And then there where dragons [open/questing]

”The valley of dragons mademoiselle.” Whisker announced, bouncing forwards to put himself between the canyon and Takara. He was pretty proud of his knowledge of this location, and the potential for him to harness and tame a dragon! Ah, it would be magnificent, he would be henceforth known at “General Whisker, Master of Dragons”. The dream. All he needed to do was drag Takara down into the canyon, convince her it was perfectly safe, and use her digivice to force a dragon into their servitude. The perfect plan, it possessed all the key elements one should expect. Dragons? Check. Damsels in distress? Give that a bit. Treasure? God he hoped so. Huge amounts of unnecessary danger? Now that was practically guaranteed.
”So, why are we here?” Takara asked/demanded. Whisker had just managed to pretty much drag the pair of them to this canyon. This deep, probably dangerous canyon. Odds are it was dangerous; it was highly unlikely that Whisker would care to seek it out if it wasn’t. From the time they’d spent together, it was fairly obvious that he had a nose and enthusiasm for danger. He just didn’t seem to ever be aware of his own mortality.
”This, m’Lady is where we shall find our newest acquaintance. The valley of dragons is a wonderful place, full of dragons, and powerful allies.” Whisker was proud of himself. The very idea that a dragon would swoop up and eat him was laughable.
Takara took a couple of steps forward to look into the canyon, hoping she wasn’t about to be met by a dragon. It was deep.
Suddenly there was a rumble, ground evaporating below Takara’s feet as she tumbled about ten feet downwards, landing on a smallish platform ten feet vertically below where Whisker now stood, the Spadamon being more athletic, and capable of maintaining his ground.
”Do something!” She yelled at Whisker, the general currently trying to figure out what to do. This looking like the sort of time for a daring rescue. He needed a rope.
Damsel in distress. Check

It had been a while since Beverly was over here. Last time she was here she fought this jerk of an Imperialdramon who was racist against demon digimon. But, with That Guilmon's aid, the dragon was defeated and absorbed. At least, that is what she remembered in her old life. As far as this current one goes, this would be her first.
But that power still flowed within her. It granted her her BlackImperialdramon form, which she was currently using. While it also was part of her Galaclivamon form, Bev rarely used her alternate mega form and decided to have fun with it for a little while.
She was not alone though. On her back was her trusty MutantGaomon lover Garm, using his holosuit appearance to make him look like a regular Gaomon. He was silent throughout the trip, but no less appreciated time alone with her. It reminded him of old times, back when he was merely her servant.
What they would do would depend on what happens, be it a fight of a short road trip or whatever else might happen.
In their flight, however, Beverly saw the two from a distance, one of them seems to have fallen down into the cliff, although she was for the moment safe. The two silently agreed that perhaps they should land and help them out. No reason not to. The large Dragon digimon landed relatively softly some distance from them, and walked to the edge where Takara fell, looking down at her, while Garm got off Beverly's back and walked alongside her.
"Well, well, I see you two got yourself in a slight pickle, eh? Need a hand?"

They've all got the same heartbeat, but her's is falling behind. Avery held onto the two cannons that jutted out of Patch's back as she rode him in his JagerLoweemon form. Earlier that afternoon he had wanted to go exploring in the Digital World, of course, as they always did after school.
Her blue orbs searched out the canyon they were currently in. It was almost desolate and she wasn't exactly sure why Patch had decided to come out this far. He had only said something about Chrome something. Why he would be looking for an internet browser out this far was beyond her. Sure, they were technically on the internet, but it was strange to her.
Patch stopped momentarily, ears flickering, before he said, "I hear yelling." She was still getting used to this form's gravelly voice.
Before she could ask if he wanted to check it out, he was already building up speed again, kicking up rock and dirt behind him.
They came to a cliff where a few Digimon stood. Hopping off, she glanced around, "Hey, is everything okay?"

(OOC: Permission to butt in!)
[ENTER]
A Garudamon X was flying fast to the Valley of Dragons. The ultimate birdman then landed on the valley, strolling around while taking out one of his popsicle in his hand. He ate the popsicle with blueberry flavor, eating it whole while leaving the wooden stick only. He was about to throw the ice cream away, but suddenly he remembered about the "incident" he had experienced when he had been in Mainframe Hills. He had been scolded by his crush Ayaka for such lowly behavior. However, it made him fall in love with her for her strength.
Ankh's face blushed as she remembered about Ayaka. He then realized that he had been thinking such stupid thing, shaking it off his mind. However, he had to admit, that the more he tried to forget about Ayaka, the more he would remember her. Oh, love was always ironic, wasn't it?
Back with Ankh and his popsicle stick, since he didn't want to throw away the stick anywhere again, he decided to burn it in his eerie, humanoid looking right hand. However, as soon as he finished burning and opened his right fist, the wind blew the ashes of the sticks, to the direction of the brown-haired girl, as she fell to the platform of some sort.
"Hmm?" Ankh murmured as he heard a yelling voice.
Ankh then went to the voice source and went to investigate. He then found the girl (Who might get the ashes) in the cliff, and a Spadamon, a girl with JaegerLoweemon, and a womon with Gaomon on the above. He just let it be, and didn't bother to help. Whatever. It was not his concern anyway.

Eek! That was a dragon. Takara was sitting on her ledge, possibly looking a little like a nice tasty snack, and a dragon of all things happened to fly up, appear and offer help? It was the largest digimon she’d seen so far, and the larger ones had seemed more hostile. This one was offering help though, but it was help while still being a dragon. That was a little more dangerous, it could quite possibly be planning on eating her later. Whisker didn’t seem to have reacted too much so far, he was staring at the dragon, his mind rapidly jumping to incorrect and suicidal conclusions. She caught this just in time, yelling a stern ”No.” with the sort of voice you’d use to discipline a puppy. She could already tell just what was going through his head, with all the talk of dragons, and the sudden appearance of one. It was just obvious.
And this highly obvious response was taken then to it’s natural conclusion, Whisker eying the dragon for a couple of seconds, though it was mainly so he could figure out the best way to scale it. A dragon had landed right next to him, and would be too pre-occupied with the damsel to notice that he, General Whisker, the soon to be master of dragons, was going to tame it.
He was so convinced of his plan that so far he hadn’t really bothered to notice anyone else around, or really care too much about the situation that Takara was in anymore. She couldn’t stop him currently, and with no taming influence, he was free to act as he please.
”Charge!” He called, running at Beverly, disregarding everything else going on around him. He didn’t notice AJ or Patch, who had appeared to see what was going on, or the Garudamon X above him, watching.
Huge amounts of unnecessary danger: check.
Takara however, was aware of the fact that she seemed to have summoned a bit more of a crowd.
”I guess I’d like it if someone could get me out of here please.”

All of a sudden a few others came about. Some tamer and her digimon, and Ankh, whom didn't seem to recognize Beverly. But this form would be new to him. Of course, she still had to train the guy in use of power, but that can wait. Ankh wasn't helping, and helping a small human out of a cliff ledge wasn't exactly a valuable lesson for one who wished for power to subjugate the weak. For now, though, Bev concentrated on Takara.
The Spadamon also had eyes the dragon in front of him. Garm, in turn, eyed the Spadamon. The Gaomon vowed his life in protecting his Lady, but this guy was... maybe a little dim. Should he even attempt to protect Beverly from the Spadamon she could end with a single motion?
Before he decided, Whiskers went on the offensive. Beverly, however, being a Mega digimon with armor and thick scales, was not worried about whatever strikes she might incur; in fact she would ignore them. Thankfully, Garm decided to not step in. It would be a wasted effort.
"You should hold still, little human. Don't want to drop you."
Takara would feel weightlessness as she floated out of the crevasse, and onto the safer ground above. This was all thanks to Beverly's telekinesis. "There you go. We certainly got a small crowd her so fast. Hold on..." She then turned to the Garudamon X and yelled up at him. "Ankh, are you going to come down here, leave, or just gawk at us?"

They've all got the same heartbeat, but her's is falling behind. AJ went to peer over the side of the cliff where a girl about her age was perched on a cliff. "Hey, you okay?" she called. A frown graced the Italian teen's young features, obviously worried about the other girl.
Just as she was about to offer help, the other Digimon, some type of dragon and a very large one at that, was offering help to the other girl. AJ's eyes widened as the Spadamon yelled out and tried to attack the Mega level Digimon. The young girl was lifted--maybe some kind of psychic power?--and was set back on the normal ground.
"Ankh, are you going to come down here, leave, or just gawk at us?"
AJ gasped and twisted around to stare into the sky. Sure enough, a large bird-like Digimon was floating in the sky. Her hand went automatically to her D3. Sensing his partner's anxiety, the JagerLoweemon growled and spread it's feed, cannons cocking.

Ankh saw the girl under the cliff, and the BlackImperialdramon tried to get her up to the normal ground. Oh, what a relief, at least he didn't have to lift a finger to help her. Besides, the girl's already safe and sound. So, if he tried to help her, it didn't cut it since Beverly already did it. He was a bit late, perhaps?
"Hah. None of my concern." Ankh huffed. "Besides, that brat fell into the cliff because of her own mistakes, right? You just helped her, and I thought you didn't need my help."
Ankh then landed onto the ground, taking another popsicle before eating it whole, sans the stick. He then threw the stick and its package into the cliff. Eew, a litterer. He just didn't care about throwing trashes properly, did he?
"I know it's you, Beverly." Ankh identified the BlackImperialdramon from her voice. "And what are you brats doing here?
Ankh then noticed the JaegerLoweemon pointing his cannons at him. Ankh just huffed, and turned to the black-haired girl, "Also a question, girl. Why do that JaegerLoweemon points his guns at me? Does he wanna pick a fight with me?" Ankh asked AJ.

Whisker was pouncing at Beverly, clambering up a leg when he was suddenly extracted by a pair of hands, Takara grabbing the small digimon around the chest and removing him from the large dragon who had been nice enough to get her out of the previous predicament. Whisker squirmed slightly, still trying to get at the dragon. It was a dragon!
”Err, like, sorry about him, he’s kinda like a puppy or something. All energy, and no thought.” Takara spoke to the dragon, still hoping it wasn’t planning on eating her.
”That’s not true at all m’Lady, my plans are of the finest origin. Now, if you would be so kind as to relinquish your grasp, I shall tame the dragon for us, and grant you a magnificent steed from which you may watch my victories.” Apparently, Whisker didn’t plan on accepting logic or reason, and so Takara didn’t let him go. That was the benefit of being slightly larger, Whisker had to do what she wanted if she could catch him. The alternative was being treated like a soft toy, and getting carried around like a baby.
Then there where the others, the other girl and her digimon, and the larger digimon, who Takara immediately took exception to. Well she had to, it called her a brat.
”Hey! You could be nicer you know. It’s not like we all happen to have wings and stuff.” In her arms there was still a stuggling Spadamon, wriggling in his attempts to get at the dragon.

"Garm, take over for the moment as I speak to Ankh..."
Beverly focused her attention to Ankh, while Garm walked to address the others. Garm didn't know Ankh at all, but it seems that Beverly did. He wasn't a hostile party, though, as he might be one of those Vexus allies of hers. Even if he was an enemy, Beverly and himself would prove to be more than a match for the garudamon X. Meanwhile, Bev had made a mental note to not mention the fact that she was one of his trainers. Garm was one thing, but no one else needed to know that info.
"I didn't say I needed your help. I just wanted to know what you were going to do. And if you're going to watch, you might as well come down here."
Garm first addressed the JaegarLoweemon, in a serious, but not overly stern voice. "Don't do it. He's stronger than you. And if you do fire, he'll be the least of your worries."
Next was Whiskers. "My Lady is not a steed to be tamed."
Short and to the point. Beverly turned back to Takara. The dragon looked hat her for a few moments, seemingly remembering something. "Hmm... I must ask you... do you know Ghost? If so... I apologize for her hair obsession." Ghost had told Beverly about meeting this girl. Sure, Beverly wouldn't outright know what she looked like, but Ghost was rather... precise in describing Takara's appearance.

They've all got the same heartbeat, but her's is falling behind. "Also a question, girl. Why do that JaegerLoweemon points his guns at me? Does he wanna pick a fight with me?"
This question seemed to make the girl bristle more. Patch, in tune with his tamer, let out a low growl. She relaxed her grip slightly on the D3, but still maintained an angry expression. "I guess you don't remember. You antagonzed us back in Shibuya, when he was just an egg." Glancing over at Patch, she shook her head. "Just back down. He's probably up to no good again, but I think we're safe."
Patch growled when he heard Garm's comment about Ankh being stronger, but made his way back over to AJ. AJ went over to the girl who was about her age and gave her a slight smile. "Hey, are you okay? You had quite the fall there."

Ankh twitched his beaks when the Spadamon tried to ride and tame Beverly. The Gaomon looked obviously so unpleased, that he reminded the Spadamon about that. She needed some personal space, you know. "What he said, Spada kid." Ankh added Garm's advice. "I'm just here to stroll around, anyways."
The Garudamon X then turned at AJ and his Digimon. Yeah, he could remember them well. That girl was one of the kids he had met when he was trying to scam her into working for him back in Shibuya, while promising to feed her "baby". Guess the baby grew up nicely, huh? And that JaegerLoweemon seemed hostile towards him.
"Oh, I remember now. You're the brat who found the egg at the alley with cats, right? And looks like your baby grew up this fast, huh?" Ankh remarked. "I don't care how you recognize me in this form, but I think it didn't matter anymore if I want you work for me or not. Because you succeeded to raise your baby on your own, and I just got my Ultimate form. Now I don't need anyone's help anymore, because I can get stronger by myself.
Ankh then looked at the younger girl, and commented about him having to be nicer. Tch, detriment on head comes again. "That's why humans don't have wings, right? It's for you ditzes to walk carefully, especially at place like this! You don't know when danger comes to you like when you stupidly fall into the cliff, so be prepared and get used with it!" Ankh harshly advised Takara. He then took out another popsicle, this time with melon-flavored green one. He then threw away the pack to the cliff, littering again as he ate the ice cream.

”Whatdayamean she’s not a steed. Dragons! Dragons, knights, knights riding dragons, and how do ya do that? Taming!” The whole thing was probably so simple in his head, there wasn’t enough room in there for the possibility that he might just be wrong about the whole thing, and that made it all quite easy to progress through and obvious about what he wanted to do. However, currently General Whisker, the should be master of dragons was demoted to the role of being carried like some kind of pet. Gah, he hated when Takara did this already, it was just so inconvenient. And she was conversing with the dragon, talking. Coward! He’d have to teach the lady how to act like a knight of honour, and force larger fire breathing creatures to her will. She’s make a fine dragon knight too, and then she could wear armour, and be trained with a sword, and not wear all that girly squishy stuff which wouldn’t protect her from a pointed stick. Too many t-shirts and not enough chainmail!
And apparently the dragon knew the ghost who’d taken to having an obsession with her hair at the train station before. Great, just great. Did this mean the dragon was going to ear her hair? Hopefully not, it didn’t look like it was about to. Maybe this was a little bit better.
”Er, yeah, like I think I probs met her before, in the station or something. Is she actually a ghost, she kinda possessed someone I met.”
She turned to the other girl, who seemed to want to know if she was OK. Whether or not she was, which she pretty much wasn’t all the time now, between the awful job she had babysitting Whisker, and the general heat of this entire world. Being lost was also an issue, but at least Whisker was quite good at pretending to know where he was.
”I guess I’m good now, back up from there at least.” By this point in her travels, she was a little too tired to meet everyone with general hostility, especially when they didn’t seem like they where about to attack her. The giant birdman however, he was continuing to be obnoxious. She took a breath in, and one out, composing herself.
”Well maybe you should think about being a little nicer you stupid bird brain. It’s not like I walked off the edge, it all feel away. That could even happen to you with your stupid wings.”

Beverly allowed the others to have their quips before speaking again as she imagined Ghost's meeting with the girl. Ghost told her that she loved her hair. And messed with her a bit, out of fun and not malice. And that Joey and Blitz were there too. And that Ghost did possess the Bearmon. Well, what could she do? That Hylden data in her kind of makes her possess happy at times. But she knows well enough not to stay long, lest she does the same thing to Joey what Garm went through. And Ghost certainly would hate to do that.
She also more or less let Ankh say whatever he wanted. Like Ghost, she couldn't tell him what to do. She'd just have to deal.
Garm was just wishing Whiskers would stop calling Beverly a steed. He wasn't angry over it... but it was annoying to have someone consistently call his mate a steed.
"That sounds like Ghost, alright. She not an actual 'ghost', though, that's just the name I gave her due to her attributes. She's... well, I am certain no one here would listen to me explain exactly what my relationship to Ghost is, as it's quite complicated, so to put it simply Ghost is my other half.
Also, your friend there seems quite dense..." Beverly, at the last moment, decided to not say she was technically closer to a witch than a full dragon. Takara seemed to have her hands full restraining him already.
"Again, I am not a steed, Spadamon. Anyway, what Ankh says does have some truth to it... you should be careful here. There be dragons, ones far more hostile than I that would gobble you up faster than you can draw a blade at. Still, I'd say give him time and maybe he can learn to channel that energy he has elsewhere."

AJ frowned as Ankh replied. So he did remember. "Yeah, he did grow up just fine. And we got stronger too," she quipped before turning back to the other girl.
Her frowned slipped into a more friendly smile. "Well, it's good you're okay. The Digital World can be kind of dangerous. I've really learned that the last few times I've been here." Her crystalline gaze shifted to where Whisker, whom she supposed was this girl's partner, continued to try and insist that he was going to "tame" Beverly. Her attention was dragged back to Takara and Ankh having their own conversation and it seemed this girl had a bit of hostility towards the bird-like Digimon. AJ couldn't really blame her with the way he talked about humans.
