A beautiful ocean with...PIRATES! [Ankh]

Blue. A color that now extended beyond the eye's reach, to places one could only imagine, dream about. Those dreams could be good or bad, depending on one's thoughts about the endless macro ocean. But Joseph and those who ventured here before him knew the reality was bad.
Ankh was giving him a lift through this ocean, and it had been a few hours since they entered.
"Now remember, we're looking for a golden pirate ship with an enormous skull on the front." Joseph reminded Ankh and his partners, a few hours ago when there was no longer solid ground beneath them, but a large pool of deep, dark water. Who knew the kind of life forms, or in this case, digital life forms lived there, beneath the sky-reflecting waters?
But after all this time looking, Joseph was beggining to wonder if maybe he missed the schedual or the location for the deal, and grew worried that maybe he'd never find this "Golden Pirate". Would they starve to death, looking for this moraly unbound digimon, and get lost in the infinite ocean?
Joseph looked upon his partners. The worms were hanging on to Ankh's feathers on the back, both of them thoughtfull. They had evolved during the Yeti King's tests, in a fight with an empowered Mojyamon, while trying to resist a tornado made by a snowgarudamon. Joseph's worry about the possibility of his partners getting deleted caused them to evolve.
The boy took a peak at the sun, up in the sky above, thinking about how he could get his partners to evolve further, without needing such risk or emotion to get there. |

Ah, beautiful ocean spreading with blue sea. Macro Ocean was always beautiful to be viewed from any angle. Not to mention it was the largest ocean in Digital world. So many marine lifeform lived undersea, and beautiful scenery there. And guess who was flying through the skies of Macro Ocean.
Across the skies were a Bird Man type Digimon, carrying a human teenager and his two larval partners. They weren't merely crossing seas just to enjoy scenery, but they had something to do. That's right. They wanted to meet a group feared in this ocean. They had a business to deal with, and to have them joining the big army.
The teen, Joseph told the birdman, Ankh to find a golden ship with enormous skull mark on its front. That was probably the ship of "Golden Pirates". Soon, the Garudsmon X found a ship as described by Joseph.
"There!" Ankh said.
Ankh then landed on the ship, bringing his new allies (and soon would be superiors) down. Now what they had to do was to find the Captain of Golden Pirates there.

And so they arrived at the golden ship. Joseph Immediatly noticed how large it was, probably the size of a soccer field. Maybe two. It was impressive, Joseph had to face it, though he wasn't particullary found of the ocean himself.
He turned as he heard steps behind them. A girl, probably a bit older than Joseph, dressed in a maid uniform arrived, a silvery plate filled with some weird cookies in her hand. She bowed carefully not to have the trail filled with cookies fall down.
"Greetings masters. Master Olegmon will attend you in a moment. He hopes you enjoy your stay. Crab cookies?" The girl said calmly, slowly and softly. Her welcoming smile didn't match the low, almost mechanical tone of her voice and empty eyes. She reached out with the trail, yet Joseph and his partners refused. It might be trap, afterall.
Joseph was hiding it well, but he couldn't deny it: this was creeping him out. Ankh had mentioned some kind of hypnotic powers this pirates were supposed to have. Maybe this was a victim?
"Gappo gappo, Viva, Olegna!" a multitude of voices suddenly yelled from within the ship.
"Gappo Gappo." the girl repeated in low tone. A few moments later, a gold-painted, wooden door opened, unleashing a crowd of humans and digimon each one ignoring the Joseph, his partners and Ankh, with the exception of a few blank stares they received. Each member got on a different position of the ship and few even thrower themselves to the water before digivolving into aquatic forms such as Submarinemon and Depthmons.
And then another figure emerged from the door. A tall golden digimon, with a metal jaw and red hair appeared. It looked more like a Viking than a pirate, but the mad laughter it unleashing (and which none of the crew seemed to notice) denounced him as "the golden pirate". |

After landed on the ship, they found it was large. Maybe as large as an entire stadium or so. But nevertheless, they had to be careful on what would they see and hear, especially after he heard of what the Golden Pirates were. The cruelest pirates of Macro Ocean.
And then there was a girl in maid outfit. She offered them crab cookies to eat, though Ankh refused as well. However, he noticed something weird on her. Her eyes were dull and she sounded... lifeless. Could she be the victim of Golden Pirates' hypnotism?
"Gappo Gappo! Viva, Olegna!"
This is it. Ankh noticed the girl rechanting the jargon. So that was the mean of hypnotism, he thought. Maybe she fell on its influence somehow?
And then there were humans and Digimons went out of a golden door and the Digimons jumped into water... And digivolved into Marine Digimons?! Ankh then looked at his surroundings carefully, to see if there were shady things around.
And there was the captain. A golden pirate who looked more into viking rather than pirate.
"So you're the captain, huh? Golden Pirate?" Ankh asked the pirate.

(OOC: Actually I did say there were humans and digimon leaving the door. Digimon jumped into the water. Other digimon and all the humans stayed in the ship.)
The golden pirate laughed when Ankh asked him who he was.
"Are you an enemy or a newbie? My enemies call me "golden pirate", as well as the scared populations. My "friends" call me master Olegmon. My allies call me simply Olegmon." The Viking told them.
"Then we are pleasures to meet you...Olegmon." Viralkunemon greeted.
"Oh, I see. So...you people are?" The golden pirate asked, taking a hand full of crab cookies and shoving them into his mouth. "This are delicious. You should have some." He said, still chewing, having some piece fly towards Joseph his partners and Ankh.
"Master Olegmon, this are master Joseph and master Joseph's partners, they must have evolved since last we heard. Oh and there is the master garudamon x." The girl introduced them.
"His name is Ankh. We're here for our deal, Olegmon." Joseph said.
"Ok, ok, all on due time. First I got something to settle here. Hey Gina..." Olegmon said, having the girl turn to him, inquisite. Or at least Joseph though she was inquisite, as her face still only showed those empty eyed and her weird welcoming smile. "How many times must I explain this? Our guests are called masters, unless they have to become our "friends". I am "CAPTAIN" Olegmon. Got it? Say it. Good girl." The "captain" petted the maid on the head "Now say it with me. Gappo Gappo" they both said it together, flapping their arms as chickens "Viva" The slammed their fists together "Olegna!" the raised an arm in the air. A strange spell, in Joseph's opinion. "Now bring me my throne!"
Almost Immediatly a group of children, probably within the ages of four and seven brought Olegmon a golden chair, with several jewels to adorn it. The golden pirate sat on it, laughing.
"You know Joseph, this one used to be just like you. Ambitious, powerfull, with a pair of digimon partners..." The Olgemon related. Fear stroke Joseph as he saw the girl dressed in a maid outfit, imagining himself in her position and how that day might turn out that way. |

So, here was the captain, Olegmon the Golden Pirate. Looks like he was excited to see the new party such as Ankh and Joseph. This golden viking, er... pirate asked if they were enemies or newbie. After brief introduction, he quickly took a handful crab cookies. Wow, those were his favorite, it seemed.
The maid then introduced the whole group, Joseph and his partner, finished by Joseph to introduce Ankh. The Olegmon then told the girl, Gina to call him "Captain". True, he was captain of the ship. They then chanted the jargon again, and it was weird way to hypnotize someone indeed.
Olegmon then ordered the kids to bring the golden chair. Oh, so he had hypnotized the minors too. How low. Ankh couldn't help but grimace at Olegmon's behavior, hopefully he could slap some reality to that golden pirate's face. However, he couldn't since Joseph had an agreement with him, and he needed an ally. He even talked that Gina had similarities to Joseph.
"You think?" Ankh asked the Mega. "And how did you manage to get her?"
If that girl was similar to Joseph history-wise, it could be that she could be Joseph's ally. And possibly love interest...

Olegmon began to laugh as Ankh asked him about Gina, the girl Olegmon had hipnotized and who he had said to have similarities to Joseph.
"Oh, it`s funny actually. You see she too was ambitious...and greedy. A lot less than Joseph, yes, as what she wanted was just Terminus City, not two entire worlds, and her ambition was to make Money from the travels, not to rule it. In fact that`s why I`m not just controlling you four. There`s too much evil in you, my spell would not work, even when it is as amplified as it is now." The golden pirate explained "But I`m getting of track. She was also a twin tamer, her partners are back there in the dock in fact. A Gabumon and a Psychemon. But I guess she was still to naive, she thought she could convince me to let her go once I had taken the rest of the group of humans she brought me. I´m not that trustable, otherwise I wouldn`t be worthy of being called a "pirate", right?"
The viking-like digimon gave another laugher, and drank some ale one of the humans gave him.
"So, is our deal standing? Done?" Joseph inquired, afraid he wouldn`t like the answer.
"Hah, it feels good to have "friends". A whole crew of them is even better. But yeah, yo have your deal, as long as nobody touches my seas. And you asked for a guarantee of my loyalty, so here." The golden pirate took of one of his green bracelets and hurled it at Joseph. "That amplifies my power. If you break it, I loose my power upon humans. I hope that is enough to prove I`m on your side And I hope you`re on mine, Joseph."
"My master is on the side of all his allies." Viralkunemon commented. "But we should be going."
"No, hang around for a bit more. I insist. And so do they..." Olegmon requested.
A group of girls surrounded Jospeh as he spoke, while some digimon did the same with Kokunemon, Viralkunemon and Ankh. One could see a fire being lit behind them, and the golden pirate laughing his way up.
"Stay, please stay. Gappo, Gappo!" the girls and digimon begged with sad expressions, but the same blank eyes.
(OOC: Olegmon had two green bracelets that enchanced his power here. Forgot to metion it. No, they`re not natural to Olegmons.) |

Olegmon then told the group about Gina and how did he meet her. Yeah, not much like Joseph, but at least they had some similarities. The difference was, he was into world domination, and she was just into money. But nevertheless, they shared their ambitious quirks, or used to. She even had twin Digimons, a Gabumon and a Psychemon. Wonder if they became Olegmon's servant like their tamer though.
Joseph then offered the Olegmon a deal, and he complied. He even gave the boy one of the green bracelets, seemingly a treasure he had kept. The birdman wondered if that bracelet had something to do to assist their journey. It seemed to be a power booster, or at least according to Olegmon.
"So it can boost your strength, huh? Wonder if Joseph can put it into good use." Ankh said.
After asking the group to stay, the girls surrounding them and the fire lit behind them. They then chanted the jargon again, but the sad look and dull eyes could be seen from them. Ankh frowned, sickened by this, especially after seeing their saddened face. But whatever, he decided to play along anyways.
"Fufufu... Ha-HAHAHAHAHA!" Ankh let out a mad laughter, both in disgust (which he tried to hide) and sick excitement. "I see! So you're yet another ruthless party we met! Looks like coming here wasn't waste of time at all!
The weak perishes, the strong survives. That's the rule of nature. To trample the foes and to take what they hold dear, and to put them into submission, that's what strength is!" Ankh exclaimed.

Joseph examined the bracelet wondering how it increased Olegmon's power. Some magical powers, probably, but he didn't have much time to think about it. Both Joseph and his partner pushed the hypnotized girls and digimon out of the way, even though they almost seemed to want insist on holding on to them, surrounding them. Indeed Olegmon's powers where great.
Ankh laughed, ebing yet unable to disguice his disgust. Unlike Joseph and his partners, the golden pirate seemed to know why.
"I know my methods aren't all that "honorable", Ankh, but let me tell you there's not one being on this ship that has come it unwilligly. Yes, most of them came here to kill me, but we became "friends" then. Hah! I'm afriad I'll have to disagree on something: the weak don't have to perish to the strong. It is as you said before: bind them to our submission. I think it's a much more...profitable method." The Viking explained "But if you'd rather a different company I cam fetch something more, hum, familair."
The Olegmon snapped his fingers and the girls and digimon retreated. Gina adavnced towards Joseph and a hawkmon flied down from the sky towards Ankh. A Pyschemon and a Gabumon also emerged from the crowd heading towards the group.
"Gappo, Gappo!" they all shouted together.
"Stip this mess, Olegmon!" Viralkunemon protested "We have more things to worry about than your amusement."
The pirate laughed again.
"Oh, really? I know what kind of business you REALLY have. I was hoping we could discuss it on private terms." Olegmon. "Or you think I don't recognise a cycle aspect when I see one?" |

Olegmon did have a point. He agreed on the weak being put into submission, but he disagreed in weak perishes to the strong. So he just wanted allies, after all. Ankh could figure that Golden Pirate used to voyage through the seas alone.
And then the girls retreated, as a Hawkmon like his rookie form brought a Gabumon and Psychemon. They then chanted the same jargon. Whatever it was, it started to make a headache to him. He grew sick to hear such annoying jargon. Those stupid yelling was nothing but detriment to his ears.
"I see. So you just want an ally after all. Let me guess. You were alone during your adventure?" Ankh asked to Olegmon. While the ViralKunemon protested, he told him, "Calm down."
Ankh then turned to the golden captain and said, "And you see, we're here to have you and your crew to be our friend. You should be happy for that."

" You have quite some quick wits in you Ankh." the golden pirate commented. "But I'm afraid you misunderstood me. I keep prosioners, they satisfact my need for company. They always did. But the reason I asked you to stay has nothing to do with loneliness. I'm over it. I want to speak to Viralkunemon privately."
"What? Why him?" Joseph asked, confused by this. Olegmon wanted to speak with his partner alone? Did the Viking intent to hipbotuse Viralkunemon as well? Fear stroke Joseph, especially when the Olgemon released another loud laughter.
"Simple. He knows of certain things I'd like to know of. He will certainly try to hide them... But I think I can try to persuade him. Again, Joseph you're holding my guarantee of loyalty." The golden pirate stated. It was true, so he nodded. Yet he looked at the mechanical larvae, as he wasn't about to force his partner to go.
Viralkunemon was worried as well. IThis pirate had called him a "cycle aspect". He still remembered his previous life, the reason why people used to call him and his sister that... If Joseph found out this soon, all of their plans would go down the drain. He followed the Olegmon into the inside of the ship, while humans and digimon made a living wall behind them, preventing Joseph, Kokunemon and Ankh from disturbing his and Olegmon's private chat.
Kokunemon herself was worried, and dumbfounded. Why would the golden pirate try to make "friends"? Why would he want to speak to her brute brother? Why were that Psychemon, Gabumon , Hawkmon and Gima approaching them with a smile and funny looking eyes?
"Let's play a game." Gina said "You like games, Gappo Gappo? You have to close your eyes and tell me who you'd wanna be with right now and who he, she or they were to you. What do you think Joseph and Ankh?" |

Just as he thought. Something wasn't right, as Olegmon asked ViralKunemon to have private talk. He suspected if Olegmon was after one of the "cycle aspects", which was Joseph's partners. Crap, he had to do something about this fast! Or else... the plan to get allies were about to be ruined!
And just as he was about to barge into Olegmon's cabin, suddenly the humans and Digimons halted him and Joseph. Damn, just what they wanted to do?! And what Joseph and Kokunemon, and Ankh would about to do?! And that Gina wench about to as thm to do some of the games! Dang it, just cut it off already!
"Tsk. What are you planning to do? CUT THE FUCK IT OUT ALREADY!" Ankh shouted. "I don't know what do you want, but what you want to do with that worm?!"

The Olegmon sure didn't wanna talk. Nomatter what Ankh screamed outside, it simply didn't listen.
Joseph was wondering what the golden pirate and his partner might be discussing while he fought off the wave of zombie-like hypnotized "friends" of Olgemon's who kept approaching regardless of how hurt both sides might get, unwavering on their apperent desire to play a game. It seemed independently of how many they pushed off, more came. Olgemon sure was powerfull. Joseph considered breaking the gift the golden pirate had given him so they wouldn't have to face the controlled like that.
Kokunemon was frightned. Why was the crowd around them acting like that? Want did they REALLY want? Was her brother in the process of being hypnotized too? If so...would the rest of them be next?
The thoughts were cut out by a sudden laughter from the cabin. The crowd retreat and opened a hall for Olgemon and Virallunemon.
"Well, we've had our chat. You can go now. Hope to start soon, Joseph." Olgemon said. Joseph looked at him suspiciously. Yet, Joseph worm partner arrived at him normally.
"Don't worry, I'm not hypnotized." Viralkunemon told Joseph. The boy felt safer as the machine hadn't said the jargon when it finished speaking. Joseph looked at Ankh.
"So, we have some free time now. Should we go take a look at that lab of yours?" Joseph asked the bird-man.
(OOC: I'll leave to start the next thread (Ankh's lab). I ran out of ideas for Olegmon.)

Those zombie-like hypnotized guys were creeping him out. He even started to sweat, in slight worry, and fear. Seriously, he couldn't stand the hypnotized mess, especially if more kept coming at them. He could see KoKunemon freaked out, and Ankh was about to take an action. As he was about to prepare for the next level of Digivolution...
Olegmon let out a burst of laughter. He then came out of the cabin along with ViralKunemon. He seemed... normal? At least it was relief for both Joseph and Ankh, that he was okay, without chanting that weird jargon.
"I was thinking that you were hypnotizing him. My bad." Ankh apologized after the negative thoughts were shooed away after seeing ViralKunemon's consciousness intact. Joseph then asked him to see his place.
"Sure, but don't be surprised to see my place messy as hell. It would look like an old rubble for you." Ankh answered.
Ankh then took Joseph and his larval partners into his hand before beating his wings, and then flew away from the ship. Sure, it had been funny, yet annoying experience. What's up with that lame jargon, really? Damn, those were things he would rather forget, for the rest of his life.
Goddamn it.
