A not so casual stroll (Panz, open)

It been such a stressful week for Marcia, mostly with the exams she had to take in the university. Sure, some of them were easy for her, but she still had some tough one to study hard for. Not to mention the homework and writing assignments that she had to do. To top it all off, she ran into her old friend, Ryu Hamada, and he almost discovered that she was a digimon tamer. At least today, she had taken care of all of that, and she can finally relax for moment. She rather not stay at home, as her father continue to be more distant from her, making the atmosphere rather awkward. So she decided to take a long walk around Miyashita Park, reading a nice novel that she recently bought. It was such a nice day to be in the park and she enjoyed the wide, open spaces.
She wasn’t alone on her walk either. She was hold her book in one hand as she was carrying her Suki, her Moonmon partner in her arms. The curious, in-training digimon had always been curious about what she was reading. Marcia thought it was nice that she was learning more about the human world. She had been mostly curious about everything. Marcia was just about to turn a page in her book.
“Hey. I wasn’t done reading that part, Marcia.” Suki whispered to her.
Marcia just smiled and rest her fingers on the side of the book. Despite all of the stress she was in, Suki seem to always lift her spirit. Her friend, Harry, can do that too. Although, they haven’t seen much of each other lately. Most of the time, he would be in the Digital world. Suki had been asking her constantly to return over there. Perhaps when she had more free time, she would go back there..as long as she doesn’t meet up with bad digimon.

((hope you don't mind =) it said open XD))
Yui was still adjusting to the recent change that brought forth her digimon, but there were times it was nice ot just sit back and relax, rather than constantly seeking answers. Yui walked into the park, looking around a bit cautiously. It seemed more or less pretty empty....a stray person here or there but nothing too bad. Good. She placed her bag down, and pulled out two little slimey creatures. A white one with a single horn, and a brown one with three horns and two pink ribbons on her ears. "Alright now stay close, and don't run up to any people. Remember if you see anyone stop moving and act like toys okay?" she said to the pair as they turned to her and nodded at once. "Good! Now go play." she said, smiling at the pair and giggled to bounce around and play.
Yui kept an eye out in the meanwhile, no one was neaby and the bushes did a good job to covering the small little digimon. She did see someone walking rather close, but when she saw she was reading she decided it wasn't a big deal. People who red like that were usually too engrossed in their books to really pay attention anyhow right? She briefly saw her holding something, but Yui couldn't focus on one person for too long anyways.
"I'm coming for you Loli! You better hiiide!" Pop said, his ears covering his eyes as Loli squeed with enjoyment and jumped into a bush to hide. "3...2...1! Here I come!" he said as he bounced around to look for his sister.

(It’s cool, the more the merrier)
Marcia stopped by a nearby statues, thinking that this would be a good place to finish her book. She lean on the back of it, with both her and Suki looking at the pages, neither of them noticing the young girl sitting away from them. Just then, Suki felt a very familiar feeling. The feeling that a digimon was near. She looked around and noticed two small creature playing in the bushes. The Moonmon smiled widely as nudged her Tamer.
“Marcia. I see a couple of digimon playing over by the bushes. May I go play with them? Please?” Suki asked.
Marcia wasn’t sure what she was talking about. She lowered her book and turn over to the direction that Suki was referring to. She could see the digimon too. Then she looked around and noticed the girl as well. Seeing as there weren’t anyone else around, she might be her tamer. She wasn’t really sure if she should let Suki approached them, but they seem harmless enough and it has been a long while since she played with other digimon.
“Well…I guess it won’t hurt. I’ll just go ask their tamer first.” Marcia told her.
Suki was hopping in her arms happily, ecstatic that she would get to play with other digimon. Marcia put her book back in her bag and took a deep breath. She really hoped that the girl really was their tamer, otherwise, she would look really foolish. She went over to where the girl sat, smiling a bit at her.
“Excuse me, um…I couldn’t help but notice your digimon by the bushes.” Marcia reached into her pocket and pulled out her digivice. “I’m a digimon tamer too. My digimon wanted to play with yours and I was wondering if that would be okay with you.”

Ghost was prowling the area, stalking and eavesdropping on any she pleased. Even as a digimon, her special abilities made it easy for her to keep out of sight, as well as, despite her relative strength, her current body as HyldenImpmon made hiding her true power easy.
All and all, this was normal Ghost activity whenever she was in the human world.
She kept to hiding inside trees and the ground, looking for some hapless victims. She normally did people involved with digimon... seemed more fun, and that normal humans would just consider it a ghost haunting.
And despite her name, she was not, in fact, a literal ghost.
Spotting a couple digimon and humans, she decided on her victims, sinking back into the ground and heading to the others. She would allow her being to be sensed by the others, and when enough time has passed, she would thrust a ghostly arm from the ground to spook them.

Yui smiled as she watched their game of hide and seek, Pop was scrambling around to try and find his sister. Loli was giggling from her little hiding place as she popped her head out. There's no way Pop will find my hiding spot! she thought with a slight giggle. Pop meanwhile, was creeping up on a bush. "Could you possibly be....HERE!?" he jumped into a bush, but came out with a frown. "Rats! I thought I had her!" he said, thinking he was being super sneeky in finding her. Yui was so busy watching them, she didn't even notice the tamer and digimon approaching her. When she heard the voice she let out a shriek and turned around suddenly, staring at the pair. Oh geez that scared her! "Oh umm...I suppo-" but before she could finish suddenly her two little slime digimon were there staring at the intruder. "Who are you!? Are you hurt Yui!?" he asked as he stared at the moonmon.
"I'm fine, I'm fine. Don't worry. She didn't hurt me. She was only asking if she could play with you two." they stopped and looked at each other, then smiled. "Ooh sorry! We just wanted to know Yui was okay!" "We heard the scream so we just had to be sure." said Loli, in a far more soft and gentle tone than that of her brother.
Before they could really get into much playtime, suddenly an arm came up from the ground, as Pop and Loli immediately jumped back and began attacking it. "Bubble Blast!" "Double Bubble!" they shouted as the two streams of little acid bubbles were shot at the strange hand.

Once Marcia had gotten the attention of the younger teen, she had shrieked a bit, surprising her. She really didn’t mean to scare her like that. Just then, her two digimon went over to her and Suki, yelling at them because they thought they were going to hurt her. Marcia felt even more embarrassed. She didn’t mean to cause trouble. At least the girl, whose name appears to be Yui, calmed them down and they apologize for the accusation. Marcia gave them a short apologetic bow.
“I should apologize too. I didn’t mean to frighten you.” Marcia said Yui gently. Now that she gotten a chance to look at the smile digimon up close, she thought that they look really cute.
Suki smiled back the two. “Yeah. I just really wanna play with you guys. It looked like you were playing hide and seek. Marcia told me all about it, but I never really played before. It looked like so much fun.” Said Suki as she kept bouncing happily in her tamer’s arms.
Marcia gently lowered her arm and let Suki hop off of it, moving closer to the two in-training. Marcia really couldn’t help but smile. It is nice to see her digimon making some new friends, that is unless they wanted to. Seeing this would help her not think about all of the worries she’s been having.
Alas, it seems that Suki’s wishes would be put on hold. Suddenly, a strange hand came out of the ground near them. This really shocked Marcia. “What in the world…” She just couldn’t understand it. It most likely come from a digimon, but she never heard of one that looked like ghost. This put Yui’s digimon on alert as they started to attack it. Suki growled a bit. She couldn’t just stand there while some hand from nowhere was going to attack her new friends and Marcia.
The Moonmon quickly leaped over to join the other two digimon. “Suki! Wait—” Marcia tried to call her digimon back, but she couldn’t stop her in time. “DARK BURST!” shouted Suki as she shout a small ball of dark energy over at the hand. Marcia moved closer to Yui, making sure to protect her in case the hand or the digimon attached to it becomes hostile.

Ghost, even with her head literally in the ground, could make out some panic and digimmon attacking. They were quite proactive, each of them quickly deciding to attack the hand that "threatened" their tamers.
However, their attacks would prove ineffective; Ghost was too powerful. Were she an actual antagonist to these digimon, they would have no chance.
The hand would touch the ground, giving the appearance of Ghost pushing herself up. Her eyes were glowing orange, and her voice was eerie. The glowing eyes could be turned off and on (well, less "off" and more of a low glow), but the pre-echo nature of her voice was natural. It would chill them to the bone. Well, she *hoped* it would chill them to the bone.
"Your attacks cannot harm me. And now I shall have a bit of fun..."
There was a small pause, and then Ghost looked away, scratching her hooded head. The glow of her eyes also became less pronounced.
"You know what? I've never actually possessed an in-training digimon... rookies and above, yeah... but not in-trainings or below... actually, all things considered I might actually hurt you if I did that. And I don't actually want to hurt you. Mistress sometimes says willfully and maliciously harming the woefully weak shows weak mental fortitude.
Hee hee, well, how about that. You digimon are so weak I have to end my spook session prematurely! How fortunate, although that means I can't make one of you do a silly dance. I really love that, taking over digimon's bodies and making them do a little jig. Or flamboyant poses! I once made a blue Guilmon do the most fabulous of poses!!!"

Pop and Loli did seem willing to play, but with the interruption of the unexpected hand popping up that didn't seem to happen. Yui quickly ran and grabbed the two of them, stepping back. What was that thing!? It seemed like all three of their attacks did well....nothing! What was going on? The best Yui could figure was this must be a digimon, and a strong one at that. She really didn't want her twins getting hurt because of a digimon with a bad attitude.
When it began talking, Yui only became more nervous....as she thought hteir attacks were indeed useless. Of course she didn't know that was because this digimon was far more powerful than hers, she was still only just learning about digimon after all. But now that she showed herself, the twins were starting to sense the difference in their powers. Well crap.
"I-I'm not afraid of you!" shouted Pop, but his shivering said otherwise. "Sssh. That's enough." Yui said, listening to what the digimon said. That didn't make her feel any better. She didn't want it to treat her digimon as puppets...and possibly hurt them. Though Pop seemed to take offense to being called weak but....he knew it was true. Loli seemed to be more focused on the crappy situation they were in, more so than the words the digimon spoke.
"We aren't looking for trouble. You scared them when they were playing. We would appreciate it if you would please leave us alone.." Yui had no idea what talking to it would do, but she figured in the very least it was worth a shot. She didn't want her digimon to get hurt...or worse. And it's clear if this one got upset it would be easy for her to dispose of the little babies.

Despite all of the in-training digimon attacking the hand at the same time, it didn’t seem to do any damage at all. Suki was getting really scared. She wasn’t sure what she should do. Then she noticed a head had come up from the ground. Then the rest of her started to come up the ground as well. Suki stood back and looked up at the fearsome digimon, sensing a powerful and frightful aura coming from her. She was way stronger then she, Loli and Pop combined. The way that she spoke also gave her a terrible fright. She kept moving back towards Marcia, where she took the chance to pick up her up and held her close to protect and calm her down.
Marcia also found the voice from the digimon to be very unsettling. She still try to stay strong from Yui and not show her fear. She wasn’t really sure what to do, though. Alone, she felt that she couldn’t fight against this eerie digimon, and she couldn’t digivolve her to rookie. She still try to stay calm and trying to figure out how to get everyone out of this situation. Just then, she stopped. It seems that all of their digimon were too weak for her to possess them and would hurt them instead. Marcia, of course, didn’t like the idea of being possessed, but at least there might be a chance that this digimon leave them be. Yui’s idea about talking to her might not be a bad idea at this point. She could try to contact Harry in case the digimon changed her mind and attacked them, but she wasn’t sure if he would come in time to help. Marcia kept watch to see what this digimon would do next.

Ghost giggled. It seemed like everyone was understanding that she was simply far too powerful to fight, but at least she was truthful in that she intended to not harm anyone. But that didn't mean she would just leave.
"Oh, don't worry your little heads clean off. Again, I won't hurt you. I just want to kill some time before Mistress gets back. I normally don't play with ones so young but I could expand my horizons!
Or maybe because I'm just bored and I don't feel like looking for other people, maybe? I mean, what are you guys doing? Playing tag? Hide and seek? Truth or dare? Tell meeeee!"

Yui was still holding her little digimon..giving the digimon a concerning look. She wasn't so sure how much she trusted this individual....and she was even less sure she wanted h er twins to play a game with her..."My sister and I were playing hide and seek." said Pop, giving her a defiant look. Loli however, couldn't seem to get words to come out of her mouth. Yui wasn't quite sure what to do though, and instead just backed away slowly. She was also getting worried they might start drawing too much attention...which owuld be quite a negative thing.
"What is fun about scaring baby digimon? That isn't something you should do because you are bored!" she said, glaring at the digimon...which in hindsight might not be the best approach, but she was just so protective of the little ones! They were special to her, she didn't want them hurt or scared.

Marcia really was finding this situation awkward and uncomfortable. The strange digimon said that she really won’t hurt them, but she rather not be around her. Still, she didn’t want to do something to upset her and she changed her mind. She just stood there and listened to the digimon, trying not to show fear, but was obviously uncomfortable. Suki was listening carefully to the digimon. She was still shaken up by her scary voice, but she can tell that she was really just bored and curious. This made her really curious about her intentions. She wished that she didn’t start by scaring them, but maybe she was just misunderstood.
So Suki hopped out of Marcia’s arm and on the ground. “Suki? What are you doing?” Marcia said nervously.
Suki hopped closer to Ghost, still shivering a bit. “Umm…Do you really want to play with us?” Suki asked her. She really hope that her instincts were correct.

"Of course scaring babies isn't fun. At least, once you reach a certain threshold. Like, maybe one good spooking. But after that, no, no real pleasure out of it.
I do this as a hobby, I would like to think I put more thought into these things than not at all."
Ghost stared back at Yui with a particular look. One that hinted at Ghost's devious nature, and yet friendly enough to give the human at least an ear to her complaints. She wasn't completely ignoring her.
Suki had then came up and, although frightened, asked her if she really did want to play.
"If certain people don't have this notion that they're too good to have me play with their digimon, they I would have to leave.
But without Mistress there's nothing to doooooo..." Ghost whined. Powerful she may be, she, too, was a child.

Yui was still frowning, arms crossed, but sighed. At least at this point she didn't seem directly dangerous. At least not that she was planning to kill her babies or anything. She turned to look down at her digimon, who were looking up at her. "Do you two want to play with her?" she asked, she would let it be their decision. They stopped and thought for a moment....Loli didn't say much, just looked at Ghost. Pop however, turned and looked back up. "If she plays nice, I want to. If she really just wants to play, I don't see why not." he said, as Yui smiled and put the twins back down.
"Well then, I won't stop you. But I will watch." Yui said as she stepped back, letting her digimon take it from here. Pop led the way, with timid Loli staying behind him nervously. He approached Ghost and looked at her. "We don't think we are too good for you first off. But we don't know you and what you did was kind of mean. But, if you want to play, we will let you play. Everyone should have fun." he said, flashing her a smile.

Suki was bouncing up and down happily. She was glad that everyone was getting along and want to play each. "Yay! I'm so happy that finally play together." She then try to remember how hide and seek goes. "So...if I remember, one person is 'it' and everyone else has to hide. Who wants be 'it'." Sulu asked.
Marcia, getting noticeably less uncomfortable having Ghost around. Still, she really hope that she doesn't do any mischievous. While allowing Suki to play with the others, she had just realized that she didn't properly introduce herself to Yui. She went over to the younger girl. "Excuse me. Your name is Yui, right? I apologize for not introducing myself earlier. My name is Marcia Mizuno. It's nice to meet you." She said to her, smiling.
