Gabe's Perspective
With an ear shattering howl of fury, and the powerful force caused by his Full Metal Blaze attack, Gabe's vengeance pulled through as the blast of energy burst through the shields of the Wisemon. The attack would bombard everyone below with the assault of bullets, missiles, lasers, and of course, the powerful Zeed Blast. He could feel the energy of the Wisemon seep from them as they exploded into data. The strength of the Ultimates withered away as their data spread into the air. As the attack dissipated, Gabe's eyes met the shuddering form of the fallen Houkoumon, data also rising from its lumbering form.
Much to Gabe's surprise and horror, beneath the fallen beast was a body. A corpse? No, still living. Memories of the past flooded his mind as the fallen form of Kanna, battered, bruised, and beaten lay below him. Gabe's acute hearing picked up the sound of her voice as it called for him. Gabe mutely lowered himself, gradually bringing Darian closer to his love, Gabe simply not having the audacity to speak.
Darian's Perspective
"The hell?!"
Darian's surprise was more-so overpowered by his fear as the locking sound of every single one of Gabe's active weapons clicked within his mind. Why weren't his attacks working? Why didn't he simply just blow them away? Why wasn't anything working? The attacks had never failed before, why now? It wasn't until a new voice entered the room that he knew what had happened. Craning his neck to look below them, he spotted The Kid walking with his Digivice held high, a sickening red light pouring out of it. He could almost feel the corruption emanating from the Digivice as it took control of Gabe's body.
As true fear came over him, he turned to look back at Gabe, who had now turned his own neck to snarl at his once beloved tamer. As the locking mechanism in the weapons clicked back to life, Darian awaited the split second that his life would flash before his eyes.
That was when the world "bumped", and everything flickered. Darian was shocked, just what the hell just happened? You know that feeling you get when you're sleeping when suddenly you feel yourself falling, jolting awake immediately afterwards? That was the feeling that currently enveloped Darian. As if he had just woken from a bad dream, shaken from his reality. Looking around frantically, he realized The Kid was no longer below them. Instead he could see both Wisemon once again, flickering in and out of existence as whatever was holding Darian back from seeing clearly was fading. That was when he realized that they were moving towards the Wisemon, and they had something big planned.
"GABE! WAKE UP!" Darian shouted as his Digivice began to glow a bright white light and in a flash of pure brilliance, he pulled out his last card.
Reality
Suddenly Kanna was no longer in sight as Gabe's ears rang from Darian's shout in such close proximity. In a blur what he was actually approaching turned out to be the Wisemon. As his senses returned to him, he quickly realized what had happened. Houkoumon used the very same attack that Perromon had once almost defeated him with. His bewilderment soon changed to fury as he realized just what the Wisemon were doing.
"I'm ready!"
"We'll fight together!"
In a bright flash of light the human and Digimon both disappeared. The light began to fall faster, no longer having the element of flight at their disposal. As Merukimon practically exploded out of the light of Digivolution, it was then that the Wisemon were finally able to declare their attacks.
"Pandora Dialogue!"
"Eternal Nirvana!"
Unfortunately for them, Darian still had his trump card.
"MIRROR SHIELD, ACTIVATE!"
As Merukimon dropped towards the Wisemon, both attacks released, Merukimon lowered his arms and curled up, a large shield of pure light that could reflect anything used as his cover while he descended towards the enemy. Whatever attack, whether already reflected or another attack of Wisemon's own creation were to hit the Mirror Shield, it would be instantaneously reflected right back at them. And with ZeeDGarurumon's Full Metal Blaze being part of the Pandora Dialogue at the moment, and with Merukimon in such close proximity, and getting ever closer, aversion was next to impossible.
"DODGE THIS!"
