Tweek was a lot more evasive than they thought, he dodged effortlessly Beverly's attack and went airborne, which was a blessing for the nearby people as now the fight wouldn't put anyone in risk ... or at least that's what the sistermon thought as another digimon, yet another tweek, expanded into crystals that impaled the mons and humans unfortunate enough to be close. The blood and data flowing through the site horrified the survivors of the attack and it was clear that tweek wasn't kidding when he said he had friends; Anyone in the public could be a tweek clone and nobody would be any wiser about who was who.
Fortunately, the mechanical imp was quick in organizing part of the chaos and making several of the spectators retreat away from the battlefield, and he was being assisted by Bev's canine companion. Apparently, both of them knew each other and Dianne assumed both of them were Beverly's assistants.
"Go, go, Beverly! Go and defeat this horrible villain!"
Despite the horror of the situation, the white and pink clad digimon couldn't help but cheer for their heroine Beverly. In front of this murderer, she was their only hope, and even if she tried to take over the city, she was now protecting them from the horror of this terrorist. And apparently her cheers were contagious, as some digimon who weren't panicking also started to cheer for the super mega, wishing that she stopped the evil Tweek

"I dunno Bev, do you think this is a bit cliche? I'd like to think I'm being original but I'd love your opinion too~", he asked from the air, very naunchalaunt in post, licked back a bit legs crossed. It almost seemed he didn't need those wings from the way he was posing.
Meanwhile the other Tweek involved in combat retracted his spikes after the attack on Bev failed, and it didn't even seem like he tried to avoid the supermega's attack. He seemed unphased, standing there having returned to his preferred blue visage. His face at first solemn but as he was dragged down that familiar smirk returned to his face.
His actions were oddly more sporadic than she'd probably remember from their previous intractions.. well it was mostly each of their actions, individually they were all acting, normal but the didn't seem to be working toward the same goal... or so it seemed.
As she probably expected he evaded her next attack as well, putting a bit more flair into it this time. As it shot toward him his body split and spread forming a large ring though which the BlackImperialdramon would pass not even grazing him. "Okay cliche or not come on Bev this is getting boring, throw something interesting at me at least!", he groaned in midair a dramatic wrist to his forehead.
Meanwhile in the crowd, Garm and Burst seemed to be doing a good job pushing people back, the crowd a bit wary to be anywhere near them now... though, due to their chatter, someone would head a familiar name... ".....Garm?", he sneered.
Should he?~

Once Ghost missed her attack, she jumped back, fading away. He may have not been a good fighter, but he was certainly evasive. Even if she could go all out, she would need to choose her attacks wisely, lest she waste time and energy just missing him.
Someone had cheered her on, a sistermon. Without turning too much, the Galaclivamon motioned away from the fight. "Just get to safety, alright?"
Noticing that the people were a good distance away, she decided to try something else. A thick fog began to form around them quickly. As it did so, it would become harder for him to move through as long as he remained within range, even if he transformed. It would also become harder to see for both parties.
But Beverly could move freely through the fog, and she could tell where Tweek was. Now to just pick the right moment to strike...

"That evil guy is really dodgy and annoying"
Seriously, this felt more like a staged fight than an actual fight. All of Bev's attacks were missing, and for every miss, the vile Tweek always poked fun at her. Yet, the sistermon didn't lose hope and eagerly awaited for the moment she could finally shut up that jerk and bring peace to this place.
Said that, maybe staying there to cheer wasn't really a good idea, as Beverly requested her and the others to retreat, and she complied with her request as the more room she had, the more free she was to use her most devastating attacks on this shapeshifting menace. And behold, she indeed used something that might prove itself to be useful, some sort of fog that cloacked both Bev and Tweek from the eyes of the spectators. Hopefully, she would gain the upper hand she needed now as this villain would with luck have a hard time seeing her attacks

Tweek knew his own combat style very well. He was not one to huge amounts of damage like most digimon, instead he was very good at not getting hit and waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The issue was he could also not take a lot of damage. For this reason his skills at avoidance were honed to a tee.
The fog that covered the area did not even seem to phase him, and in fact he would then land and close his eyes, retracting his wings. "I thought you knew me better Beverly... Am I the only one trying to make this friendship work?", he asked pompously into the fog, waiting a moment. "I mean, you know what I'm starting to think, you wanted this to happen. You wanted something to break out at your deceleration of power. You probably hoped for a better confrontation than I'm providing though, I mean I will admit I'm not really trying to win. Does that disappoint you?"
He would form something between his fingers, waiting, seeming to not be able to see around him due to the attack. The other Tweek meanwhile, waited in his otherworldly prison, not struggling or attempting to get out any faster.
"You can deny it all you want my dear but I know on some level you were just dying for something like this to happen. Something... interesting..."

"Oh cripes you're so full of crap it's unreal..."
Beverly would head straight for Tweek. When she got close enough, she stopped. Of course, he would know she was in front of him, but with the fog he wouldn't be able to evade her as easily.
"Such nonsense..."
Beverly then performed her Chaos Revolution attack. Said attack would leave a decent sized crater, as she would have surrounded herself with swirling energy to destroy this copy of Tweek.
Once that was done, Beverly cleared out the fog, flying to solid ground. This was getting annoying...

With the fog on, there was little the spectators could see of the battle. Hell, given how much they moved away from the combatants, they could barely hear what they were saying, that's it, if they talked at all and they didn't mistake what other spectators were saying for what Bev and Tweek said.
Fortunately, the fog didn't last very much and when it was removed, all the people could see was a huge crater. Some fog still lingered in the ground zero of whatever force caused it, but probably they would be able to see if tweek was erased or not by it once the rest of the fog dissipated

The fog was, strangely restricting, but it all really didn't matter to him. He remained there with his eyes closed, playing with something in his fingers. "Whatever you say Bev, whatever you say", and those would be his last words it seemed.
The supermega rushed at him and still now he didn't move, not until the moment the attack began. He threw his arms up as the blast spread and was quickly annihilated. He exploded on death but his own burst was nullified by Chaos Revolution, not effecting much except making the crater a bit lopsided.
Was that it then? The clones had been destroyed, 4 by her count it seemed. Could he make more?
The fog cleared, and silence ensued for a moment. The crowd had mostly fled, half a city block was in tatters. It was then it might hit her, a small shard from above. Nearly invisible as it was made of ice. Silent by design. What was it? A planned attack from the grave. Tweek had formed a single shard of ice and tossed it up just at the moment of his death, and if he timed it right it would have hit her. An opening, an opportunity.
It probably wouldn't even hurt her that much, just a prick, no poison no after effects, just a sharp shard from the heavens.
A farewell gift.

Beverly sighed. She knew Tweek was still out there, but killing off several clones of his was a bit cathartic.
Something then struck her head before she quickly grabbed an object... a shard of ice. She looked around, seeing if she saw another clone before crushing the shard.
"Asswipe..." she muttered to herself.
Well, so much for this event. Tweek was always making a mess of things. And certainly he had some ulterior motive for being all "supportive" to Bev's takeover.
While there was some panic, there didn't seem to be any more issues from Tweek for the moment... She was hesitant to consider herself free of his presence.
But there was something else... what now? What should she do? Perhaps she would feel out things and see what's happening. But right now...
"I need a drink..."

It finally happened, Tweek, at least the one they thought was the last tweek, was no more. The people who still remained near the battle site got closer to see what happened and indeed, there was nothing left of that crazy psycho.
"Is he finally gone for real?"
The sistermon asked, looking around for any signal of somebody trying to stip troubles. And while this was suppossed to be a moment of great victory, the people around the crater was still worries, wondering if there was another tweek between them. Such worry was big enough that for a moment, they forgot that the super mega in front of them was trying to takeover the city

The relative quiet was unnerving, but Beverly tried to push aside such feelings. The crowd still seem worried as well.
With a wave of her hand, a cell phone had appeared. And then, she gave a long whistle as she grabbed her phone. Garm performed a long leap towards Bev's position in response to the whistle.
"Please make sure everything is alright and people get home safely. I need to make a few phone calls. And when I'm done I want you to make the strongest alcoholic beverage my club can muster."
Garm nodded, and Beverly gave him a kiss before he went back into the crowd.
Meanwhile, Burst met back up with the Sistermon, rubbing the back of his head.
"I'm not sure. Cripes I would not have expected something like this. Then again... perhaps I should have..."

And then, the silence broke out. The people was discussing about if it was safe now to give a closer look to the battle site while others returned to talk about the whole thing that started all: Bev's take over. And then where were a few who were trying to start a witch hunt, looking for somebody who might be tweek because they couldn't be sure enough that he left; and Beverly herself seemed to be looking for tweek for she produced a cellphone, or simply was calling somebody, they couldn't tell.
As for the sistermon, her question aimed at nobody in particular was answered by the mechanical imp of before.
"I think nobody would've expected something like this; and I wonder if she" she said pointing at Beverly "Knows if that jerk is gone, she seemed to be able to detect him before"

The sistermon said that no one would have expected this, but while Burst figured she was right for the most part, Burst made himself an exception... part of the reason Beverly turned down the role of leader of Rustport was for fear of ones who would harm the people to get to her.
Burst has began walking towards Beverly, turning briefly to the Sistermon and saying, "Well, no better digimon to ask but the Lady herself"
Beverly was a bit in thought, as well as "scanning" the nearby area with her telekinesis and seeing if Tweek was nearby in some hidden area... not the best way of checking, but she picked up nothing nonetheless. Right as she was about to call someone, she saw Burst come over.
"Sorry your, uh... take-over went... not so smooth..."
"I expected a rocky start. I would have chosen a riot against me than have Tweek pop up..."

"Yeah, you are right"
Indeed, there was no better way to know if tweek was gone than to ask to the one who knew him the best. Because she had nothing better to do, she followed this mechanical imp towards Beverly, he sure was quite gutsy to get near her so casually despite he was just a bystander like everybody else.
Or maybe ... he was no mere bystander, he did talk with the governor to be and she answered to him as if they knew each other to some degree and further confirmed that not even she expected the evil Tweek to appear.
"Excuse me, do you know if the area's safe now?"
She asked, wondering if Beverly could guarantee the safety of the civilians now that the battle was over, yet for what little they knew about tweek, he could still be hidding for a surprise attack.

The safety of the people... Indeed, Beverly wanted to be certain of that herself.
"I'm mostly certain Tweek is gone now."
"So you can't scan him or anything like that?"
"Not exactly. I can use my telekinesis to, for lack of a better term, pressure-test someone, and while I can do that for clear areas, the crowd I'm... less certain about doing. Last thing I want is to panic people when they feel their body pressurize for a few seconds. Ghost has a more certain method but it's only by touch. And aside from that... I just have my experiences with him to maybe call him out.
Still... I have my reasons and gut feeling that tell me that he's probably gone for now."
"Well, what are you going to do about him?"
Beverly summoned Ghost again, this time appearing as a BlackImperialdramon... an odd one at that, as one looking at her could see faint shadows emanating from her body. After a few moments, she wordlessly flew off, taking off like a bullet when she got far enough away from the others.
"I don't want this to become a witchhunt, and Tweek is unmatched in his ability to hide and scheme. So I have someone in mind who will tend to him for me. It'll be another big favor I owe to who I have in mind but now's not the time to worry about that."
"Alright then... I trust you with this, Beverly... all things considered I can see why you had..."
"No, no please don't mention that around her... I'm trying to keep that a..."
"Do you want these people's respect or not? You've always told me that you held mutual respect of subordinates and leaders above almost everything else! It won't help much but you kinda just attempted to take over this city. You're going to need all the support and respect you can get!"
Burst was stern, but familiar with Beverly as she looked to the side, in thought.
"Come on, Bev... Let me at least help you out, alright?"
