Isaac and Elliot shot each other matching unsure looks as this situation continued to escalate. When Matthew mentioned a lab, they were kind of hoping that he was talking about a more personal lab. Whatever they were expecting, it wasn't an entire classroom full of inquisitive students. Students that likely didn't even have their own Digimon, either. The chef was one thing, he was just kind of an inevitable witness to an egg hatching in the middle of a restaurant. This, one the other hand, was the secret spreading far too much, far too quickly. By now Elliot and Isaac were too wrapped up in all of this to say anything, though. What were they going to do? Kick up a fuss in front of a room full of students? If one of them took issue, they were all far bigger than the two brothers.
"I really do not think this is a good idea," Elliot said, hesitantly, as the group of students dispersed. "I mean, he is pretty clearly a living creature with feelings. Who was just born a few minutes ago. Is this really how you want to welcome him into the world?" Briefly, Elliot imagined a human baby being born, and then immediately having a ton of diagnostics run on it by a bunch of excitable college students. It just wouldn't be right! Why did him being a Digimon make it any different?
Isaac, on the other hand, decided to put an end to this line of questioning once and for all. He was not about to start transforming in the middle of a crowded place, no matter how much this guy kept shaking him down about it. "Look, it is a really personal matter, okay?" Isaac asked. "All this has been a lot stress for us over the last week. If we were to try and show everything, it would just be way more headache than we need to deal with. I am not going to dance around the subject. I am just going to end it here and now. Maybe we will show you later. But this is not the right time, and this really is not the right place." He tried his best to not just snap at the older man out of irritation, but it was hard when that was practically his default reaction to an older man completely disregarding him. Instead, he tried to keep his tone neutral and focused. If push came to shove he would act on his promise, but not here and now.
