Charlotte smiles to Elliot's response. Sure she worried about getting separated from her brother and sister, but being alone with such a kind cheerful and thoughtful person didn’t seem so bad. Her cheeks became even more red and she stuttered ' I am not worried. I am just concerned about my brother. He is … really… rebellious with… sis around… we better… I don’t know, be more careful.' Her words barely made it out of her mouth, like a visible winter breath. It seems more like an internal monologue than actually talking to Elliot. As the last words were spoken she gripped his hand a bit tighter. She was worried or just shy? Even she couldn’t react properly to her feelings. A little down the road Aurie was trying to distract George long enough to get him to the platform. ' I'll get you ice cream when we get to the park.' Says as George extends his leg to make a girl walking near him to trip. Aurie sees it in time and pulls him up. ' You are not allowed to trip people. Do you even know…' before she could finish her sentence her brother tried picking something off the floor. ' George!! Don’t do that! What's wrong with you today. ' shouts as she tries to keep an eye on Elliot and Charlotte. George was never the prankster-y boy and was most of the times serious and dependable, but when Charlotte wasn’t there his actions were, lets just say, inconsistent. After a torturous walk near the busy crowd they arrive in the platform and wait for the train. ' Alright, now that all of us are here let's try and wait calmly and responsibly for the train to come.' Three seconds later she sees the train approaching. ' That was convenient. Oh, well just go with it. Alright everybody on board. Next stop Fun in Yoyogi Park' says Aurie cheerfully.

Elliot understood that concern. When they were younger Isaac was a massive pain. He sobered up a lot after the divorce, but before their father left he seemed to almost delight in causing headaches. Now, just a few years later, he had grown into a thoughtful and mature young man. It was surely just a phase, one that George would hopefully grow out of sooner rather than later. The main thing was that it would take time. Everyone handled that kind of phase at their own pace, some moving past it quickly and others lingering within it well into their teens. Growing up could be a real mixed bag sometimes. However, there was something about what Charlotte said that left Elliot a little confused. "Be careful?" He didn't let his pranks get too out of hand, did he?
As Elliot turned around to check for Aurie, he promptly noticed George trying to trip somebody. That must have been what Charlotte meant. Elliot was afraid it might only get worse when the four of them were crammed onto a tight, crowded train. "I'll be sure to keep careful," he assured her. If only she knew all of the crazy stuff he had to keep careful about on a daily basis. If he didn't keep careful, he could've been press-ganged into servitude by a tank. Or drained of his life force by a ghost in a haunted graveyard. Or left stranded in an abandoned lab, or an ancient temple. No matter how hard he tried to escape it all, it seemed danger loved following him around and waiting for him to slip up. If he wasn't careful, he'd be dead. Surely a kid his age would be far less trouble than all of those, right?
"So what kind of stuff do you like to do for fun?" Elliot asked, hoping to start easing Charlotte out of her shyness. She seemed really nice, and he would've been happy to get to know her better!

Charlotte tried to come up with an answer to Elliot's question, but nothing really came to mind. She didn't do a lot of stuff that were fun. At least bit what most think of fun anyway. She insisted on going to the park, because she loves just sitting under a tree with her eyes closed and soak in the sunlight and the not so stinky fresh air. ' Well I do like going to the park and have a picnic.' she whispered. ' and manga… painting also.' she pushed herself to say those little words as she took her hand and untied her ponytail. Her velvet black hair started falling down, like snowflakes on a winter morning, on her shoulders. Her black hair covered part of her face. Charlotte couldn’t understand why she was so shy around Elliot. He was kind and thoughtful towards her from the moment she met him and the only thing she has done was to barely talk and pay any attention to him. She immediately thought that he will think that she is being rude and capricious. ' I am…. Sorry. I…. I am…. Being huh… so rude, I didn't meant anything by it ' stutters as she holds his hand a bit tighter than normal people would. Aurie had her hands full with George who even though had been more quiet. This was due to the lack of movement, since he was sitting on Aurora's lap. Even that being true, everybody, especially Aurora, knew that even more trouble was brewing. ' George please wait until we get to the park in order to do whatever it is you think it will be funny for everybody else too. If you do that for me I'll give you a very special present! ' says trying to temp him by bribing him and showering him with compliments. ' I promise nothing.' says and then he leans towards Aurora's ear. 'But since Charlotte isn't afraid to hit me, I'll be on my best behavior.' whispers to her. Even though he liked causing trouble, when his twin gets really gets cross with him there is no object that can hide him from her wrath. She may seem calm, collected and shy but irritate her enough and you will wish you better face a giant dinosaur. But this side was well shut. Even George hasn’t actually seen it yet. Charlotte has tells when she gets furious. The cold look on her face is one. George has seen it once when he and Aurie tried pulling a prank on her with her canvass. Her eyes lost every niceness she had. Aurora wasn’t on the room and George managed to warn her before she actually got paint all over her clothes. Since then he is being more cautious with her around. Few minutes on the train Aurie saw Elliot and Charlotte talking to each other, at least Elliot was talking and Charlotte was whispering. Charlotte is quite the introvert, I hope Elliot gets her out of her she'll a bit. It's not a good idea to be so lonely, thinks as she was keeping an eye to George trying to understand his next move, but since the other two were on sight near them he would be able to stay put for now. As that was happening the train arrived at the station they were going for the park and Aurie nodded towards Charlotte and Elliot to get off the train and walk towards the park. She double checked Moonmon sleeping in her bag cautiously, trying to conceal her from her little brother.

"Those sound really fun!" Of course, before being able to ask more, the girl immediately started apologizing. Elliot smiled reassuringly at the girl. Why was she apologizing to him? It wasn't her fault she was caught in a somewhat awkward situation. They were out as a family before, and now she was stuck holding hands with a relative stranger while her brother started acting out on the other side of the room. Anybody would be kind of bashful in that type of situation! Still, right now he figured if there was anything he could do to feel better, he would. Seeing kind people upset always hurt the boy a little.
"No need to worry about it! You're not being rude at all. Just a bit shy. I'm shy around a lot of people too. Anything I can do help?" He knew from personal experience that there was no magic cure-all for shy people. Maybe if he could get her own personal ideas, like "please stop talking" or "tell me more about yourself," he'd be able to find where her comfort zone was.
Well, besides one thing. Her hobbies sounded really fun, and painting in particular stood out in a major way. As someone at the same age, the most Elliot could do was scribble! The fact that she painted enough to make it a whole hobby sounded so cool! "I'd love to see your painting sometime! If you're okay with it, of course." Maybe that would be the trick to help her out of her shell. Or maybe such a bold request would just send her running right back into it. Elliot wasn't always the best at this, but at least he tried.

Charlotte was baffled. How could such an calm and collected person being shy. They did have a lot in common. She blushed to his comment but she was glad for the more common things they shared even though they were strange. The one thing that really caught her off-guard was his next statement and question. Elliot seeing her painting? There was no reason to make him suffer that kind of torture. Her painting was not bad, but horrible. George describes them as someone throwing his paint buckets on a canvass and calling it art. It hurt her feeling, but he knew he was just being honest and not judgmental. ' My... my paintings... I am not good... at least my brother doesn't think so.. ' stutters as she her cheeks became fiery red from embarrassment. ' I go to classes... and stuff... but I am not really good... I just like it... and I... feel ... really nice, when I paint clouds... flowers and other small stuff.' Her voice was barely audible. Aurora had seen most of her painting and always encouraged her to continue saying she was a genius, but Charlotte knew she was being overly supportive and too bubbly to think of it as a real opinion. ' Do you... uuummmm, paint Elliot?' asks trying to push the spotlight off her.
Aurora was having an awesome time giggling and cheering inside her own head with none of those emotions showing on her face. Seeing Charlotte talking, ok more like whispering, made her inner body light fireworks as she achieved the cure for the common cold. She was so happy she finally find someone to talk besides her nuisance of a brother. Sure George was honest and cared about her, but his mischievous side made him unbearable at times. I'll let this continue, since both of them are having fun and its better since I am going to have to devote my full attention to George. I need to teach him the harmless more fun prank way. He is getting out of control and someone is going to get hurt, monologuing to herself. As she was thinking that they finally made it to the park Entrance. The cherry blossom trees and the ginko tree forest was beautiful during autumn and Alicia and Aurie went there sometimes to study for their exams. Unfortunately for Aurie George noticed her weakened grip on him and he released himself from the clutches of his bubbly, but evil half-sister. ' I am free at last!' Seeing Charlotte was too distracted by this new kid he run inside the park. ' Time for hide and seek George style!! I hide and prank people and you try to stop me Wooooo!!!' Before he got away, Aurie snapped into action and caught him a few meters down the entrance road. 'Found you!' says as she imitates a evil guys laugh. ' Now you will stay with me or I WILL sent you home this time. I am not joking. Your pranks starts to get out of hands mister. I told you harmless fun is fine but you take it too far. I am going to tell your mother. and you know what happens when she finds out you were a nuisance to your big sister, huh?' says Aurie. The moment George heard mother, he immediately froze like a statue. He knew that if mother found out he will get punished for his actions. Not violence but disappointing stares during dinner, his favorite games banned for a week, and most importantly no more trading cards for a month!!! He snapped out of it and grabbed Aurora's hand. ' You win... This time..' said utterly defeated. 'witch' whispered so his bigger sister didn't hear it. ' Oh yes I am witch, little bro. A big scary one at that. You know nothing George Williams!' says Aurie as she smiles with her victory in hand. At that time she turns towards Elliot and Charlotte. 'Sorry for all that. Elliot what do you say we go see the Meiji Shrine at the other side of the park. Sound fun?' says and smiles waiting for his answer to decide what they will do next.

Elliot smiled gently upon hearing that the painting at least made Charlotte happy. When it came to hobbies, that was really the important part. Why would you do something you didn't love, after all? Now all the girl needed was some encouragement, and encouragement was what Elliot did best! Sometimes. "I'm really glad it makes you happy! And if you love what you're doing, there's no way it could come out badly, right? Your brother's probably just messing with you. Mine used to mess with me all the time. It's just what they do. So don't let him get you down and make you feel sad about it. I just know you do a great job!" He still remembered the steadily escalating boasting sessions he and Isaac had during their games of kickball. It was some of the tiniest, most adorable trash talking in the world! Of course, that all came to an end that day when he slipped and ended up messing up his leg.
Elliot started feeling a little bit sad at the memory.
Thankfully, there was a convenient topic change, allowing Elliot to kick that thought to the curb and focus on more important stuff. "I don't. Doubt I'd have the coordination for it even if I tried. Most I've done is a bit of doodling from time to time. I've been trying to learn how to cook lately, though!" That counted as art, right? Alicia would definitely argue that it was, as well as that it was probably one of the best forms. And Elliot would be lying if he said that the beautiful food wasn't one of the things he loved most about Japan so far. It was just one of those little things that kept him going day by day.
Then Aurie updated the group as to where they were going. Back when he figured this was a vacation, being to the Digital World so often really robbed him of his chance to go sightseeing. Now would finally be his chance! "That sounds great! I've never had the chance to visit yet," Elliot said, an eager look in his eye.

Charlotte's heart starting beating faster. Just liked when she paints, or when she gets her hands on a new issue on her favorite manga. ' I really do like it. Maybe... I don't know.. could ... show them to you.... if you want to.. or.. whatever...since more opinions couldn't hurt. My sister says they are... really good, but she is... my sister so... yeah.' and smiles as the red on her cheeks starts to retreat and her heart starts beating slower. She started letting her guard around Elliot. She felt safe. She even relaxed her grip and got a little closer to Elliot.
Aurora saw Charlotte having a nice time, as they were walking through a small path in the park. In order to snap them back to reality she shouts towards them who were walking in front of them. 'Hey sis! Tell him about the shrine. Elliot would love to hear it from you.' Aurora quickly says and grabs George's hand. ' You stay quiet and if you are an obedient little brother I am going to let you play Hide and seek George style, but harmless edition, you hear?' notes as a big smile forms on George's face. ' I accept witch-sis. Pinky swear on it?' in order to make it official between them she had to pinky swear. Well when Aurie said something she meant it. She grabs his pinky and shakes it. ' Pinky swear. You know me. I never go back on my word little bro.' As Aurora was calming down her brother Charlotte knew a couple of things about the shrine but not much. whatever she learned from the internet mostly and as she and Elliot walked towards the Shrine complex she started mentioning some thing. ' The shrine is dedicated to of course the Emperor Meiji and his wife Shoken. Hmmm... their actual graves though are in Kyoto of course... Hmmmm.. Its divided into... two sections the Naien and Gaien sections.. Huh... Sis.' turns her head and tries to talk to Aurora who was trying to probably teach a harmless prank to George for later. ' Can you come and be tour guide please? Je ne sais plus! S'ill vous plait? Je ne suis pas bon a cette chose explication. (I don't now anymore! Please? I am not good at this explanation thing).
Aurie started walking towards the cute couple and stared talking as a tour guide. "This area is covered by an evergreen forest that consists of 120,000 trees of 365 different species, which were donated by people from all parts of Japan when the shrine was established. The forest is visited by many as a recreation and relaxation area in the center of Tokyo. As for the section, as always Charlotte is correct. The Naien is the inner precinct, which is centered on the shrine buildings and includes a treasure museum that houses articles of the Emperor and Empress. The Gaien is the outer precinct, which includes the Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery that houses a collection of 80 large murals illustrative of the events in the lives of the Emperor and his consort. That conclude the info i sponged from Kairi when she brought me the first time here. Anyway where do you want to head first? Towards the Gaien or Naien? Your choice Elliot.' says Aurie as trying to encourage him on what he wanted to see. This was mostly for his benefit and making him want to stay here in Tokyo after all. It's good for him to take the lead once or twice. This is his stroll too.

The grip on Elliot's hand was finally loosened up. Blood was starting to circulate through again, and no longer were his bones in danger of being cracked in half. Okay, that was probably a huge exaggeration, but Elliot was still amazed at just how tight the girl's grip was. Right now, though, he was just really happy that Charlotte was feeling more comfortable. "I'd love to see them, Charlotte," he promised, a serene smile on his face.
Then came Aurie, and with her came descriptions of the shrine from both sisters. He listened with rapt attention to the various details, amazed at both the history and the beauty of the place. Both parts of the shrine sounded really cool, and he couldn't pick which one he wanted to see more first. Of course, when the question was put on his shoulders, it wasn't like he had any say in the matter. Any attempt at passing the buck would likely get the question thrown right back on him. If only Isaac, the superior decision-maker of the two, was here. He'd have all of this sorted out in no time.
"The Gaien. If you guys want to see that first, of course," he finally decided. See? That wasn't so bad! He waited for Aurie to take the lead, figuring that she would best know the path around the area. Besides, he didn't want to move too fast. He was still buddied up with Charlotte, after all, and making sure she was following along hand-in-hand was of priority. Wait, did they even still need to be holding hands? Elliot wasn't really sure how this buddy system setup worked.
Sometimes, Elliot could be one naive blockhead.

As soon as the destination was announced Aurie started walking towards the path she and Kairi took among the trees to get to Gaien. Sure it's not so beautiful since it's not autumn yet, but the trees were providing a refreshing shade. In front of her George was walking slowly since he was able to negotiate his game without getting in trouble or being a pain in the butt for everyone. He didn’t pay any attention to the others in the group but he didn’t walk faster so he could get out of sight. Aurora notices Charlotte and Elliot still holding hands. Charlotte seemed to enjoy her outing more and more. Oh gosh they look so cute holding hands let's not ruin it for them. Thinks to herself. She makes a couple of big steps and catches up to George. She extends her hand and says to him. ' I am feeling lonely. Hold my hand to feel better?' Her tone was really whiny like a five year old girl who didn’t have the chance to make her parents buy her ice cream. George looks at her and raises his left eyebrow. ' No wonder you are single. You are so needy sis…' says sighing and extending his arm grabbing her hand. ' How can anyone enjoy anything when you need constant pamper…. Oww!What was that for?' complains as Aurie slaps him lightly in the back of his head. ' That’s for calling me spoiled. And be nice to people. It's a good change of pace. Selling the bad boy thing isn't bad, but you need to be more discreet with the ladies' comments as she smiles and the continue onwards.
Charlotte saw Aurora and Elliot walking ahead of them. She really can't understand how her bigger sister manages to calm him down. Sure he was a gentleman around her at all times cause he knew Charlotte couldn’t take any more of his pranks. Shaking the though of her twin ruining her fun she shakes the thoughts and tries to come up with something to say to this boy who looked he was having fun, with her none the least! ' Hmmm… The Gaien… It's really nice…. The paintings… are super cool… and they are really beautiful… Sometimes when sis gets us to visit… I paint there. More like sketch.. Doodle… to be honest I just scribble at the paper.' says trying to hide her shyness. Sure she wasn't the talkative girl that could wow the crowd with her public speaking, but she didn’t have that much trouble with talking with strangers or kids her same age before. She puts her hair over her ear with her free hand, mostly to do something to distract herself from this shy state. She looks to the sky and smiles.

"Wait, you get to paint while you're there?" Elliot asked, curious. Sure, she said she just kind of scribbled, but it seemed like she was selling herself way too short. Elliot bet she did a really good job while she was there! He found himself curious as to whether the stuff she worked on would still be there, but it could have been quite long since she last visited here. It likely wouldn't be around anymore, unfortunately.
He found the contrast between the two groups kind of amusing. Charlotte was so bashful and quiet, and then there were Aurie and George loudly squabbling as she gave him in the smack of the back of the head. No wonder Charlotte was sticking around him so much. Anyone would need some peace and quiet in comparison! She must have been tired out from how much more hyperactive her siblings were, especially when she seemed rather shy. He hoped he was striking a good medium of being talkative enough without being too overbearing.
"How many times have you been here before?" Elliot asked, hoping to pick a topic of conversation that the girl would be less shy about. It sounded like they got to visit often enough, judging by what Charlotte said about their past trips there.

Charlotte got confused by Elliot's question? ' What do you mean? Oh, no no. They don't give you the materials..... to paint. I just bring them.... you know, with me when we.... visit. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough on this.' says as she tries to bow with her head towards him in order to apologize. His next question was pretty vague. If she came here often. How much time is often? She and George were always here in Japan, Kyoto at first and then moved to Tokyo after her mother married again with Aurie's dad. Yeah she doesn't remember much of Kyoto, but she knows her mother was miserable there. Always sad fighting with their real father. Aurora's father worked too much yeah, but they never see them fight and their mothers mood improved considerably. Charlotte didn't have any friends besides George. All of their acquaintances were George's friends. Not hers. She got to play with them only cause she was his sister. She tried to concentrate and answer Elliot's question. 'Well kinda. Before 2 years, my sister brings us here a lot. Especially with her best friend, Kairi, or Miss Alicia from the café. They usually study... and we play... they say... its good for us... But since last year... not so much.... Aurora doesn't like it that much anymore.... But she still comes... if we insist too much.... or father demands it..... Oh this is... the torii...' says as ahead of the sits the gate like beams 'it means... we pass to a sacred ground and such... Not saying that you didn't know or something..' says as she looks away trying to compose herself. Why is her heart so unruly today?
Although Aurora and George were two steps away from them she heard what Charlotte said to Elliot. She got a little distress, only because she didn't want to spoil the mood of the stroll. Not now at least. In order to salvage the situation she turns towards the cute couple and says: 'The presence of a torii at the entrance is usually the simplest way to identify Shinto shrines. Remember though they are however a common sight at Japanese Buddhist temples too.Torii were traditionally made from wood or stone, but today they can be also made of other materials too. Inari shrines typically have many torii because those who have been successful in business often donate in gratitude a torii to Inari, kami of fertility and industry. Kami is the word for god and Inari is actually a word for Fox. So the fox god. Isn't the culture so different from the western one. These shrines are pretty impressive too. You will see. Come let's hurry up a bit. We are missing daylight people!!' says cheerfully and starts walking a bit faster George still in hand.

Elliot looked sadly at Charlotte as she recounted what she had to say. What would make Aurie so much more reluctant to go to the shrine? Was it her idea to come here, or was she just keeping a brave face for her siblings? No matter how hard he tried, the boy just couldn't wrap his head around what was going on here. Was there even anything he could say or do? Elliot wished he knew what to say to help cheer her up. The second something came to mind, he found himself already deciding on it. "If it helps, I'd be happy to come around here with you. That way you visit here even when Aurie isn't feeling okay," he offered. He liked spending time with Charlotte, and loved cheering up his friends. This would be the best of both worlds!
He tried to make his offer quick, however. After all, Aurie was about to start taking on the role of a tour guide again. It was all so interesting to Elliot. The boy was an avid learner, and he wanted to have a chance of finding out more about Japan. This was probably the best opportunity available to him. Maybe for all of the luck he and Isaac had so far, he would consider a donation at some point. Who would he even be able to thank for all of this? It was some good luck, some bad luck/ Some triumphs, some tragedies. A whole ton of fear was mixed in as well. He wished he even knew how to react to the Digital World most days.
Oh well. He'd think of that another day. For now, he couldn't wait to having a chance of seeing the shrines! He waited to see if Charlotte was comfortable with hastening their pace before moving faster. It wouldn't be easy with his bad leg, but it seemed like Aurie was trying to hurry the group along.

Aurie noticed Elliot's offer but didn't want to deny him the pleasure. It's not like he didn't want to help Also it would be a good thing for him too. Finding more friends than digital ones will help him adjust more to this whole moving thing even more. But then the unthinkable happens. Her bag starts to twitch and Moonmon's yawn was started to be loud enough to be heard from George at least. Aurora panics to the idea of explaining a talking exclamation point to her two adorable sibling but hey who would? Dammit... Quickly think of something to distract George. Yeah got it. ' Alright George let's play Hide and Seek now. You go Hide and I'll go seeking. No pranks allowed yet. Pranks get in the game after the third round. Deal?' George nods quickly. 'What are you waiting for dude? Go hi...de' Before Aurora finishes her sentence George had already vanished. 'Wow he is fast... Moonmon, you awake?' whispers as she keeps a safe hearing distance between Charlotte and Elliot. '' Yeah. I am hungry servant. What are we having for after-lunch?'' cries out in a whiny voice. Great.. She is hungry again... ' You are going to get fat if you keep eating like that. I don't know if I could even carry you the day after tomorrow.' complains silently Aurora. ' Look. Before you start ordering my royal butt around, my sibling are here and we need to keep you secret. Also there is no food nearby. You are going to have to wait.' Moonmon tries to talk back and is immediately interrupted by her partner. 'Yes. I am worthless and you need two more servants at least. I need to get you food or you will reveal yourself to the world and demand it and yada yada. You've made a lot of compromises and I know. Believe me I am thankful for them. One more wouldn't hurt right?' looks at her with her big sad ocean blue eyes and Moonmon sighs. ' Fine. But you will be slave for a week. No negotiations on this.' says strictly Moonmon. Aurie nods and seems happy to have averted another disaster. ' Alright. That's better. AAAAND 10! Here I come George. You guys want to play with us?' says speaking towards Elliot and Charlotte.
Meanwhile, Charlotte blushes to Elliot's comment and answers 'Sure. You will be watching us, but who will be watching you... Not that you can't be on your own... and stuff... but didn't your brother... told you... you know ... that Aurie..... I mean sis... is looking out for you? No offense! Please forgive me for being rude' pleads and bows her head in embarrassment for the second time in less than 2 minutes. Charlotte notices Elliot is not widening his step to catch up to the other two and she looks even more worried. ' Are you alright? Is something wrong.... I mean... you are not hurt, are you?' says with a care in her voice quite noticeable at that. ' If you want... we can stop... rest.. Oh no.' sighs and sees George rushing towards them. ' Hide and Seek sis. Aurie is seeking.. Need to hide ... BYE!!' says as he rushes near them and heads straight towards the forest tree. Aurora asks her question and Charlotte answer immediately. 'If Elliot wants to... If not... Well we can just sit... while you play... with brother... We can look at the clouds.. or trees or whatever... ' says as she looks at Elliot looking for an answer. She really wanted him to decide. He was so nice to her up until then so she wanted to return the favor. It was the least she could do.

Elliot laughed warmly at Charlotte's response. "No need to worry! You're not being rude at all," he said. It was clear Charlotte was just trying to make sure that Elliot would be okay. It was so sweet of her to think like that! Of course, he had to remember that he was still a kid, and one kind of scrawny for his age. In the Digital World he could take care of himself near-perfectly, and everyone he traveled with knew it. Okay, so Alicia still worried over him sometimes, but he was still treated with just as much respect as everyone else in your average adventuring party. To outsiders from the human world, he really was just some weak kid. They wouldn't know about the times he stared certain death in the face, or fought his heart out just to keep people safe. They'd only know that, well, he was Elliot. "Trust me. I appreciate it, but I'm pretty good at keeping an eye on myself when need be."
Then she pointed out his comparative slowness. Elliot found himself flushing, looking down at feet that didn't quite match perfectly up with one another. He fidgeted a little with his walking stick in his hand. Really, the fact that she hadn't even noticed yet was probably a really good sign! "Oh, uh, this? This is nothing. It's old. I'm fine, trust me," he muttered, voice hasty and quiet. Even after all of these years, it still hurt seeing that old wound acknowledged. What he wouldn't give to have a leg that just plain worked right again.
But hey, games! As sad as Elliot was to have the history lesson derailed, he figured he might as well go along with what the group was doing. Besides, somebody had to make sure things didn't get too chaotic! Maybe if he and Charlotte were playing, the group would be a bit more reserved. He just hoped that things would calm down a bit when they got to the actual shrine proper. "I'd love to play. How far can we go?" Elliot asked, trying to figure out where the boundaries of his potential hiding locations would be. He may not have been the fastest, but he was craftier than he looked!

Aurora got puzzled by Elliot's question and tries to remember the ground rules for their hide and seek. ' Well... we have established that crossing the torii towards the outer sectors is cheating and forbidden. Also no more that a 100 feet radius from the point we started. Trees and other hiding places are game of course. Alright I'll wait for you to hide. I wont peek promise.' She turns the other way for the to leave.
Charlotte wasn't up to the whole hide and seek much, even though Elliot wanted to play. She didn't expess her feeling but Aurie noticed her little tick. The tick she always does, barely noticable. She starts subtly cleaning her teeth with her tongue. ' Charlotte, you going to play too, right?' asks to be sure. 'Yeah.. Sure... If Elliot wants to... I'll go hide... I guess... Bye' says as she loosens her grip taking her hand back from the young man, who was keeping her a delightful company. While everything is going on, Moonmon was peeking through the bag where everyone was heading. When no one was around she finally whispers ' We can cheat, you know' whispers to Aurora. ' I can track their shadows.' continues trying to tempt her partner into an easy win. ' No worries Moonmon. I know where my siblings like to hide. But Elliot is going to be a tricky one. His leg might make him seem weak but he looks pretty confident for his situation.' Anyway lets start looking I guess. And no cheating Moonmon.' says cheerfully.
