With a name like this...(Marshal and Panzer)

The Spartan Training Grounds. Panzer had no clue what this place was, what purpose it served or knew anything about it beyond what the name implied. On second thoughts that wasn't strictly true; she did know that it was run by a Digimon called Dinohumon of course the bouncer had no clue who he was. Right now it was not the most vital thing to consider as Panzer was in a spot of bother. See on her way to the Spartan Training Grounds, that said she and her partner were only a ten minute walk away, she had been ambushed by a group of three green Digimon wielding clubs that went by the name of Goblinmon.
The initial verbal exchange between the Goblinmon and Panzer had been brief; they had been sent to "take Pagumon off Panzer's hands" for some reason and in response the German merely said no. She didn't understand why Digimon had seemed interested in her partner but she had a feeling it was to do with the Digimon that gave her Pagumon's egg. Panzer's refusal to hand her partner over had been enough to entice the Goblinmon to violence and so they attacked! Running forwards with their clubs raised! Luckily enough the three violent Digimon didn't seem like the smartest bunch of fools around. The first Goblinmon charged forward by himself telegraphing his attack easily.
Putting herself between Pagumon and the Goblinmon Panzer punished her opponent for telegraphing his attack easily side stepping his clumsy club swing. A straight left hook flew forward as the bouncer's arm shot forward like a bullet. He fist easily collided with the Goblinmon's face causing him to stagger back. Sadly Panzer was out numbered three to one and while she had managed to land a good hit on that Goblinmon..there were plenty others. Not noticing the one behind her Panzer would have been in a worse condition were it not for her partner's violent behaviour. Pagumon jumped forward and launched himself at the second Goblinmon's head biting down on his right ear hard enough to draw blood.
The wail of pain, even though it didn't actually hurt that badly, alerted Panzer to the attempted sneak attack and she spun around. Seeing the second Goblinmon grab her partner, yank him off his ear and throw him to the ground moved Panzer to action. She tackled the second Goblinmon down to the floor yet again exposing her back to attack; a weakness she rarely had to work on due to rarely being out numbered. Having knocked the second Goblinmon to the ground she punched him in the cheeks repeatedly until the first and third Goblinmon snuck up behind her. Sadly the German woman lacked her partner to intervene and was hit hard over the head by a wooden club. Feeling the impact of the club Panzer fell sideways off the second Goblinmon collapsing to the ground blood dripping from a wound on her head. With Panzer temporarily out of action Pagumon had nobody to defend her and was soon cornered by the Goblinmon.

Marshal and Coronamon were heading to the Spartan Training Grounds to get a little more work in. Coronamon's recent breakthrough to Ultimate was doing wonders for their confidence as a team, and Marshal also wanted to test out strategies with his cards to be more effective in battle. On their way there, though, they ran into an unusual sight. There seemed to be a gigantic woman fighting with a gang of Goblimon. She seemed to be defending a little Pagumon, which the gang seemed to be after for some reason. For a human fighting three Digimon, she was doing an incredible job. Unfortunately, the three of them proved to be too much for the woman, and she fell over, possibly unconscious. "We have to help!" Coronamon cried out. "Don't have to tell me that," Marshal said, pulling out his cards and Digivice. "Digi-modify! Digivolution, activate!""Coronamon Digivolve to...Firamon!"
Firamon shot into the three Goblimon with wild intensity. The three of them were blown back by his entrance, and were immediately terrified of the Digimon when he gave a menacing roar. The three of them took off running, scared out of their wits. Marshal immediately rushed to the woman's side. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked. While he checked on the woman, Firamon walked over to Pagumon, who looked like he was slightly hurt.

Pagumon, despite the fact she'd never admit, was actually concerned for the well being of her partner! But right now she was a lot more worried about herself! "Help!" The baby level Digimon did her best attempt at fighting back against the Goblinmons launching a stream of bubbles at one of the green Digimon. Sadly the bubbles were little more than an irritation to the Goblinmon "leader" as he brought his wooden club down on Pagumon's head. With Panzer incapacitated their seemed to be nobody around to save the day! That was until the very timely arrival of Marshal and Coromon. Were it not for their intervention things would have gone very badly indeed; Kidnapping (or would it be Diginapping?) was never a pleasant thing to endure.
Luckily enough whoever was in charge of the Goblinmons hadn't picked the smartest minions in the world, nor the bravest at that, and so they fled at the sight of Firamon's fiery introduction which might seem like a good thing..but Panzer still had questions to ask of the thugs that attacked her. She suddenly opened her eyes and punched the ground beneath her before jumping up to her feet. An expression of pure rage filled her face as she settled her eyes upon the fleeing Goblinmon. "Oh they are so god damn DEAD." She charged after the fleeing Goblinmon roaring at them which only served to make the fleeing Digimon run faster; sadly for them due to the difference in height and leg length Panzer managed to catch up rather easily.
She reached out, grabbed one of the Goblinmons by the scruff of their clothing and dragged them back kicking away the club he wielded. The other two Goblin Digimon just abandoned their ally as he found himself thrown before Pagumon, Marshal, Firamon and of course Panzer herself. Pagumon had, while waiting for Panzer to return, reassured Firamon that she was aokay! The young Digimon was actually more concerned about the blood on the back of Panzer's head even though she wasn't about to show it. "Ohhh you stupid human! You're meant to protect me you useless thing!" A glare from Panzer was shot towards her partner but it rapidly softened as she smiled sarcastically. "Love you too.." Then she rounded her punctuating eyes onto Marshal.
"No clue who the hell you are but thanks for the save." Direct and blunt was Panzer's style as she didn't even bother to inquire as to the names of the people who saved her; after all she had much more pressing things to focus on. "Now for this little der Scheißkerl" The lovely part of being able to speak German was that it made getting away with swearing so much easier. "Now you little boot spittle...you better tell me who put you up to this!" The cowering Goblinmon found one of Panzer's heavy boots pressing down on his chest enough to hurt and keep him there. "I don't know! Whoever put us up to this was really tall with huge wings! It was dark please don't delete me!" Unfortunately for the Goblinmon that wasn't enough for Panzer and her glare intensified. "A name you little wretch or you won't see another dawn." That wasn't a threat it was a promise.

Well this woman certainly was intense. "Whoa, now," Marshal said, walking over and trying to get her to calm down. "Let's take this nice and easy, maybe we can get some more info." He turned his gaze to the Goblimon, not angry or upset at all, just curious. "Now, can you tell us more about this guy that hired you? More about what he looked like?"
Firamon was curious about this Pagumon. It seemed to think that the Tamer was supposed to protect the Digimon. Granted, maybe it was still In-Training, but there was only so much a human could do against Digimon, especially once you got past the Rookie level. Firamon just gave the little Digimon a quizzical look.

Tch was this stranger really trying to take the diplomatic approach? Fine let him waste his time and breath. "The diplomatic method's a waste of damn time. The only thing this little beast will understand is some good old fashioned blood." Perhaps Panzer's desire to use violence was due to her own emotional state but really it would most definitely work. She sat down on the ground and looked around for her back pack further enraged to see it had gone missing in the scuffle somewhere. She looked around concerned and irritated well aware of how dangerous her head wound could be if it were untreated; she was already feeling a little woozy due to the blood loss after all.
Luckily enough in a rare show of concern Panzer's partner, of course Pagumon would claim she was doing it for her own benefit, hopped along dragging Panzer's backpack with her but struggling a little. The in-training Digimon had pretty much ignore Firamon but that was due to the fact her attention was focused on something else at least that was the excuse she'd give. "Thanks fluff ball" She took the backpack from her partner's mouth, opened it and pulled out a roll of bandages, a pack of antiseptic wipes and a pair medical scissors. The German woman, well aware of how much this was going to hurt, took one of the anti-septic wipes and began cleaning her wound.
For Panzer it hurt rather a lot and so she clenched her teeth wiping away any dirt or germs that had someone gotten into the wound before throwing away the bloody wipe. Her wound still stung as she wrapped the roll of bandages around it using the scissors to cut off how much she needed. A few moments later she had packed up her medical supplies bandage wrapped around her head wound. If her head wound wasn't bad enough her eye was starting to throb at the worst possible time. Shoving her hands back into the back pack she took a bottle of pills out then swallowed one whole; without any water.
While this had been happening the Goblinmon had remand silent looking between Panzer and Marshal pondering his options. A growl ushered between Panzer's clenched teeth was enough to break the Goblinmon's silence and so he spoke. "Look I don't know! All I know was that he had wings, horns and claws!" Sadly that wasn't enough for Panzer and so she stood up marching towards the Goblinmon. "Is that really all you know?...Fine I'm going to give you a deal and you'd better accept it...I'm going to let you go but in return you're never going to show your ugly face around here hear me? If I ever catch word of you being within ten meters of this place I shall personally hunt you down. Got it?"" The Goblinmon nodded, was let go and fled as fast as his little legs could carry him.

Man, this lady was hardcore. Marshal made a mental note to not get on her bad side. He watched as the Goblimon ran off, terrified. Firamon sighed and reverted back to Coronamon.
"Well, all's well that ends well, I suppose," he sighed. "Name's Marshal, by the way. This is my partner, Coronamon." Coronamon waved quietly.
"Glad we were able to help," he said curtly.

With her wounds bandaged, Pagumon saved and the Goblinmon having fled there was little in the way of Panzer's reason for being here. She bent down onto one knee and extended her arm for her partner to use as an impromptu bridge which she gratefully accepted. Pagumon hopped onto Panzer's hand, up her arm before coming to rest upon her right shoulder somehow managing to stay on there. The German Tamer turned her gaze towards the entrance to the actual training grounds of the Spartan Training Grounds well aware of what her next step would be. However before that she had to wrap up a few loose ends with Marshal here.
"Hello Marshal and Coronmon. I'm Panzer and this is my partner." She shrugged her right shoulder indicating that Pagumon should introduce herself; laziness was not something the German female accepted. "I'm Pagumon! The real brains behind this operation!" Panzer dismissively rolled her eyes making it rather clear that wasn't the case but she was not going to argue the point. "I'm grateful for your assistance. Now I must take my leave." Picking her backpack up off the ground Panzer turned around and began walking towards the training grounds wooden gates. She planned to enter those grounds for the sole sake of training her partner; as today showed Pagumon was by no means able to defend herself.

Marshal and Coronamon watched as Panzer and Pagumon made their way over to the Spartan Training Grounds. Realizing that they were supposed to be going there in the first place, Marshal quickly ran up behind Panzer. "Hold on!" he shouted. "We're actually heading that way, ourselves. Maybe you'd like to train with us?"
Coronamon sighed. He was hoping for some seriously intense training today, not to play-spar with some In-Training. How was he ever supposed to reach the next level? He quietly trudged along behind Marshal.

Panzer stopped, turned around and stood straight in a highly militaristic fashion. She was surprised to hear that Marshal and his partner wanted to train with Panzer and her partner mainly because training with her was not a gentle thing. "You want to train with me? As you wish. Your first lesson starts now." Then she threw a punch fully attempting to break Marshal's nose with a good clean punch...except she stopped inches away from his face. "That is your first lesson. Training with me is not a pleasant experience." She lowered her fist and continued walking towards the Spartan Training Grounds. As far as she was concerned Marshal had an idea of how intense training with her was; whether he was still eager for it or not mattered not the Panzer.
She slammed her fist down hard on the gate waiting patiently for a response. At first there was nothing and then finally the gate opened as Dinohumon answered it. The green Digimon looked down at the visitors before him wondering why on Earth they were here. "We wish to train." It was a simple statement of intent but she wasn't naive enough to think that'd grant her entry; after all if there was no requirement for entry then what good would the gate do? Dinohumon pondered this contemplating letting these visitors in. While he had seen the fight between his visitors and the Goblinmon he was not sure whether they were worthy of entry. After all defeating Rookie level Digimon was not the most difficult task in the world.

Marshal flinched reflexively at Panzer's punch, but soon realized that she had stopped. "I was looking to actually train my Digimon here," he chuckled, "since he's the one that does most of the fighting."
"Maybe it wouldn't hurt for you to give it a try, too," Coronamon admitted. "After all, think of how much work it would take off my shoulders if you were able to defend yourself like Panzer here does!"

In all honesty Panzer agreed with Marshal's partner; if you weren't able to fight for yourself and look after yourself then, at least as far as she was concerned, you had zero right to expect others to fight for you. "I concur with your partner. As far as I'm concerned if you won't fight for them..then you have no right to expect them to do the same." While Panzer had no qualms training Coronamon she did actually have an issue training Marshal; at least if he refused to be willing to fight for his partner. "So what say you Coronamon? I am more than willing to train you but...it will not be easy nor painless. It's meaningless otherwise" Training without pain was meaningless; that was something Panzer believed fully and completely.
Dinohumon had been observing this exchange and found himself impressed by Panzer's attitude; she was a human that actually understood the importance of blood sweat and tears and as such he felt she was worthy of entering. Of course the same could not be said about Marshal, Pagumon or Coronamon. "Female human...you are welcome to enter.[/color]The Digimon on Panzer's shoulder excitedly hopped up and down clearly eager for training. Dinohumon turned his gaze from Panzer to her small partner. "You. Pagumon. Why do you wish to train here?" That was an easy question to answer; power obviously! "To have more power and become stronger!" Of course that was not a satisfactory answer for Dinohumon; he knew that there was more to power than merely power for it's own sake.
"But why do you want power?" Panzer's partner went to open her mouth but paused in confusion. She had attempted to think of an answer but couldn't think up one except...well for the sake of power itself? "So I can be the strongest and defeat everyone!" Pagumon was hardly the type of partner you'd expect for Panzer to have; the Digimon was immature, selfish, violent and power hungry...that said Panzer had once been the same. Speaking of Panzer she interrupted coming to the rescue of her partner. "I may not know who you are...but I'm aware my partner is..immature. She simply wants power for the sake of having it but..she is young and I wish to teach her the true value of power." Dinohumon was convinced Panzer would be sufficient to train Pagumon and so nodded letting the two of them in.
Pagumon smiled and bounced happily but Panzer merely walked through the wooden get entering the Spartan Training Grounds. If Marshal and his partner tried to follow Dinohumon would block them with an arm scowling at them. "And why do you two want to train here?" The purpose of the Spartan Training Ground was to train new generations of Digimon, and by extension their partners, into being stronger warriors...but Dinohumon wouldn't let just about anybody through. As far as he was concerned anybody that trained here needed to understand the significance behind strength, making yourself stronger and its true value,

"We have a perfectly good reason for being here," Coronamon said, his expression suddenly becoming quite serious. "First off, we have reason to believe there's a threat coming to the Digital World as well as the real world, and we need to be prepared for when it inevitably happens."
"Also, we're just here to tag along with this lady," Marshal joked. A quick slap on the leg from Coronamon set him straight. "We'd also like to improve in any way we can," Marshal corrected.

That was a good start to the kind of answer Dinohumon wanted from those who wished to use his training grounds...except there was more to it than that. Marshel and his partner wished to be prepared for this threat of which they spoke which was well enough..but why did they feel the need to be prepared? Or, if you wanted to reword, Dinohumon wished to know why they felt responsible for protecting the digital world from this threat. "A threat you say?And why do you feel the need to be prepared? You've told me why you want to train here but why do you need to train in the first place? Surely handling a threat to all of the Digital World is the purview of the Royal Knights?" The why was always as important, nay more so, than the what. In this case the why Dinohumon was searching for was the why behind Marshal's desire to be ready for this threat.
Inside the Spartan Training grounds Panzer, along with her tiny partner, were hard at work. It was difficult for Pagumon to actually train their body on account of the lack of limbs but....they could still hop around. As such that was how she was increasing her physical strength by running laps around a course marked in the ground. Panzer on the other hand was working just as hard performing one handed push ups counting as she did so. "50, 52, 52, 53, 54, 55" And so she would continue counting until somebody disturbed her...either that or until she finished her set of two hundred push ups. " 56, 57 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 67, 68, 69, 70" As she was exercising Panzer had actually removed many layers of clothes stripping down to her jeans and....her bra; yep she had straight up removed her shirt in order to avoid getting hot. Black was not the best colour for remaining cool after all.

Marshal and Coronamon gingerly stepped into the training grounds. They didn't really know much about the Royal Knights, but they hadn't seen any of these powerful Digimon around, so they figured that the job would fall onto everyone. "I believe that everyone should be ready to deal with a threat," Marshal said to Dinohumon. "If no one is prepared, then what happens if these Royal Knights don't show up?"
"We've got our own people to protect," Coronamon added. "We've met a lot of friends on our journey around the world, and want to help them out however possible."

Dinohumon paused and considered Marshal's response. He wanted to train and gain more power for the sole sake of defending people did he? Fair enough that was already an established fact by this point. The reason why he wished to defend people was that he believed you had to be able to look after yourself, that the Royal Knights could not be relied upon and that he wanted to help out his friends. "Hmmm...I may not agree with all of your motivations...but wanting to help your friends is something I can believe in. You may enter." Dinohumon stepped aside allowing Marshal entry into the training grounds. Hopefully he would find the kind of strength he was looking for; helping people often required putting in effort especially if you were eager to protect the entire Digital World!
As Marshal and his partner entered the training ground, if they did that is, it would be rather easy for them to notice Panzer in the depths of physical training. Wearing nothing but sport shorts, yes she had changed during changing, and a sports bra the German Amazon was drenched in sweat as she performed her push ups. "130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, 137, 138, 139, 140" Panzer was showing the result of the years she spent building her body up to the point of physical superiority. Bristling with muscle and calloused skin one would be hard pressed to find a single spot of soft flesh upon her body. Pagumon was also hard at work as she hopped around the running track; kind of hard for a creature without arms or legs to actually exercise.
