Skills/Talents
Analytical
Yuu tends to thoughtfully examine and remember anything that catches her interest in any way and always thinks thoroughly before acting. The bad side of this is that she's often too focused in the details to see the big picture, and that sometimes overthinks things that are better solved by just acting and not thinking all that much.
Sketcher
Yuu's main hobby is drawing, and there aren't many times when she can't be found with her trusty sketchbook and pencil within arm's reach. Most of the time, she'll be drawing the most recent thing that caught her attention.
Typist
Because of her current condition, Yuu's main means of communication since she was eight is writing, either in paper or in keyboards/cellphones. Practice makes perfect, and now she can write or type faster than anybody she knows.
Signs & Languages
After learning JSL, Yuu took a liking the learning signs as a whole; call it Wabun, Morse, ASL, ESL, LSE, among others. Languages were probably among some of the few things she liked to learn.

Personality
Even before his accident, Yuu wasn't really a chatty person and now basically lives by the precept "never say something unless it's worthwhile". make no mistake, she's polite and an overall nice girl to have around, but if she can avoid needlessly chatter, she does so. As she grew up in a somewhat isolated town, she's come to be rather apathetic towards having company or not, most of the time not minding being alone or not. Only sometimes, she thinks than that can maybe be social ineptitude, but again, she hasn't cared enough about it to be really and issue.
Most of the time she prefers to go unnoticed, but at the same time, she likes being recognized by her exploits, and takes great pride in her accomplishments. This has made her a hard worker who tries really hard to succeed when she's doing something that matters to her.
This has somewhat mellowed down during her adventures in the Digital World, making Yuu's personality to be in an awkward place right now. On top of the previous contradictions, on one side, we have a loyal and reliable friend who values the few friendships she has greatly, while on the other side we have someone extremely ambitious and driven to succeed, oftentimes no matter the cost. That current predicament, coupled with her current situation, has the teenager in front of a crossroads. What path she'll take, only time will tell.
Oh, and she can also be a huge dork at times, too.

Appearance
I'd be lying if I said Yuu isn't surprised with her new appearance. As tall as she was even, and even comparably more given her condition, she stands imposing and proud. Sporting a slender and agile build, this time it seems that mother nature (or whatever) wanted for Yuu to keep on with somewhat healthy habits, and she took the opportunity in stride.
Graceful, serene and mostly calm at all times, it's kinda funny seeing that picture spoiled at how clumsy and dorky she's capable of being every now and then. Lest to say, her skin is fair and smooth, and is complimented by a rather long, bright blonde mane, going all the way down to her waist.
She still has to learn some of the fine details of her condition, but... what can she say. Because of her wanting to get the best of her current situation, she's been trying her hardest. And, due to her self-awareness rising by a fair bit, she cares a lot about keeping both her appearance and her persona tidy and clean.
Regarding clothes she has yet to pick a taste regarding them, so she mostly uses boyish clothes and neutral colors, blue, red, purple, among others. The teenager's kinda surprised that her repertoire has grown this much, but sees this as something good, as it came with a bit of a boost to her self-esteem. Now, her steps are sure, her gaze, determined and her demeanor, confident.

Personal History
Born to Tsumura Takeshi and Watanabe Masako, Yuu spent most of his early years is Ōno, in the Fukui prefecture. They weren't the most loving parents, and were rather strict with his education, but Yuu loved them nonetheless. His family, although not rich, was economically stable, even affording some luxuries now and then. With both of his parents being teachers, they were quite aware that most of his child's future would be defined on his early education, and because of that, they tried to make him into a hard worker, that having mixed results. Without doubt, their son was quick on his wits and quite a fast learner, but sometimes they felt that he seemed too distracted by his ―not so important― interests to be as focused in his studies as they wished him to be and as result, his grades were only slightly above average.
When he was two, his only sibling, her sister Tsumura Mana was born. A sweet and naïve girl that seemed to be always happy and had the discipline his parents tried to instill in him got the spotlight rather fast, and even though their relationship was kind of shaky at first because he was actually jealous of her, the little girl just grew inside him as she was the only person who didn't try to make him into something he wasn't and was actually happy to have him around.
Life continued normally until he was eight and he had a school trip to a nearby zoo. And while to visit was rather uneventful, on their way back the bus crashed and he was hospitalized.
He suffered a severe head concussion, and while the surgeons were able to save his life, the traumatic event seemed to have affected him deeply in both a physical and psychological level, so when he was out of danger, his family moved to Shibuya to rehabilitate him in the best place they could afford. The treatment made him recover most of his motor skills, but sadly, the medics suspicions that his newfound muteness wasn't related to the Post-traumatic Stress Disorder he was actually suffering, but because the concussion he received in the crash had damaged his brain. The family was given two options. A invasive procedure that maybe couldn't recover the boy's speech and was risky to boot or teaching to boy how to live without being capable of speaking.
His parents were devastated, but ultimately gave the choice to their son. Yuu, still terrified at what he had gone through, chose the latter. A long and difficult process began that day, and while Yuu tried not to make a big deal of it, the first months of it were quite hard. Having to deal with not being capable of hear his very own voice after so many unconscious attempts to speak frustrated him, and on top of that, he had to finish the rehabilitation, learn JSL―something that was just bearable because his sister decided to learn it too― and had to deal with the sudden upside-down change in his parent's attitude. They just began treating him like some kind of defenseless baby, the expectations they had of him of him fading as they spoiled him. And even though he tried and tried, nothing that he could express to them made them take him seriously, so he decided that the best way that he could make them hear him was fulfilling their prior goals they had for him. He began to study harder and harder, and even became one of the best ten students of his class. To this day, he keeps trying to demonstrate them―and all the people in who he sees a "poor thing" face when they look at him that those looks should be of admiration or jealousy, not pity
This story doesn't end here, however. An avid reader would notice that Yuu's been referred to as he during this whole story. So, what happened? Stay tuned to find out; for now I'll just now say that what happened to her didn't happen because she wanted to, and now she has to get used to life... as a girl.
