Timothy looked from his left to his right and all he saw were cave walls and the occasional intersection. He sighed a little as it grew quieter, saying, "I wouldn't worry too much on it. It may be strong, but we're smart, we can figure our way through it." Bibi nodded as she went on, "Yeah, I mean. We may be completely useless within these walls because I fly around a- wait, how are you useless Faluo?" Faluo shook his head, "I'm not, I'll just sneak around."
Bibi let out a laugh, "Of course, so I'll just try and hold him still while you guys solve it as quick as you can."
"Yeah, but it won't solve all our problems... Anyways, yeah, there might be something else, but hopefully, this will go by quickly so we can get out as soon as possible. I don't want a cave falling on us."
He silently listened and wow, Hikaru was right. When everything was silent, they can only hear their footsteps... Creepy..."

Generally as the group travelled, the sounds of raging machinery grew closer and closer. While it still was distant, it was a sign that you all were on the right track to your end-goal. Whether or not that was a worrisome sign though was up to interpretation.
As you draw nearer, suddenly what sounded like loud screeches and shrieks could be heard from another branch of the cave systems by you. Before you can even really get a chance to react, the sounds of dozens of rapidly-flapping wings was quickly heading your way! A swarm of DemiDevimon and Pipismon immediately came to vision, quickly swarming your party.
Luckily though, they did not seem to hostile. As quick as it began, the swarm flew away; a few stragglers tailing behind. It appeared that they were heading towards you came from, as if fleeing from the raging Kenkimon whom was your target. While most were already gone, it certainly was not impossible for one to try catch up with one. Perhaps the bat-like Digimon had valuable info? After all, they seemed to be native inhabitants of this subterran lair; they perhaps knowing more than the miners!

Colin was holding on tight to Hikaru, finding it an... interesting mode of transport. He realized he hadn't rode another animal before, not even Luke or Bellamy, since they were bipedal in all of their forms. He wasn't sure if he was riding properly, hoping that he wasn't pulling on Hikaru's fur too hard.
The discussion then spoke about Kenkimon and why he wasn't shut down by the rookie level workers. "Hmm. Yes you'd think they would have some sort of failsafe" Luke said, scratching his chin. "But then again, Blastmon runs this mine and maybe they thought he was enough to keep Kenkimon in line?"
"Yeah, true, and even if I had a dozen child level workers with me, I ain't takin' that thing on in a mine as an Impmon" Bellamy said.
Hikaru then said that it was too quiet. Bellamy gave a sigh. "Hikaru, pal, I love ya, but when you say things like that, something always has to go wrong" he said, patting Hikaru's side.
And sure enough they were proven right. At once, a swarm of DemiDevimon and Pipismon suddenly flew at them. Bellamy and Luke readied their weapons, but they didn't open fire as the digimon above seemed terrified of something.
"Phew. Nice trigger discipline there, Luke" Bellamy said to his brother as they passed.
"No, wait, they might be running from Kenkimon" Luke said, the Dynammon turning around to notice some stragglers.
"Ya think?" Bellamy asked as Luke dashed back to one of them.
"Hey! DemiDevimon! Stop!" he called to one of the stragglers, slow because he seemed slightly overweight. "Slow down, we wanna stop Kenkimon! Do you know something?" he called.

"I know it's the same as raising flag," Hikaru commented, grinning, but immediately his grin dropped as his voice assumed more serious tone. "...But I can't help but to think we need to be on guard no matter what. No matter if Luke and Bellamy is Perfect stage and ready to rumble. If we can't help in crucial moment then we're just dead weight."
His eyes focused on the path ahead. "Anyone who blindly trust a big shot just like that is a fool. Didn't you heard what that Nise Drimogemon said? They're not even going to compensate us beforehand. It's like typical big shot of a company, when you're a big shot why you need to go here yourself when you can hire sweepers? In the end the top dog is the one who get all rich, and the worker are just being paid minimally. ''Capitalism, ho!' I would say. Which makes me wonder if this mine is legal or not..."
Hikaru promptly halted when suddenly he heard something. Knowing this, Yuuki shielded Colin while letting his partner facing the opening. Countless of DIgimon flies away in panic... This is getting all the more strange. Pipismon should be adult stage.
"Luke, ask them about the status of the Kenkimon! Also ask them about the reason why it suddenly berserked!"
Hikaru positioned himself near the tunnel where the bats Digimon came from, ready to check whether there are something that need his attention.

Timothy was quite used to riding on the back of Bibi, having ridden on her across the skies to pretty much get anywhere in the Digital World. He was able to sit upright with no issues. That was, until he noises came back and the surprise of it made him duck really quick, before mumbling, "Oh... Nothing here yet..." He then looked to Hikaru, "You're not wrong... Though we should just get this over with."
His words suddenly became incorrect as a swarm of DemiDevimon passed by them. He looked at them and shouted, "Wait! Slow down!"
Bibi couldn't do much from her position, and just said, "We just need to talk!"
Faluo leaped into the air and tried to catch one in midair, shouldn't be too hard in his current form.

"What the- Who are ya punks?! Didn't ya get the memo? That machine Digimon those dumb miners brought down has gone crazy!" The DemiDevimon would quickly reply, it not at all enjoying being stopped by some weirdo bunch of humans and Digimon. He was clearly in a panic and was not wanting to be delayed much longer from escaping the cave system.
"I don't got time for dis... I don't know why that damn thing's lost a screw or two in it's head! All I know is dat hunk of junk is trying to kill anyone who gets close!" The Rookie level would quickly say, not wanting to stay here much longer. The mechanical wails from deep in the cave systems was an ominous warning to all, the small devil not at all wanting to risk staying her much longer than he needed. These humans and Digimon didn't look like some miners... Were these some kind of mercenaries those dumb miners hired? To kill that Kenkimon? An impossible task in his eyes. "Don't tell me you weirdos are trying to take that thing out or somethin'... You gonna die if ya do! Boss man NeoDevimon tried to kill that son of a bitch and got loaded yo! You'll just be more food for it!" It'd screech, distraught by the death of it's leader. NeoDevimon was the strongest one of them all, yet even HE couldn't do anything to that monster! His death was the swarm of bat-like Digimons' final straw, they ready to hit for the hills.
"Oh what evahs... Go die! Like I care! Screw these mines, I'm gonna find some OTHAH cave to stink it up in!" The bat Digimon would screech vilely as he swiftly flew off, wanting to rejoin his siblings.

Bellamy at least agreed with Hikaru's sentiment that they should be on guard no matter what. Colin didn't know much about whether the mine was legal or not, but Luke scratched his head with his claw carefully. Maybe they could ask Yuu about it later, eh? But technically since they were being hired by this mining company to do their job, they'd best not say anything while they were under contract. Especially not as members of PROFIT, that would just be unprofessional.
"Whew, thanks" Colin said as Yuuki shielded him from the swarm of digimon. With Hikaru paying attention to the front, Colin turned around to see what his partners were doing.
The DemiDevimon's story was horrifying, especially when punctuated by the mechanical roars from deeper in the mine.
"That thing... loaded a NeoDevimon?" Bellamy repeated, horrified. NeoDevimon was a Perfect level, like them. And if he had failed to take down Kenkimon. What chance did they have?
Luke however tried one last shot. "Listen... I'm sorry what happened to your leader!" he called, chasing him further. Bellamy was at his side. "But... at the very least, can you give us the chance to avenge him?!"
The Dynammon was trying to appeal to DemiDevimon's better nature. If he gave a more detailed account of the battle, then they may know how to either exploit a weakness or at least avoid doing the same thing that NeoDevimon did.
"Yeah... I dunno how the process works, but, if we destroy Kenkimon, then NeoDevimon's data would be freed, right?" Bellamy asked, the Astamon attempting to give a charismatic smile. "And do you want him to be stuck with us dumbasses in that Kenkimon forever?"
Colin knew that Bellamy was joking, but he hoped the others wouldn't be offended by it.
"Yeah... so please, can you calm down and tell us exactly what happened, as you remember it?" he asked. "What attacks did NeoDevimon try to use and what effect did they have on Kenkimon?"

If this entered bullshit level, then surely Hikaru already called them out for it, but because this is some threatened Digimon, there's no way in hell that they're lying. Had it not for his fur and head armor, everyone would already see that he's paled. He didn't expect that this mission will be this hard. He cursed deeply. At this point, it'll just be Bellamy and Luke fighting against that abomination. If it got loaded as he said, then let's assume several theories:
1: Kenkimon is stronger than the Neo Devimon, which make it that he's on level of Perfect stage. 2: Kenkimon is Perfect, but Neo Devimon is Adult 3: Kenkimon somehow is Ultimate stage hiding its power or using shell appearance of Kenkimon
.............All of them doesn't sounds nice. It still all boils down to "he's not strong enough for this mission". He growled in frustration at this sort of thing.
"...I'll just say, but... fighting in narrow space like this might be detrimental for us. even just with me as Dorugamon. If possible, we need to somehow pull him to wider area," Hikaru suggested. "Pico Devimon, quickly tell us about the biggest opening in this mine. We won't hold you back anymore and we will see for your safety."
As long as they can get the fight to some wide opening, there might be chance for them to survive this ordeal..

Timothy shivered a little on the inside at the thought of a NeoDevimon being defeated, he had to hols onto the hope it was a weird champion like the Karatenmon that he battles quite often. He decided that the best option was to find a good plan, and hope nothing goes wrong, "And open space will work better for Bibi and Faluo.
Bibi and Faluo both nodded saying in sync, "And we can both stun him every so often, he'll go down." The two then leaped a little, Bibi's almost causing Timothy to bump his head. He gave a smile, then said, "Yeah, we can take them, shouldn't be impossible."

"Screw y'all! You think I got time to talk about dis stupid crap? I'm trying to get the hell out of here! This cave's coming down anytime now, and you all are gonna die with it!" While perhaps Luke and Bellamy meant well, they may had overestimated the DemiDevimon's potential for calm and reasonable conversation. As much of a stereotype it was for a Virus Digimon like the little winged-imp to be rude and unpersonable, the DemiDevimon was fulfilling that stereotype perfectly. It was pretty clear at this point it was not willing to help unless forced to, it driving that right home. "Piss off ya surface-dwelling scum!"
The small devil Digimon materialized a syringe with a comically malicious grin plastered on the tube, hurling it at Luke. Fortunately, due to Luke's Digizoid armor and the general weak nature of their attacker compared to even a Twin Perfect; the syringe bounced harmlessly off with absolutely no effect. Suddenly realizing how pointless his little sucker punch was, the DemiDevimon took off; not daring to look back at the group.
With that, the group was alone once more... beyond the mechanical wails that slowly were growing louder and louder. Dust seemed to slightly shake off the ceiling, a small tremor passing by you. You were getting close, but the stability of the mines was dropping the longer you stayed down here. Time was of the essense if this mine was to be saved.

"Hey!" Bellamy snapped as the DemiDevimon attacked Luke. Even though the dart bounced off Luke's armor, Bellamy's eye flashed green with fury. "I'll show you what happens when you attack my brother you little shit!" he was about to advance and chase after him but Luke held him back.
"It's okay, Bellamy, it didn't hurt" the Dynammon assured him, although Luke was pretty angry that his efforts to be nice and gain information had been so rudely repulsed. "Besides, it's probably not gonna help much at all, and we don't have time to mess around"
"He knows stuff, Luke!" Bellamy argued. He wanted to hold him down and make him tell everything he knew about Kenkimon.
"Bellamy, he could lie just to spite us" Luke said, patiently but pleadingly.
Bellamy glared down the corridor, realizing that Luke was probably right. "Fine, but if I see that bastard again I'm gonna pluck his feathers out" he muttered, the green flash in his eyes fading.
"Thanks, Bellamy" Luke said, patting the Astamon's back. "You're a good brother"
"Yeah yeah" Bellamy said, his anger cooling down as he saw Luke smiling. "I know, gotta save it for Kenkimon" he joined up with the rest of the group. "Okay, so, direct attack might be a bad idea then" he said. "We gotta do this fast, but not carelessly, we should try and use stealth best we can when we go down there".
"I think that's a good idea" Colin said. "If we know what sort of battlefield is up ahead, we might have a chance, like where we can use cover and if there's anything we can use"
"Right..." Luke said hesitantly. "But... we have to be careful not to be seen. It sounds like he'll be frenzied if it sees us, so we should learn as much about him as we can before we go in there". Luke opened the map he had been given from Gotsumon. "I think this should tell us where the best open space of the mine is" he said. And hopefully an open space meant a stable section of the mine that would hopefully survive a battle. "Hopefully he's already there".
"Well, let's keep moving" Bellamy said. "This roaring is pissing me off" the Astamon scowled down the path ahead. With that, he and Luke continued to walk forward.

Hikaru suddenly glared at Bellamy who seem to try to catch the Pico Devimon back.
"Boys, I understand you're worried for each other, but mind the damage and TPO. Bellamy, I'm sorry to say this but it doesn't even scratch him. No need to be so agitated, it's frankly a waste of time. If you're wasting your time catching the crook and ignoring the fact that that Digimon can come from this hole and you guys will be farther away. You know what that meant right? That meant the battle will start in worst possible situation. I'm sorry, but mind your role once again. You're the vanguard, which mean you understand the implication, right? You're going to our biggest firepower."
Then, he signaled to Yuuki, who nodded.
"Colin, we're dismounting,"
When both of them already dismounted, Hikaru activated his ability, turning completely invisible.
"I'm going to scout ahead. Luke, Bellamy, you follow me, or either of you is better. Whatever the choice is, back me up. I'm going to lure that thing to more open space. Uh, you two... what's your name again? The Holsmon and Shurimon, you guys should protect the humans instead. Going in with five of us would be really bad and would agitate it. Luke, Bellamy, you two make sure to stay hidden mostly, OK? I use light based attack, so I'm sure that my attack is easy to spot. Well, that's the idea unless someone have better idea. I'm willing to listen."
If none give better idea, the Canisdramon quickly sprinted ahead, all while being as stealthy as possible.

Bibi and Faluo nodded, though Bibi quickly said, "It's Bibi and Faluo, and we can do that." The both got in a defensive stance around the humans. Timothy thought for a while, still on Bibi's back, what can they do against an ultimate? He then smiled, "We can win this guy. We just gotta place smart. Draw him into us and then we can stun him, giving you guys more opportunities to strike." He then hopped off of Bibi's back and went over to the other tamers, "This should be pretty possible."

It appears though that all that long-walking was finally awarded with what looked like the pathway leading to a much larger vein of the caverns. This part of the mine was hollowed out and very much like a dome, sounds echoing across it. Unfortunately, echoing deep with in it was the sound of moving machinery and steam being ejected. It was nearby. Luckily for you all, your presence was hidden by a large mound of dirt that was right nearby the entrance your party was coming out of; but you finally had a clear image of your target just right around the corner. A two-story tall mechanical Digimon that looked like it was a combination of all kinds of construction equipment, it on giant treads. No doubt it was the Kenkimon that Blastmon was so eager to have dismantled and destroyed. The behemoth machine was busy tearing out giant chunks of one of the cavern walls using it's left hand as a shovel, it easily smashing through stone and dirt as it rips the pieces of cavern right out. It seemed mostly content with doing this alone, surprisingly calm-looking for a Digimon that had likely just killed someone. It paid no heed to the newcomers, though that was likely because it failed to notice them. All around, you could see remnants of what looked like destroyed mining stations; destroyed minecarts and crates filled with all manners of pickaxes, dynamite and other related equipment spilled around the giant dome. Some craters were also strewn about, likely remnants of the Kenkimon's battle with the supposed leader of the DemiDevimons and Pipismons. Kenkimon Level: Ultimate Attribute: Data Family: Metal Empire Passive Abilities: Metallic Juggernaut - Nearly two tons of solid metal, Kenkimon is a giant tank of an Ultimate level; taking large amounts of punishment. Not only does this lead to it having stellar defenses for it's level, it is immune to stuns or snares up to it's level. However, Kenkimon's giant size and sluggish nature means that it's agility and ability to move about is pathetically poor. Demolition - Designed to destroy even the toughest of materials with repeated force, Kenkimon's attacks are brutal in force and ignore a portion of enemies' natural defenses; forms of armor being significantly less effective against it. Built to Last - A subterran warmachine, Kenkimon is built to work through even harsh conditions. Kenkimon takes little to no damage from physical attacks that are not at least Ultimate level, however it suffers a weakness from rusting from water. Abilities: ? ? ? ?

Bellamy looked at Hikaru as he spoke, but didn't change his facial expression. In his opinion, he kind of talked too much, which made it difficult for Bellamy to accept his lecturing. Ordinarily the Astamon would have retorted "You finished yet?" or dismissed it with a "Yeah, yeah..." but since he regarded Hikaru as one of his best friends, he looked at him with an expression of respect and said "Alright, Hikaru, I'll take that on board", his former rush of anger mostly gone.
With that done, Colin did as requested and dismounted Hikaru. They watched as the Canisdramon turned invisible, an excellent ability. All three of them were impressed.
"We'll back you up, Hikaru" Luke said. "Both Bellamy and I have ranged attacks that strike instantly so we can cover you".
"And I'll try to keep to the roof" Bellamy added. "Keeps you guys out of the line of fire if it aims at me".
They stopped behind a large pile of dirt that seemed to be at the entrance of the cavern that held Kenkimon. At once, Luke turned to Yuuki, Colin and Timothy. "You guys stay back, okay?" he told them in a hushed voice.
"Alright" Colin whispered. "But I'll still be here to support you with these" he held up his cards and D-Arc. Luke smiled and nodded.
With Hikaru invisible, Bellamy and Luke peered around the edge of the soil. And there they saw Kenkimon. Two tons of metal in a rampage was a scary sight. Every scrape of the rock shook them to the core as they could feel the vibrations.
"Jesmon christ mode that thing's massive" Bellamy whispered. He looked at his brother. "Where do you think its weak spot is, Luke?"
"Either its head... or its chest" Luke whispered back, speaking directly into the others' ears so he could be heard over the roar of metal. "Although we could aim for its treads first to stop him moving. Or even disable its claw to stop attacking".
"Well, we'd better get in position first" Bellamy said. He surveyed the battlefield, seeing craters around the Kenkimon, as well as piles of dirt from localized cave-ins, as well as upturned mine carts and piles of explosives. Hmm... explosives. Perhaps they could use those? Luke's attack was energy based so perhaps if they got Kenkimon close enough they could blow them up? Although... wait, that would destroy the cavern, and the mine would have to be dug out before it can be used again. A difficult tactic.
"Well, here goes" Bellamy said, swooping as fast as he could from his hiding spot, and hid behind an upturned mine cart on the opposite end of the room, flying close to the ceiling to prevent any shadows from forming on the floor from the dim lightbulbs that was their only source of light.
Luke meanwhile did the same, the Dynammon using his powerful legs to leap to a pair of crates filled with digging equipment that was nearer to the entrance, peering at Kenkimon through the gap in the middle. He made little sound as he landed, keeping his claws raised to prevent them tapping on the floor.
With that, they awaited the others to take up positions, observing Kenkimon's movements all the while.
