The Inn [Part II] [PROFIT]

Koharu entered the room after some time. By then, the conversation has ended. She sat on the chair and sighed somewhat. Warg quickly briefed her with what happened, but Koharu just seem to look as if she understood.
"...Sorry about this, you guys, but if I have to say, this sort of thing is common for those who gotten their strength, thought that they're great and then it's proven otherwise. It... has happened so many times and will be happened all time. There's no easy way to get out of it other than that someone to get out of that hole themselves. I'll just say, I think dangers one faced is relative to how big their luck is...
...I wouldn't deny any of your past adventures and dangers you faced, but probably you've been quite lucky and quite prepared for it. However, when you get to Ryouta's sort of adventure... it suddenly changed. You guys got tossed out of your rhythm and suddenly everything turns bad. You tried desperately, and in desperation, it's normal for someone to act stupid. Usually, in adventuring, doing stupid thing and failed will crush your spirit, doing great would lift it up until point of arrogance..." she seem to reminisce something.
"...and when all that arrogance met with a fatal mistake, you'll only... get destroyed... far harder than ever before.... when you're crushed, there are usually two way... One is to get desperate... another is to get depressed," she said this as if she's talking about someone she absolutely know. "...It's not a new story..."
She leaned backward on her chair and let out a really long sigh. "...To be honest, I'm glad that this is just depression, because this means Marshal won't do anything funny like pushing Coronamon to Dark Evolution... but that was beside the point. Give him time, you four.
Meanwhile, Colin, Luke, Bellamy, I'll assign you to take care of Coronamon for a while. I'm feeling responsible, so I'll just say... all of your expenses while you're not with Marshal will be handled by me. Under no condition, I repeat, under no condition that Coronamon should be alone. At the moment, without Marshal, you can't evolve. I understand if you need time alone, but as much as possible, please do that in a safe city, such as Terminus. Have faith in your partner, he'll return when the time is right.."

All three of them jumped in surprise as Coronamon briefly shouted, his flames flaring up. But none of them held any grudges about it, seeing as Coronamon must be pretty shattered right now. And they understood his point that Marshal might not want to see him right now.
He looked so hurt and empty that Bellamy couldn't stand it. He gently rubbed Coronamon's back, not smothering him with a hug, but just wanted to be there to comfort him in this difficult time.
Colin meanwhile listened to Koharu with increasing concern. Was this... something that everyone went through when they evolved to Super Ultimate? Would something like this happen to him and his partners when they reached that high?
Already Bellamy had gone through a breakdown at only their Perfect evolution. If that was such a big blow to them, what would their Mega evolution be like? He shuddered to think.
Luke was also concerned about his brother. Bellamy was an Impmon, who naturally evolved to digimon like Beelzemon for their Mega level, and they could be capable of great evil. But Luke hoped that his brother would still be the good, big-hearted dork that he always was.
All three of them instantly affirmed Koharu's instructions that they would look after Coronamon. "Yeah, we can do that" Colin said, immediately.
"Yeah. We'll be there for as long as you need us, buddy" Bellamy said to the fire lion. He might have evolved to Mega, but he was only a rookie level without his partner. And Bellamy wouldn't let anything bad happen to him while he was in this situation. After all, Bellamy really cared about him.
Koharu said that they should return to a safe city. With this, Colin took out something from his pocket, something that looked like a memory chip.
"Sure, we can head off whenever we're ready" he said. He turned to Bellamy. "Sorry we didn't get around to telling you this, but we brought something while you and Coronamon were on your date last night. A Mercenary contract, for a Blimpmon. We can summon him with this digimemory and he can take us wherever we need to go"
"Don't summon him indoors though" Luke warned. Colin held back a laugh and confirmed that he wouldn't do something like that.

Coronamon could understand what Koharu had said, and agreed with it, to an extent. Up until now, the circumstances surrounding a fight like this were usually dangerous, but this one was in a league of its own. In fact, when Coronamon had first reached both his Champion and Ultimate forms, those fights hadn't exactly ended on the best terms, but they had still had less far-reaching consequences compared to this.
Coronamon was so confused by what had happened that he really wasn't sure what the reasoning was behind it. He felt Bellamy stroke his back, and sighed contentedly. He sure was lucky to have friends like these. It seemed they would be taking care of him for a while, and taking him wherever he wanted to go on a Blimpmon. "Actually," he said, speaking up to Colin finally, "I'd just like to go to Whitewater City. It's nice there, and if I'm stuck somewhere for any length of time, I'd want it to be there. After all, I can't expect you guys to watch over me all the time until Marshal gets back."
The little lion turned to Koharu. "That said," he began, "I know that Marshal's going to come looking for me eventually. I'd like his D-Arc and cards to stay here, since he'll probably come here first. I think there's something on there that might help him out."

"Whitewater? Got it. If that's all that you want, I can guarantee it. Warg, go get all the card and D-Arc if any is still there in that room. If not, well, just check it for the meantime if there are any leftover. High chance that we really going to need to send it back to real world if he's stuck, but let's hope not."
Warg nodded and quickly returns back to that room. Meanwhile, Kon-chan just sighed. "Well, in Whitewater there's other PROFIT member, so your choice is quite wise. Is Marshal still with his D-Terminal? If not... Well, let's not go there. Anyway, we'll keep it safe. That'll be compass to where you are, afterall... unless his Digivice doesn't work that way. It's not the first time people got damn different functions in their Digivice and we can't help but go 'whut'."
"Ah, I remember those, good time. None of our group's got analyzer at all, so we're just looking at each other while other group have them... but that's beside the point. Colin, I leave him to you, OK? Keep in contact. If you need any help, no matter how small, just tell me. We'll try our best to go there."

Coronamon appeared to want to go to Whitewater instead of Terminus. None of them had a problem with that, as Whitewater was pretty safe. "Okay, pal" Bellamy said, moving out in front of him. "But just remember... you said you loved me. And I meant it when I said I loved you back. So if you're ever feelin' sad, lonely or just need someone, I'll be there for you" he gently stroked the fur on Coronamon's cheek, smiling at him. "Wow, Bellamy" Colin remarked, somewhat amazed at how his partner was behaving. "And you said the same, Colin" Bellamy said, reminding him. Colin blushed, realizing this was true. "Aand this is so ya don't feel left out too" he said cheerfully putting an arm around Luke. "Heh heh. But seriously, Coronamon, if you really wanna be left alone sometimes in Whitewater, we'll do so. But we'll be there for you when you need us" he promised. Colin and Luke nodded. While they might not love Coronamon as much as Bellamy did, he was still a friend to them nonetheless. So the D-Arc and Cards would remain here. Colin thought that was a good idea. "I think he still has the D-Terminal, I didn't see him put it behind" Colin said, glad that Marshal still had some means of communication. Colin nodded as Koharu said that they could count on her for help. "Alright, we will" he said. "Thanks for everything, Koharu" he said, glad that they had sorted out most of their own problems here, now they were free to help Coronamon and Marshal with theirs. Following that, Colin walked outside. Finding a wide spot in the ruined town, Colin took the digimemory out of his pocket. "Alright, let's see how this works..." Colin said, and loaded the digimemory into his D-Arc. At once, a vast amount of data burst out of it. And moments later, an enormous airship hovered in front of them. 50 meters long, 15 meters wide, with a luxurious cabin on his undercarriage with stairs leading up to the door, Blimpmon realized. "Reporting, sir" Blimpmon said in a calm, professional voice of a trained air transport professional. "Hey, Blimpmon" Colin said. Bellamy quickly zipped off into the cabin. "We'd like to head over to Whitewater. Can you manage that trip?""Hmm. I'll access the weather forecasts" Blimpmon said, pausing for a moment. "Seems alright so far. I'll have to go around the west since there's storms on the direct route, but sure, I can get you there by the end of the day""Alright, sweet!" Colin said, giving a thumbs up. "Wait, where did Bellamy go?" Luke asked. He looked at the top of the stairs and physically staggered in the snow, Colin sweatdropping. "Hey Coronamon~" Bellamy said, dressed as an air steward, complete with visor cap, shirt, tie and jacket with golden buttons. "Are you ready to fly Air Impster?" "Please don't call me that" Blimpmon asked, the giant machine also sweatdropping. Well, Colin had to commend his partner on his enthusiasm. And also he was glad that Bellamy was in a dorky mood again.

Coronamon blushed when Bellamy stroked his cheek. He was still a bit down after what had just happened, but Bellamy still had a way of making him feel better. "Thank you, all of you," he said, nearly choking up a bit. His friends were some of the best out there. He was sure of it!
After following Colin and the twins out of the inn, and watched as Colin summoned a Blimpmon in the middle of the town. "That's so cool," he whispered breathlessly. After a few seconds, Bellamy popped back up wearing a ridiculous outfit and being a total dork. Coronamon burst out in laughter. How was Bellamy so good at that?
"You bet your sweet, purple butt I am," Coronamon chuckled, winking obnoxiously at his partner. He jogged up the platform and prepared for his next adventure. It would be nearly two Digital World months before he reunited with his Tamer.
