Drake entered the lobby of the coliseum, his cane's tip rapping against the smooth floor. All around, there were many powerful looking digimon of the Champion and Ultimate stages, each doing their own business. To many of them, seeing such a scrawny looking human was a peculiar sight, particularly because Drake appeared so weak, and without a partner digimon to back him up. Drake eventually made his way over to the counter, his speed not being particularly quick, as he was looking around the room in a mix of amazement and curiosity.
At this point, Drake peered upward at a digimon manning the counter, an Ogremon who was flipping through what looked like a newspaper. Ogremon's glazed expression changed somewhat as he shifted an eye to look at Drake, then return to looking at the paper. "Whadd'ya want, kid? You don't look like you've got a digimon, so you aren't really worth my time, are ya?" the brutish looking digimon asked. Drake let a small laugh escape, as he tried to straighten himself up a bit more. "Well, I'm not looking to enter a battle, I just wanted to ask a question about a possible former registrant?" Barry asked, as Ogremon placed his paper on the counter.
"Oh yeah, you wanna know if a fighter came through here a while ago eh? Who am I looking for, and what's your relation, eh?" Ogremon asked, giving Drake a dis-trusting look. Giving out information to strangers wasn't something he was entirely comfortable with. Drake took on a slightly embarrassed look, his cane wobbling slightly. "W-Well, I'm looking to see if a tamer named 'Barry' ever signed up, I'm him. But... I've recently lost my memory, so..." he began, his voice trailing off toward the end. Ogremon perked his eyebrows up, this request being quite unusual. The Champion digimon uttered a grunt, then turned to a terminal nearby, tapping on the keys. After a moment, his eyes returned to looking at Drake.
"Nope, no Barry on here. Are you sure you even had a digimon to begin with? He asked, crossing his arms. He appeared to be getting somewhat impatient with this non-tamer. After hearing this, Drake's expression would become a little saddened, prompting him to remove his broken digivice from his pack. The red and black colors had faded tremendously, and there were multiple cracks throughout the device. It was a miracle the thing managed to stay together at all.
