A Silly Q&A Thread for Alicia and her Spirits
|
Post by Alicia Westfield on Feb 12, 2017 9:07:41 GMT
Sooooo. I've been thinking, the number of people I RP with on a regular basis... can be counted on one hand. That's not an ideal thing in my opinion, but how could I even go about expanding outwards? That's where this came to light. I'm making this as a, mentioning in the title, Q&A thread for myself and my characters. Do I think it'll get much traffic? Not really. Do I hope it will? Of course. And if it does get an-
"Ah, get on with it already."
And as the dragon spirit just blatantly demonstrated, answers will be handled IC unless none of them would know the answer, at which point I will put the answer in a spoiler instead. The fourth wall effectively does not exist for this thread. So not only can you learn a little bit about me and the trio I have here, you can kind of get an idea of how I will RP too.
For the record, this account's host to not only Alicia herself, but also the two NPC spirit companions, Sol and Kisara. Alicia's answers will be plain black, unmodified. Sol's are in green, as shown here and above. And Kisara's are A nice purple like this.
I'll generally cycle through the three in order for questions. The exception would be if a given question specifically calls out one, two, or all of them at the same time, at which point the cycle begins again from there.
After that? Stick to the rules of the sight if you want to ask me/them anything, please. Nothing else holding you back beyond that.

Colin, Luke and Bellamy approach to chat.
"So, you seem like a pretty experienced Spirit Wielder. What kind of adventures have you had so far, and what kind of goals are you aiming for in the future?" Colin asks.
The digimon meanwhile have other questions, namely to the spirits.
"What kinda things do you two spirits like doing and... well... what's it like merging with a human to bring out your full power?" Luke asks.
Bellamy meanwhile attempts to turn on the charm. "Hypothetically, if you were to meet an incredibly handsome Virgo Impmon in a casual setting, what would be the first thing you'd say to him?" he asked, winking.

The poor redhead was left chuckling a bit. “In reverse order? I’m kinda just trying to keep my head on straight juggling work and the Digital World like this. It’s… a lot harder then I thought it would be. As for adventures? Nothing too grand altogether, although I did find this hidden ninja village for hunting one of my spirit totems. Should probably put that one to more use at least before I get the next one in that line… I suppose there’s also how I got Mercurialdramon as well. That poor Submarimon was blackmailed into trying to suffocate me when I found and first picked it up.”
Sol turned to the Elecmon, pulling over a chair and leaning back on it. ”Catching up on more modern entertainment really. And since Kisara and I are capable of manifesting semi-solid bodies separate from Alicia, we don’t even have to eat up more of her time doing that. And for us? It’s not quite like that. See, in my transition from my old self to this current form, I had to relinquish not only the capacity for all that power, but also any claim to it as they solidified into Alicia’s Steel Spirit Totems. I’m pretty much completely relegated to the wizened mentor position.” Then he caught the Impmon pulling some moves and shot poor Bellamy one hell of a nasty glare. Not that he needed to say anything, he knew Kisara would shoot the poor guy down.
”What would I say…?” Kisara mused softly as she giggled a bit. ”Well, not a whole lot really, a simple ‘hello’ out of politeness if he approached first. I’d have someone eating up my attention in such a scenario I do believe.” With that, she leaned against the dragon and smirked at Bellamy, shifting her right hand so that a band of gold and a gemstone glinted in the light on her ring finger. She didn’t feel like being too mean, so she left things ambiguous verbally and only gave the secret away with the motion.

Sure. I'll bite. After all, getting to know other people is fun! Mana approached cheerily, her partners some distance behind.
"So... How did you get to meet each other? Did you three meet at the same time or not? I also wanna know how your relationship was at first! Did you get along or were things... shakier? Don't eschew any details!"

((Feel free to ask as yourselves too, No Fourth Wall here so technically the three of them can see YOU as well as your characters *wink*))
Alicia groaned at the next inquiry, face palming “Ugh… some one was going to ask about that...”
”Indeed, well, lets get started. I’m sure she won’t mind if details unrelated to the actual meeting are left out though, like the misunderstanding that occurred with another Tamer.” Sol noted, nodding to himself.
”Ah, fiddlesticks...” was all Kisara had to comment on that before the recollection was set to begin.
“Ho-kay, where to begin...” Alicia mused, looking up. “It started as an average day for me. Wake up, go to work, etc. Nothing exciting happens there. It’s what happens afterward when things get interesting. I wind up meeting up with Kai, and I’m understandably worried when I realize the kid’s been severely injured. Like, bandages in a lot of places and I wouldn’t be surprised if his entire chest was wrapped up. Never mind the fact he seemed to be alone. Things get off on the wrong foot so I wind up following him in secret to see if he at least meets up with anybody who’ll be able to help him recover… Naturally… things didn’t go as I planned.” Alicia glanced over at the dragon spirit, a silent cue for him to pick up from there.
”As Alicia hinted, Kai never met up with anyone, instead he had been going down to enter the Trailmon Terminal, so Alicia was basically lead closer to the Digital World without him ever noticing it. It was at that point that a powerful resonance between us woke me up. My connection with her was weak at the start though, so while I tried to communicate with her, it didn’t work out in either party’s favor.” Sol shook his head and sighed at that. ”I am sorry for our early troubles, still, by the way.”
“Imagine suddenly having a really out of tune and static-y radio pop up in your head, and every time it tried to transmit it gave you the mother of all headaches. And they were really bad, the kind that can actually drop a person from the hammering pain… ugh...” the Spirit Wielder commented. She winced and held her hands to her forehead. “I feel terrible just remembering it sometimes…”
”Indeed… Anyways, realizing I had to stretch my power thin to help strengthen the connection, I pulled a partially materialization so that I could gather her potential power and condense it into the D-Scanner she now wields. I recall that people generally don’t like having their phones and other such personal devices eaten by the transformation, so it was an extra step I took. Then… I kind of gave her a light push into the Trailmon terminal. Once she picked up the first of many spirits, our links were strong enough that we were now fully aware of who the other was. Ah, yeah, that was a thing by the way. While it was still static-y, I couldn’t actually see who it was who would accumulate my released power, and she couldn’t make anything out about myself. Needless to say… we were not amused about the gender differences, me for riding around with a young woman which is… awkward. Her for now having a male’s voice echoing around in her head alongside her own thoughts.” Sol sighed to himself again, it seemed to be a thing he did a lot with less-than-desirable moments being recollected.
“I would’ve taken that twice over compared to how Kisara wound up in my life though. Why don’t you explain your little part in this play, oh devious Queen of Mischief?” The glare Alicia shot at the ice maiden upon bringing her into the conversation spoke volumes of how she felt about it. Whatever it was, she had yet to forgive the purple-haired woman for the event.
”Ehehe… Let’s not and say we did…?” Kisara tried weakly and nervously. Looking between Sol and Alicia back and forth, both of them seemed to be staring at her expectantly. Mana had said not to eschew any details… ”Mmmmph… meanies...” she pouted, before looking down and poking the tips of her index fingers together. ”Ah… anyways… time skip a couple months or so later, I had finally ‘felt’ that Sol had woken up and was beginning to help Alicia gather up the fragments of his power. Seeing as she’d picked up one of the dark-side Steel Spirits, I knew it was time to start balancing the scales, so I pulled the one totem I had taken charge of and made arrangements...” The ice maiden grimaced a bit, looking back at the other two as if silently pleading for them to let her stop there. Their gazes remained firm. ”… you guys really are jerks sometimes… Anyways… time was of the essence so like Sol, I used up some of my remaining reserves of power to accelerate things, so to speak… Unlike him, though… I may have sorta, kinda, hypnotized Alicia from a world a way to bring her into my icy home in the Digital World’s arctic northern section. That’s when I revealed myself to Sol, added the light-side Human Steel Spirit to Alicia’s little collection, and wound up joining the little party, so to speak… They made it very clear though that neither of them were happy with my methods and the less said about that the better...”
Well… it seemed Alicia’s wrath was justified at the end of the day. “So yeah. That’s how I wound up with not one but two ancient spirits bouncing around in my head and causing a real mess of things.”

Asking a totally anonymous question, presented by a 'mysterious' figure under a cardboard box:
"Alicia! What kind of cookies are your favorite to make? And, would you be willing to deliver them to a certain white-and-purple fox? Oh! Do your spirits like to cook stuff, too? Asking for a.. Uh! Friend!"

((This was a long time coming. Muse was kaput for a bit.))
Spirit and Wielder alike, all three rolled their eyes at the sight of the card board box. Really? Was he trying to be Solid Snake or something? Never mind, he probably didn’t even know what Metal Gear was let alone get the reference. So they decided to settle for calling the little fox out on his frankly terrible disguise.
“Hello there Kuu,” the three of them chimed simultaneously.
“For the sake of the question, I’ve actually got a sweet tooth for chocolate chip cookies. And if this ‘friend’ so desperately wants a bite, he knows where to find me.” Alicia continued, giggling. Looking at her two Spirits, she smiled to herself. “Well, What about you two?”
”I’ve never been much of an actual cook or baker. I know the basics and can be very precise on cutting, but that’s about it. Anything I could make alone is pretty much restricted to being out of one of those boxes you can buy at stores with the instructions spelled out and some of the precise measuring already done.” Sol admitted with a shrug.
”Meanwhile, I’ve been a bit of a tinkerer when it came to food back in life. I’d share some of my ideas but uh, Maia would kill me for helping you take the ‘hyper’ in ‘hyper-active’ to its logical extreme. Again. Somehow she would find a way to kill me while I’m already dead as punishment. Hopefully before you destroyed her entire house and half the neighborhood in a spastic fit. … I was I was joking with that too.”
Maybe that was a story for the 12th of Never...
