- Natural Born Leader: Sure he may be popular, but he doesn't view himself as a leader even though so many follow.
- Modesty: He's been told far to many times that he is too modest. In fact so modest that he can't see his own charms.
- Honesty: Matt hates telling a lie, unless he needs to make himself out to be the bad guy, otherwise he'll be as honest with you as he can.
Personality: As fore mentioned in his talents and skills, Matt is fairly modest and honest. He's selfless and is will try his hardest to never let you be sad. He is empathetic to the extreme, and will often make your problems his own. His blind faith in humanity often leaves him alone. Sure he might be popular at school or online, but he's completely different once out of the spotlight. I guess you can call it depression, but even he doesn't know whats wrong. He'll often go days with out letting anyone in. It's almost as if he needs to recharge all that 'hope' he has in people. In the face of others they see him as this 'great' person always being so kind and helpful. When in his eyes, he's just doing the right thing, he doesn't feel like he's all that special. His views on things are sometimes different than others, mainly because he doesn't like to follow suit. He finds that everyone can tend to act like sheep, and he's afraid that those close to him will eventually end up the same. So he takes it upon himself to unburden them and take on the world so they don't end up losing themselves.
Appearance: 
Matt's general appearance is that of a slender teen. He hasn't built all that much muscle since he hasn't needed to. His natural physique and aptitude in sports allowed for his success. His hair is a generally dark brown as its mostly always contained in his toque. He has eyes of blue, that often reflect a soft shade in the sun. He usually wears a yellow and black sweater, along with black slim fitting jeans. He is in fact wearing shoes, they are black with some yellow accents on the laces and soles. You can tell that Matt is a laid-back easy going person, with just by looking at him. His stature shows he's often pretty relaxed, his back is never straight, it's always slouched a little unless he's asleep then its straight. He wears a chain necklace that has a pendant of snowflake obsidian, supposedly it's supposed to 'protect' him from harm.
Personal History: Mathis Theodore Kayne was born December 22nd. In a wintry wonderland known as Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He was born into a world that really knew nothing, his parents were pretty generic at the time. His mother being a chef, and his father being a businessman. You know how things normally go with upperclassmen as parents. Affairs. Disappointment. Resentment. Blame. It all usually ends up the same, with a divorce. This drove both Matt and his mother to eventually travel to Tokyo. At this point in his life he was only 5 when his parents divorced. His mother got jobs in all sorts of places due to having her Red Seal. When he was 10 they were living in a rural town in Illinois. He made some friends but never had the chance to get close. The common fate of his childhood. When he was 11 they moved to Orlando, Florida. Where he started to invest himself in video games. People in his classes and school started to see him in a different light, as this kid who no matter the situation always tried his best to be kind. A year later he would be gone, having to start fresh once again. But no matter how many times he moved, one thing stayed the same. His games never left him, his file on a JRPG Simulator soon grew to an unexpected level. He soon was sought after online for his achievements. He took interest in a game called Digital Dive - Cross Order. His two partner monsters that he loved almost as much as his mother were named Buster and Bomber. The main premise of the game was to raise monsters and go about an adventure, it was a place of solace for Matt. He felt like he could just sink into the world of the game. But at times he felt as if the world he saw there was beckoning him to join, like it was calling to him in a weird way. Buster and Bomber were named solely on the skills they used in-game. Buster was a goblinoid monster, and Bomber was a demon-man monster. The team he had created was notorious both online and offline. Buster with his signature sunglasses, and Bomber with his unique gauntlets. But it all seemed to matter less and less when she showed up...
This girl came into Matt's life at a crucial stand point. She made everything he thought he knew, he did to be wrong, hollow. She saw right through him, saw all his desires, the lust for the affection he never got from his father as a kid. Her attitude changed him for the best, opened his mind, his eyes to see the world in a new aspect. One where he took on the pain of everyone, one that allowed him to become more empathetic towards others. Instead of being nice to get something in return, he became selfless, helped those in need because its right. He soon found out that no matter what, no matter who they are, what they are, you should be a friend. 'Cause you never know when someone's clock will run out of time, you have to cherish every bond you make. But he was blind, and she was broken...he now regrets everything he didn't say, or do with her. He chose to stop being weak, to stop shutting everyone out. He never wants anyone to go through what he went through, he lost someone who meant the world to him, and what? She'll never know because he was scared, to much of a coward to confess, maybe then she'd still be here. But no matter, the hardships Matt has endured has made him better, stronger even. His goal in life now is to give everyone the faith she had in him. He carries a hardcover book that she was going to give to him, but her parents gave it to him at her funeral instead. He cherishes this book with everything he has, skims through it almost every night. reads the note she wrote to him, confessing how she felt about everything and him. Telling him to not be afraid anymore, that he needs to move forward and hold nothing back. She stated that his modesty was both his best charm, and his worst fault. Even to this day Matt can't recall her name, he'll dream about her here and there, but her name eludes him still. Only name that comes to mind is her username, Bleeze.

But Matt was able to fit in rather easily this time round, 'cause he was good in almost every academic subject, excelled at sports due to his physique, and was rather personable. He quickly rose to the top in his new school, good grades, sports teams, good looking, you can see why he was quickly becoming a rising school star. But he didn't like the spotlight, he would rather let someone else have it. Only spotlight he enjoyed was in Digital Dive, where he and his two partners could adventure around to their hearts content. He grew to love both Buster and Bleeze[named after the girl] as if they were actually real. But now its been two years since that day, not a second goes by that he doesn't think of her smile, her laugh. But he can't be sad, it isn't what she would have wanted. She wants him to face forward and strive in life. With that he does his best to make everyday bright for everyone else.
The day is December 31st, and the mission for the day is the Darkest Before Dawn Festival dungeon raid in Digital Dive. His popularity both online and in school has gotten him a raiding party with a guild for the events new dungeon. So they all decided that to end the festival and the year, they would all have one last hurrah. They all saw what the special event loot was, and that no one has cleared the dungeon yet. But the items from the loot were a two piece combo set. One of the items being the infamous Buster Glasses, designed after the ones Buster himself wears, and the other item is the Crusher Gauntlets worn by Bleeze. These two S rank accessories were made to commemorate Matt's achievements and popularity in the game.
Tonight was the big night, the raid party was about to begin. Matt was chosen to lead the group into the dungeon. Although he didn't want to at first, a fellow student of his said "Sure you don't see yourself as a leader, but your bright, we will all follow" and with those words Matt decided to do his best, hell better than his best. He's going to give it 110%. The raid started off great but as soon as they hit the boss room, everyone's teamwork was starting to fall off, everyone started turning on each other and heckling Matt for doing a poor job, even the kid from the beginning was starting to lose his cool. Matt then blatantly stated to everyone via the headset "If you just want to leave, then go. Ultimately i cant force you to stay, i cant do anything to make you stay...if you would give me the same amount of faith i give you all, we can do this." Just like that everyone went silent, and it was like in unison they all agreed to not give up. Sure enough with what he deemed to be a poor rally, everyone pulled through. With the boss defeated and raid ending, everyone cheering and saying thank you. Matt notices that his two partners are interacting with each other, something he's never seen in the 6 years he's played the game. As he continues to watch them interact, he can hear them talking through his headset. "Tha-fuzz-yo-buzz." Then in unison they both said "Fi-beep-sel-buzz" as they trailed off his game console crashed, you could hear the systems fan kick into high gear, but to no avail. It was ruined, all his data, all his progress gone..."B-b-but what exactly did they try to say?" he wondered.
As he laid on his bed, he grabbed the blank book that he received two years ago. He opens it up and thinks to himself "What a way to start the new year...i guess it really is a fresh start." as he starts to look through all the blank pages, he smiles. The note then gently falls onto his chest, he continues to flip through the book. This time he notices something he hasn't before. There is a picture towards the back of the book, neatly tucked in between the pages so that it doesn't affect the books spine. As he starts to pull out the photo, his heart starts to swell, his eyes start to tear up, he suddenly feels all the emotions he once thought he left behind. His heart starts to hurt as he looks at the photo, he can't hold back any longer, he drops the photo grabs his pillow and screams into it. As he is lying there crying, screaming into his pillow, the picture gently falls to the ground.

- Remarkable Athlete - Once in Rookie and above, Buster's natural talents kick in. He seems to be in peak physical shape, although he's almost always hungry.
- Logical Thinker - He picked this up from Matt. But Buster has developed a knack to carefully access the situation before acting. But sometimes his 'good' ideas take precedence over the careful strategy.
- Natural Survivalist - Buster was able to survive on his own until he reached his Rookie stage. His instincts kicked in and allowed him to scavenge for food and shelter. He thinks this skill will benefit him in the long run.
Personality: Buster and Matt share a lot of traits with one an other. Sometimes they wont even have to talk to each other and they'll just know what the other is about to do. It can get a little creepy at times. Matt often referring to him as his 'Brain Child' no one ever said they were clever. Buster as a Digimon seems to pick up on human emotion better than most, as he shows signs of being rather empathetic at times. But as Buster was alone in the beginning, he learned a few things about himself. He shouldn't have such a blind faith in others, although sometimes you want to. That maybe being alone isn't so bad, and that if you think you have a good idea, just trust your gut. When Buster isn't with Matt, he can get rather rambunctious. He sometimes gets himself into tough situations, on his journey to find his tamer. Other times he'll often be seen snoozing or even eating the wide variety of digi-fruit scattered around the Digital World!

Passive: Unholy Fervor - Buster in this form, hates to lose. His martial combat prowess becomes a bit more sloppy as he gets hit more and more. Instead of being a calm headed and logical thinker, he soon becomes a tyrant on the battlefield. Stacks of fervor apply when he gets hit. Only one stack can be applied per post. Caps at 3. Once capped Buster's physical damage is increased by 15% while he becomes more irrational.
Abilities:
- Tyrant Lancer - Envelopes his hand in a dark light, then dashes forward with a slash/uppercut. His choice
- Tyrant Rain - He jumps up into the air and channels a dark sphere, then throws it towards either the ground or foe. it'll disperse and create a bombardment of blasts. 2 post CD
- Tyrant Burst - Buster amplifies his fighting capabilities to his limit.[raising all combat stats by 60%] Lasts for only 5 posts. 3 post cooldown, after it wears off.
- Eschaton - Can only be done after Tyrant Burst is activated. His fighting spirit is unleashed, spreading ruin in a 50 meter radius. Reverts back to Goblimon(Black) {raises his fist to the sky and a black bolt of energy strikes causing the explosion. leaving Goblimon holding his club in the air.} 4 post CD
- Falling Obelisk - This skill is often a follow up to Tyrant Lancer, he will jump up and grab the airborne target, and perform a back breaker on the foe. If used on the ground, he will attempt to grapple his opponent only to toss them airborne.
- Pain Sphere [Ultimate] - Buster releases a sphere of negative energy towards the foe. The more health the foe has the more damage they receive. Only ever uses it to initiate a fight. 4 post CD

Passive: Merciless Blows - Consecutive melee hits on a target [4], will apply a quick de-buff that will last 1 post. The de-buff is after the blows connect the target will feel less likely to continue fighting. When this de-buff is applied to his target Buster will be granted a temporary buff lasting 1 post, but cannot be re-activated for another 2 posts after it wears off. The temporary buff he receives is a decent damage boost to only his target. Physical attacks will deal an extra 40% damage. [kinda like being super effective]
Abilities:
- Monolith Rush - Lunges forward with his Brionyx Shield, if he connects he'll grab the foe and perform a fisherman's gut throw. Either into the ground or air. 1 post CD
- Buster Blitz Mk. III - Unleashes a flurry of blows, ranging from punches to kicks. 3-5 hit combo. 1 Post CD
- What's This? - Buster conjures Crusadermon's unique rose, baffled and shocked that he made a rose appears he throws it behind him. It'll explode as if it were a bomb 95% of the time scaring him ever so slightly.
- Fist of Brionyx - Lunges quickly into the foe using his shield as his main source of impact. Once the blow connects, the shield releases the force of a grenade into the targets abdomen. 3 post CD
- Upsetti Spaghetti - Buster uses this move although its useless, as a distraction. The ribbons/fuses on his body animate and rapidly slap his target.
- Tyrant Crusher - Only can be used on either a grounded foe or airborne opponent. If used via the ground, Buster will jump onto the foes back, then do a pirouette and stomp on them. If the skill is used via air, Buster will catch the target and perform a pile driver into the ground with excessive force.
- Pain Sphere [Mega] - Buster releases an aura of negativity around him. The aura is about a 25 meter AoE. Any foe that enters it seems to feel more pain than usual, all the skill does is accelerate the sensation of pain within the foe. DOES NOT increase damage dealt. Aura lasts for 3 posts, 4 post CD after it wears off.
- Buster Brigade - Buster's most hyped signature skill. He lines up his target and projects a massive bast from Brionyx. This skill will make him revert back into Motimon. It's his last move, the final gambit. Start everything off with a bang. 4 post CD

Short Fuse - The fuses on their shoulders ignite as soon as they enter this form. The fuses generally take 15 posts to burn up, but the burn increases the more aggressive they are. IE: If they go all out the fuses will burn 50% faster. So on and so forth. When the fuses burn out they can use their ultimate attack. Then that's it, they immediately split and they can't biomerge again for 5 posts
Edge of Night - The cloak that they wear can turn into wings briefly, allowing for quick dashes and evades, sometimes used for air combo's.
Concussive Blows - Physical hits have a chance to disorient the foe with the amount of excessive force put behind them. Punches and Kicks are the strikes affected by this passive.
Abilities:
- Ruinous Calamity - A lunging gut punch with the force equivalent to the Fist of Brionyx but tenfold. 4 post CD[Fist of Brionyx - Lunges quickly into the foe using his shield as his main source of impact. Once the blow connects, the shield releases the force of a grenade into the targets abdomen]
- Ruinous Scorch - They will attempt to grapple the foe, by putting them into a full nelson, if they succeed they will call down a beam of energy from the sky similar to BusterMummymon's Eschaton. If the foe manages to escape the grapple before the blast hits, Matt and Buster will be temporarily stunned. Stun Duration - 1 Post, ability cooldown 2 posts, even if i miss.[Eschaton - His fighting spirit is unleashed, spreading ruin in a 50 meter radius. Normally it's done by raising his hand in the air, but now for this he just calls forth Eschaton]
- Tyrant Blitz Mk. XII - Just your basic 1-2-3 hit combo, varying between Punches and Kicks.
- Tyrant Lancer - A lunging attack with an energy enveloped fist. It's either an uppercut or gut punch.
- Buster Bomber - If the opponent is airborne, they will grapple the foe and slam them into the ground.
- Tyrant's Flight - The cloak turns into black angel wings briefly and launches them into the air, either straight up or at an angle to 'close' the gap. Once airborne they will slam down into the ground causing a medium quake and a few aftershocks. Mainly used to disorient the foe.
- Ultimate Providence - Their ultimate attack. Like Buster's previous forms all having a reverting skill, it only seems fitting that this one does too right? Can only be used when the fuses get to the end of their wick. Once at the end, Matt and Buster will implode, leaving the fight for 3 posts. The implosion will cause a gravitational pull into the epicenter of the implosion, the pull will last for 2 posts. The damage any foe/ally caught in the pull is an inverse of their current health. Meaning the more HP you have, the more damage you take, less HP you have less damage you receive. After the implosion fades, both Buster and Matt will be laying on the ground unconscious. Buster will revert all the way back to Motimon.
