Some large frozen wasteland, how beautiful it was when you weren't threatened by the constant looming death it could also cause. Which is most likely what Luna was thinking being able to literally control Ice and what not. Sadly this wasn't the same for her two companions, Dust in the middle walking with his hands at his side trying more or less to ignore the cold air slapping him from all sides, Hackmon, or Bao Hackmon as he was now shooting fire at a good pace to keep himself nice and warm. "I don't get it you two, the winds are calmer then they have ever been, how are you two still cold?" The mega level asked her companions. Hackmon simply looked over at her, a look that pretty much just said 'shut up.' But it was Dust who spoke on his stead.
"Just because the wind has And still is dying down doesn't mean it ain't still cold, heck doubt it would be this easy to walk in if it wasn't." it was quite rare he would assume that a frozen wasteland plagued by blizzards constantly would have any down periods but here he was, this was one of the last places he could think to look. "Lets stop for now though, the winds getting annoying so it would be good to rest for a bit." The Mega level digimon sat down, despite what he said he was actually nervous, for a lot of reasons. Hackmon happy for a break fell down on his stomach degenerating back to his rookie form. "When you guys said a hike, I thought we were riding here and then going, not walking all the way here!" he complained. "It'll make you stronger, just ask me." Luna said floating down landing gracefully on the ice. "You've been floating the entire time, ms controlling ice winds." Hackmon shot back in a tired slur. "But I used to walk everywhere, and that's the point.
As she said this the Mega level walking in front of them towards where the wind was blowing from, placing her hand on the ground she slowly created a large wall in front of them, mostly to block the wind chill that came from that direction. "There see no more wind, you're welcome Luna." thanking herself, going as far to shake her own hand.
"Focus, we're supposed to be looking, this ain't a hike." Dust snapped at the two of them before quickly regretting it. "Sorry it's just. Y'know." Dust mumbled not wanting to explain further.

Note to self. Screw the Spyware Caverns. Screw them and their cryptic mazelike bullsh*t, and screw having to walk back through the damn tundra because the little exploration and mapping plan was well and truly screwed. Those tunnels were just too complex to be figured out. It was fortunate that Eva had left herself a trail and had been logging her route enough to manage to break free of the labyrinth. It was unfortunate though, that this particular exit was blocked by a massive snowdrift. The digimon sighed, reaching for a shovel. This was going to take ages to dig through but what other options did she have? Well after a good amount of digging, turned out she thought of an additional option, rolling up the sleeve of the thick fur lined coat she was wearing in an attempt to keep out the arctic chill, taking off one of her equally heavy duty gloves, and deploying her PDFLS.
Click... click, whirr... An electric whine filled the otherwise soundless cavern as the system readied itself, locking into place. Eva's shades flicked down automatically as the system charged and locked on to what she hoped would be a thinner section that would cause the snow to simply collapse giving her enough space to crawl free. But what happened when she fired the weapon? Well, other than tinnitus causing levels of noise reverberating throughout the tunnel system from the ionisation of the air the snow blocking the way out instantly flash vaporised causing the snow drift to basically explode outwards from the expanding gas. One hell of a way to make an exit.
Turned out this rather conveniently happened right near Dust and co. Not close enough to cover them in boiling water and snow, but certainly close enough to give them a good scare. Standing in the tunnel entrance was indeed a figure. So heavily covered in arctic clothing she could be pretty much anyone. However, the list of possible suspects for the case of the mysterious exploding snowbank was soon narrowed down quite a bit when the figure's arm quickly folded back from a laser system to a carbon fibre hand and forearm before she folded down her sleeve and put her glove back on. Not to mention the British accent she spoke in. Or more swore in. A lot. Seemed that whoever this was, she wasn't exactly expecting that to happen either.
She looked up. Most of her face was covered, but, her telltale cybernetic eyes complete with their "shades" eye protection, which were currently retracting back into her skull were very much visible. Not to mention the shape of her head itself. Eva was still a Renamon after all.

For now it wasn't so bad, the cold was the worst part but considering two of them were Mega level digimon and the other a fire type it didn't bother them as much. Just a nice relaxing sit in the icy wasteland and something just exploded didn't it. Quickly to his feet Dust automatically let one hand rest on his gun near his leg staring in the direction of the blast. Hackmon also got up quickly shaking a little. "Why every time we go places things explode." Dust simply shook his head. "Most of the time it's us blowing something up." With a small nod Hackmon sighed. "Fair point."
Though not all were ready to fight, one just so happened to have quickly ran behind Dust holding him outward like a shield. "Explosions, random explosions, ice shouldn't do that. Dust help." Obviously she had been startled by the explosions, though her reaction wasn't really one befitting someone who has the same strength as the one she's hiding behind. "Just calm down Luna." Dust told her shaking the Dianamon off before heading towards the source of the noise. "Don't leave what if I explode!" she shouted chasing after the Beelzemon. Hackmon however didn't and sat back down. "They'll be fine." he told himself watching the two mega level digimon leave.
The closeness of the explosion was a small blessing, after all he didn't have to go that far, and quickly running behind him, and into his back was once again Luna. The choices for the suspect were instantly narrowed down as something rather short was there, like half the size of Dust. Crossing his arms and taking a better look the shape of the figure seemed obvious, if not dressed strange. And some weird metal thing seemed attached and folding, and also familiar. With a confused look Dust simply asked. "Eva?" not knowing anyone else who looks the same. "Who?" Luna asked looking at Dust, forgetting Eva entierally.

"Dust?"
She put her hood up and loosened the large scarf she had on to reveal her face. Ayup, it was Eva. Clear as day. She still looked pretty much exactly like she did before in the old schoolhouse ruins apart from the fact that she wasn't out here in just a hoodie and jeans, instead wearing full human arctic gear in an attempt to stave off the cold. Despite not looking any different though, judging by that rather explosive entrance she was quite a bit more powerful than before, at least an evolution's worth from when their original encounter when she was a rookie.
"Sorry about the scare. I thought my laser would simply melt enough snow for me to crawl clear, not cause an explosion."
The British digimon stepped out of the cave, looking around as she put her hood back up and the scarf on to try and block some of the biting cold wind. "What brings you out here anyway?"

Yup it was Eva, were it anyone else she wouldn't know to say Dust, and the moving of the scarf just confirmed this idea. "Ah, I understand, so those parts of yours, they seem to be working better." Dust said looking around the area. "If this is any indication." Recalling last time she seemed on par with Hackmon, least she beat the chess digimon with him. "Wait Dust we know this Eva?" Luna asked still behind him, just in case. Y'know explosions. "Yes we have, man how can you not remember Luna." Dust asked looking at her confused. Despite Eva not changing Luna had. From her Ultimate form to her mega form Dianamon, looking far more humanoid then before holding a large weapon in her hand. "Ahh, well sorry I have a bad memory, nice to meet you again Eva." Luna said seemingly losing all her fear after a few seconds.
"As for why we are here, I'm looking for someone around here. A tall black and gold knight, Apparently he has been seen around here." Dust explained. "Yeah, we gotta find him because and fast, cause I'm hungry." Nice order of operations Luna. "Don't suppose you saw anyone like that from where you came from?" Dust decided to ask. "Also where did you come from anyway?" he followed up wondering why she just blasted a hole in the snow.

"My combat augmentations are now mostly functional. As for where I was. Spyware caverns. I have been trying to map some of the tunnels to get around faster. Place is a damn labyrinth though. Kept going around in circles until I had to well, improvise a way out through a disused entrance covered in snow. And nice to see you again as well Luna." Eva clenched and unclenched her fist as she mentioned her cybernetics. The hand giving a subtle whirr as the artificial muscles contracted and relaxed.
She raised a brow at the mention of the dark coloured knight. Black armour wasn't exactly good camouflage against the endless fields of white and with it apparently being of quite tall stature, that wouldn't help its capabilities to infiltrate. "Can't say I've seen someone like that around, no. I might be able to help in the search, my vision is augmented after all. Why are you looking for him?"

Dust looked at the hole before shaking his head. "Yeah I've heard of that place, stayed away from it since I figured it someone could map it out it would of happened by now, good thing you were able to get out." Dust shrugged not knowing why she would want to go through a area like that. "And combat functions huh? That's good, sadly most of the time those seem to be needed." Dust scrached the back of his head sighing after saying that, though that might of been more true for himself then her.
"As for why I'm looking for him, I might of said something like it before but, I have amnesia. Or at least some form of it. Woke up in the human world not even knowing what a digimon was. After all this time all I can recall is a girl and a digimon, the digimon I just described." Dust trailed off before shaking his head. "I've been asking around for a while, looked most places and this is the last place I can think of, if he ain't here he ain't nowhere." Though she did say she could help and most likely could do it. "If you're willing I'd enjoy any help I can get but, I would have to warn you I don't know my own relationship with them, friend, enemy. All I know is it's the last shot I have to understand this." Dust said holding up the broken pendant around his neck.

(First of all, I'm really sorry about taking so long to reply. Computer issues have been biting me -hard-. I'll try and post more often from now)
Eva glanced back at the big hole in the ground, before looking back to Dust.. "Either that, or the people who have the maps want to keep it a secret. Being able to travel quickly and undetected, not to mention with a minimal chance of being followed? That would be one heck of a tactical advantage." She nodded in agreement with the assessment about firepower seemingly being a necessary part of life in the digital world. It seemed too often that someone or something was trying to pick a fight. "Has certainly come in useful already, I can tell you that much."
"What would that digimon even be doing out here? Perhaps you just missed him at the previous places you went to?" She shrugged. "Either way, I have no issues with helping out. Seeing as that little exploration effort turned up fruitless. Thermal vision should work just fine, especially in these conditions." There was a subtle whirring noise. If Dust was paying close enough attention, he'd be able to see the little apertures and lenses in her synthetic eyes adjust as they switched modes. "Friend, foe, whatever. If he's anywhere near, this should pick him out."

Dust glanced back at the hole while Eva spoke, he had to admit she was right about that, if it could be mapped detection and speed often helped when starting a fight, and taking places over leading anywhere could help them out no matter what they were trying to take over. "That's true, plus considering how many people avoid this place all together and get lost fast when they come in, it'd be the last thing on most peoples minds to even check here." That was a scary thought, someone coming out of a place no one would expect. "Though that's just a rumor you two, for all anyone knows it leads back into the Northern Prominence." Luna chimes in, after all rumors could be true, or could be false. If it was true then it'd seem more likely something like that would of already happened once or twice in the past.
As to the question why that digimon would be out here in the cold Dust could only shrug. "Don't ask me, can't even remember the guy all to well." As for the other places Dust simply shook his head. "If he was he'd have to be either a master of stealth or the people around the areas have never heard anything about the them, I've asked around and no one has even heard of the digimon." Dust saw some small changes in her eye, had he not been looking straight at her he'd most likely of missed it. " Alright good, you seem confident enough." Dust gave a small smile glad he had someone who might have something that could help.
"Hey Dust, Luna, did you guys explode?" Hackmon shouted a little ways away, completely not caring if he was heard apparently. "Should Probably head back." Dust said motioning Eva to follow as Luna bounced off away from them.
Though unknown to the duo some being was around, not close enough to be easily seen by their eyes but not far enough away to be completely ignored, perhaps Eva had something that could tell them of the beings location.

Eva followed with the group. Would make sense that they would at least have some sort of shelter up, likely something more substantial than anything she had considering that there was a group with Shi, so, they would likely have something better than just what one person could carry on for a little exploration trip. "Fairly confident, yes. If whoever that is has any sort of body heat it's going to be easy to pick it up in these conditions."
Speaking of which, there was a red blot on her vision against the mostly solid dark blue background. "Got something." She pointed towards the direction of the signature. "Good distance away, can't quite make it out but that's the only thermal signature in the vicinity. Might be the guy you're looking for. Whatever it is, pretty sure it's watching us."

Dust looked back at Eva then at the direction of the apparent signature. No matter how hard he squinted his eyes towards them he couldn't see anything, so having Eva around was already starting to pay off since Dust was planning in going in the other direction. "The only signature huh, guess I wouldn't expect others to just be taking a stroll through the frozen wasteland. But watching us huh?" Would that make sense, after all Dust couldn't even see them so unless they had something like Eva, which Dust doubted, it might be safe to say that he was just standing there.
"Alright then." Dust said stopping for a little bit crouching down, Luna and Hackmon followed shorty afterward looking at Dust. "Like I said I have no idea what to expect of him, all I know is he would know me, so despite not knowing exactly who that is I would say we should be more careful then anything, since if he is what we're looking for he would be about as strong as me and Luna, if not stronger." Dust looking ahead towards the location, nothing but Ice and more Ice along the way, little to nothing for cover so can't expect that. "If he is watching us he might know Luna and Hackmon right now, so if they degenerate he wouldn't automatically assume this, so here's what I'd say we do."
Looking over at Eva he pulled out one gun from his holder near his leg handing it over. "You still have that stealth thing right? If so I'd say you should come with me around the side, I can't be sensed by normal means and you'd be invisible. So we should go around out of his line of sight while Luna and Hackmon go forward in order to scope it out, if he attacks automatically we take him down, if he talks first we'll wait and see what he has to say, agreed?" Dust asked mostly Eva instead of Luna or Hackmon, knowing they would go along with his plan. "Or if you have a better idea say it now.

"Spectre optical camouflage, yeah. Sounds like a plan." She took the weapon, testing its weight looking down the sight to check the alignment and checking how many rounds were loaded before lowering it into a more casual stance. Seemed she knew what she was doing with firearms judging by the way she was holding and checking the weapon over. She remained locked on to the thermal signature in the distance, charging the capacitors in her PDFLS which was still folded up inside her arm so it would be ready to fire at a moments notice.
"Okay, I'm ready. Let's do this. I can only keep it online for a limited amount of time, so, I'll activate it when needed."

Spectre Optical Camouflage? Well whatever that was it sure sounded impressive at the very least, so Dust was just gonna roll with that as being a good thing, he saw the way she was looking at his gun, checking it and all that and seemed pretty good at holding the weapon, though he wasn't so sure she'd be able to do the same thing as him it would most likely be best to have mega level gun, after all this guy could be stronger then him potentially. "Alright then." Giving a small nod he looked over at Luna and Hackmon who had gone back to their previous forms, Hackmon to Bao Hackmon and from Dianamon to Crescemon. "Luna, make sure Hackmon's safe, Noire would kill me if he got hurt." Luna instead responded with a hug surprising the Beelzemon. "It's fine, I know what I'm doing." Breaking away she started walking over to the large digimon in the distance.
Dust stood there for a second before shaking his head. "Alright then, lets go Eva." Going the a bit to the left to break the line of sight the opposition might have on them he started in circling around the digimon.
Though the digimon in question hadn't moved a little bit, standing there tall and imposing eyes closed instead of scanning the distance. He only opened them when he heard the sound of a explosions earlier and had been staring at the distance for some time, for one reason or anything expecting something to come of it, though he couldn't of expected a Ultimate and Champion to walk over. Watching them he simply shook his head sighing at the sight cluching something in his hand, though had Eva been watching while they went into position she might of noticed or seen that the object the knight held, was something from the human world.

Eva waited for a bit before activating the cloak, the digimon vanishing in a subtle wave of orange light. It was almost as though Dust was standing alone, as she was keeping completely silent. Stealth after all, was something she was an expert in, even without the cybernetics she would have been hard to detect.
She set herself up into a firing position behind a snowbank, providing some concealment should this meeting turn sour, trying to figure out just what that figure was, and what he was holding. By this point, she had switched off her thermal optics to get a clearer picture and was trying to figure out just what this guy was holding in his hand.

Dust looked over at Eva, or where Eva was since even he couldn't see her, he was right that stealth thing was actually pretty good. Ignoring that for now he himself moved silently as well, for such a large figure he was quite adept at not making much noise, while she set herself up near that snowbank Dust instead got on one knee lowering his position, his large figure and black body wasn't exactly the best for sneaking around here but there was nothing he could do about that. Grasping his gun he slowly charged it with a massive amount of dark energy, though kept it in his holster with his hand on it ready to draw at a moments notice.
Luna and Hackmon came across the large digimon, Luna scratched the back of her head, time to play it cool, be naturally. "Wow you are tall, like really tall." Luna felt the need to point out, being only her Ultimate form now she was a lot shorter, same for Hackmon. "I, thank you?" The knight answered in a confused voice looking down on the two of them. "What are you doing here though, There's someone living near the base of the mountain if you're lost, she helps strangers wandering around." The Alphamon pointed in a direction but Luna and Hackmon shook their heads. "Oh no, we were just checking to make sure you weren't crazy, or evil. Or evilly crazy." Luna put it bluntly as Hackmon waved in a direction he thought Dust and Eva were in.
Seeing as they weren't attacked yet, and Hackmon waving Dust looked at Eva. "Seems alright, stay here though. I'll check it out." Dust said standing up and slowly walking over, he seemed to be going slower then normal though, as if he didn't want to go. Though he didn't have to go far before the digimon turned around, hearing approaching footsteps. "And another one, doesn't anyone know how dangerous this place can be." He stopped as soon as he saw the Beelzemon though, staring at him. Then the pendent around his neck before dropping what was in his hand, a broken pendent just like the one around Dust's neck.
Then without any movement at all, in a instant it appeared Dust was sent flying backward into the snow as the Digimon's cape flew back with the sheer force he just unleashed. "DUST!" Luna shouted running in front of the Beelzemon as he slowly got up, the two blocked the Beelzemon from further attack. "Dust, you dare." He said rolling his hand into a fist.
