Hazy Revelations [JunJun]

Wait, Jun was worried about him getting hurt? Shaking his head, the teen lifted up a hand to dismiss the attention. "I'm fine! Really!" Sure, he was probably going to be sore tomorrow, but for the time being, he was pretty alright!
But, it definitely looked like any marbles that Junjo had were completely gone, after a short while. Did he land on his head? "I don't know," the redhead stated, bluntly, "probably something destined for something digital?" Yes. Very helpful. But, if terms like Digivice and Digimon were anything to go on, it probably had something to do with this world! But, did that make Junjo one of those? "Why are you aski-- hey," realizing that the other man probably wasn't even paying attention, Asher scrambled to his feet. "Jun--Jun, where are you going?" Oh no, this didn't look good! The guy was just kind of talking to himself, wasn't he?
Asher certainly didn't hear anything!
And, anyone agreeing that they wanted to be free, to a mysterious entity, did not sound like someone in their right mind! The fall must have been the last straw! Reaching out, the redhead went to place a hand firmly on Junjo's shoulder. "Hey! What did I say about walking off and getting hurt?" This was how bad things happened! Even if it did look pretty, it could easily be an Angler-Fish-like Digimon, or something!

Junjo couldn't hear Asher, only the voice of the entity speaking with him. He continued on until Asher tried to stop him, placing a firm hand on his shoulder and talking some sense into him, or trying to at least.
I've been so lonely. Stuck here. I just want to be free. Free from this place, free to be myself!
"Free. . .to be yourself. . ." Junjo could relate to that one. He just kept trying to move forward, towards the pretty light as the other lights surrounded them. They seemed to have life in them, fluttering around with personalities of their own.
You can be free with me, Junjo. You'll find me where diamonds eclipse the sun, beyond the light at the end of this cavern. If you can make it here, you will have proven yourself to me. Come to me and we will be one.
Junjo dropped his hand, seeming confused. "Asher?. . . What--what happened?" The little lights suddenly darted off past the bright ligh that was shining so fiercely as the cavern rumbled.
Grrrrgh Something growled.
"The. . the voice. .I think it was trying to tell me something. . but my head is a little fuzzy all of a sudden...wh-what the heck is that noise!?"

Asher could honestly say that he had no idea what was happening. Is this why normal people didn't usually visit this world? It would make a lot of sense! Rather than letting Junjo move too close to the lights, Asher kept his hold on the man's shoulder firm, in some hopes of keeping him moderately in place. At least, he hoped it would be enough! Asher really didn't want to have to pin down a grown man, just to stop him from chasing down shiny lights!
After Junjo had finally become responsive, the redhead let out a loud exhale. "I was hoping that you'd tell me. You just tried wandering off!" That was the opposite of what he was supposed to do! They were supposed to stay close, and nobody was supposed to die! Was Junjo just trying to get himself killed?
...Suddenly, Asher might be seeing how Isaac viewed the redhead in certain situations. Okay, so maybe he couldn't get too frustrated over this.
Body tensed, hearing something else within the area. "This is getting better every second," he mumbled, sarcastically. Everyone was going to die, weren't they?Asher was so not equipped for missions that involved protecting random innocents! "I don't know if you should listen to that voice, I'm going to be honest," the teen started, still managing to wear a smile. Don't let anyone know you're panicking. That would be the best way to make everything fall apart faster than it already was!
"But, I'm pretty sure that sound isn't a friendly one. We should probably leave. Now."

"I'm sorry it just pulled me! I-I--!" He tried to explain but it seemed as though they had little time left for such explanations. The Cavern started to quake even more as a loud roar bellowed from behind them.
Junjo took Asher's hand and nodded his head. "Okay--let's go!" He started to run. It was his fault they were in this mess, he wasn't going to let anything happen to Asher.
Not so fast, humans! The roar now became a deep and raspy voice that echoed from the darkness in the cavern. Before long a bright flash illuminated the the end of the cavern where they had falled, illuminating its hulking form as it shouted its attack.
GIGA-SHOCKER!! The blast of purple lightning exploded towards them. What were they going to do? Junjo was panicking, yelling as he tried to run faster.
"Aggggh!"

It would have been nice if they had time to talk over the dangers of wandering off, but right now was definitely not a good point for that! Before he could even think to respond, he found Junjo pulling him along. Trying not to stumble, the teen followed after, debating on what to do.
Or, at least debating until a voice filled the air. Of course it was going to actually be a Digimon that was interested in them. And not in a good way! Slipping his hand free from Junjo's, he gave the teal-haired man a small push to encourage him not to slow down. "Keep moving."
Idiot. He should have digivolved sooner than this! Coding pulsed outward from his hand again, warping to circle around his entire body, before the young man could even decide what his course of action was going to be. "Antylamon," he mumbled, as the data formed a mirror-like shell, before crumbling away to reveal a rapid 'wardrobe' change.
Uncurling itself, large feet placed themselves onto the ground, while the rabbit gave an irritated click from the back of its throat. Making sure to position itself in a way to block the attack from coming close to Junjo, the Holy Beast provided a retort of, "Mantra Chant." A glow of panels padding the creature would surely help the feeling of an electrical blast smashing into it!
Which, for a small part, it really did! Giving a shudder, Antylamon slouched a little, before bending backwards to look toward Junjo. He'd better be running still, darn it. Otherwise, she was going to get so annoyed! But, once the analysis was made, she'd return her focus to the attacker, and keeping herself between it and the human boy! "Don't get stepped on," she warned, over her shoulder. If she was protecting someone, just for them to go off and die, she was going to be livid!

Junjo looked back with wide eyes as he flet Asher's hand leave his grip and press against his back, pushing him forward in an attempt to keep him out of harms away. Junjo wanted to run, to keep running and never look back, but he couldn't leave the redhead.
"A-Asher no!" Junjo cried out, thinking that the male was sacrificing himself fully to the blast of the beam. He stared in horror for a moment, but then, something changed, his body was surrounded by that odd fractal code, and the strange pulsing smoke. Then from a shiny shell a new creature emerged. "Spirit. . .?" he said in shock almost. This must've been what Asher was talking about.
It was a strange creature, tall and lanky, with a feminine voice. It seemed so powerful to be able to withstand a hit from a beam like that. It bent its body back, which sort of creeped Junjo out, but he nodded to it. .him. . .her. . .? He nodded and jumped out of the way, through the wall of light and around the corner. Just in time to as Megakabuterimon seemed determined to end them both now.
WHAT?! A spirit user!? It roared. Raging Horn Attack! It charged up, its horn glowing red as it flew forward, its buzzing wings making the entire cave tremble.
Junjo heard it from the other side of the cavern wall. He covered his head as he hunkered down and looked around. He wasn't in a cavern anymore. There was more greenery, but the colors of the plants were different, a Forest instead of the jungle they had just been in. He saw something glimmering in the distance, it looked a bit like a shrine, nestled in an alcove surrounded by diamonds.
"As-Antylamon! Be careful!"

Scrunching her nose, the rabbit lazily uprighted herself, looking toward the monster that was being such a pain. "You're so loud," she commented to the insect, tilting her head to the side. Stretching her arms out, they began to digitize and reconstruct.
But first, it would be rude to completely ignored the concerned human that her host had dragged into this mess. Oh, she was going to absolutely torment Asher for being this reckless! Then again, did she really have room to complain? "Being careful is boring. How can you enjoy anything if you're too cautious?" She inquired toward the teen, feeling her limbs forming into axes. Okay, definitely no room to complain about bad life choices! Was she even going to dodge? Of course not! Where would the fun be, there? I've been wanting to hit something for a very long time." It seemed that spirits might have a little bit of pent up rage after being trapped in a totem for god-knows how long!
"Bunny Blades," she breathed, whirling her body rapidly with axes outstretched. It seemed that the rabbit had all intents to try to swing at least one of her axe-arms into the MegaKabuterimon's horn! Though, there was no way to properly time this whirlwind, so there held some chance that it could cause more damage than it would take!
As long as Junjo got away, though, the Ultimate didn't really care. Without any other concerns on the field, she could be as reckless as she wanted! Or, realize just how rusty she actually was! For Asher's sake, hopefully she still had her fighting skills down-pat!

"LOUD? YOU HAVEN'T SEEN LOUD YET GIRLY!" The Black-Megakabuterimon suddenly sounded like a mobster from an old movie, but he still charged forward with that blitzing red horn.
Junjo watched, though he couldn't see too well until the creature got closer to his savior, if he could call her that. The red horn illuminating her as it got dangerously closer. The creature charged into her attack, bunny blades colliding with the thick carapace of the beetle and and chipping his horn.
"Grrr, that's MY HORN YOU FILTHY SPIRIT!" It roared as it pushed against her with its mass. "INSECT RALLY!" It cried out in this horrible screeching sound and suddenly Junjo found himself more concerned with the rustling he heard in the forest below. A loud screech echoed back and a huge red bug flew up out of the forest.
Junjo's eyes were wide with alarm as a Kuwagamon started to head for him. "Ahhhh!!! ASHER!"
Come to me Junjo. Hurry! The strange voice beckoned to him, and he jumped down from the rock he had settled on and slid down the back, just in time too as the Kawagamon crashed into the side of the mountain.
Black-Kabuterimon roared at it. "BE CAREFUL YOU IDIOT I'M STILL IN HERE!" It began to beat its wings, pushing harder against Antylamon in hopes to knock them out of the cave.
"Oh no, oh no, oh no. This is not good, not good at all!" Junjo complained as he made it down and began running through the forest towards the shrine he had seen in the distance.
Kuwagamon huffed and turned around, buzzing its way after the tear haired boy.
"Your friend is mence meat now~ Ahahahaha!" Black-Kabuterimon insisted.

The rabbit's eyes rolled, unfortunately being forced to hear the insect's shouting. "You're right. I haven't seen noise at all. But, I can certainly hear it." Oh, don't be so condescending! But, at least she felt as though there was some payback for this earbleeding, once her attack had caused a little damage! "I do not believe I'm the filthy one here." Even Antylamon's host was quite clean, considering! Which, the Beast had to admit, she was thankful for. Bracing herself for the next move, red eyes narrowed at the bug. "You're quite the pest," she pointed out, irritably. Even more irritation spreading, as she could hear the human's distress call. "Do you really have nothing better to do with your lives?" Antylamon huffed, sliding her feet back in attempts to gain space between herself and the insect, without flat-out falling. Still, she couldn't help but feel herself slipping toward the exit of the cave. The only advice she could think to provide the teal haired man was, "do not stop running." Where he was going was beyond her, but it couldn't be any worse location than if he were to halt now! With any luck, he'd find a little hiding space, or something! As long as it could keep him from dying while she was clearly preoccupied! Either way, she was forced to focus on the closest monster, first. "Well, if you insist that he's a lost cause," the Ultimate commented, body beginning to slump slightly, "then, there's no reason for me to be gentle with you to keep him safe." Maybe, that should be a sign that the Black MegaKabuterimon should take caution! But, as one last note, the monster tilted her head, hearing the shouting at it's comrade. Reaching out, she attempted to grip onto the enemy's chipped horn, to shove his face toward the ground. "Why does everyone want to be careful? You're in the Digital World. And, as someone who has seen another world, I can knowingly state that this world is better suited for Bloodlust." Surely, the enemy would soon realize the mistake of trying to make someone lose hope. Unfortunately for Black Megakabutermon, it would be far too late to take back those words.
Antylamon has activated Bloodlust. Bloodlust: Drawing up a more primal instinct, the user triggers the 'fight' part of Fight or Flight. Akin to the feeling of an adrenaline rush, they will gain a 30% attack boost, while their speed/reaction time increases slightly. The downfall of this is a 15% decrease to their defense, and an overall lack of logical thinking. This means that, once Bloodlust is activated, making plans for the fight is out the window, and allies run the risk of being mistaken as enemies if they get too close. The effects of this move may be ended early in the case that the user has enough control of themselves to stop it, or they have become immobilized. Unswayed cannot stack with Bloodlust and will deactivate while it is in use. Duration: Three Posts; Cooldown: Three Posts.

Junjo's feet hammered into the soft ground beneath him, brightly colored foliage racing past him as he ran towards the voice that was calling him. He could hear the buzzing wings of the angry Kuwagamon chasing after him, rustling leaves and stirring up dust!
He ran further into the dense forest to try and conceal himself from the huge insect which seemed to have nothing to say, just mindlessly followign Black-Megakabuterimon's call.
Speaking of, the huge bug in the cave snarled as its head was shoved into the ground. It roared, quickly thrashing its head in resistance, it's arms flailing as it stopped caring about the integrity of the cave. His wings thumped against the walls as the beat heavily.
"Graagh!! ELECTRIC SHELL!" It covered its body in a powerful current of electricity in an attempt to get Antylamon off it's case!
Meanwhile Kuwagamon barreled into the ground, smashing a crater into the forest floor which Junjo barely dodged by jumping to the side. He fell and scraped his palms and knees. He forced himself up and noticed a shining section of crystals . "That must be the shrine!" He started, before a smaller digimon popped up with a club in its hand. An Orcmon, ready to cause some mischief and standing in his way.
"Heh, if it ain't a human comin' to my humble abo--!"
Junjo grimaced. "I don't have time for this!" He insisted, looking back to see that Kuwagamon was finally starting to collect itself after clacking its head on the forest floor. "I'm sorry!" He insisted, grabbing a nearby branch and whacking the rookie digimon with it!
"Youch!" It complained, grabbing its noggin and giving Junjo free reign to run into the shrine.
There it was, a totem, sitting on a pedestal surrounded by glittering gems, it resembled a fairy. The orbs of light that had been hovering in the cave now around this weird altar as well.
So, you made it after-all. I knew it. I could tell that you were special. Even without power like your friend, you overcame adversity. Now, raise the totem from the pedestal and hold me close to your heart.
There was that voice again. Junjo didn't hesitate. He knew that he needed to do this, somehow. He raised the totem to his heart and closed his eyes as warmth took him over, a bright green light enveloping him and gleaming so brilliantly that it could be seen shining even into the cave at the top of the slope. When he opened them, he was confused, as everything seemed a lot higher up than it had before. "Hm?. . .The totem is gone. . .and that big Digimon is up! I can hear it rustling outside!"
He didn't feel brave at all, or any stronger now. Was something supposed to have happened? He grabbed the sides of his head anxiously and felt something odd. His ears were pointed now. "Wha--?" He rushed over to a larger crystal and stared into it. He wasn't himself anymore. He was. . something else. he heard it in his head, what he was called now. "Sprixiemon?. .Th-this is! I look like the fairy totem! A-Am I. . .a spirit. . like Asher?" He became distracted with his reflection for a moment, trying to process it all.

While normally, the rabbit would have taken caution to the electricity sparking from its opponent's body, it seemed that the beast was unconcerned. Static pulsed over the rabbit, causing involuntary spasms, before she let go. Still, there was no sound that escaped from the Digimon. No pain, irritation, or snarky remarks. Nose scrunched slightly, in what could either be interpreted as a smile or a grimace. How would the opponent view this? Red eyes glittered with a spark of their own, feet briefly touching the ground, before one lifted to swing at the shocking insect! With explosive force behind it, the Ultimate didn't seem to care if the connection would cause a terrible sensation of more electricity! It was going to happen anyway! The monster didn't even announce Rabbit's Foot's attack title, in her hurry to strike. The goal was to win, regardless of cost. After all, wasn't there something she was supposed to be protecting? Rather, someone she should be eliminating. To remove the threat would solve the issue. That would be the objective. Finally, a small growl emitted from the rabbit's throat, vibrating across the Antylamon's body. Rabbits were not designed to create such an intimidating sound. The feeling was almost dizzying, as Asher felt the body drift into a sort of haze. While prior, he had been capable of at least seeing what the beast was doing, now everything held a deep red hue, and seemed filled with static. This wasn't the logical monster that he had thought to pass strength to! It almost felt as if he was weighted in place, unable to step in now that the fight had pressed to this level. A need for concern washed over the redhead, watching vision fade in and out. It was painfully obvious that he was not in control.
Bloodlust is in effect, granting heightened attack and slightly increased reaction time. Defense is reduced. Duration: 1 out of 3 posts.
Rabbit's Foot: Channeling explosive energy into it's feet, Antylamon delivers a rapid yet powerful kick.
Antylamon took the full affect of Electric Shell and is risking it still being in affect for Rabbit's Foot's strike. Due to adrenaline, she seems relatively unphased. Bloodlust's defense reduction has granted Electric Shell extra damage, however.

"Graagh!" The digimon roared in pain as Antylamon's swift attack struck it up against the cave wall. He roared as he tried to get up again. "How the hell are you so strong! You're just a stupid rabbit!" He screamed, its horn glowing red again as it tried to rush out of the cave away from her and to help out the Kuwagamon that was pestering Junjo. "RAGING HORN ATTACK!" This one was a bit stronger than the last, with its aims to free itself from the confines of the stony cavern. Meanwhile Sprixiemon poked his head out from the alter. "That's not good. . ." it mumbled but then an idea flooded into its head. A good way to get the creature to stop poking its pincers into the opening was an attack! One that he wasn't sure how he knew the name of it. "Fairy Barrage!" He called out and a blast of colorful light orbs exploded against the larger digimon's mandible. Kuwagamon grumbled and stepped back from the altar, allowing Sprixiemon to speed out of there, quite literally as it zoomed past the huge bug and hovered above the treeline. His body had a soft green glow to it, though he wasn't going to question it. "Haha, take that you over-sized jerk!" Sprixiemon spat mischievously, sticking out his tongue and making faces at the champion level digimon. It seemed his personality was a bit different than Junjo's. What the rookie level spirit didn't realize however was how open his back was to the possible Ultimate level digimon about to charge out of the cave.
Fairy Barrage: Summons 5-6 glowing, multi-colored fairies to swarm the enemy, of which explode on contact. 1 post duration. 1 post cooldown.
Using Fairy Barrage, Sprixiemon has activated its Combat Passive:
Spritely-Using fairy abilities triggers Sprixiemon's speed boost, increasing its speed by 25%. Duration 2 posts. Cooldown 2 posts.

Reaching what was likely considered the peak of sanity loss, the rabbit tilted its head. Nose scrunched, as if the beast was grinning. Of course, that was because she really was! "Heh," a soft chuckle lifted from the creature's throat. As long as she could continue to inconvenience this monster, she was perfectly content! At least, until she could cause enough 'inconveniences' to the point that he would be little more than speckles of data, that was. Leaning away, she gave the insect exactly what it thought that it wanted. An escape to go help its friend! But, perhaps risking turning its back on Antylamon was unwise. As soon as the creature's Horn Attack would shove him past her, she lifted her arms up. Black orbs pooled out from her skin, appearing to harden more as they jettisoned forward. Their target was obvious. The Black Megakabuterimon that had already given her such a hassle. After all, wasn't it better to let someone feel a little freedom before everything would come crashing down? If the enemy didn't notice the attack headed directly toward him, he would be in for an awful surprise once the projectiles reached him, considering they were tiny bombs, just waiting for a chance to detonate! And, while an unnamed attack may be considered stealthy in some sense, the snickering that the Ultimate-level spirit was making surely made it clear that she hadn't let him go without intending to!

Kuwagamon snarled at the Fairy and headed towards him as well. "Kaaaah!" It roared, not quite as skilled with its vocabulary as the stronger digimon that had summoned it.
Black-Kabuterimon snickered as he rushed out of the cave, his sights now set on the small fairy digimon floating around above the trees. "Gyahahaha! I don't know who you are but you'd better not get in my way kid! ELECTRIC SHELL!"
Sprixiemon wasn't too scared of the red bug at first, but he widened his eyes as he heard the voice behind him turning to see the huge jaws of Black-kabuterimon coming right for him. "Oohhhhh nooo! Uh--I gotta go! Hehehehe, buh-bye!"
The black insect was going to chase after him, however he was bombarded in the back by Antylamon's attacks. The digimon cried in pain and staid forward, crashing into the Kuwagamon and taking both of them down to the ground.
Sprixiemon wiped his brows, thanks to Antylamon and his own speed he managed to escape unscathed. "Bleeeeeh! That's what you get losers!" The digimon teased, blowing raspberries and the like at the two creatures, of which now had fragments of data falling off of them. They weren't long for this world now.
He looked around while the big digis took some time to recover. "Hmmm, where did that attack come from anyway?" He questioned with on hand on his hip and the other shielding his eyes from the sun while he searched.

Bullseye.
The expression of enthusiasm further scrunched the bunny's nose, as she continued to occasionally emit a small cackle. So her prey had honestly thought it was going to escape? That was cute. It had only sweetened the situation more when it crashed into its ally, and seemed to remove both from fighting conditions!
Still under the curse of her own moves, the thought-deteriorated monster stepped toward the group. At least the effects were beginning to wane already, as she neared Junjo and the opponents. Body swaying slightly, Antylamon moved in an almost drunken fashion toward the two that already had their data floating upward, before lifting her foot to plant it on top of them. Surely, if they were still conscious, they would begin to feel an unpleasant amount of pressure!
Oh. She had missed this. If only she could continue such antics forever!
But, time wasn't on the spirit's side. As one last wave of bloodlust tried to force itself through her data, the Ultimate leaned toward Junjo, reaching out. Initially, the motion was fast, swiping, and appeared that she intended to strike him. But, it halted before an overly concerning amount of clearance was made, and ultimately couldn't connect.
The move had worn off.
"I see that you survived." And, surely, Junjo would see that he was still talking with Antylamon. "How does it feel to carry the soul of another?" Was it a good feeling, to obtain a spirit for the first time? Was it exciting? Was it exhausting?
Antylamon was definitely erring on the side of exhausting already! After all, she couldn't maintain control of her host for very long. Especially when his time limit for consent was almost out!
