An Alphamon walked behind a young man with black hair and sealed left arm. If someone saw that they'd probably think that he suffer from chuunibyou, but that wasn't the case. Itou Yuuki, 16, his physical age has somehow accelerated to 20 years old for a reason that is strange even for him. His left arm has turned into biometal. His muscles does not degrade, but it doesn't grow either. His joints unfortunately lacked the support needed to move that new arm smoothly, hence leading to making his whole arm hurting so bad the moment he moved it. Although he was told that it will heal eventually, it has not. He feared that this might be actually worse than how he think it is. His desperation leads him to come here.
In this place where technology is abundant, especially because inorganic digimons that lived in it, he and his partner put their hope that somehow, there is something that can heal him... here, he just want to see if there is anything that can make him get to top form again. Hikaru already returned to his top form as Alphamon. Just one more step. One more step and they'll get back to that form. However, if they go back to that form... and they somehow still in this sorry state, then there won't be telling what would happened after this....
".............................When can we return to the battlefield?" Yuuki muttered. Hikaru decided to against commenting that.
They have checked themselves with Andromon in the mall, but... all that he said that he can't even understand what's wrong with their Digivice. He suggested to go to the [Digivice Researcher] that lives in the depth of this place. Leaving the civilization, Yuuki and Hikaru goes down deeper to the underground...

Stingmon soars through the skies with Dante on his back. They have set out towards the Hardware Den seeking information about a renegade Tamer. Dante is wearing a black and red jacket and sporting a much shorter blonde haircut. "I think we are almost there. Fly a little lower." Stingmon descends through the clouds. They reach a land filled with solar panels and wind mills all over. "Wow, it's like an alternative energy fantasy." "Where does all that power go to?" "Let's find out."
Stingmon lands on the ground, and they make their way down to the underground city. With any luck, someone will know of a computer mainframe with the information they seek. Dante takes out his digivice and scans the area. "Very strange readings. Probably because of all the machines and computers." "Okay, two things. We get something to eat, and then we kick some butt!" "We're not here to start a needless battle." "Well can we at least eat first? Flying takes a lot out of you." "Alright, let's eat." Dante and Stingmon stop at a roadside snack stand and buy some muffins. Several cybernetic Digimon are walking down the path. Maybe they will run into somebody they know.

OOC: I'll be joining this thread with Owen. Logan is present as an NPC.
"Daddy... are we lost?"
"Not at all, Logan! It's just... uh... a shortcut! Yeah"
Owen was running through the Western region in his Gaogamon form. Riding on his back was a small Offmon named Logan. This Offmon was in fact the son of Owen and his boyfriend Hikaru, at least coming from the data that they had shared. And Owen had hoped to spend some time with him, promising Logan's partner Tadao that he would take care of him.
Owen had originally hoped to take Logan to Rustport, but, unfortunately, he seemed to have taken a wrong turn somewhere. And so here he was at the Hardware Den, trying to find the way back.
However, on the way here, he had picked up a familiar scent. There were others in here, and they weren't machine digimon. Hopefully they could at least give Owen directions. The Gaogamon wondered how he could best ask for them without losing face with Logan, who thought he was awesome.
Eventually, Owen caught up with them. And he saw that they were in fact Yuuki and... "Hikaru!" he called, happily. He bounded over to the Alphamon. "What are you doing here? It's great to see you!" he said, his tail wagging.
"Daddy!" Logan cheered, delighted to see Hikaru as well. He then sniffed the air and turned around. "Oh? There's more people down here"

"Let's take a break," Hikaru suggested. Having going inside this maze, he's not even sure anymore where is this Digivice researcher should be. The opinion of the public is divided into half. Some said that they're tricked, another said that they're on the right place, but they have no exact idea where this researcher is. Meanwhile, Yuuki's Digivice just stayed silent... Well, it makes sense. This is Digital World and there are tons of human here. There's no way that his Digivice would let out any signal--or so he thought.
"...Purple?" Yuuki muttered as he looked at his Digivice. There are purple dot instead the usual toneless yellow, which indicates that this is someone related to him. His Digivice afterall gave code color to all his friends. He himself is black with golden touch. At first he thought that it's Aria, the only girl with purple tone in his friendlist, but turned out...
"Heh, this is awkward," Hikaru muttered, scratching his helmeted cheek before turning around. "Well, hello there dear, and our son too~" He proceed to ruffle Logy's fur. "Indeed, there are more people around, Logy, but it's best to not approach strangers suddenly unless you're at higher level, but don't worry, your pops gonna take care of you kiddo~ And we're here to look for someone called Digivice researcher, Owen. We're looking for way to heal Yuuki's arm, you see... What are you guys doing here, though? I mean, outside is quite hot. Over here is cooler because the town's cooling system, but still..."
"Are you lost?" Yuuki asked.
"Heh, no way he would lost. i mean, he found me. I think his subconsciousness just pulled to me somehow~ I think this is a fine chance to rest, though!" Hikaru suggested. "There's a muffin shop there--"
"...Why muffin?" Yuuki muttered.
"Hell if I know. I mean, this place is full of inorganic Digimon, maybe they thought that people were expecting to bring their own food, but they don't have time to get dessert, so dessert should sell well here."
...Guess that's a fine explanation enough. "Strawberry muffin for three?"
"And usual chocolate muffin for one," Yuuki added. "Might as well as getting some tea."
"Fine proposal." The Alphamon proceed to order that to the clerk and sit beside... uh, a man and his Stingmon? Whatever the case was, he put Logy on his lap. Yuuki make a spot for Owen and instead took the spot beside the Gaogamon.

Dante and Stingmon continue to enjoy their muffins. "You know what would make these even better? If you put melted cheese on top of it. Mmm oh ya." "You want to put cheese on everything." Inorganic Digimon continue passing by. To Dante's surprise, some Digimon that look like they are from out of town stop for some muffins. There's a tall knight Alphamon, alongside a young man with black hair. It appears something has happened to his arm. With them are Gaogamon and a little pup Offmon.
"Hey there, what brings you all the way to the hardware den? This is our first time here." "Hiya guys! My name's Wormmon, but you can call me super awesome Worm King Wormmon." "Ya, nobody is calling you that, little buddy. And you are in your Stingmon form right now, you goof." "Wow, I've never seen these Digimon before. You guys must have some kind of crazy powers. Wait a minute, are you guys like a family?" Dante notices the cute little Offmon. How exactly do Digimon reproduce? I mean, Dante knows about digi eggs, but he never really wondered about what parenting is like for Digimon. Well, raising a Digimon can feel like parenting.
"Hey, do you know where all that power is going to? All those solar panels and windmills, it must be powering some mega computer." Dante can't even get good connection to the internet at his house. He drifts off and imagines having all this high tech computer equipment and playing games online. "Hey Dante, what are we doing here again?" "Just looking for information on a Tamer that went rogue. I wouldn't mind getting someone to upgrade my dang phone." Dante might not know where to start asking around, but if he travels with people who know the area better he might run into someone who can answer a few questions.

Logan chuckled as Hikaru patted him. The Offmon jumped up on to Hikaru's shoulder, perching himself on the Alphamon with a pleased expression.
"We're here 'cause Daddy said he was taking a shortcut!" Logan said, brightly. "We're going to Rustport".
"Er..." Owen realized that he might be able to tell Logan that this was a shortcut, but he probably wouldn't be able to say the same to Yuuki and Hikaru. "Yes, that was the, erm, original idea..."
"That's okay, daddy, I knew you were lost the whole time" Logan said, snickering at the Gaogamon. Owen lowered his head and sighed guiltily. "But I wasn't gonna panic because I could smell my other papa, hehe!"
"Well, at least that's alright then..." Owen said, looking up again. He looked delighted at the prospect of strawberry muffins though. "Ooh, really? That'd be awesome" he said, surprised that there was such a place here. Maybe it was for the organic work crews that were in the area? If that's how the place worked. Ah well, best not think about it too much...
Logan was thrilled as he was waiting. Wow, Hikaru was so awesome! He could digivolve to Mega level, and a Royal Knight digimon too?! Wow, he was so proud. Maybe he'd have to encourage Owen to train to reach his mega level too? The Offmon daydreamed a little, picturing what kind of digimon he'd evolve into. A beast knight perhaps? Yeah, that sounded wicked. Although Logan would have to spend time with Tadao if it was him going to evolve.
Owen meanwhile took an awkward seat next to Yuuki. Well, as a Gaogamon he could hardly use the chairs provided so he just sat on his haunches on the floor.
"Hello super awesome King Wormmon!" Logan said, waving at the Stingmon. He turned to the human. "Yep! We're a happy family" he said, smiling.
"Yep" Owen agreed, giving a proud grin. Even though he wasn't aware of how it happened exactly, he could tell from Logan's scent that his data seemed to be part from him and part from Hikaru. "I'm Owen and this is Logan" he introduced themselves.
Owen then wondered what the windmills were powering. Yes, it all seemed to be some sort of mystery. "Yeah, it could be that" he agreed. "Or it could be powering Rustport maybe?" he added as a suggestion.
"Or even as far away as Terminus?" Logan added. "It's a big city with a lot of gadgets, no? Even if it's far away, there could be wires going all the way there!"
"Heh, that could be right" Owen grinned, petting Logan gently with his animated scarf.
So then, Yuuki and Hikaru were here looking for a specialist that could fix Yuuki's arm, while Dante and Stingmon were here looking for a rogue tamer? That sounded exciting, and way more important than Owen's purpose here. Hopefully it wouldn't be too dangerous for Logan though.

Hikaru just chuckled. "Logy is a sharp kid, Owen. best to not lie to him, yes?" Hikaru chided slightly, but made sure that instead of scolding it's more to a playful nudge. "Plus let's just enjoy the muffin, shall we? All that matters is that the family is together now."
Someone seem to greet them for chitchat. Yuuki was quite surprised, mainly because he's not ready still to have someone suddenly came to him and started to chat... but that's not exactly a problem he guessed. He nodded in greeting. "Just some business with someone here..." it's not the other human's problem, so Yuuki will not comment on the exact nature of his visit here. Hikaru made an unknown sign language with a hand that Yuuki nodded to.
"I'll call you Ali," Hikaru joked. "Sting like a bee, although you're not a bee! Strong, eh..." he looked at his son and Owen. "...Well, I guess you can say so. Not as strong as how we are in the past though... Yeah, we're family. I'm Hikaru... and that's my partner Yuuki. This cute tyke here is my and Owen's son Logan... Owen is my... I guess we should formalize it already, Babe. When's the marriage date?" he teased Owen.
The power? Yuuki shook his head on both Logan and Owen's theory. "Well, no, I don't think it goes to Rustport. Rusport itself doesn't need that lot of electricity... maybe it goes there, but just very small part of it, like less than a percent? Terminus have their own power source if I remember it correctly. It's about a quarter world away from Terminus. It'll be inefficient for them to do that... My suggestion would be that it fuel some sort of underground factory here. I don't know what sort of factory, but that's what people want to know isn't it?"
Though the comment about phone just made Yuuki grin wryly. "...Digital World kinda messes up with your real world electronic gadgets, though... so if you find fault on it, it's probably not because it's outdated, but simply because Digital World is interfering with it."
Then again, rogue Tamer? "...Are you belong to DATS or something?"

A rookie level trod into the town, his steel eyes scanning the environment. His sharp senses detected non-metallic life in the steel area, in only a few minutes. The red-furred creature with plumage for a tail peered around, searching and following the organic noises until he located the tamers and the number of solitary digimon. His fur spiked and charged, his pupils dilated and his muscles tensed, when he spotted the Alphamon, though, after a moment, he found the digimon's stance and overall composure was a far cry from what he was familiar with, he forced himself to relax, and he overheard tell of a rogue tamer. He took a deep breath and approached the group, eyeing the massive holy knight closely, before staring at the humans, instead, speaking up. "A rogue tamer is hundreds of times more dangerous than a rogue digimon." He stated, "I'm sorry for overhearing, but I like to see myself as a good Samaritan, and I do not like the idea of someone abusing the gift of a digivice." He stated, sitting on his hind legs, his chest up in the air, and his tail feathers together and relaxed. He wished to not appear aggressive in any way, but, one rookie level is hardly anything when compared to a massive knight and several tamers, so this was likely not an issue.

Dante smiles. Seeing a happy Digimon family brightened up his day. He pictures Wormmon having a family. Would Wormmon come home from work with a moustache and briefcase? Would his wife be his Ultimate form Archnemon? Yikes. Apparently Owen wasn't entirely truthful about why they had come to the Hardware Den. Little white lies are just part of being a parent of a youngling.
When it comes to where all that power is going, Dante had not considered it could be going somewhere else in the Digital World. Did electricity even work the same way in this world? Couldn't you generate power without all those panels and windmills? "Hmm, ya there must be something here that utilizes a lot of power. One thing's for sure, I'm getting some solar panels when I get home." An expensive idea, but after a certain point the savings on the electric bill would surpass the initial cost.
Well this was becoming an interesting trip to the Hardware Den. The muffins alone were worth coming here. But now Dante and Stingmon had met some new friends. They took an interest in the rogue Tamer Dante is tracking down. Even a rookie Digimon passing by caught wind and wanted to hear more. Yuuki asks Dante if he is with DATS. Dante shows them him badge. "Ya that's right. His name is Tatsumi. I'm not assigned to bring him in, but I wanted to conduct some research on them. Apparently they were with DATS in the past. I looked over what files I could find, and discovered that they had contacts here at the Hardware Den."
Stingmon takes a big bite from his muffin. "Mmm, yeah yeah, rogue Tamer, DATS, whatever. I'm just glad we got these awesome muffins!" Hikaru had coined a new nickname for Stingmon. "Hmm, Ali, yes I like that name." True, he wasn't a bee, but he does have his energy spikes. There are some comparisons to be made between the charismatic boxer Muhammed Ali and Stingmon. Both had exciting personas, were outspoken and lightning fast. "Ya, you're kind of like a beetle and a bee. And when you are Wormmon, you're like a spider and a caterpillar. Not a worm so much." "That's because I am the alpha bug! Ali the Worm King gonna sting all the fools! Pop pop!" Stingmon punches the air around him.

Owen blushed a little more at this being pointed out. "Yes, well... I just didn't want him to panic is all" he put forth as a lame excuse. But indeed, what with how clever Logan was with the intelligence he had inherited from Hikaru and himself, and the fact he was the partner to a somewhat smart human, well, he supposed he'd best not treat him like an idiot.
Logan caught on to this meanwhile. "That's okay, daddy, I didn't want to make you panic either" he assured him. Owen was thankful for this. The worst case scenario of Logan suddenly getting the impression that Owen was lost and bursting out crying was something he was horrified about. But thankfully Logan was more mature than he had thought.
Owen then looked up at Hikaru, and nodded as it was pointed out that the family was together and enjoying something. "Heh, okay then" he said, and tried hard to not swallow his strawberry muffin in one gulp. Owen loved the taste, as did Logan, who munched on his in several bites. Ah to be young again. Wait... Owen could simply de-digivolve to Gaomon and eat it slower, but, eh, that was a bit too much of a bother. And besides, Owen didn't want to degenerate his form when in such unknown territory.
Then when Hikaru said that they might as well formalize it and call each other 'babe', Owen blushed so much his white cheeks turned pink. "Er, well... if that's alright..." he said, hoping this wasn't too much talk for the ears of Logan. And Yuuki as well, since Owen hadn't really spoken in overtly loving tones to Hikaru when Yuuki was in earshot.
"Oh daddy, just put a ring on it already" Logan said, teasingly. Owen then grinned nervously up at Hikaru.
"Well... if you're sure..." he said, thinking that would be a wonderful event to celebrate. "Maybe once we reach civilization we can do that?" he asked hopefully.
Onto Yuuki's theory about the factory, and it made sense. Why, this was the part of the digital world that most machine digimon came from. And surely where machine digimon were, there was also power? An interesting thing to investigate.
Then Dante confirmed that he was with DATS. "Oh really? I thought that that organization was defunct?" Owen asked, curiously. That had been a minor worry for him, that DATS was indeed active and would try to take Logan away when he was on Earth. Of course he wanted to be more sure about this. So, Dante wanted to do some scouting work with a rogue tamer named Tatsumi?
Then, an Elecmon approached the group. Owen looked eagerly, thinking that it was his acquaintance Luke, but, he saw that he lacked the blue scarf and devilish expression on his face, so it must be a different one. Nonetheless, he paid attention to what he said.
He seemed to be interested in the mention of the rogue tamer. This made Owen interested. "Ah, hello" he said, trying to maintain manners. "Have you dealt with a rogue tamer before, Elecmon?" he asked curiously, then realized that this digimon might have a name too. He then blanched and supposed he'd best backtrack and deal with the formalities. "Ah, yes, I'm Owen and this is mine and my, er, "Babe"'s son Logan" he gave a kind of warm look up at Hikaru, then at Logan. "But, yes, just wondering if that's so?".
Logan meanwhile was focused on Stingmon, and he kind of felt a slight admiration for his confidence. It reminded him a little of his parents, and it was very impressionable on the young Offmon. Maybe he could help his partner Tadao by imparting their lessons on him?

Hikaru felt it. Some sort of unexplainable hostility. He gently poked Logan's cheek with his index finger, protecting him with an unseen barrier just in case. However, he know all too well that this hostility is aimed at him... and for some reason, this guy turned out to be an Elecmon? Under his helmet, Hikaru raised an eyebrow questioningly. He took the muffin of his share and slowly ate it. What a strange guy who got hostility to him? Oh well, as long as he doesn't harm his kid or his partner, he's fine with it. What about Owen you ask? This guy is Child stage, Hikaru can feel it. There's no need to be vigilant when it comes to Owen.
Yuuki however just snorted at the talk about how rogue human apparently worse than rogue Digimon. "Bollocks and naive, I say. I don't know where you got that logic, Mister, but seems like you haven't seen any megalomaniac Digimon at all. Human or Digimon, what's the difference? Both are equally able to do evil deeds, both can be equally destructive. Those thing on the plains? It's not done by human, it's done by Digimon. Zephyrus is his name. I might not be on that battle, but I sure have fought his underling."
"Oh there he goes," Hikaru muttered, sighing. "Tone down your comment here, Yuukz, they have no idea whether you're purposely being an ass or just stating a fact," he chided.
"Sorry, but I'm just quite fed up in scenario where human somehow always blamed for being worse than Digimon. Real World and Digital World, wherever they came from, terrorists are terrorists. Whether it's human or Digimon. The talk about which side being worst is a sign of naivety. If you want to rebutt that, go on ahead."
"An ass, then," Hikaru summarized. Ass isn't a curse word right? "Though it's funny how you call it gift of Digivice, almost like you thinking that human here should have a mission for greater good. If that's true then I guess you can't be even more wrong, pal..."
Still, Hikaru was happy that Owen agreed to his suggestion, and his son too for approving. "Heh heh heh, how about matching bands instead of rings? Oh, maybe we can invite our friends too. Do you prefer me in gown or in tux, love?" Yeah, Hikaru know how wearing rings would be a bit... well, uncomfortable when it comes to fighting.
"DATS member, huh," Yuuki muttered, nodding. "So basically, you're not here to turn this Tatsumi guy in, but instead to question him... some sort of inquisitor then?" he asked again. "...I forgot if I ever met any DATS member before, but I never met any Tatsumi. Can you tell me more about it? Maybe some of my friend know."
"Fools, eh?" Hikaru parroted. "...Why, I felt like I'm interested to try your mettle... although normally I'm against it especially to someone who I just met, I'm somehow intrigued to have a friendly spar with you, friend. It'll be nice to try out my strength on Digimon of the same level.... no, actually, slightly higher? Well, whatever the case are... I'm interested to try. Maybe after our business is done here, hm?"

The name of the human was Tatsumi, a name like that was easy to track. When Owen greeted him, he turned his iron gaze towards him, "Yes, and each time I was too weak to face them alone." He explained. He noticed the digimon growing pale, before introducing himself and his... child? Well, virtually anything was possible in the digital world, and this was by no means the oddest thing he has seen. "My name is Ban. I may not look it, but I am a wandering warrior." He introduced himself, extending one of his paws in greeting, "Nice to meet you all." He nodded, politely. Then he heard Yuuki's retort. "I will concede your point any day, In terms of mindset, humans and digimon have very little in difference, rogue digimon are indeed a handful. What I speak of is the danger that comes with a digivice. More often than not, a champion level evolved through a digivice are often times at least a little bit stronger than other champions. The digivice also amplifies the emotions of the user, with a highly aggravated wielder, they can unleash terrifying power. Normal digimon are unable to do that." He explained, "It's not a matter of mindset. It's a matter of the power they have within themselves. Humans, even if they are physically lackluster, bear immense power at their disposal when they receive a digivice." He summarized, trying his best to illustrate his worry on the subject of a rogue tamer, he turned to Dante, "If you don't mind me asking, what exactly makes him... Rogue? What has he done to gain this title?"

DATS, defunct? Dante sure hopes that isn't the case. "DATS may have been down to next to nothing at a time, but there's been a resurgence as of late. You may have met the expert Tamer Shi on your travels. He was with DATS, last I heard." This rogue Tamer Tatsumi seemed to interest the others. Was it wise to talk about this kind of thing to strangers? Of course, everyone seemed pleasant enough, but just the principle of it was a little shaky.
Dante finishes his muffin and wipes his mouth with a napkin. "Tatsumi was with DATS before it started to shrink. I want to know why he left when he did. This may sound confusing, but I heard rumors from another 'rouge' Tamer Raziya, a friend of mine. She believed there is corruption within, and I suspect Tatsumi has insider knowledge." "I'm telling you, Dante, we shouldn't be working with DATS. We should start our own motorcycle gang with other Digimon and ride through the streets, going on a rampage!" "Ya, that's not going to happen."
The question was raised about whether Humans or Digimon posed a larger threat. Dante takes the opportunity to preach his beliefs on morality. "That's a good question. Obviously very powerful Digimon would pose a greater threat, but a Tamer can go around unnoticed and strike from the shadows. What makes a person evil? Heck what makes a Digimon evil? Is it really evil, or rather selfishness, greed, or a lack of regard for others? I don't believe all 'rogue' Tamers are really bad. If defying authorities is a sign of evil, what proves that the authorities are right? Why should we assume that they did not have their reasons for questioning authority?"
Stingmon shrugs and his antennas droop. "Blah blah blah blah... I'm Dante, I sounds like a character in a really boring video game. I can talk for hours... I'm beyond good and evil, I'm the Champ! What's that about a little sparring session? I'm down for a fight! Come on, what you got?! You want some, Elecmon? Huh? You want a piece of me? How about you, muffin guy?!" "Goddess try to calm down there, buddy. You should set a good example for younger Digimon." "It's nature v nurture, Dante. I was born awesome, you were born dumb and lazy, and even though you raised me I'm still super awesome!" "Maybe I should have been one of those parents chasing you around with a paddle or a belt? All I'm asking is that you behave yourself around Logan." Stingmon gives Dante a coy look. *Sarcastic tone* "Ya, that's not going to happen. Eyyh..." "Hah, spare the rod, spoil the Worm."

Logan blinked as he felt Hikaru poke him lightly. It wasn't painful, but, he felt some kind of protection form around him. Was something the matter? Logan hoped that it wasn't anything serious. Although he trusted his parents to take care of whatever was wrong.
Huh, it was just an Elecmon. Oh well. Even Logan thought he was strong enough to take him on if things got hostile, but, with his parents present, he thought such a thing would probably not happen any time soon.
Owen meanwhile made an uncomfortable expression at how confrontational the air seemed so quickly. Although Owen thought that Yuuki was fairly wise and knowledgable for a human in the digital world, well, he for one wouldn't have reacted such as that toward Ban's words. But he smiled at Hikaru for saying what he said. And even though this "Ban" seemed like a confrontational type, Owen didn't feel any reason to be hostile to him. The talk of digivices was a bit over Owen's head, since he had never experienced the power of one. And Logan had only experienced the power of Tadao's digivice twice - to evolve him to In-Training and then Rookie. So he had little opinion on the matter.
"Daddy said that I should say 'butt' instead of, uh, that word" Logan said, on the subject of 'ass'. Owen chuckled, then nodded.
"Maybe until you reach Adult level too, eh?" the Gaogamon said. Then Hikaru agreed to their nuptials and asked for details. "Um, well... seeing you in a tux and a kilt, well, I'd like that" he admitted, smiling nervously.
"Ooh, can I wear a kilt too?" Logan asked eagerly. "I probably would make everyone deaf if I played bagpipes too..."
"Heh, of course you can" Owen said, grinning. He then paid more attention to this whole DATS talk.
"Tamer Shi? Er, I can't say I've heard of them..." Owen admitted. "But if they're still active and keeping DATS alive, well, maybe they should get in contact with this other organization I've heard of? Namely PROFIT. I mean, several members are Super Ultimate level, so, they might want to join forces if possible..."
Owen's keen hearing overheard the conversation with Stingmon. As did Logan, who then spoke up. "Ah, well, I heard of this new organization just starting up. I think it's called AEGIS? They heard that DATS went under too, so, they want to replace it" he said frankly.
"Where did you hear that?" Owen asked him curiously.
"Oh, er, I read it on a bulletin board" Logan admitted. Owen then smiled, patting Logan's back again for being so observant.
Then the talk of what was more threatening occurred - human or digimon. Owen pondered this. "Well... a human that's a spirit wielder can be pretty threatening, I have to say" he said. "Also one that has complete control over their digimon so that they'd obey only them regardless of the consequences..."
"Oh gosh, I could never bear a human like that" Logan admitted, shuddering. "I mean, if my partner Tadao told me to do something horrible I wouldn't do it, and I don't think he would because I trust him not to say anything like that".
Owen nodded in agreement. If Logan's partner ever did something like that, well, the Gaogamon would probably seize his digivice and remove his son from him. But Owen had met Tadao and found him to be a fairly pleasant human, so he trusted him to be a good partner for Logan.
The Offmon meanwhile glanced up at Dante and Stingmon's bickering, but quickly caught on that they were just joking and giggled. Heh, he found he kinda liked them.

"...I don't think I need to be explained how Digivice works, especially since I'm always bonded with this item for seven years digital world standard," Yuuki replied, a bit too cold for Hikaru's standard. He coughed to warn his partner of his tone. "and that's why I think you're still mistaken. Human 'can' be aggravated, don't take me wrong... yes, emotions, especially explosive ones are the key for digivice to trigger evolution, but what of it?
I seen my friend's partner killed by another Digimon, one owned by a rotten lawyer. I begged the Digital power to lend me more strength. I can't even begin to describe my wrath of seeing that scene in front of me, but nothing happened. Absolutely none. Which means something else is needed to trigger the evolution... enough power. Enough data. Without that, the evolution won't trigger, even with this Digivice," Yuuki shook his digivice and then pocketed it quickly. He took a quick glance at Logy and sighed to calm himself down.
"Human is not that menacing. I've seen too many autonomous Digimons able to reach level as high as partnered one. It's not impossible. Your 'they tend to be more powerful than autonomous one' theory is flawed. Even If that's true, then I think it's to offset the fact that they need to protect their partner. But I'll just tell you, two versus one when you're at the same stage, even a partnered one would be completely outmatched. I've been in such situation for way too much to count. That's also why I don't believe your theory. Because if honestly emotion is all that it needs to force an evolution... then that battle wouldn't turn out like how it was. No matter even if she reborn, that girl will never be the same."
"OK, OK, let's not get too heated here, Yuukz. Whew, geez... I guess that was a misstep..." Hikaru muttered. Honestly, he have to agree with his partner though. What's the need of explaining when he's the living proof of what Yuuki is able to? Of the depth of his experience? "Tux and kilt sounds good, Babe... and I'd like to see your bagpipe performance, Logy~"
"Heh, so do I, I guess," Yuuki finally lightened up somewhat. "Just don't call it a thousand duck's suffering."
"THOUSAND SWANS!" Hikaru corrected, humorously being indignant.
"Duck, swan, both aves, both swimming, semantics."
"I can't believe you. it's like calling Rosetta Stone Napoleon Stone!"
"Don't cross that line," Yuuki growled.
Hikaru looks smug at his victory. Still, the talk about one that have total control on their Digimon sounds like an alien concept for Hikaru, mainly because... mainly because he know it's possible to fatally harm Yuuki and sever their relationship. But of course he won't tell that to his kid... and that's why he's so afraid to get glitched again. "Eh, never heard this Shi too... but Dante, you bring a fun commentary. If you got no idea whether authority is just or not, who is it to tell whether authority is just or not then? Is it the public? Then again, who can say whether one is just or not?"
"Don't say that to Ryouta," Yuuki commented, chuckling. "But you know what? Stingmon looks like he want to fight, so why don't we show what we can do? I think I need some cooling off too."
Hikaru must be grinning under his helmet. Golden aura flares from his jet black armor, rising to the air like fireflies and wisp of mist. However, it's clear that he's excited. "Logy, wish for your Papa winning, OK?"
