Marshal and Coronamon felt a little out of place on this adventure, but were still happy to be along as support. The two of them kept to the back and kept a lookout for anything suspicious while Colin and the twins tried to find the information they were looking for.
Finn was puzzled by Bellamy's question. "That seems kinda silly!" he said, still not understanding the strange circumstances of his birth. He followed along beside his Impmon father, not really thinking about it.

Colin noted that Marshal and Coronamon seemed a little lost here. "Sorry about this, we don't really know what we're meant to be looking for here" he admitted to them. "But thanks for being here, regardless".
Bellamy nodded at Finn's answer meanwhile. "Heh, yeah, I guess it does" he said. But he was glad that Finn wasn't feeling anything horrible here. After all, this was the location where Bellamy's previous incarnation, Impy, had been killed. He didn't want Finn to feel those memories.
They proceeded into the canyon. There was little ahead of them for a while other than desolate rocks and dry dirt. However, there was a moment of tension suddenly when Luke, who was taking the lead, suddenly stopped, looking up.
"What's wrong, Luke?" Colin asked, looking in the same direction. They looked at what seemed to be the entrance of a cave up in the side of the valley. And there they saw something green looking back down at them. "...Oh boy" Colin muttered, hoping this wasn't something bad.
"...So!" a voice snarled down at them. "An order was made four years ago, and only now do you two show up?!"
While these words didn't sound like they were said in the tone that Luke and Bellamy remembered, they still could recall them being spoken to them. Memories rushed forth in their minds. And it was the less damaged memory of Luke's that figured it out first.
"That's right, an order was placed..." he said to Colin, Marshal and the digimon in their company. "We were meant to deliver an artifact in this valley four years ago to a Majiramon... only..."
"You failed." the voice spoke again, the digimon in question revealing herself, glaring down at them. "I suppose you're here to deliver your apology?"
Bellamy was about to tell this uppity Majiramon to do something most offensive, but Luke put his paw over his mouth quickly.
"Bells, she might be the only one that can help us out here" he said urgently. Bellamy glared, then nodded, saying nothing as his mouth was released.
"The situation's complicated, Majiramon" Luke said. "It's been a long time, and, we did kind of... die. Can we talk about this?"
Majiramon seemed to only be half listening to him. She seemed to be sniffing the air, her attention focused on the four digimon present.
"Hmm... intriguing" she remarked. "Elecmon and Impmon brothers with intertwined data... and a Guilmon here with similar data to the Impmon and Coronamon. Hmm... yes, I will consent to this talk. Please, make your way to my cave".
Supposing there was little else for it, Colin, Luke and Bellamy made their way up to Majiramon's cave, hoping Marshal, Coronamon and Finn would follow. Maybe this was the breakthrough they were hoping for?

Marshal and Coronamon followed as Luke and Bellamy had a conversation with some kind of snooty Majiramon. It seemed that they had died on the way to delivering her something, but something in the party convinced her to give them an audience. Marshal and Coronamon gave each other a concerned expression as they entered the cave. Finn, meanwhile, was starting to feel a little strange. Majiramon's mere presence brought out some strange feeling within him.
"Do you really think Majiramon will help Luke and Bellamy like they're hoping?" Marshal asked Coronamon, just out of earshot of the others.
"We can hope," Coronamon told him.

The cave, as expected, was quite big. The walls were seemingly chipped and artificially dug out to provide more room. A quick glance told Luke that the structural integrity of it was sound, as there were enough pillars of rock present to keep the roof from falling.
Not quite as expected, however, was the presence of various old artifacts. Many were old and ancient pieces of stone engraved with writing. Shining orbs were also present, kept behind secure glass cases. Many of the artifacts were broken. It seemed that Majiramon was a professional researcher of these objects.
Bellamy approached a glass case containing a very dark black object, but Majiramon blocked him with her tail. "Please don't go near that, it would be unpleasant for a digimon partnered with a human" she advised. Bellamy felt a shiver run up his spine, then thought little more of it.
Majiramon then led them to the back of the cave. "Please, sit" she instructed them. "I will consent to treating you as my guests, but please, do not touch anything unless I give permission. Would you like something to drink? Tea? Hot chocolate? Coffee?".
"Uh... hot chocolate would be nice, thanks" Colin said, unsurely. Luke and Bellamy obliged and accepted the hospitality as well. Colin noted that her politeness had increased rather impressively since they had entered. She reminded him of his grandmother, who was irritable and complained a lot when outside her home but had a hospitable, generous heart of gold in her own. He and his partners sat down as instructed on carved stone seats opposite the wall.
Majiramon then filled a metal flask with water, and heated it by actually breathing fire on it. That was... a rather unique way of boiling water, Colin thought.
"Now then, I sense that you two are in fact the reconfigured forms of the digimon formally known as "Leky" and "Impy", correct?" she asked Luke and Bellamy, after she heard from Marshal, Coronamon and Finn if they wanted something as well.
"Yeah, we are" Luke replied.
"Good. And you seem to remember the order as well... excellent. You see, the order I made was very important. I hired two rookie levels to make it as inconspicuous as possible, but it seems I should have opted for security over discreetness. Alas, discreetness was cheaper".
"Majiramon, sorry..." Colin interrupted. "Can you please be a bit more tactful about talking about Impy and Leky dying? My partners get very uncomfortable and unhappy when you say it so flippantly".
Both Luke and Bellamy stared at him, as did Majiramon. The twins were surprised and felt... kind of proud of their partner for sticking up for them like that.
"My apologies" Majiramon said, thankfully not responding with hostility. "I will get to the point then. That delivery was essential for my research, and still is. It seems that the Dinohumon that so regrettably killed Impy and Leky stole that delivery. And there, I think, is where our interests converge".
She looked at them sharply. "I want that delivery. You want revenge on Dinohumon. Shall we work together on this?"
Colin exchanged unsure looks with Bellamy and Luke. He then turned to Marshal. While Colin was older and more experienced than he had been when he had first entered the digital world, he was still 14, while Marshal was 18 and more experienced.
"Do you think we should, Marshal?" he asked, uncertainly. He was glad that Marshal was there to give advice. Colin was inclined to accept Majiramon's help.

Marshal, Coronamon and Finn listened as Majiramon and the twins conversed about their past. It seemed that whatever Dinohumon had taken, it was extremely important. This plan seemed to be beneficial on both sides, but something concerned Marshal as Colin approached him for advice.
"Hmm...it does seem like a good idea to help out Majiramon, but something's still bothering me. What exactly is this artifact? What does it do?"

Colin thought that was a very good point from Marshal. He didn't want to accidentally assent to bringing her an object of unknown value. He looked back at Majiramon expectantly.
"Very well, I will tell you" she said, walking over to a display case at the back of the room, beckoning for the others to follow. Colin, Luke and Bellamy did so, seeing what looked like a strange gold digizoid sphere with a hole in one side.
"This artifact was found in the ancient ruins in this region" she said. "It was located in a temple lined with the black material you saw earlier. I found it when I was a younger digimon, in my Coredramon form. However, something in that room made me de-digivolve back to Dracomon. I don't know what caused it, but that is irrelevant".
She indicated the sphere again. "However, after disarming the traps, I managed to secure this artifact, and my expedition companions managed to translate the runes on both it and the room. It appeared that these ruins were built by chroniclers of an older time, hundreds of years earlier in digital world years, that recorded the events that resulted in the first humans arriving in the digital world. I believe that this artifact has that information contained, but it cannot operate without its power source".
She then looked at Luke and Bellamy. "The package that was carried by Leky and Impy was that power source. And now it is possessed by that Dinohumon. I can promise you that if you retrieve it, I will allow you to be present at its activation".
"Huh, okay, that works out I guess" Luke said, scratching his chin, looking intently at the golden sphere. He too was curious about what it was. Bellamy didn't see the value as much.
"Well okay, but if you're not tellin' the truth here..." he began, frowning. Majiramon sighed and nodded.
"Yes, I understand. I have heard word that you digimon partnered to humans are stronger than most, and are right to be suspicious. But I assure you that I have not told a lie in this cave".
"So then" Colin said, wanting to hear a conclusion. "We beat Dinohumon, we get you the object, and, that's it?" As a member of PROFIT he felt the need to have some kind of reward for this.
"It's really the only purpose for the power supply" Majiramon said, sensing where he was coming from. "However, I will make it worth your while if you deliver it".
"Okay then, that's on the record" Bellamy said, looking at Coronamon. "What do you think about this, babe?" he asked his boyfriend, supposing that they were in this together.

Marshal attempted to wrap his head around Majiramon's explanation. So this artifact had information detailing the times when humans first set foot in the Digital World? How long ago had that been? Who were the first humans to find themselves in this strange land? Were they still alive? So many questions ran through his mind that he lost the focus needed to stay in the conversation.
Coronamon, meanwhile, looked over at Bellamy. He was still trying to recover from the sudden head rush of getting a few of his old memories back that it took him a moment to process what his boyfriend had said to him. "Oh, yeah," he said, shaking himself back to awareness. "Let's find this thing! What do you think, kiddo?"
Coronamon was talking to Finn, but the young Guilmon just stared intently at the sphere, fascinated by it. "So...shiny..." he commented.

Majiramon seemed pleased that it was acceptable with the group. "Very well. It is agreed" she said, beckoning them back toward the guest area. "Now that you have accepted these terms I will tell you information that will be required to complete this task".
She gave a look of warning toward Finn as he stared at the sphere. Bellamy instantly took notice. "Hey now, Finn, don't touch that, son" he said, gently guiding him back toward the guest area. "I'll buy you somethin' like that later if ya like". Surely there'd be shiny toys that Finn could play with if he really wanted.
When they were seated again, Majiramon would then speak again. "First of all, this Dinohumon in question. I have tracked his movements, and an confident that the digimon in question has... changed somewhat".
"How so?" Luke asked, getting a terrible feeling in his gut.
"He has digivolved" Majiramon said, ominously. "He is now a Super-Mega level. A Zanbamon".
This made Colin, Luke and Bellamy stare with horror. Bellamy was the first to recover. "Well, we can reach that level too ya know. We ain't afraid of him" he declared, but turned to Finn. "Uh, no offense, son, but... this is probably somethin' that your dads will have to do without you". He wasn't going to let his son anywhere near a hostile Super Mega level.
"Very well" Majiramon said. "I do not know his exact whereabouts, I just know that he is somewhere in the Dark Area".
"Of course" Bellamy sighed, shaking his head. The one part of the digital world they haven't been to yet, and the one where they couldn't go. Daedalus couldn't fly there yet. But hopefully that could change soon.
"We'll find a way there" Colin said to Majiramon, but glanced at Marshal. "I think this is probably something we should talk to Koharu about. She probably knows more about the Dark Area" he said.

Marshal crossed his arms in a bit of annoyance upon hearing that their destination was the Dark Area. "We've been there before, Coronamon and I," he said, his tone suddenly more serious than usual. "Twice, actually."
Coronamon nodded. "The first time we went was the first time we met BlackDynasmon. He chased us quite a ways through an entire desert before we managed to escape."
"Then there was the time we met Ryouta for a sparring match," Marshal remembered. "That was...not a great experience, either." He figured he'd leave out the part about them being impaled by Bagramon, since it didn't seem like anything had come of that. Coronamon's wounds had healed, and no doctor in the entire Digital World could find anything wrong with him other than that. Better to not worry the others with specifics.
"Sounds scary!" Finn added, not really grasping the situation.
"All I'm saying is that if we're going to be fighting an opponent of that caliber in the Dark Area, we need to be prepared," Marshal concluded. "Not that time isn't of the essence, here, but still."

Colin looked at Marshal immediately as he said that he'd been to the Dark Area before. His experience in such a thing would be most welcome, but, it seemed his last experiences there were unpleasant. He nodded with understanding. "I don't blame you if you don't want to go back" he said. The Dark Area was said to be like a literal hell of the digital world.
"Man, that must've been scary" Bellamy remarked. "Sparring with Ryouta I mean. I don't think we'd wanna do somethin' like that". He gave a grin and patted Finn's paw as he matched his thoughts.
"The thing about BlackDynasmon sounds bad too" Luke added. "We duelled with him over Whitewater didn't we? It seems like he has a grudge against you two. Would we encounter him again in the Dark Area you think?"
"If we do, we'll whoop his ass" Bellamy declared. "Nobody chases my hotstuff and gets away with it!"
"That's all well and true, but, I honestly think we could only deal with one mortal enemy at a time" Colin said, hoping his Impmon partner would calm down a little. Majiramon seemed to accept their words.
"Very well, that's understandable" she said. "Undoubtedly as humans capable of evolving your partners to the Super Mega level, you have a network of friends in place to assist you?"
"Yeah, we do" Colin affirmed.
"Alright. Take as much time as you need, but the sooner you retrieve this item, the more grateful I will be" the dragon digimon advised. "The last thing I would ask is to exchange D-Terminal details. I promise I will not pester you about this, but I simply ask that you send me a message when you make the journey to the Dark Area".
Colin agreed and gave Majiramon his contact details. Well then, it seemed that was all. "Are we ready to go?" Colin asked everyone in general.

Marshal sighed. "Well, going to the Dark Area isn't exactly my idea of a fun weekend activity, but if it's to help you guys out, I'm down. What do you think, Coronamon?"
"Of course we'll help," Coronamon agreed. Though, a part of him wished Marshal had told them the whole truth about their Dark Area escapades. BlackDynasmon was one thing, but what of that Bagramon that attacked them? Surely he'd notice their presence there again and return to finish the job.
"I'll help too!" Finn chimed in.
Marshal and Coronamon had both forgotten he was there for a moment. "No way," Coronamon said, shaking his head. "It's way too dangerous for you, Finn."
"Your dad's right," Marshal nodded. "You have no idea what you'd be getting yourself into."
"But if I train and get strong like you, then I can do anything!" Finn said with hope in his voice.
Coronamon walked over to his son and put a hand on his back. "We'll see." That probably meant no, but maybe Finn could pull something together. Only time would tell what was in store for the Guilmon.
"I think we're ready," Marshal said. "We've got a lot of work to do."

"Yeah... that's true" Colin agreed with Marshal with a small amount of fear in his voice. "Although I wasn't really expecting it to be fun in the first place".
The young tamer gently patted Luke and Bellamy behind the ears like he knew they enjoyed. "But if it means these two get justice for what happened, well, hopefully that'll be worth it".
"Thanks, Colin" Luke said, smiling up at him. Ordinarily the Elecmon would have rather not travelled to the Dark Area for revenge, but, they had been offered a deal. And as members of PROFIT, they should probably take it.
Finn seemed like he really wanted to go though. Bellamy sighed, realizing he wouldn't be a kid forever. "Okay, Finn, here's the deal. You can come with us only if you can evolve to Mega. Not a level lower. Got that?" he hoped that would be the end of that.
So it seemed they were ready. And so the group departed Majiramon's cavern, returning to Daedalus. Once aboard and in the air, Bellamy let out a deep breath of relief.
"So, guess we got what we came for, huh?" he asked the group in general. His brother nodded sagely in agreement. "Freakin' Zanbamon though..." he rubbed his face with bewilderment.

Finn's ears drooped a bit. It seemed that he would have to make a lot of progress if he wanted to help his dads, but it would all be worth it soon enough. "I'll do it," he said, vague confidence in his voice. For the first time, he didn't seem quite so child-like. Perhaps it was a sign of things to come for the Guilmon.
With that, everyone returned to Daedalus and headed for home. Bellamy seemed a bit concerned about the recent developments, so Coronamon was immediately by his side.
"I know it's probably tough to think about," he said, putting his arm around his lovely Impmon, "but you guys aren't alone this time. You have Colin, and you have me!"
"Hey, don't forget me!" Finn said, back to his usual self.
"What am I, chopped liver?" Marshal asked, joking around.
"The point is," Coronamon continued, ignoring the other two. "no matter what we go up against, it'll be fine!"

Bellamy grinned at his son's confidence. "That's the way, kid. And I believe you" he said. It would probably be the best thing ever, fighting side-by-side with his son, who would hopefully be something like a MedievalDukemon or something awesome like that.
On Daedalus, Bellamy instantly felt better when Coronamon put an arm around him. He smiled at his boyfriend, leaning against him as he assured them that everything would end up okay. "Heh, glad to have ya, babe".
He then deliberately yawned. "Well, all this walkin's made me kinda tired. Wanna have a nap in our cabin, Coronamon?" he asked.
"I seriously doubt you'll be 'napping'" Luke drawled, going by the cheeky expression on the Impmon's face as he playfully tugged at Coronamon's arm toward the sleeping quarters.
"Finn, best not follow them" Colin advised the Guilmon-X, trying not to laugh.
And so Daedalus turned his bearings North toward Snowflake Village. There they would see Koharu and ask her advice on the journey they would take to the Dark Area. Colin didn't intend to embark on the voyage right away, but, a lot of preparation was needed.

Coronamon smirked as he caught Bellamy's meaning. "I'm pretty tired, too," he agreed. "I'd love a nap."
Marshal, of course, knew that this was a lie. He immediately shot a look to Coronamon that would remind him that Colin and Finn were still on-board. Hopefully those two wouldn't be too rowdy with...whatever they were doing.
Finn looked confused when Colin told him not to follow. "I want to nap, too!" he groaned.
"You can come hang out with ol' Grandpa," Marshal teased, still feeling weird about technically being a grandfather. "Let's give your dads some privacy, eh?"
Coronamon quietly mouthed a thank you to Marshal as he and Bellamy scurried off to their cabin. Marshal, meanwhile, stretched out on the couch and was immediately asleep. Finn was confused, and looked to his Uncle Luke expectantly.
