Name: Elsie Maria Alarice Winter
Alias: Els
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 110 lbs
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Birth Date: May 22nd
Birth Place: Cologne, Germany
Western Horoscope: Gemini
Eastern Zodiac: Rabbit
Skills/Talents:
Stubborn Pain Resistance: Elsie is really good at completely ignoring when she's in pain! Sometimes, it's hard to tell if she legitimately doesn't feel anything or if she's pretending not to, for her ego's sake.
Athletic: Participating in most sports that schools have offered over the years, Elsie is more than capable of outrunning plenty of people her own age, and out-lifting them, as well.
Cooking: Everyone likes food! And, someone has to be a decent cook in this family. Elsie has practiced with plenty of spices and cooking styles, and has some sort of recipe for almost anything.
Breaking Locks: Okay, maybe not breaking. More like picking! Not a talent one should openly brag about, Elsie is alarmingly good at lockpicking. What's the point in locking doors, anyway? It's not like anyone's trying to hide or protect something, right?
Personality:
Many people find it hard to forget this girl. Unable to deal with extended silences, Elsie will strike up conversations on the most random things that pop into her head, just to keep herself entertained. And, if nobody wants to participate in her topic, she will continue to search for topics, or find objects (paperclips, staplers, etc) to throw at the person that's ignoring her. Hey, negative attention is still attention, after all! For the most part, people tend to find Els an enjoyable, energetic person. She tries to keep the room alive, and appears to wear her heart on her sleeve.
She's a common offender of over-dramatizing her emotions, to get some sort of response out of others. For instance, if she feels slightly deterred by something, she may act utterly devastated and depressed until something fixes the dilemma. Not actually one to get down about things, Elsie is more than capable of turning a negative situation into a good one! If she wants to, that is! Els is also entirely capable of making a negative situation fifty times worse! To upset her, or her sister, is the equivalent of picking a fight, and she isn't afraid to begin screaming at someone in the middle of a crowded room if it'll get her point across. While neither sister understands the concept of personal space, Elsie is notably more likely to touch or grab onto a stranger to get their attention or prove a point.
In most cases, Elsie's temper tends to flare the least when in the presence of her sister. She tries to stay in an upbeat mood, and is easily motivated (or de-motivated) by her twin's words. Usually, Elsie is the type to initiate conversations, or drag poor souls into an argument or random story. If she gets the feeling that she can press on someone's buttons, the teen generally will, in hopes of getting a good laugh out of the entire thing. After all, it's not like she really needs friends. Her sister's stuck with her! And, random people are just that! Random people! Who wants to devote their energy to trying to keep strangers around long enough to make friends? Maybe, someone can keep this girl entertained enough to gain some emotional value to her. Or not.
This girl is a bad influence, and will always push people to do things if they're indecisive. That is, unless it's going to negatively affect her! Knowing the power of peer pressure, her sister will often aid her in convincing people to follow through with their questionable ideas. It isn't like it's very hard to convince people of something they wanted to do, anyway! Despite the way she carries herself, Elsie is actually easily frightened. She uses her words and actions to try to prove differently, and perhaps to push people until they fall, in some attempt to feel better about herself. As far as she's concerned, there's nothing to be worried about, as long as she looks like the one in the most control.
Appearance:
Having an appearance that naturally matches her sister, Elsie is considered pale no matter how much time she spends outside. While not particularly noticeable, the girl is on the slightly athletic side. It's easy to forget that a girl of her size could actually have some sort of muscle on her body! Often forgetting the average height of girls in Japan, Elsie considers herself on the short side. Not that height stops her at all! She'll climb on chairs, tables, and sketchy shelves if it means reaching what she wants.
Loving the little things in life, it should be no surprise that the girl adores accessories. She's almost always found with some sort of bow, clips, or hairbands! Favoring golds to draw more attention, any bracelets or jewelry absolutely must be this color. Elsie almost always keeps her hair primarily down, albeit teased a bit for a little volume. Light blonde hair falls to her waist, while the tips appear to have been dipped in light red dye. Being the type that gets bored with everything being normal, the younger of the twins wears bright red contacts, which mask her usual sea-green eye color. These do not have a prescription, and she is fully capable of seeing without them.
With a varying wardrobe, it's rare to find Elsie wearing the same outfit twice in one week. Not paying too much attention to who owns what, it's not uncommon to find her stealing some of her sister's clothes from time to time. As far as her own clothing goes, she tends to wear jeans or skirts without any bias to which she puts on. Shirts range from colorful tank tops to muted-grey, over-sized sweaters. In an attempt to match her contacts and hair to her outfit, it's not uncommon to see a variety of reds in her fashion decisions.
Matching her sister takes a little more effort, considering the permanency of her hair dye. If it's 'necessary' to mimic Evie, she will only brush her hair extensively, pull her contacts out, and leave her hair tucked into a hoodie. While dying her hair made a great way of straying from matching her sibling, it does have its downsides, such as this.
Personal History:
Unfortunately, being born at 12:04 in the morning, Elsie was fated to eternally be known as the younger twin. With a doctor father and a stay-at-home mom, there really was nothing more a child could ask for. Except, of course, some personal space. For the majority of her childhood, she spent her days being coddled by her mother and being dressed up like her sister.
Aside from feeling like a walking mirror, Elsie found her childhood mostly average. Early on, the duo were placed in different classes to avoid confusion, though that never stopped the siblings from switching teachers from time to time. One of these occasions, the girl found out that her sister was being mistreated by a few classmates. By the end of the hour, both Elsie and Evie found themselves suspended for a few days, in part because Elsie 'fixed' the problem, and in part because the administrative system didn't actually know who to blame, considering the wrong children were in the wrong classes.
Their comfortable lifestyle was quick to change when their father found a better job in Japan. While the family had initially planned to go together, the twins' mom got cold feet, and decided that a divorce was better than the potential of falling on their faces in a mysterious country. Instead, she was going to risk falling on her face as a single-mother in her home country! Keeping the twins, the woman began to bounce from varying houses and significant others. At one point, Elsie took a strong liking to a very wealthy man that they had lived with. He bought the twins whatever they wanted, in an attempt to gain their approval. Which, this definitely worked for Elsie, who was more than glad to accept any gift that came her way.
Inevitably, the relationship didn't last, and the twins continued to change homes and schools from time to time. While Elsie found the constant change of pace to be interesting, she found her limits when her mother decided to uproot entirely and move to America to be with a new boyfriend. After such a hypocritical choice, and Evie's frequent discussions of seeing their father, the twins decided that it was time to find a more stable living situation with him, instead.
Backpack Contents:
A small, grey bag. Designed to be worn across the body, but has it tightened so that it only hangs off one shoulder, akin to a purse.
Digivice:
Spirit Element: Destruction
Appearance:
S-Hybrid Spirit: Hackmon (Appmon)
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Unknown
Type: System
Passive:
Hacktivist: If a Digimon directly strikes Hackmon with their hands or a weapon, this Digimon is capable of 'hacking' into the attack. The attacker will experience a very small amount of their attack's power reflected back onto them. Hackmon still takes full damage. Two post cooldown.
Abilities:
Vanquish Claw: Right hand grows twice its size, giving a powerful slash at its target.
Strange Hack: The 'eye' on Hackmon's hood glows brightly, before firing a blast of energy at a foe.
Script Kiddie: The cables on Hackmon's back crackle with an electrical current, whipping and whirling around with intent on lashing out at anything nearby. Cooldown of One post.
Digivolves To: Matadormon
Appearance:
H-Hybrid Spirit: Matadormon
Attribute: Virus
Family/ies: Dark Area, Nightmare Soldier
Type: Undead
Passive:
Blood Drive: Each slash into a target gives Matadormon more energy. If this Digimon hits a target two posts in a row, it is capable of using a second attack, at half-strength, on its next turn. It then requires a Single Post Cooldown before Blood Drive will be able to begin again.
Abilities:
Thousand Arrows: Reveals the rapiers under its sleeves, which are then launched at a target.
Bulldog: Flourishing its sleeve, Matadormon provokes the enemy into focusing on it. For the next two posts, the target will find their accuracy moderately reduced on other targets, while being equally raised on Matadormon, making this user the best choice of target. Higher level Digimon have stronger willpower. This means that Ultimates will only find their accuracy altered slightly, and Mega and higher will not even notice a difference. Three Post Cooldown
Butterfly Breaking Trumpet-Kick: Slashes a foot through the air, creating an almost ear-piercing sound, as a thin blade of energy slices through the air and toward the target. The noise is slightly disorienting to anyone with average hearing or better. Cooldown of One Post.
Impaled Heart: Using a jabbing motion, Matadormon will try to stab its claws into a target. If this does not only graze the target, Matadormon will receive a small portion of health for the pain it has inflicted. Two Post Cooldown.
Stunning Dance: Whirls toward an enemy with electricity running through its blades. Attempts to slash and shock any target unlucky enough to get into arm's reach.
Digivolves To: Infermon
Appearance:
B-Hybrid Spirit: Infermon
Attribute: Free
Family/ies: Nightmare Soldiers, Dark Area
Type: Unknown
Non-Combat Passive:
Uplifting: Twisting two of its legs upwards, and spinning them rapidly, Infermon can sort of fly. It is not very graceful, and spiders should really stay on the ground. But, it clearly does not like that idea. It's difficult to dodge and preform some attacks when attempting this.
Passive:
Payload: If a target strikes Infermon, while in [regular] arm's reach, Infermon will plant a virus in the data of the attack, which disables that ability for two posts. If the attack has a cooldown, it will add one post of cooldown, instead. Infermon cannot use this for another three posts afterward.
Abilities:
Spider Shooter: Fires several energy bullets from its mouth at a target. Upon impact, these will give off small explosions.
Cocoon Crasher: Launches its entire body at a target, tucking its legs in, to strike them with its sturdy shell.
Virus Skater: Electricity crackles out of Infermon's mouth, creating a small, zappy field. If any enemies enter this area, they will find themselves constantly shocked with a small amount of damage. Somehow, allies do not seem to notice the unpleasant effect, and can use this space as a slight deterrent from being attacked in close range. Duration: Three Posts, Cooldown Three.
D.O.S.: Extends one of its cable-like legs, slamming it into a target, while producing an electrical shock.
Logic Bomb: Spits a black orb at a target, which will attempt to adhere itself to them. Unless they, or and ally, intends to spend the next post removing the sticky item, it will explode on them on Infermon's next post, dealing an unpleasant amount of damage. Cooldown of one.
Glitch Wave: After flickering red, an incredibly hot burst of energy pulses out from around Infermon. It extends a moderate range, being most damaging toward the center, tapering out to only slightly painful toward the edges of the pulse. Cooldown of one.

Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Deep Savers
Type: Aquatic Beast Man
Non-Combat Passive:
Ride the [Air] Waves: Mermaimon can float in the air, permitting her movement when a source of water is not available.
Passive:
Shiny, Reflective Treasures!: As it turns out, being a treasure-hoarding mermaid has its perks. Ranged attacks will find about 15% of it thrown back in the direction it came! Of course, there's no guarantee the attacker is still in the same direction, but it's not very easy to aim this kind of thing! Due to shiny possessions getting a little singed, it takes a Two Post Cooldown to be clean enough to work again.
Abilities:
Northern Cross Bomber: Shoots its anchor at a target. The anchor will return to its owner after it either impacts or misses.
Charm Plunder: Blowing a kiss has never been so dangerous! A small, glowing orb escapes Mermaimon's lips, rocketing toward a target. Upon contact with anything, it will explode.
Anchor Blitz: Slashes its anchor in the air, throwing a [literal] wave of energy toward either one target, or several close together. The wave feels like a tidal wave crashing down, pushing back smaller targets and providing small amounts of damage. Cooldown of One Post.
Siren's Song: The title is a lie. It's not a song. It's a scream. The sound is absolutely earsplitting, and vibrates the air in a short radius around her. This move is mildly disorienting, and the vibrations cause notable discomfort (or, really, pain) for those trapped too close to her. Those who are deaf are very lucky. Only lasts One Post. Cooldown of Two Posts, to avoid destroying her own vocal chords.
Makeshift Blade: Holding the anchor akin to an ax or scythe, Mermaimon will swing its weapon at targets. If they come in contact with any part of the anchor, they will quickly realize that everything excluding the 'handle' has been sharpened very well.
Digivolves To: Thunderbirmon
Appearance:
Beast Fraction: Thunderbirmon
Attribute: Data
Family/ies: Metal Empire, Wind Guardians
Type: Giant Bird
Passive:
Shocking Body: As a bird with an electrical current pulsing through its body, it shouldn't be hard to see why physical attacks wouldn't be a smart choice. If a foe attempts to strike Thunderbirmon with their body or a held weapon, they will receive a small zap of electricity. So as not to fry its own body, this ability has a single post cooldown.
Abilities:
Thunderstorm: With a flap of its wings, a bolt of lightning strikes down toward a target.
Spark Wing: Sparking with electricity, several of Thunderbirmon's feathers spray out in a small area in front of it. Anyone unlucky enough to be struck by one will feel an unpleasant shock.
X-Talon: Drops toward an enemy, stretching out its talons, to rip into them with incredibly speed.
Eastern Gale: Beating its wings, the user creates a sharp wind that is capable of cutting into multiple foes.
Stormfront: Thunderbirmon summons a storm over the battlefield for Three Posts. During this time, electrical and water based attacks are moderately stronger, while fire attacks become equally weaker. Cooldown of three.
Voltaic Discharge: Curling into a ball, Thunderbirmon releases a powerful burst of electricity from its entire body. The blast extends a moderate distance out from the user. Due to the position that Thunderbirdmon has to take to use this move, it is incapable of outright dodging any attack directed at it in the next turn, and may only block or attack. Cooldown of one post.
