The automated restaurant was something that kan had gone to many a time. Making sure that any time he had business with the denizens of the digital world that he would bring them here if they resided in terminus. SO the shopkeep of course knew the ins and outs of how to work this place.
He sat down on one side and she sat on the next. The menu that lay close to her menu untouched, though the shopkeep didn't need to look at the menu to know what was on it. He did it for the sake of apperance. Keeping a rather lax look about him; Shattermon sat next to him, though rather on a chair the massive digimon merely had it's haunches on the ground. Maybe a third of it's actual height lost to this.
Both of them looked far more relaxed than they should be, considering the conversation that was bound to happen.
"Criminals is all about perspective, the ideal that was behind it was to unseat the government there. Purely that, there was no other reason behind vexus. What reason the leader had was beyond doing so is lost to me."
Kan looked up from the menu frowning slightly at the mention of blackmail. He'd sigh and shake his head.
"...They asked, I'm no fan of those in luminas. I am also no fan of the government instilled there. While not as corrupt as I thought it to be back when within Vexus itself, it does reek of politicians and their ilk to the point of where you wonder how they get anything done at all."
"That and Kan isn't exactly innocent Ms. Vika."
"In time Shattermon, no one needs to know that yet. I'm not a good person Vika, Never have been. I do things to help people sure, but that doesn't atone for past sins. Or future ones I will no doubt ably make. I have regrets about joining them, but regret doesn't bring back the people that lost their lives there. Or the people that didn't and simply lost what they knew."
He'd grumble softly and tap the menu, shattermon reaching over and placing it's paw where it wanted to order. Kan made sure to add that to the order as well before setting the menu into some little slot. A small Snick letting him know that his order was received.
"If you're wondering how deep I was in Vexus, I was merely just one of the ones to do some of the bombings. I chickened out, then I had to go and see if I could help realizing my error. I got there too late, and everything was over. No doubt someone there got a look at me, considering that i had their uniform at the time too."
Shattermon shook it's head slowly; kan looked a little pensive to say the least...
