Now what was it? She had spent the last few days at best wandering about, frustrated with the fact she was here. In a place she didn't belong in the least bit. The human world; while the people were nice most certainly they stared. At least the few that she had interacted with; quick interactions usually. And such in a manner of which they told her "nice costume" or something along those lines. She had to play it off; the longer that she stayed here the longer her presence might be pushed as a threat.
People would only believe that for so long before something was amiss... After all she couldn't just claim she was a costume without some real work. She had to admit however those that gave her food or the like were very nice; one of which being an old man running a sandwich shop. In which she had saved from being run over by a rather.. Enthusiastic vehicle that the humans called cars. It was frustrating still that they seemed surprised she was able to do such a thing.
She'd swing her legs back and forth, bringing the sandwich he had given her today to her muzzle. Taking a bite of it; she had to admit all of the sandwiches he had given her so far that this was the nicest out of it. She had also offered advice to him, as far as running his small mobile business.
He had taken it to heart and by the looks of it he was doing better. The only reason she was sitting even remotely close to this bridge was because of the cover it could give her. She had spent the last few nights under it, avoiding those cars and avoiding people as they came by for the most part.
She glanced around, noting the distinct lack of people around this time. It seemed there were points of the day that the streets were absolutely empty. Like something was going on. Most people were inside or at home at these points and she could move freely around.
"What sort of pickle did I get myself into just by going through a damn door?"
She'd mumble to herself and shake her head, taking another bite of the sandwich. She needed to find a way to get back home; because with each passing day her inn would be worse off. She didn't know how things would go there, and she didn't even know about the time dilatation effect that occured. She glanced up to the mostly clear sky, noting that it was starting to get to the point in the day you could call evening. But at the same time she still didn't know the time cycles here...

Another day over, another endless session of cramming knowledge right into her head. Despite those cynic thoughts, Amy was more or less satisfied with her performance as a student. And overall happy with her life thus far. Settling in had been hard, and getting used to the culture even more so. Still, she had managed to thrive and frankly... enjoyed where she was at the moment.
There was some stuff she wasn't all that sure about, though. This whole digimon matter, of example, more or less resulted in some time lost every time she tried to understand it, along with... hazy memories and random blackouts. I didn't take a genius to know that her spirits had to do something with that, but what, exactly? Unlike Catherine's, her presence outside of her evolutions was more or less nonexistent, making the whole matter something that was better left for another moment. Truth to be told, as long as she didn't have to resort to them, they did little to impede the natural course of her life.
Maybe thinking about it while riding a bike was a bad idea? After all, she was bound to miss some details if she was distracted, and that could end in a tragic accident or in... not noticing the digimon that was near the bridge she was about to cross. It took her some quick movements, but she managed to exit the street and head in that direction. Amelie had... kinda seen her before, hadn't she? She wasn't sure if they had even been properly introduced, but she could probably fix that.
Getting closer while leaving her bike standing nearby, she waved at the yellow fox, given she had noticed her. "Hey." She greeted, sitting right next to her. "I... think we've met before? I don't know if you're the same from that strange valley with the funny-looking lizards." Chances were she probably wasn't, but she was just too similar for her to not to ask.

K was simply just enjoying the weather and the sandwich at this point. The lack of humans made it really easy for her to relax slightly; it was frustrating something fierce that she couldn't move around as she pleased here without attracting some kind of attention. She had to put on an act even more so than anywhere else.
She noted that there was a human passing by that looked oddly familiar. Like they had met previously; they were riding some kind of contraption that looked faster than walking of course. She blinked owlishly, pausing mid bite of the sandwich. Her head turning to follow them a little bit. She'd shake her head and pass off the idea that it was someone she knew. This place was huge and the chances of her actually...
Then of course the human seemed to re-appear close by as though they weren't just on a bridge a few moments ago. She blinked again, a frown gracing her lips for a few moments before the human left their bike standing upwards. The contraption certainly had all the bells and whistles? What was the point when you could move faster as a digimon anyways? Wasn't this human a spirit wielder?
K shifted slightly on the bench to allow the human more room. She couldn't recall the name of this particular human. The others that she had met before always had given out their names, as part of some customary gestures or something along those lines. Then they spoke about possibly meeting before, they didn't know if she was the same renamon from there. She'd give them a small smile and nod.
"That would be me, there was quite a few others there too but imagine us running into one another again."

Talk about coincidences. Seemingly, that had been the very same digimon from before? Her voice was unmistakably similar, so chances of deception weren't really abounding. Guess this was... lucky? Amelie couldn't but wonder what this digimon was doing over here, though. "That's... amazing, honestly." Hiding her surprise was a hard task. "I mean, what are the chances of us crossing paths again in a whole different world?"
For a second, her sights focused to where the Renamon was gazing. "I don't remember much of what happened back at the towers, honestly, but... I guess we both are alive, so there's that." Honestly, all her memories while evolving were a hazy blur at the very best, but that was better left unmentioned. "So... what are you doing in this world? Guess you decided to check it out or something? Being over here doesn't seem like the best way to do tourism, though."
Finding digimons stranded (was even stranded the correct word) in this place had been an increasingly common occurrence since her encounter with Rinji. Maybe this was a perk of sorts? She doubted on its usefulness, but it was something, she guessed. Funniest thing of them all was that she was being a bit of a hypocrite with that very question, knowing that she had no idea how she ended in those weird places in the Digital World in the first place.

K eyed the human curiously before taking another bite of her sandwich. She had to agree with them that this was amazing, that this was just off the charts of when it came to chance. She'd shrug and consider it briefly.
"It is isn't it? It must be one in a million or something."
She'd shrug slightly and lean back against the bench, tutting softly as she couldn't help but wonder about what things could of lead up to them meeting here in the least. It was a mix of surprising and just... odd to her.
"Don't worry about it, I don't.. really remember other than little bits and pieces. Those towers are strange."
She'd admit that any time she came into contact with those towers that things just.. Felt odd or off, it might of been from the way the data worked there or.. Perhaps something worse? She didn't know of course. She'd flash a small smile and take another bite; glancing at the human as they asked their questions.
"I ended up here by mistake, One of the doors in my Inn lead me to the human world for some reason. So I've been stuck here for a few days... At least I think days? It's hard to know with the human world. I don't understand it very well."
She had to admit that part and she'd shake her head, it was starting to get really frustrating with how everything was piling up. She had to do something about this and well... There were a few things that she had to avoid.
"...That reminds me I don't think we've ever been properly introduced? My Name is K... I'm an innkeeper. What's yours?"

It was a pretty unlikely possibility, but talking about this with K was probably not the most interesting topic. After all, she was sure way more unlikely things had occurred in the world's history. In the end, she ended up shrugging at the notion, and instead decided to change topics to something way more interesting. Like the Dark Towers.
"I know, right? I don't even remember much about the experience, just that I ended up with a load of... whatever's the name of the currency you guys use in the Digital World. Funny, huh? Guess those things weren't all that bad, after all." It was flawless logic; nothing that gave you money could be too bad, right?
Everything was so hazy that concluding on that one and letting the topic go was probably correct; K's small journey towards Earth was quite interesting, too! Even if a bit... unbelievable. "What. A door in your Inn? Leading straight to another world? I think I don't wanna know what else you can find there." She said jokingly, just before adding. "That kinda sucks, though. But I think I can help you! Either if you wanna stay there for a while or just go back to your world, I think I can give you a hand with both."
Amy could only imagine how harsh it must be to be stuck in a parallel world without anywhere to go or anyone to turn into, and the Renamon seemed like a good person, so she was glad to help. Not to say that she looked like a nice person. The brunette extended a hand in her direction, her intent to complete the introduction. "Name's Amelie, but just Amy works, to be honest. And... just K? Isn't that a bit too bland for a name? Unless you're a secret agent or something."
The Renamon needed a better name, or at least a nickname with urgency, that much was for sure. "So... do you have any plans at the moment?"

K wasn't sure what exactly this world had planned for her, in fact the sole reason for her being here likely was a mistake or something. She'd scratch her head a little bit and watch the human; head tilting to one side ever so slightly.
"Bits, Very similar to this places... Yen I think it's called? I suppose I can agree with that, though maybe I could do without the fighting. I wonder what their purpose is."
She'd sigh and shake her head, she couldn't agree wholey with the idea of them being not all bad. But at the same time, what were they actually doing in the digital world anyways? She'd blink owlishly at the first query, followed immediately by the second. She'd give them a small smile and look down at her sandwich.
"Yes, A door. Specifically to the one room that has never been actually rented too.401, bit of a running joke since we only have three floors. Well I would hope you can find comfort honestly, it's what Inns are for after all~"
She'd pause briefly and consider the offer of helping her out.
"I need to find out why I am here, it wouldn't send me here without a reason. There must be something I'm meant to do here. The digital world acts in strange ways and the human world is just a parallel to ours isn't it? Vice versa. If you could help me stay here for a bit that would be appreciated."
K looked down at Amelie's hand, blinking owlishly for a few moments. She'd slowly do the same, looking absolutely unsure what humans actually did in this fashion. Though if it was this thing called a "handshake" it likely wasn't too bad right?
"A pleasure Amelie. And yes that's My name. My parents weren't too creative mind you. My father's name was T-bone after his favorite food and my mother's was just B. Usually digimon are just called by their species, but some have names in order to identify better."
She'd take another bite out of the sandwich and blink at the last question. She'd shake her head slowly looking slightly unsure.
"Other than finish this sandwich, talk to you and explore the city a bit more no. The latter can be staggered out quite a bit though."

Bits, that was the name of the thing! Amelie didn't know how she had managed to forget a name that was that simple. Oh well, that was a question she'd ask to herself later.
She took interest on the strange... disposition of K's Inn. Having portals to other worlds in a place that was supposed to be just a common business was... weird? The whole history of the room 401 almost seemed out of some low budget horror film, but she wasn't going to mention that, was she?
"I don't know. I'm not an overly philosophical person." The brunette responded after K stated she must've had a... "purpose" for falling down on this place. "I think it was just an accident, and if you wanna end this small journey, you can do that at any time you wish. It's not like you can't come back here? World traveling gets surprisingly easy once you get a hang of it." Talking about ideology was probably as pointless as it got, however. Views could be so different from one other, and Amelie was a tolerant person.
Or at least she liked to think she was. "I can totally help you with a place to stay if you need it, though! My apartment's not far from this place, and I have plenty of spare space. If you wanna crash in there, that's totally okay."
The handshake was a bit awkward, but it was somewhat satisfactory. Not as satisfactory as K's or her parents' names of choice, of course? Single letters and... T-bone? Man, those were just awful! "Creativity or no creativity, if you were to get a name, might as well be something that isn't a single letter, right? They could've done so much better!"
Now, she was bent on coming up with the best name possible for her new friend. It was her duty at this point, more or less. But for now, she'd have to get the creative juices flowing, and that wasn't something doable after classes; her brain was more or less fried for the day. Her plans were good though. "Guess that's good enough. I can show you the sights if you want but..." Her bike probably wouldn't support comfortably the two of them, so... "Some digimons can get smaller at will, happened to me before. Maybe you could do that too? Otherwise, we might run into some trouble."

K finished off her sandwich and deposited the trash in the bin that sat next to the bench. she'd glance back at the human; ears raising in a mix of curiosity and attentiveness.
"Either way, I'd like to at least stay here for a bit. before going back. I'm fairly sure that Canton and such can handle themselves after all."
She'd shrug and clasp her hands together, looking rather thoughtful. The idea of traveling back and forth between the worlds was rather strange to the renamon but she had to admit that well... She could get used to it, or at least something like this.
"that would be lovely honestly, I don't really need that much space to begin with."
She'd give them a bit of a grin, even during the handshake. which she wasn't sure how long she should even be shaking for though so of course it went a little longer than the human likely planned for.
"Well they weren't really.. that creative. My father being a weregarurumon and my mother being a renamon. They thought they were pretty good names to be honest. I never really thought much of my own name."
She'd shrug a little bit and rub the back of her head, looking somewhat out of sorts. Was it really that strange she had a name such as this? She'd perk up however when Amelie offered to show the sights. She'd give a small grin and nod at first before looking somewhat... Unsure.
"I've spent a long time in this form, but I think I still know how to de-digivolve..."
She'd put a hand thoughtfully to her muzzle for a few moments before well... A small but gentle light engulfed her. Rather than being the fox woman from earlier she was now what could pass as a stuffed animal. She looked a little out of sorts having four legs and not being able to look someone in the eyes like normal. After all viximon was a tiny little thing...
"This feels odd but was this what you were talking about?"

Wanting to stay in this place was fair enough, Amelie reckoned. Planet Earth was definitely a safer, albeit less exciting choice in comparison to the Digital World, and she could guess why a digimon would be curious about it. She nodded at her explanation, smiling brightly at her accepting to remain on her house. An unlikely roommate if she had ever seen them, but it would be so fun!
Or not, maybe? She didn't know much about K, sides the fact that she was friendly enough. Her thoughts ground suddenly at halt at the mention of the Renamon's parents. In all honesty, she didn't know what the heck those names meant. "Huh... I am supposed to assume something at the mention of those species? Because I'm drawing blanks in here."
Despite her answer, at least they were up to a small bike trip through northern Shibuya. K seemed to be a little iffy about that process called devolving, but the result was... unbelievably cute. It almost looked like a stuffed toy fox. "Guess we're good to go, then!" She said, offering her arms for the smaller digimon to jump in. If she did, she'd walk towards her bike, placing her companion gingerly on the space between the top and head tubes. "Ready? We're going!"
She would pedal slowly at first, making sure the digimon was able to maintain balance on that unlikely location before asking. "Any place in particular you wanna go? This ward is pretty big, so I'm open to requests."

k would scratch at her ear and then slowly shake her head; what was there to really assume about those species? One was straight to the point while the other was often just.. Purely simple. There was nothing you could say about weregarurmon other than that; Pure simplicity. It wasn't a bad thing at all; and it made sense to her after all.
"Every Weregarurumon I have ever met, the lot of them are fairly simple individuals. But their is grace in their simplicity. Most renamon's are.. very straight forward. usually really good about hiding their opinions, feelings and the like. I'm not like them amusingly."
She felt a little odd still and hesitated to jump into the human's arms. However after a moment of self debate she did so quickly; not wanting to really consider the idea for too long. After all if someone spotted her as a renamon full and made a problem of it.. well. she didn't want to think of the issues that could arise from it.
"I suppose we are and.. all right!"
She gripped on the top of the bike, feeling a little strange about this form of transportation. Who invented this contraption and why was this more amusing than she initially thought. She had the ability to maintain her balance rather easily; there wasn't any real chance of falling off.
"....That tall tower perhaps? I.. wanted to earlier but.. Uhm. I don't think they'd let me in."
She pointed at one of the taller buildings, it stood much taller than any of the buildings around it. Though it was unlikely such a building would allow for people to go up there without a real reason...

Amelie's looks were even more puzzled than before. It was due to a really simple reason, and one that K didn't seem to understand. Maybe it was just too integrated into her psyche. Well... "I mean it in the sense of... I have no idea what's a 'Renamon' or a 'Weregarurumon'. You could tell me they're a kind of sandwich and I'd probably believe you; well, not really but you hopefully get my drift."
She could probably get an explanation on that matter later, however. For now, they had a road to hit and sights to see! The brunette was happy that her unlikely companion was enjoying the ride. It was exhilarating, in a way.
Picking up the pace, she began to traverse through the streets, briefly gazing at the structure K had pointed at. Despite her initial assessment being a bit pessimistic, the truth couldn't be different. "That's actually... a restaurant and an observation tower. I don't know if it'll be open up until late, but we can definitely get in if you want to. Regarding if they'd let you in or not, just as long as you can stay silent for a bit and handle being inside my backpack while I get in, there shouldn't be a problem. What do you say? You up to it?"
Amelie had been there before, and she had to admit that the sight was utterly breathtaking. Definitely a worthy visit.

"...Oh. Well uhm. My form before? The larger one? That was what we call a renamon. I suppose i'd have to show you what a weregarurumon is for you to really get it I guess.... But uh,. I'm a fox I guess? Kind of? Like humans have that creature, and then there's something called.. Wolves?"
She'd grip onto the bike rather tightly and settle against it the best she could. Then the other explained what that tower was; K would light up a little bit and then nod several times.
"I'd love to see it! I uhm.. Can stay silent, you'd just need to let me know when I'd have to be so... and backpack? You mean the thing you're wearing on your back?"
She'd glance up at amelie, tilting her head slightly so of course her entire body tilted since she was no longer the fox that she was before. She had never really been that high before, even when she was adventuring around in the digital world. Most of the areas she had been in.. Well. Were rather flat or low to the ground so to speak.
"...Are there.. more places that might give a good view like uhm... That?"

"Oooooh!" Now that made sense! So, anthropomorphic foxes were called 'Renamon'? Amelie made sure to make a mental note out of that; it'd come in handy later. "And... that sounds like an interesting pairing, for sure! In this world, the only thing that wolves do to foxes is to eat them every now and then." Then again, the Digital World had probably way more depth to that, considering most of these species were sapient.
They had a plan, then! Go to the tower, see the pretty sights, maybe eat something for dinner and then probably go back to their apartment. K seemed to be game for some acting, so it wouldn't be much of a problem to get in. "Yeah, don't worry! I'll make sure to let you know when you gotta stay silent, but just in case; if you see a lot of people with uniforms and guns and stuff, it's probably for the best to remain silent among them." She then nodded. at the digimon's second remark. "And yeah, the thing in my back is aptly called a backpack. You'll be a little cramped inside, but please bear with it."
And now that she thought of it... were there any other areas with views like that one? The brunette had some ideas about it, honestly. "Well, probably not amazing as that one given it's an observation tower, but I can think of a few places. My apartment is on a third floor and it has a new view from the balcony; we can go to the rooftop too if you want an even higher vantage point. But if you want to get even higher than that... probably a hotel or an office building. Those have a lot of floors."
It would take the group a couple minutes more to reach their destination, but they were well on their way. Five or so blocks would go through really fast.

"By nature of things Digimon cannot eat other digimon, they merely absorb data. But such an action is taboo normally... There are such instances however when you don't want the digimon to come back you do something like that; for when they get absorbed they don't anymore."
She'd frown slightly and shake her head, looking around a little bit as they went. She blinked slowly as Amelie spoke; what she said made sense. Were the people that wore uniforms somehow dangerous or something? Then she used a word that the renamon didn't recognize.
"...Gun? What's a gun?"
She furrowed her brow slightly and then went quiet. The explanation of the backpack didn't really require her to answer; it was more informative and she couldn't really find anything to ask about it.
K would glance back up to the human, brows raised as they explained out things. So there were other places with views and such? Then there was such a thing as her home having some good views. She was looking forward to going there honestly. Sporting a small grin she'd nod before wriggling her ears.
"I look forward to this tower and your apartment. I could always find a way up the side of this buildings. They have grooves for hand holds I noticed as well as some things that you can use the climb as a ladder."
