Flamedramon's attack had hit the refrigerator unit Sangloupmon was nosing around in. However, it was only after the Champion level had sent it flying across the room. The unit exploded, causing more smoke and destruction than before. Flamedramon scans the area, trying to locate his target. In desperation, Flamedramon starts spraying flames around the room, hoping to hit Drac. Unfortunately for him, Sangloupmon avoids the blaze, then tackles the armor Champion level. The two of them go crashing through the wall. Flamedramon is left dazed and confused, staggering around trying to guard himself from another attack.
The two Tamers inside are irritated with the Digimon interfering with their plans. Keramon flails about inside the cage of ice, cursing in binary. It was all he can do at this point. Shirou bangs his frail fists on the freezer door, as his body temperature continues to drop.
"At this rate, this building won't be standing for much longer. Flamedramon, finish them off!" "Our plan isn't working. We need to take Shirou and get out of here."
Outside, Seadramon lurks in front of the store, staring down at Judith.
"Why are you doing this? Don't you realize that innocent people are in danger?"
Seadramon lets out a low grumble, then speaks with a creepy voice.
"You wouldn't understand. Shirou must pay for his actions." "Oh, I understand completely. No one has more reason to hate Shirou than I do. But this isn't the way to handle this. I remember you, Seadramon. I was there during the Data Core tournament Shirou set up. I was there at the Nubar Desert tournament when you and Cassius were freed. I thought you were better than this." "Shows what you know. You're not a Tamer like your brother. You've been an outsider in our world." "Please, the fire is going to spread! I might not be a Tamer, but I know a thing or two about doing what is right. You remember Leomon, don't you? We became very close. He turned away from his evil ways, and you can too." "Rrrawr, Shirou is the evil one. I choose to take pity on you because you are weak. But if you continue to stick your nose in our business, I will be forced to attack you."
"Please, I'm begging you, Seadramon! What happened to that cute little Betamon? Is this really what you want? My brother ran off towards the fire, and he might be in danger. Please, look in your heart and ask yourself if this is really the right thing to do."
Seadramon lets out a low cry.
"Maybe you're right. Cassius and I play by our own rules, but I don't want to hurt innocent people. I'm going to get in trouble later, but I will help you."
Seadramon slithers off, heading towards the burning arcade. Judith sighs in relief, grateful that Seadramon listened to her plea, instead of turning her into an icicle.
Back at the arcade, Stingmon and Birdramon do battle inside the burning building. Stingmon is able to utilize his speed to get the advantage, landing a Spiking Strike, then a big kick. However, Birdramon lets out a loud squawk, and the flames grow taller. Stingmon is burned by the blaze. Birdramon swoops down and tackles Stingmon to the ground.
"Argh, it's just so hot... I can't stand this." "You shouldn't have interfered. Shirou must pay the price."
Outside the arcade, Dante and Kiyoko stand there, searching for a way to put out the fire.
"This is bad! Stingmon could be injured." "There's nothing we can do now. We can't enter a burning building." "I don't have a choice. I have to help Stingmon, I won't abandon him!" "No, wait. Dante!"
Dante charges into the arcade. The heat from the fire is intense. Dante looks around for Stingmon. it is difficult to see through the smoke and fire. He hears Stingmon scream in pain, as Birdramon pecks at him like a bird does to a bug. Suddenly, Dante hears a familiar voice coming from behind him.
"Aww, is your Digimon partner burning alive?"
Dante turns around, and sees Sal standing in front of the exit.
"Sal! Nice to see you with your clothes on, for a change." "Shut up, you pathetic little boy!"
Sal charges towards Dante and connects with a quick punch right to the face. Dante drops to the ground, struggling to crawl away. Sal stomps on the back of his leg, then grabs his foot and twists it back.
"Argh! Why are you doing this, Sal?" "I'm not the only one with a bone to pick with your butt buddy, Shirou. Torturing you is just a perk. Now scream for me, Dante!"
Sal grabs Dante by the back of his hair, then slams his head face first into an arcade machine. She wraps her arms around Dante in a full nelson, then suplexes him backwards onto the ground. Dante lays there, quivering in pain. The smoke continues to fill his lungs, and his vision starts to blur.
"Argh, Sal... don't do this..." "It's too late, Dante. Once I'm done with you, I'm going to torture that pervert Shirou. Say goodbye to Stingmon. Birdramon is about to destroy him."

He spun off of the courage dragon, landing near the hole left in the wall, he tilted his head, "Hm... Was I not clear enough? Please return my brozer, immediately." He requested, tilting his head, before he crouched down, raising his rear into the air, obviously preparing to jump. "Unfortunately, I am not getting much arise from you, therefore, I must utilize more force." He explained, quite calmly.
"If you could possibly reciprocate... I would find myself more reasonable." He explained. He then noticed a banging noise inside of the building... from shockingly weak arms. Was there someone else in there? Well, whoever it was, he was unimportant. He returned his attention to his enemies, the flamedramon, while ignoring the humans, they were just prattling on about this "Shiro" jerk, who cares? This flamedramon must have more interesting thoughts, Sangloupmon assumed, seeing how his foe had been silent until now, "Well? Speak your mind, Homme de feu." He prompted. If there were to be any attacks launched at him, he would simply respond by leaping into the air and raining his Sticker Blades all over the area.

Flamedramon and the two Tamers were getting quite frustrated dealing with Sangloupmon. Flamedramon snarls, generating flames from his hands. It seems Drac wanted to hear Flamedramon's opinion on all of this. He has remained mostly silent up until now, not much beyond a few grunts.
"Grawr! The only thing you need to know about me is that I will destroy you before I let you ruin our plans! I am loyal to Red, and Shirou's punishment has been a long time coming. If you know what is best for you, you will leave at once! Here's something to encourage you!"
Flamedramon's body starts to glow with an orange aura, as he casts a giant wave of flames towards Sangloupmon. much of the room is engulfed in flames. Red and Cassius duck down behind the counter, coughing from the smoke.
"Easy, Flamedramon! Now the store is on fire!" "We need to deal with that creature and get Shirou out of here. Seadramon! Come in here at once! Seadramon! Seadramon?"
Unfortunately for the naughty Tamers, Seadramon has abandoned his post. Back at the burning arcade, Stingmon struggles against Birdramon, while Sal stands victorious over an injured Dante. Sal stomps down on Dante's hand, and he shrieks in pain.
"Are you ready for me to finish you off once and for all?"
Sal goes to stomp on Dante again, but she hears a voice.
"That's enough, Sal!"
Dante and Sal look over, and see Kiyoko standing in the doorway.
"Kiyoko, no... it's too dangerous." "Grr, stay out of this, you shrine maiden freak! What's Dante to you anyway? He's mine!" "Call off your partner and leave at once." "Make me!"
Sal charges towards Kiyoko, and goes for a right hook. Dante knows first hand just how tough Sal is in a fistfight, as she's kicked his butt on more than one occasion. To Dante, and Sal's surprise, Kiyoko dodged the punch, then trips Sal and sends her falling towards a garbage bin. Kiyoko grabs Sal by the waist and dumps her upside down into the garbage.
"Alright, Kiyoko!"
Suddenly, a light blue wave of energy enters the arcade from the outside. Seadramon has reached the arcade, and is using an icy mist to put the fire out. Kiyoko hurries over and checks on Dante.
"Come on, we have to get out of here."
Birdramon flies over and looks down at Kiyoko and Dante like a bird stalking its prey. Seadramon's ice continues to put the fire out. Sal gets out of the garbage and shakes herself off.
"Seadramon? How dare you betray me! The plan's been compromised. Birdramon, let's go."
Birdramon flies over and grabs onto Sal, then starts flying towards the store. Hopefully with all the smoke, people won't notice a phoenix flying across the sky. Stingmon struggles to get up, and along with Dante and Kiyoko, the three of them make it outside. They see Seadramon put the fire out.
"Seadramon... thank you." "Not a moment too soon, old friend." "While I wanted to see Shirou suffer, I didn't want it to happen like this. We need to hurry and get back to the store."
With the fire at the arcade put out, now everyone is going to head towards the store, which is now on fire. Can Drac hold out long enough for Seadramon to return and fight the fire? They still have to deal with Birdramon and Flamedramon, two powerful fire Digimon.

Sangloupmon snorted, shaking his head like an irritating bug flew by his ears, "Loyalty is always so boring. And per'aps I should make myself clear, I could care less about zis Shiro human, release my brozer immediately. Zen I will-" He paused, leaping into the air to evade the wave of fire. He was already prepared to counter an attack like this. He spun, mid-air, as several curved blades flew off of his paws, all four raining down the blades towards his foe. His attention was won, for a moment, as he detected the noise of... a scream? He couldn't pin who's voice it was, or where exactly it was, but he did figure out it was somewhere in that burning building he spotted earlier.
Well, he was busy right now. He might check it later, after all this is done. Besides, he currently had the issue of the fire that still rested below him, he wouldn't be hurt by it, but it would likely damage him and make him have to be careful, as his fur might just even burn off if he wasn't careful. Well, at the very least, there was a simple solution, after all. To preserve his precious fur, he would need to do something interesting. He stopped moving, mid-air, as he seemed to fall into the fire, blackening in the smoke and ash, and vanishing into the inferno. A moment later, a tattered shadow slipped under Flamedramon's feet, sliding into his shadow, as the scent of burnt wolf filled the night air, with the charcoal.

Seadramon escorts Dante, Kiyoko and Stingmon to the store where Shirou is being held captive. Though Birdramon and Sal arrive first. Birdramon lets loose a massive fireball, blasting a hole in the roof. The phoenix descends into the store, and Sal reunites with her new allies. Sangloupmon's blade target Flamedramon, piercing through his armor and delaying him for the moment. To his surprise, a shadow lurks underneath his feet. Even with Flamedramon out for now, the flames continue to rise. The ice cage holding Keramon starts to melt.
Dante and the others arrive outside the store. They meet up with Judith. Dante gives his sister a hug.
"Judith, I'm glad you're alright. Where's Takeshi?" "I lost him in the fog. I'm glad you are okay, too." "So you convinced Seadramon to switch sides?" "She probably nagged him."
Seadramon lets out a low grumble.
"Judith was very persuasive for a Human. I've done some evil things, but I didn't want to see innocents suffer because of our vendetta." "Glad to have you on our side."
Seadramon starts spraying an ice mist at the store to combat the flames, but Birdramon causes the flames to continue to rise.
"This isn't good. We have to go inside and stop them."
Dante goes towards the door, but Kiyoko reaches out and grabs his arm.
"Eh?" "Dante... I don't want to see you hurt by the flames. It was hard for me to watch you enter the last burning building. I know you don't have feelings for me beyond friendship, but, I..." "What's that?" "We can talk about our feelings later. Right now, we've got a creeper to save."
Stingmon charges up his energy cannon, and fires a massive Moon Cannon blast towards the store, blowing a hole in the wall. The group can see inside.
"Look, there's Keramon!"
Smoke continues to rise from the store. The building won't last much longer. Though Shirou remains locked inside the freezer. Struggling to breathe because of the smoke, the three Tamers exit the store.
"Argh, things got out of hand." "Red? Cassius? Just what has gotten into you?" "Stay out of this, Dante. I'll deal with you another time, but this is between us and Shirou."
The flames inside the store have almost spread through the whole building. Other than fire Digimon, anyone inside will surely suffer.
"Why couldn't you mind your own business? Sal, you should have stayed and finished the job at the arcade." "You're blaming me, Cassius?! It's your partner who betrayed us. I should have known better than to trust the likes of you, Defector." "It's bad enough we have to deal with that strange Sangloupmon interfering." "Wait, Sangloupmon? Drac must be inside! We have to save them." "This has gone on long enough! Call off Birdramon, and release Shirou and Keramon."
Stingmon charges his cannon, and points it towards the enemy Tamers. Seadramon swats Stingmon with his tail, then slithers over to his Tamer.
"I didn't want to harm you, but I will do what it takes to protect Cassius."
Dante, Judith, Kiyoko, and Stingmon stand outside across the street from the burning store, while Red, Cassius, Sal, and Seadramon stand in front of the store. Birdramon is inside feeding the fire, Flamedramon is inside as well, but heavily injured. While Drac has been holding his own, the flames will soon become too much to handle. The group needs to figure out a way to deal with these ne'er-do-wells, and rescue Shirou.

Things had not turned out ideally, as, unfortunately, his opponent's careless attacks had surrounded DracNos with a less-than-ideal scenario. All of his senses, even his supernatural ones were being overwhelmed by the ash, the roar of the burning wood, and the light emitted from all of the flames made it impossible for him to deduce his location, or the location of basically anything else. He tried shifting out of his shadow form, as the harsh light was damaging him.
While he was incapable of feeling fear, his lack of perception led him to stumble away from the fire, slipping over the blades on his own feet, and his skull slammed into Keramon's cage. He staggered, again, forcing himself to degenerate to dracmon, and he opened his eyes, before they were seared by the heat and the smoke and ash, so he immediately backed up, clutching his palms to his chest, trying to defend from the fire.
He then decided to press his eyes on the ice, to cool them down, and his eyes found Keramon, once more, so he resolved on a simple goal, break the ice. Luckily, the ice was already cracked from the impact of his champion form. He crouched, charging dark energy in his palms, firing two dark arrows into the already weak point, blasting a hole in the already fragile ice, before he started clawing away the rest.

The sense of danger crawls up Dante's spine, as he watches the store burn in the inferno. Drac is still inside, suffering from the smoke and flames. Sangloupmon reaches his bro Keramon and starts bashing against the ice cage. As the ice continues to melt in the flames, Drac is successful, and Keramon is freed. Keramon flies towards Drac and wraps his cables around the bear in a hug, but their reunion is short lived.
Flamedramon struggles to stand, the flames too much even for the Armor Champion. As Flamedramon goes to attack Sangloupmon and Keramon, part of the ceiling collapses, and buries Flamedramon under a pile of rubble. They struggle trying to get up, but they are exhausted from the battle. Keramon motions towards where Shirou is being held.
Outside the store, both sides have a standoff. Neither side is willing to insight a full on melee.
"What's the matter with you three? Can't you see this is wrong?" "Innocent people have been hurt because of your actions! All in the name of vengeance. You're no better than Shirou!" "What would you know, tramp? Quiet, men are talking." "Don't talk to my sister like that, man whore!" "Argh, this is ridiculous. The store is going to collapse before we get our revenge. Looks like I have to do this myself."
Cassius runs back into the store, heading towards the freezer. He spies Drac and Keramon, picks up a piece of broken glass, and flings it in their direction.
Red, Sal, and Seadramon stand guard outside, while Birdramon is feeding the flames.
"Face it, Dante. You can't save your creeper friend now." "Why don't you finish what you started? What are you so afraid of? You're just going to stand there, smirking? You have nothing to be smug about." "Even if Shirou doesn't fall by my hands, I know his fate is approaching. I don't have to lift a finger. Face it, you've lost."
Stingmon charges up his energy cannon and aims it at Sal, but Seadramon slithers in front of her, screeching at Stingmon.
"That's it! I've had enough of you dumb Tamers messing with our day. Taste my brand of justice!"
Stingmon's shell hardens, and large red and white spider legs begin to emerge. Stingmon digivolves to Archnemon. The Spider Queen uses Spider's Layer, creating a giant web made out of spider silk. Seadramon gets caught in the web. The massive sea monster trashes about, trying to free himself. Red tries to avoid the web, but he backs up and his leg gets caught. Sal leaps up onto a trash can, avoiding the web.
"Pathetic. Birdramon! Make these fools burn!"
Birdramon rises out of the burning store like a, well, a phoenix. The fire bird unleashes a scorching wave of flames down towards the group. Dante, Judith, and Kiyoko do not have enough time to dodge the flames. Would everyone be left standing when this is all said and done?

Drac turned one of his squinting eyes towards the human in his weird jail cell, and moved over there, staggering towards the cage, sticking his claw into whatever lock held it shut, attempting to pry it open physically before getting frustrated and firing another dark bolt at the fridge, blasting it's lock apart, finally freeing the frail human. Drac was feeling somewhat proud of himself, despite his disadvantage, surrounded by a non-ideal environment, he had managed to help out his bro, and this small human guy.
Due to his limited vision, he couldn't see the glass coming, and it slashed his mask, and time seemed to freeze, as Drac staggered from the cut to his face, his hand instinctively slapping over the exposed tissue. In fact, he lost his balance, reeling backwards, before falling back, his head grazing the fire, but suddenly he stopped, both of his feet landing flat on the ground as he stood, knees bent and leaning way too far back to keep natural balance. All the while, he was muttering to himself, difficult to hear through the fire, "... Wha... what is... What am I... What is this... feeling...?" he asked, his eyes open and staring blankly, focusing on nothing. An unseen force pulled him back into a balanced stance, as his head pitched forward, "It... Feels..." He muttered, raising his head, his hand slowly moving to reveal the tear in his clothing.
"...Nice." He finished, revealing a rushing void of energy under his mask, where a number of eyes shot open within, staring in random directions, as a wave of energy washed through the area, causing all of the flames in the area to flicker, and causing everyone in the area to feel a stinging pain near their eye. The pain would end as soon as it began, but the flames suddenly died down, as the pain was dimmed by a chill running up everyone's spine. After this burst, DracNos suddenly pitched forward, losing balance, as the energy in under his mask faded to just a black hole in the tear. He felt the tear with his hand, as if trying to find something, "Where'd it go...?" He asked, in barely a whisper.

To the chagrin of innocent young ladies everywhere, Drac busts open the lock on the freezer and frees Shirou. The pale technophile stumbles out of the freezer, shivering like a tiny dog.
"Oh, thank you, strange c-c-creature! It was so c-c-cold in there."
The shard of glass Cassius threw connects with Drac right in the mask, puncturing his eye. Shirou and Keramon watch as the Virus type experiences pain for the first time. it was almost shocking how Drac found pleasure in such a gruesome injury. The energy radiating from Drac's mask engulfs the flames, extinguishing the store and negating Birdramon's fiery attack directed at the group. Everyone present feels a horrible pain next to their eye, almost as if Drac's pain was being psychically linked to all present.
Both groups outside are surprised at the sudden intense pain, pacifying both sides for the moment. Having failed to contain Shirou and Keramon, Cassius stumbles out of the store, with his hand over his face.
"Damn you, damn you all! Shirou will pay with his life for the wicked things he has done, and anyone that gets in our way will meet the same fate!" "That sounds harsh there, blondie. If we can accept Shirou, why can't you?" "He betrayed our group. He toyed with us. He used us as playthings in his sick and twisted games. I will make him pay."
Kiyoko hunches over, holding onto her face in pain. She almost throws up at the site of Drac undergoing severe damage to his face. As the shrine maiden goes to collapse, Dante catches her in his arms, holding her up.
"Kiyoko?! It's going to be alright. I'm here for you."
The shared pain starts to dwindle. Sal claps sarcastically.
"Well, bravo! You've put out the fires, and saved your weird pervert friend. Don't fall for his lies, priestess... Dante isn't mature enough for a real relationship. Though you two would be perfect for each other. Two pathetic suckers who keep messing with the wrong people." "With the fires out, the smokescreen will soon disperse. We have to get out of here soon." "Not without Shirou!" "The plan has gone awry. Let's get the hell out of dodge while we got the chance."
"Look at yourself, Red. You're as pathetic as they are. Sal, let's crush these fools while we have the chance." "Sounds good to me. I love it when a man takes charge. You wouldn't happen to be free later for a little bit of contact sports, would you?" "Save it, crazy bitch. I've got a girlfriend." "Oh, why are all the cute guys jerks?! Once I wipe Dante's face off my boot, I'm gonna come after you next, Cassius!"
With Drac rescuing Shirou and Keramon, and the rogue team having issues cooperating, this was the gang's chance to save the day. Cassius climbs onto Seadramon, and Sal grabs onto Birdramon. The two Champion levels head to what is left of the rooftop, looking down at Drac and the escaped captives. Seadramon fires a chilling ice blast at the trio, sending several sharp icicles heading their way.
Dante and Judith remain outside, tending to Kiyoko. Dante turns to Stingmon to address his partner.
"Looks like it's showtime, King of Sting. Take down those goons, and let's get out of here before the smoke clears." "Right. Look out, creepazoids! Stingmon's coming to getcha!"
Stingmon takes off and flies toward the rooftop. Keramon is too injured to battle, and Flamedramon is buried under a pile of rubble. The Armor Champion devolves down to RedVeemon, and managed to crawl out, too weak to fight. Kiyoko manages to open her eyes, looking up at Dante and Judith.
"D-Dante, the pain... It was so unbelievably agonizing. The demonic beast had his face sliced open by Cassius." "It's going to be alright, Kiyoko. We're here for you. I am here for you."
Dante and Kiyoko gaze into each other's eyes. Kiyoko's lips quiver and pucker up. Dante goes in for a kiss, but Judith leans in and interrupts.
"She knows you are here. You said that already, Dante." "Way to ruin the moment, sis."

Drac sat there, motionless, staring at the cut on his face, searching desperately for what he saw and felt before, before he seemed to give up, returning his gaze to the outside world, "It's gone... Oh well." He shrugged, turning to Shirou and Keramon "Didja see that!? I felt it! I felt that cut!" He exclaimed, with the exuberance of a child learning to ride his bike for the first time. Oddly enough, the cut on his face looked absolutely normal now, just a black texture under the pierced skin, just like any other cut Drac had ever received prior to this incident.
He stopped, hearing the distressed wails of Kiyoko, he turned towards her, "Oh, come on, it's just a cut! but if you want a demonic beast..." He stated, turning one eye towards the ice blast. This was more welcome than heat. Darkness bred cold, so darkness was comfortable where it's coldest. A snarl could be heard as a pair of fangs snapped onto the back of Shirou's shirt, as Sangloupmon tossed Shirou towards Dante, while his paw pushed Keramon aside, as the icicles approached. He leaped forward, wreathed in shadow, as the ice beam slammed into him, before the mist cleared, revealing a dis-formed puddle of darkness, with spaces around the tips of the icicles, showing he had dodged the attack virtually effortlessly.

Shirou watches as Drac seemed to crave the sensation of pain. More was on the way, as Seadramon's icicles fly towards the trio. Thinking quickly, Sangloupmon saves Shirou and Keramon by tossing Shirou is his mouth out of harm's way, and pushing Keramon out of the way. Just when it looks like Drac is going back for another hit of pain, he avoids the attack, turning into what resembles a puddle.
Shirou is sent flying out of the store, smacking into one of the few remaining sections of wall, as his body ragdolls to the ground landing next to Dante and the others. Keramon floats over and tends to his injured partner. Birdramon gets ready to launch another fire attack directed at Shirou, but Stingmon flies over and rams into the phoenix, sending them both flying into an icy beverage machine. Stingmon holds Birdramon's head underneath the faucet, and sprays cherry flavored slushy all over the firebird's face.
"Yeah! Suck frozen sugar water, you stupid bird!"
While Stingmon is waterboarding Birdramon, Sal jumps down and lands on Stingmon's back. She grabs onto his antennas and yanks them back.
"Take this, overgrown stink beetle!" "Aaaah the pain! Curse you, sushi slut!"
Stingmon reaches back and grabs onto Sal, tossing her over his lead and slamming her on the floor. Birdramon shakes off her face, then scratches Stingmon with her talons.
Cassius and Seadramon lurk overheard. The master thief stares down at what is left of Drac in his current state.
"Silly little creature. You're too ignorant to know what you're getting into. Seadramon, bury that pest under an avalanche!"
Seadramon starts breathing out a frosty wave of cold air, causing massive amounts of ice and snow to form. The ice reigns down upon the part of the store Drac is at. If Cassius has his way, he'll bury the Virus type under a literal ton of ice.
Outside the store, Dante and Judith tend to Kiyoko. While everyone else is preoccupied, Red enters the store to retrieve RedVeemon. He picks up his partner then starts to flee into what is left of the fog. Sal catches a glimpse of her short term ally fleeing.
"You coward! Choke on your ego, man whore!"
Dante stares down at the injured Kiyoko. He brushes the hair out of her eyes, running his hand through her long black hair.
"Kiyoko, how are you feeling?"
Kiyoko holds onto Dante's hand.
"Dante, there's something I have to tell you. I heard you talking on the boat. I understand if you don't have feelings for me." "What are you talking about? You mean what I said to Shirou? I, uh... that's not how I really feel at all. I just didn't want Shirou to know that, well, you know." "What are you saying?"
"I do have feelings for you, Kiyoko. I was just afraid that if I admitted it, it would hurt our friendship." "I feel the same way. Please, forgive me, Dante! I was wrong to loathe you for what you said. I've been so inconsiderate." "No, you have nothing to worry about." "Uh, if you two are done talking about your feelings, we're kind of still in the middle of something right now."

The ice shards quivered, ever so slightly, as the shadow beneath them sealed the holes it formed, and slid away, into the shade of smoldering timber, and as the ice avalanche landed, the shadow stretched onto the wall of the shop, as the inside of the shop was filled with snow and ice. However, Sangloupmon's voice echoed out, sounding ethereal and echoing through the area, "You continue to say zings like "You don't know what you're getting into" and other trash such as zis, I know what I'm doing, I'm interfering in ze plans of a total strangeur, because zey 'ad ze rudeness to kidnap my brozer." the voice said, as the shadow slipped through a single crack between the snow and wall it was pressed up against.
Sangloupmon lunged out of the shadow, his body still partially melted into shadow, but his claws realizing quick enough for him to throw a rush of slashes at Seadramon, the one he had been fighting seemingly all day, but had given him a curious sensation that everyone seemed to be overreacting about. On that note, he felt something, why weren’t they happy? Why wasn’t this discovery celebrated? Well, it was certain that girl couldn’t begin to comprehend his immeasurable joy, and Dante just wasn’t paying attention.
Due to being lost in his thoughts, a stray block of ice struck him in the side, and sent him tumbling over to where Stingmon was currently being double-teamed. “vers gars!” Sangloupmon barked, seeming to be speaking to Stingmon. “Zing’s aren’t working out, Dante isn’t paying attention, we need to work togezer!” He stated, standing but staggering as he realized one of his feet was damaged from the chunk of ice, and he realized running would be a smidgen difficult. The familiar cold greeted his wound, however, and he felt no difference than it normally, it was only his stunted stance that informed him of it’s damage, rather than the sensation from before. He felt disappointed, but his original point remained, even if Drac digivolved, now that his leg was injured, matadormon would be less effective, and he wouldn’t be able to support stingmon. The two needed a plan of some sort, as the way things have been going, it was going south very quickly.

As Seadramon reigns ice and snow down upon the store, Drac creeps into the shadows, avoiding a vey cold fate. Sangloup then goes on to explain that the reason he is interfering is because they messed with Keramon, someone Drac has a bond with. Cassius scoffs at the Virus type, and rolls his eyes in disapproval.
"You think that computer bug is your brother? I made the mistake of trusting him once. Apparently I'm still terrible at choosing allies."
Sal takes offense to Cassius' comment.
"Hey, this ain't no picnic for me, you smug butthole." "Quiet, slut face."
Drac extends his claws from the shadows, violently slashing at Seadramon. The ice serpent shrieks in pain, having been fatigued from a day of fighting. At this point, Seadramon is questioning his partner's motives, but he is loyal enough to fight until the end.
Sangloupmon leaps from the walls, standing next to Stingmon across from Birdramon and Seadramon. The sneaky bear makes it clear that they need to come up with a game plan if they are going to triumph. Stingmon cracks his knuckles, tilting his head down and looking straight towards his opponents.
"Don't worry, old friend. The plan is we beat them into a bland paste that tastes so bad, even old people wouldn't eat it." "I don't know what's worse, your plan or your insults." "Like I care what you think, thief!"
Stingmon channels his energy into his energy spike, then stabs Birdramon with an agonizing Spiking Strike. While Stingmon is preoccupied, Seadramon breathes out a chilly mist, sending three ice spears flying out. One of them punctures Stingmon through his left arm, damaging his energy spike. Stingmon retreats back a few feet, holding onto his wrist.
"Gah! My arm! I can feel my energy depleting."
With Stingmon weakened, Birdramon turns her attention to Drac, flying towards the Virus type and attempting to strike with a fire claw. Sal watches on from a distance, pleased with how her side is doing. She stands with her hands on her hips, leans back and laughs.
"Aha ha haha! It's useless to resist. Accept your beating like a real 'Mon."
Dante tends to Kiyoko outside of the store, not giving his full attention to the fight. There wasn't much else he could do. Stingmon couldn't Digivolve any further, as a giant Ultimate level spider roaming around town was sure to raise a few eyebrows. Kiyoko looks up into Dante's eyes, and rubs her fingers down his cheek.
"I'll be fine. You need to support your friends." "But, I care about you too much to just leave you like this." "I can take care of myself. Besides, I prefer Judith's company over yours anyways. Ha ha..." "You always act so serious, and you choose now to joke around? Hmph, you surprise me, warrior priestess. Okay, I will do what I can."
Dante leaves Kiyoko with Judith, and heads towards the store.
"Stingmon, Drac, you need a change in strategy. Stingmon, you're not going to topple those two by going full on Rambo. You need to outsmart them. Think, is there something that you two can do to get the edge?" "Why don't I just Digivolve and nuke these bozos?" "If you Digivolve, we will Digivolve, and then half the block will be destroyed in the battle."
These Tamers had caused enough damage already. It is clear Sal and Cassius will not back down until Shirou pays with his life.

If Sangloupmon had eyebrows, they would have raised them at Cassius's response, before he chuckled, "Well I suppose zis is a case of ze...birds of ze feather. I am a "computer bug" aussi." He explained, as eloquently as he could, with his fangs and ferocious demeanor. He then turned to Stingmon, scowling and flicking his ear, as if irritated by a fly, "Zat's not a plan, zat's only what you want out of zis." He explained, kicking his injured foot outwards, trying to make it work again.
Hearing her approach from a mile away, Sangloupmon dove to his left, off of his right leg, as it was much more reliable at the moment. The second he landed on the ground, he tumbled over, rolling like a stray saw blade, scratching the ground, before he sprang back to his feet, again regrouping with Stingmon. "I know, Bete comme tes pieds! Stingmon needs to focus. I zink we need more precision, but even so, if we can best the bird quickly, the serpent will give low resistance. 'E's running on fumes as it is." He turned to Stingmon, "Let us pound these tetes de noeuds into ze ground. Togezer." He accentuated, "We will need to combine our strength, our bodies are at our limits." He explained, turning his head towards Stingmon's wound. "Allez, ensemble." He said, pointing his head at Stingmon's general direction, but physically unable to stare into his eyes to pressure him into agreeing.

Seadramon and Birdramon's combination of ice and fire was proving to be quite difficult to handle. Sangloupmon explains that they have reached their limit, and if they are going to beat the duo, they need to become one.
"You mean, like a biomerge or something? Oh, DNA Digivolution. My speed with your agility, or is it your speed with my agility? Get ready for a big butt whoopin', fish sticks and spicy chicken wings! Digi fuse!"
Stingmon's armored shell begins to radiate data. A black fog appears around the duo, as Sangloupmon and Stingmon join together. A column of fog rises up from the ground, and expands outward.
"Argh, what is the meaning of this?!"
A blast of energy shoots out from the center of the fog, revealing a purple and red dark warrior with a blue cape, and two lethal blades. Enter EvilGrademon. The Ultimate level swings his swords around and poses.
"Behold! Two unholy monsters for the price of one, with a bad attitude to boot! Now, which one of you chumps should I, I mean, we, take down first? Seadramon, you're looking a little parched there. Can I get you a glass of water or something?"
"DNA Digivolve, whip out some cards, whatever you've got up your sleeves, it will never be enough to stop us. Seadramon, it's time to humiliate those two obnoxious brats once and for all."
Seadramon slithers over towards EGmon, glaring down at the Ultimate. The sea serpent raises its tail, attempting to smack EGmon with its scaly backside. Meanwhile Birdramon creates a spiral of fire circling around EGmon and Seadramon like a spring, as it slowly shrinks in size.
"Ha! One less fool to put down. It figures idiots like you would hang out with that pervert."
Dante watches on from next to the exit. He is impressed with Drac and Wormmon's fusion, and has never seen his Digimon partner Digi fuse before. What was it like having those two personalities in one mind at once? Dante and Wormmon have biomerged before, so they are at least somewhat familiar with the phenomenon, but it didn't take long for Dante and the Worm King to start bickering with each other. Would Drac and Wormy be able to cooperate in their first outing against veteran opponents?
