Bellamy was delighted from Ken's reaction to the photo. "Heh yeah. And, uh, we may be gettin' another one in the family soon too" he grinned a little sheepishly, as though there was a subject that he wasn't sure was appropriate to talk with a younger digimon about. "Yep, they're awesome, especially when Coronamon-" he broke off again. Dangit, why did Coronamon have to give his sweetest smile in this picture? "That's pretty much how I reckon it goes, yeah" Colin agreed with Takeshi. Luke meanwhile noted that Ryu seemed to be worried about something. And so he looked concerned, eager to listen. "Do you want to move to a more discreet spot?" he whispered back at Ryu, able to be heard over the clattering of the train, but Bellamy and Colin seemed to be engaged in conversation. If Ryu agreed to move to another berth, Luke would move, then listen. "Sure, you can ask me about that. If something's bothering you I'm always ready to listen" he said gently. While Bellamy was the more boisterous of the two brothers, Luke was rather more intelligent and could hopefully be equipped to help him. Meanwhile the Trailmon made its way east across the Network Plains. Luke was proud of the restoration work he and his partner and brother had done to help make it as good as new. Ken looked puzzeled at what Bellamy said, he was not sure what Bellamy meant, atleast he had hoped what was on his mind to be wrong. "Heh, man you really like coronamon. I can see it in your eyes, its like you found out the true meaning of peace or something. " Ken chuckled a little bit, seeing someone so in love, felt nice its like Bellamy's positivety rubbed of on him. " how did you two meet ? You and coronamon I mean." He asked his face riddeled with curiousty.
"Hey Colin, I was wondering if you could tell me about the factions here. I assume there are more than just PROFIT and AEGIS, that and the digimon factions are interesting like the angels of luminas" Takeshi asked some question that where bothering him the most. Plus this knowledge might help making him a better partner to Ryu and Ken. Especially since he has been a little whats the word........useless. he is desperately trying to improve himself, in order to be useful.
"Yeah, I would like that. Thanks luke" Ryu whispered hoping that Takeshi and Ken won't notice that he is going. Which they are thankfully are, he then goes to a place where the rest of the squad can not hear them.
"You see luke, the thing is......the images are getting clearer every day. Yesterday I saw a leomon teaching a class with me and Ken in the front row, then I saw a strabimon and Me fighting. And the last clear image, was something that kept me awake for quite a while. It was first person view, its was an Astamon shooting me filling my body full of holes, killing me while laughing maniacly. This freightend me because for a moment I felt the pain like it just happened, I researched it and its apparently called phantom pain. Anyways I want to know have you been through this, if so What do I do Luke?" Ryu's eyes was desperate, if not a little scared. He thought of his options and seeking Luke's help was on the top of the list of things he needed to do.

Bellamy smiled warmly when Ken deduced that he really liked Coronamon. "Yeah, I do" he said. "In fact we're gonna get married soon... just as soon as we can get the information on exactly how weddings work..."
Bellamy didn't know how digimon weddings operated. And he wanted to make sure that his worth every moment. Of course, their current schedule as members of PROFIT meant it couldn't happen for a while, but, it would happen, that he was sure of. Bellamy had loved Coronamon so much for over a year and saw no impediment to their relationship, so he thought it was right.
Ken asked how they met. Bellamy grinned wistfully, remembering their old moments.
"We first met in our previous lives... before we were reconfigured" he said. "I was a mercenary, and Coronamon was an ex-mercenary turned chef. I felt pretty... bad one night". He regretted that moment, when he had a quarrel with Luke when they were not more than mercenary partners and Luke had temporarily abandoned him. "But Coronamon took me in and listened, and we became friends".
What happened after, Bellamy would not reveal, as it was only a tragedy that filled him with rage. This would only be satiated by Colin coming through on his promise to take him and Luke to the dark area to take out the digimon that had ended their previous lives.
"But then we met again when we were partner digimon in Whitewater. I thought Coronamon was so cute and told him, and he responded back happily, then, later on, we found our digimentals in the Ancient Ruins outside Rustport and we got along again. Then... we had our first official date in Terminus, and, heh, it was so awesome. Our partners let us have our private time, we climbed on top of a skyscraper near a live music concert, and we danced the night away, then, we cuddled and made it official that we were boyfriends".
Bellamy was so happy rekindling his memories. While he had been a random flirt in the past, well, there was only one digimon recipient of his affection these days.
With that story told between Bellamy and Ken, Colin looked at Takeshi when he asked of the other factions around the place.
"Well, in the past, there were two main factions, DATS and Vexus" Colin began. "DATS were the law enforcers of the world, and Vexus were their counterparts - existing for vice and pleasure. That was a few years ago though, and when both of these organizations collapsed, there was a pretty big power vacuum".
He then thought of factions other than PROFIT and AEGIS. "Well, there's also the Etherial Guardians, which is a faction that deals in justice of the digital world. And then there's this new shady group, the Mazoku. I'd just say be careful of them".
While they were having this conversation, Luke moved with Ryu and listened to his problem. The Elecmon frowned and raised his paw to his mouth as he heard more. Ryu was having phantom memories of his old life. Namely the memories that had been most impressionable on his life. And that last memory, of the Astamon killing him, Luke shook his head and sighed. "Oh Ryu... I'm so sorry" he said. Then he supposed he'd share his own haunted memory of the last moments of his old life.
"I know what you're feeling. The last memory of what happened to me and Bellamy... a Dinohumon had slashed me across my eye, and cut off Bellamy's hand. This feeling... it won't go away. You'll remember it for the rest of your life, and I'm sorry about that. But... I can advise that you understand the meaning of it. It's part of your story. Something bad and traumatic has happened to you in your past, but, if you ever get to truly cope with it, you have to make it part of your story. Don't ignore it, don't try to cast it aside, accept it as why you became brothers with Ken, and use that to carry you onward".
Luke hoped that these frank words would help Ryu. If not, he would try to help him out more.

Ken was suprised and happy in the same time, but how does digimon wedding work anyway ? Eh why think about that now, its a joyous occasion. "Nice, congratulations bellamy. Man I am so happy for you man, if you decide to do a big wedding do not forget to invite us man." Ken said with a huge smile on his face, this was a great moment. But ofcourse bellamy is a busy guy, they will understand if he does a small wedding.
Ken listened intentely as bellamy telled his story, apparently they first met in their previous lives, which made him think. What kind of people did he meet in his past, were they good or bad, who did he forget ? But now is not the time to think about it.
"Oh, so is coronamon a chef ? That sounds amazing. " with that breif interruption, ken went back to listening, the story captivated him. It looks like Coronamon helped bellamy in his time of need, but then belmamy skipped ahead to the point where they became partnered digimon. Ken could only guess what happened between their previous life and now, the only thing that he was sure of was that both luke and bellamy were probably killed. He decided not to ask about it and let it go, there were no reason to dwell on the past, after this conversation was about the future.
"Oh, a music concert in terminus huh ? Cool spot for a first date. Man what a story, to think you found eachother in another life. That is a miracle if I ever heard one, man now I am more excited to meet coronamon. " ken said with a carefree smile, while he does not want to think about it now but bellamy's story made him want to regain his memories more so than ever before.
While Ken and bellamy were having this conversation, Takeshi was listening carefully to Colin who was giving Takeshi valuable information.
"I see, DATS and Vexus. Good and evil, law and chaos. Intreseting, So they collapsed ? What happened to them, were they reduntant ?" He asked stroking his chin, the digital keeps on getting more and more intereseting. But ofcourse he can't go around it willy nilly, he needs to be careful not only for him but for his twins as well, for that he needs information
Etherial guardians and Maozoku, those were interesting names to say the least. Justice of the digital world ? Sounds a little too righteous, but who is he to judge, his partner Ryu is probably one of the most righteous people. But what caught his interest the most was the maozoku, "shady you say, their name can translate to cat people so I'd say they are pretty weird" Takeshi chuckled at his own joke, well the translation was true though.
"But anyways, thanks. You know with how big the digital world is, information is vital if we plan to make it out there. To be honest, I do not know why I decided to help Ryu and Ken with their memories, but something about that felt......right, you know what I mean" Takeshi said, giving Colin a look that probably says "I can't describe it".
While Takeshi and Ken are having conversation, Ryu seeked Luke's advice. But Luke said I am sorry to him, he looked down defeatedly. His ears would perk once as Luke shared with him history, it was horrifying. For a second he did not know how to respond, but he took a breath and collected his thoughts "oh Luke, I did not know. Heh, I guess I was right for going to you for help. And you are right, we can't change the past. But our actions will shape the future, so we should work hard for the sake of the new dawn. Thanks man you words meant a lot, now all I can hope for is for our memories to come back. In order to pay our respects for those who we might have forgot." With a bright look on his face, Ryu is back to how he was. He knew deep down that what luke said was right, he just needed to hear some one say it.
"Oh, by the way. Can I ask how you got yours back ? It might help us get ours." He thought, he should ask as they have a little privacy. Hopefully the subject was not too sensitive.

Bellamy grinned at Ken. "Heh, of course we'll invite you guys" he said. "It'll probably be in Whitewater, that's a nice place. And heh, probably won't be too big, we don't really wanna make a big scene of it".
Mainly because making a big scene could invite trouble, something Bellamy didn't want. It'd be invite only, but an invitation to everyone he knew and liked. And Ken was so far one of them.
"Ohh yeah, Coronamon's a chef. Heh, hell I fell in love with him before I tried his cooking, first time he cooked for me, we-" he looked at Colin and realized he was still 14, so, yeah, best not share those details.
Instead, Bellamy smiled at Ken's sentiments. "Yeah... although I'm kinda thankful we digimon never really die". He was kinda sad that it was the fragility of memories that held the strongest. He was very lucky to hold most of his memories when he was killed, probably because in his dying moments he had asked Luke to stay with him, and he had, and perhaps that was why they remembered.
Colin meanwhile was focusing on Takeshi, given that Bellamy was talking about his fiance and the 14 year old didn't really want to focus his attention to what an Impmon and Coronamon did behind closed doors, but thankfully Bellamy was going well at censoring himself.
"Yeah, that's pretty much it" Colin said. "I'm not entirely sure of the story, since they collapsed before I came to the digital world, but, apparently Vexus launched an all-out attack on Luminas City - that's a city in the digital world that floats in the sky. And as far as I know, they were defeated by the digimon there, and disbanded shortly after, probably for being outlaws".
As for DATS? "My sister thinks that DATS fell because they got too involved in the workings of the digital world" he said. "The digimon seem to mostly be okay with humans, but, when DATS starts dragging independent digimon off for imprisonment and deletion for looking at a human the wrong way, then that's bad for publicity. I think they were driven out of the digital world and disbanded because their leadership disappeared. But this is just hearsay, I can't tell you exactly what happened".
Colin agreed about the Maozoku. Even if he had only lived in Japan for 3 years and mostly spoke in English, that Japanese word he had learned intrigued him. "They so far seem to be inactive, but, I'd be worried when they start enacting operations" he said.
Colin smiled at Takeshi's sentiments. "Yeah... I understand that feeling. When I found out that Luke and Bellamy had their issues when we biomerged, and how much it hurt them, well, I of course wanted to help them" he smiled at the Impmon sitting opposite, and Luke seemed to have gone off to talk to Ryu. "But these guys have been nothing but nice to me. Since they got their holosuits, they've even been my best friends at school, and... I feel so much more confident when they're around".
Bellamy flashed a grin at his partner to say that it was alright. Colin had brought him in power to Super Mega, so he'd follow Colin to the end of the world if that's what it took.
Luke meanwhile was glad to have this conversation with Ryu. With it, he smiled a little.
"That's okay. While we won't forget the pain, well, we're still around, and soon enough, that Dinohumon won't be" he said. In fact, thinking of it made his blue eye flash a little - the one that had been cut in his last life. He realized this and looked abashed. This was a side effect it seemed. Whenever Luke or Bellamy felt angry, one of their eyes would flash and their attacks would go stronger - this effect most prominent when seeing their brother get attacked. But if Ryu chose not to comment on it then Luke would move past that.
Then Ryu asked how he got his memories back in the first place. Luke sighed. He probably couldn't help with this. "The truth is? We never really lost them to begin with" he said. "But... that's probably because the Dinohumon spared our data before leaving us to die..." he then paused, but had a ghastly thought. Absorption. One of the most horrible things a digimon could do to another.
"It's kind of horrible to talk about, so please stop me if it's too much" Luke began. "But... there is a possibility that Astamon absorbed some of your data. And the only way to get it back... is maybe take it back from him?"
Instantly Luke felt the urge to be true to that. "If you need help to do so, Bellamy and I could try to find him and help you take him out" he said. "We're Super Megas, we can stomp on a Perfect level easily..." unless he had evolved to Super Mega as well of course.

Ken smiled, he was happy that they wil be invited to bellamy's wedding. He the rubbed his chin, he almost looked like he was thinking hard. "Hey I beleive that people should give the married couple a gift, if thats I think I have the perfect gift. Although it needs some work. Not going to tell you what it is, its going to be a suprise" He said as he played around with his microphone. Singing a song for bellamy and coronamon would be cool, but he needs to write a small song from scratch.
He then listened to bellamy talking about coronamon's cooking before stoping abruptly, it took ken a second to understand what bellamy was trying to say or atleast what ken thought he was going to say which made ken laugh. It was inappropiate to say infront of Colin who is just a 14 year old, or atleast that what Ryu told him. He then stopped laughing giving bellamy the thumbs up, letting him know that he understood that.
Ken then smiled before looking out of the window "yeah to be honest I did not know how amazing that gift was, but now I know how lucky we digimon are. But anyways I have a question for you, where is finn ? Is he with coronamon ?" Ken asked trying to avoid talking about the past, he then picked up his microphone spining it in his hand.
Back to Takeshi who was having fun learning more about the organizations that once were in the digital world. He didn't pay attention to bellamy and coronamon, he did hear Ken laugh which was interesting.
"Huh, interesting. I heard a lot about luminas, lots of postive stuff. Altough I heard alot of negatives as well, regardless attacking the land of the holy digimon is not a smart idea. I might be harsh but they brought it upon themselves. I wonder if some of the members still exist today ? " He said as he took out a chocolate bar from his bag, he then looked out of the window wondering when will they arrive.
He took a bite from the chocolate bar, as he listened to Colin talk about DATS. From what his sister said, DATS seemed to have been drunk with power. "Hmm, if what your sister said was correct then DATS got too greedy. Happens to a lot of people and organizations sadly, but I am glad that your sister started AEGIS. Hopefully they help the Digimon-human relationship. In fact I might one day visit the AEGIS HQ, I am really interested in how they operate" Takehi took another bite from his chocolate bar, he would do that on a later date and with any luck he would get an oppturinity to meet Colin's sister and leader of AEGIS Sophie but thats for later
Takeshi smiled back at Colin " huh interesting, so biomerge can help you understand your partners ? Its still a weird concept to me, can you indulge me on that? " Takeshi said as he finished his chocolate bar.
Ryu on the other hand was happy that he was having this conversation with luke, it helped him gain some prespective on life.
Ryu was suprised luke's anger as his eyes flashed blue, not knowing what to say and in fact feeling the same kind of frustration without a visual indictator ryu chose to say nothing. But his eyes shifted towards the ground a brief second before looking at luke again. "What really ? You never lost them ? Oh, well thats good." He said smilling, he was frustrated that it happened to him and his brother but it is good to know that bellamy and luke did not go through it.
He then sighed as Luke mentiomed something he had thought about "data apsorbtion, you know I would be lying if I said I had not thought about it. But if that the case then we have to get stronger. " he said with fierce determination, his eyes told the story of a brave man.
"Thanks, Luke. That actually means a lot to me, but I think we have to fight that battle ourselves. But if we need any help I will know who to call. Also if you need anything from us let us know. deal ?" Ryu said as he lent out his hand for a hand shake. Ryu valued the advice and help that luke gave him, and sees him as a close friend.

"Heh, well, I'm sure we'd be happy with whatever ya bring pal" Bellamy said, patting Ken's arm in a friendly way. Man, this Shoutmon was really kinda sweet. Much better than he was when he had just evolved to Rookie. Although yeah, Bellamy was a Virus attribute and less inclined to be all nice and stuff. Well, now that he had blended with a Data attribute, he kinda appreciated nicety now.
Bellamy shot a smirk as Ken seemed to understand where he was coming from. Of course Colin did too, but he was glad for Bellamy's restraint. One time when in the earlier stages of their relationship, when Bellamy and Coronamon decided to get all steamy in his room, Colin had dragged them out into the spare bedroom and told them to get it out of their systems, whatever they did. It had taken half an hour, but, at least it calmed them down for the rest of the night.
Then Ken asked where Finn was. "Yeah, Finn generally hangs around with Marshal and Coronamon" the Impmon replied. "Just their place is a bit more suitable for him, seein' as Marshal's an only child and he lives with his mom. Meanwhile our house has me, Luke and Colin's sister's partner Lantis. But I still visit when I can".
It was kind of tricky having responsibilities as both a dad and a digimon partner, but, Bellamy felt like he had managed to strike a balance of sorts. Bellamy's attention then was picked up by the talk about Luminas. That made him grimace.
"Ugh, tell me about it. First of all, those buttholes are racist toward Virus attributes for a start" he said, scowling. "When I visited up there they told Colin to keep me on a leash! I mean what the hell is up with that?!"
"Yeah, that was... unpleasant" Colin said. Even if Bellamy was a Virus attribute, he had known him to be one of the most friendly, kind and heroic digimon he had known so far. Yes, his temper could be a problem, which became more pronounced the higher he evolved, but, he mostly knew him in his rookie form, where he had the personality of an extrovertive, playful, friendly young adult.
As for the status of Vexus? "Yeah, ex members are still around. I met two. Kan and Viktor, although I guess Kan is still alright". Colin's feelings about Viktor were as yet unresolved.
Talk of AEGIS meanwhile was exciting for Colin, mainly because not only was he related to its leader but he was totally on board with its aims. "Yeah, I'm sure you'd be welcome. If you tell Sophie that you're one of my friends, she'd be able to let you in with no troubles". He at least hoped so.
That was at least something that Colin believed would make AEGIS last - the respect of the bond between human and digimon. Sophie was prepared to let tamers be tamers, as long as they didn't bring violence. And so far it seemed to be working. She respected science, so of course she'd gather intelligence about the means of digimon on Earth, but, of course, she knew that trying to keep humans completely separate from digimon was impossible. Digimon were like pets, guardians and best friends rolled into one, and it would be pointless to fight such a thing. And since Sophie had her own partner, Lantis the Leomon, she understood this.
Then Takeshi asked about the process of biomerge. Colin gathered his thoughts for a moment, then, explained in the way he thought would be right.
"It happened in a moment where I honestly thought that things were going to all fall apart" he said. "There we were, in Whitewater, Chaosmon appeared in the sky and seemed to be about to destroy everything. And Luke and Bellamy couldn't lay a scratch on him. I thought it was all over, then they returned to me. They asked me for trust, and, in that moment, I gave it to them, and that trust involved me giving them my body".
Luke and Bellamy had never, ever done anything to betray him. And in that moment, their words had proven true. Colin had given them his body, and thus their ultimate biomerge. He had accepted the Impmon and Elecmon as a part of him, and they had combined to create the entity known as BlackJupitermon.
"It was strange at first, but, we got used to each other. We all had our secrets, but, in one second, each of us knew them all. And we ultimately understood each other. In that way, we were able to overcome the enemy in front of us".
Colin realized he had been rambling a bit, then smirked again. "Ah, sorry, got a bit carried away" he said.
Meanwhile, Luke was a little glad that Ryu didn't bring attention to his loss of control for the moment. Luke didn't like being perceived as a dangerous digimon. Although, his temper had been a little harder to maintain since he had biomerged with Colin and Bellamy. Perhaps this was a part of his transformation too? Since Bellamy had seemed to mellow out a little, as well as share some of Luke's fur patterns such as his white belly, it seemed Luke had gained some of Bellamy's old data, such as his purple fur on his back, a more sleek, thin, impish appearance, well, at least he hadn't lost his wits.
So then, Data absorption was a possibility. Luke wished it wasn't so, but, it seemed likely that it was. Ryu then said that he and Ken would rather fight their battle themselves, but if they needed help, they'd call on them. Luke supposed that was the right thing to do. He didn't want to diminish the twins' journey by making him and Bellamy a part of it if they didn't want to. "Alright. Any support you need, we'll arrange it" he said, shaking the Veemon's hand with a smile.
Then, they felt the Trailmon slow down. It seemed that they were getting close to the Training grounds.
