Evening at the Downtown was as relaxed as it could get; the sun's gentle descent that heralded the arrival of nighttime was the signal nightlife awaited to begin. One after another, neon lights began to turn on while youngsters began to flood Shibuya's streets. Even on a weekday, the amount of people hat looked just to have a good time was sizable, and that presented a bit of an... inconvenience for a certain brunette. By this point, she was somewhat used to navigate Tokyo's streets and not getting hopelessly lost, even though she was sure she'd never get used to the crowd being as thick as a river of tar. What she also disliked about the crowds were that they just never seemed to end, and that people pushing or stumbling onto anybody was a pretty common occurence. Or said people being pretty caustic about it. The fact that she was a foreigner didn't help that at all, but it wasn't like it was totally unbearable. Just had to deal with it more or less an hour per day before reaching the relative comfort of her apartment. Even though as of late, she hadn't found that much comfort there. It was a bit of a unlikely possibility, but maybe... she could hang around this place for a little more? Considering it at first sounded ridiculous, but the more she did... the more enticing it seemed. corona

Corona pushed herself through the sea of people with a practiced ease which exists only in those who grew up in such conditions, bending and shifting her body to slide through her fellow pedestrians without slowing down. Her eyes were somewhat glazed over as she walked on autopilot, not quite noticing the brunette who didn’t quite flow with the rest of the crowd. In a moment of confusion she moved in the wrong wat to get around the brunette and instead rammed into her shoulder first, pushing her aside but not slowing down. She glanced over her shoulder at the woman soon after, but never did stop in her walking.
“If you’re gonna be in the way try a back alley.” She advised as she stared back at the woman, a look of annoyance, bordering on scorn. “At least that way I wouldn’t have to deal with you.”

Wow.
She could deal with most of what this city could throw at her, but at times, even Amelie could display her sour mood times. Like, with the person who had just rammed into her; no apology, nothing at all. Instead, just a caustic remark while she kept walking away.
Not much she could do at that, honestly, well... except for answering in kind. She didn't stop walking either, but if the person who had collided with her wanted to vent out, it was fair to do the same, right?
"You wouldn't have to deal with me either if you spent your brain energy on looking where you're going instead of staring annoying at others, you know?"
This probably was going to be a long day, but with any luck, it'd end soon. Or at least without further incidents; for all what she had known, dealing with angry people on the street was something that majorly happened while you drove, not while you walked...

Corona grinned perhaps a bit too widely for someone who was just who was just insulted, though to her an insult was more like an invitation: an invitation to have some entertainment.
She stopped in the street, her shoulders dancing between the bodies as they flowed around her, fighting through them like a fish swimming against the current, her body deftly sliding between them as she slowly encroaches on the woman who had insulted her, her grin spreading and her stare boring into their skin. “You know what that sounded like to me? A challenge. I don’t care who or what you are, if you challenge me I’m gonna return fire.”
At this point she was face to face with the woman, having stopped her in the middle of the flow of people. “Maybe we should take this aside though, unless you want to be trampled when I take you down.” She threatened, reaching out to grab your arm and lead you through the crowd into a side alley where the two of you would have more room.

This was something that Amelie hadn't expected on the slightest; being confronted and then, an attempt to drag her who knows where? She didn't know who this girl was, but if she could help it, she wasn't having any of this.
Getting carried away from the crowd wouldn't prove to be en easy task, especially if she was resisting. "Wait a moment, nutjob." The teenager would promptly say, obviously displeased with the whole situation. "I have no idea what you pretend to do, but I never said I wanted to have anything to do with it."
And truth was that she didn't.
In moments like these, the teenager couldn't but curse her luck; she hadn't even begun this strange fight and was already paying for it. That was just how things were, weren't they? And the worst part about this is that this would make her take even more time than before...

Corona released your arm, surprisingly disappointed by the turn of events and the girl’s hesitation. “Awe, and here I was excited that I’d get a fight.” She pushed you back into the crowd in an effort of letting you go. “Well, just try to keep an eye out then, next time you might get one of my friends and they aren’t ones to simply let a fight go. Just give me a call if that happens and I’ll punch them out for ya.”
You know, her change in demeanor was actually quite drastic. It didn’t feel like some sort of mental issue, not strange enough for that, it was more like she had just been disarmed and had to change her plan, almost like she was sad that she wasn’t able to get a fight out of you.
Reaching into her jacket she pulled out a phone, navigating the menus to dial a number you don’t recognize. After three rings someone picks up, though you can’t quite make out who they are. “Hey, bro, where you at? Really? I’m not too far from there, is anyone else close enough to start something? Awesome. Where though? Bridge? Nah, too much attention there at this hour, how about the backstore? Sounds like a plan.”

Alright, that was a little bit of a relief, at the very least. Honestly enough, Amelie wasn't really sure what this whole situation was about, and why the person in front of her had changed attitudes that quickly, going as far as to give her a tip on how to handle her "friends". Well, speak of strange occurrences.
Somewhat puzzled at the sudden development, the brunette just stood there for several seconds, pretty much befuddled at what was happening in front of her; somebody so casually wanting to fight and then having a phone conversation in front of the person they were about to fight was... just weird.
Oh well. Once she got back to the real world, she shrugged and, after a brief pause, resumed with her small walk. This had just been an incident that at most would just be a decent anecdote. Nothing more and nothing less.
Some days had the ability to... just be weird; had this been a wasted opportunity to meet a new person? She frankly doubted it.
Then again, there wasn't much she could about it. Sometimes, even the most unassuming of situations could be difficult. [Exit Thread]
