The jesmon shifted to watch the diminutive form of her opponent for a few brief seconds. Their response to her name was not a surprise, she didn't need to have a fancy name for everything and the simpler the better after all. Sure; her nordic theme for everything here was kind of obvious. But honestly the name picks weren't even hers. They were the other's that she had as a part of her now.
The fact that she had three of these bloody Javelins was really starting to weigh on her. They slowed her and they stung a little bit; but they certainly were adding up. Just how many of these things could the Arniomon have lodged in her at once? How many did she need to have lodged in? Was it just something simple or something complex? Was there a pattern?
Too many questions for this fight.
The other's response to her massive blade wasn't a surprise, they were barely able to dodge the damn thing and the use of the Kismet blessing just at the right time made the Knight grunt and shift gripping her side as she could feel her stamina drain again. This fight was weighing heavily on her it felt.
There was a moment where she considered what the other had done so far, what she was capable of doing... She was picking the right junction that much was certain. But she was making a huge mistake if she thought that K was going to just sit there and let her do what she wanted.
She could distinctly feel a fourth ache somewhere on her right arm, but with the pain she had from the arm already it was sort of muted. It wasn't a surprise to her that the other digimon had something like this, some digimon were the slow burn type while others were a massive bonefire. What was Jesmon again?
"Jormungand's Fang!"
The Knight spun her sword around and with a massive but somewhat ponderous pair of swings.... A pair of equally as massive waves of energy launched out from her sword, causing the blades that were gathered around her already moved to behind the giant knight. The energy wasn't the fastest and the distance between the two of them was an indication of their strength as their forms didn't waiver at all. Even if they missed the giant energy waves would slam against the barrier protecting the crowd; causing it to shimmer and waiver a bit. While it was guaranteed protection against such a fight, it was still impressive.
The Jesmon would shift slightly and spread her legs out further, she could feel the ache of the few wounds she had quite clearly and was grateful she could keep distance for the moment. She had a clear idea of what she needed to do, but the question was... How to go about it?
Battle Log
Passive Valhalla's Regeneration 'Passive': Each post this Digimon regenerates a medium amount of health. When struck by damage, this healing factor increases to a large amount for three posts and goes on cool down for an equal cool down of whatever move was used on the host. If the move was a once per thread move, a cool down of six posts will be implemented instead.
-Hero's Mantle: While worn this digimon takes less damage than normal. This cloak can be given to other individuals and they are granted the same boon. When removed The host takes damage as normal. For the first post that this cloak is given, the one that is granted this boon cannot be damage in any way but also cannot do anything that would impart damage, status effects or mobility uses. However this effect cannot be given to the host itself as their body is acclimated to the cloak.
Move: Saberk of Time and Space: A blade considered most holy, may strike where the host deigns. It may leap great distances as both travel time and space between doesn't matter. Sight of a target is required to strike. May be used Indefinitely but while in use... Blades of the Faithful can only be used as an Aegis. The damage of Saberk-OTAS is incredibly high when close and loses much power when used to strike at afar.
Jormungand's Fang: To be used in conjunction with Saberk-OTAS, Saberk may launch waves of energy from it's blade. Dealing a great amount of damage from range and may strike multiple targets at once. With each 'wave' Saberk's form diminishes and eventually sputters out forcing the host to summon up it's energies again.
-K has used Jormungand's Fang to attempt a strike at Cion!
Active effect: Blades of The Faithful, Odin's Flock: This attack summons up what could be considered at the most a thousand or so of tiny blades, represented by petals of a blue hue. Without direction these blades do nothing but circle around their host. It can be considered dangerous to touch them without being the host itself as they are sharp beyond belief. This move itself does not have a cool down, but the blades cannot operate outside of a fifty foot radius. Naturally they cannot fill this whole space and are usually spread out to avoid too much trouble.
-These blades are circling around K currently, deigning to do nothing for the meantime.
Enemy Move: -Kismet Blessing has drained a healthy chunk of K's Stamina! -The fourth Etheral javelin has struck home! [4 Lodged]
Cool Downs: -Valhalla's Regeneration [1/1] -Valhalla's Coridor [2/2]

"Empyreal Intervention!" Cion bellowed as a counteroffensive to K and her impressively powerful wave of energy she launched at her. To call it a deluge was likely an understatement, for it managed to catch the attention of the cosmic warden unlike the Jesmon's previous abilities, excluding the giant sword she had thrown at her. However, such a demonstration of might was possibly also rather taxing on her opponent's body and stamina, meaning that she could not keep this push up forever. The same was of course the case for the incandescent fennec's defense, but she had trust in her skill to protect clashes and exploit its results to her favor.
No matter her plans to obtain victory, the Arniomon first had to triumph over this incoming surge of pure force, which was exactly why she had conjured her means of interference to begin with. As the elysian beast suddenly dashed straight towards the approaching billow, candent radiance followed by several tails of aureate elegancy, an iridescent, semitransparent barrier manifested itself around her incorporeal frame to shield her from imminent harm. Although that did not prevent from another spectacular display of two nearly unsurpassable entities of power wowing the spectators.
Like an aquanaut Cion dove right into the massive tidal bore, her primordial energies interacting with the holy knight's in a violent, unceasing dance. Sparks and bolts whizzed with great speed throughout the arena, striking the ground and walls and tainting them with the color of cinder. The wave itself twisted and turned itself while facing the presence of the Arniomon and her protective measures, definitely giving its best to consume her as intended. Yet she was no someone who submitted to equal sway that easily, and though it demanded extreme efforts, her iron will was eventually rewarded.
With the cerulean 'source arm' tearing through the surge's back surface, the rest of the Arniomon's body abruptly ruptured it as well. Continuing her rapid approach toward K, her golden eyes briefly shifted to her tattered force field, a scraping pain pervading her spine. To the ascendant, her endeavor had felt like swimming inside a pool of electrical mineral water - highly shocking even with her ability to bolster her guard. Looking at the torn floor below her, Cion immediately understood why, for her Garden of Eden had run out of fuel.
Sighing, the fervent warrior accepted her misjudgment and rashness, but decided to continue pursuing her scheme regardless. Ablaze, fierce irises meeting those of the Jesmon, she knew that ceasing her advance now only illustrated her reserve, making her wish to set the titanic knight's nerves on edge in vain. To be in charge of the battlefield, she did not have to show any hesitation in her pursuit lest her adversaries start to believe she lacked self-assuredness. Victory through attrition and intransigence, even it it required to endure damage.
Letting out an adamant war cry, Cion did not pause for a second in her impetus to collide with her temporary rival, but for what reason she of course did not reveal. Aiming her claw at K, another ethereal javelin naturally sought to lacerate her further.

So here Cion was using something to block her ranged attack with. K glanced down at her arm after a moment and let out a small but somewhat irritated huff. They were honestly getting no where with these exchanges; each one of these Javelins that were launched at her just ached constantly. Sending ripples of pain along her body as they tried to gnaw away at her with some energy.
The Jesmon stepped forward as Cion even went so far as to emerge from the other side of that energy wave that she had launched. She had expected the move to miss or be blocked outright. But honestly she couldn't expect a better result from them.
The problem here was these javelins hurt; and they were constantly zapping her. Too many of the damn things and her regeneration or healing abilities wouldn't be able to cope with them. So she did the next best thing. Ignoring the fact that yet another Javelin had hit home; at this point she couldn't dodge them and she somehow doubted her own energy weapon would suffice to cut through them.
"Heart of Jormungand."
Her words rarely held little meaning; little power or little resolve. Ultimately what did these mean for her? Well they meant that the Jesmon would be more powerful for a short amount of time at the cost of being somewhat tired for a good time frame.
For cion? She would see the Jesmon's form become accented with cyan energy for all of a moment. The follow up was a simple swing of her saberk to meet the diminutive Super mega. It took quite a bit to just activate Heart of Jormungand so a simple basic attack was all that she could manage even if it was with the towering blade.
She could feel her arm from earlier start to knit itself back together. The damaged plates of armor shifting back in place. Even small bits of pain from the Ethereal spears that her adversary were launching seemed to lessen a bit. She was ultimately grateful for how potent her form was at maintaining itself but she doubted that she'd win this war of attrition if the other continued to throw these things at her and she was unable to respond somehow....

Although keeping her vigor and focus on the outside as to not display hesitation in her action, to say that K's palpable shift in power did not hector her would have been a lie. The cyan aura that covered parts of her body... Cion believed that they were unleashed, raw data leaking out of an entity that could barely hold it. Considering what kind of might a Jesmon possessed, it was easy to grasp why this idea was unsettling. But didn't such a release of oneself came at a high cost that showed itself eventually? Certainly, so what did this mean about their fight? Was her adversary getting desperate?
The Arniomon, as she continued to relentlessly dash towards the titanic paladin, naturally did not know the answer, especially since contradictory pieces of evidence portrayed opposite conclusions. On the one hand, it appeared the holy knight's regeneration was accelerated, enabling her wounds and battered armor to partially return to their original state. They still had to twist and turn around the impact point of her ethereal javelins, but it was a noticeable improvement regardless. On the other hand... what was this basic, unimpressive swing supposed to accomplish? Swat her?
Ultimately however, that was just fine by Cion, for if her opponent was incapable of utilizing her maximum strength immediately, then it was her 'duty' to nullify the chance of it ever happening at all. It was almost with a smug grin that the cosmic beast drastically slowed down as to encounter the imminent attack properly. "No you won't!" She bellowed, pushing her source-arm forward toward the incoming, towering blade.
Again, the air around her incandescent paws contorted as if it was torn asunder by unseen yet omnipresent forces. And as the sword's edge was about to hit the vessel of her radiant core, it happened once more. Anoter flash manifested itself in between the two temporary rivals, tearing apart as before in an attempt to engulf the entirety of the gargantuan warrior. The Arniomon halted, watching calmly as the warp in space-time did its magic - the paladin's arms pushing away from her, legs squeezed into the ground, a neck pulled skyward, and a chest convulsing as if ravaged by a pack of starving wolves...
... or not if the Jesmon evaded Cion's efforts and another javelin. In the end it did not matter - both outcomes were in the vulpine sentinel's favor.
Battle Log:

All considering this battle seemed to be one of attrition; one that was a gentle tug and pull in each direction even with the massive strength displayed from either side in various ways. K wasn't very surprised when the other slowed down as to counter her timely swing towards the other. What was she going to do? Some kind of shield again?
Unfortunately she didn't have the time to really react to Cion's masterful use of that strange force from earlier. so of course was she struck by whatever this.. thing was. She felt her body wrench and pull in different directions making the knight grunt in pain.
Her body didn't respond the way she wanted to so of course did that sixth javelin strike home. She was fairly thankful that she had regeneration at this point as it mitigated most of the pain that she was feeling but she could feel her energy starting to wane as the fight dragged on. If she didn't end this sooner rather than later she'd be wheezing on the ground as a renamon in no time.
Even though her body wasn't moving and she was plagued with these Ethereal spears of sorts was she graced with that small boon. If it wasn't for that she likely would have difficulty coping with the sheer amount of damage these Javelins were capable of doing when amassed...

Taking in a deep breath, Cion's narrowed eyes widened ever so slightly upon beholding the result of her previous action. Coming to a midair standstill, she snuffled once as her incorporeal chest moved up and down at a fast rate, glad to have a moment of literal and figurative respite. The aureate star oceans that formed her large tail and neck-pelt swayed gently, as did the incandescent blazes that gave her vessel form. With her golden irises lingering on the Jesmon's warped body, a faint smirk slowly crept onto her muzzle. It had worked - her adversary was at her mercy for a few seconds.
However K was not someone the Arniomon wished to call an enemy she needed to triumph over. Her temporary rival was a delightful entity of honor, respect, intelligence and grace - a digimon worthy of the title 'holy knight' indeed. Their fight was not something she enjoyed compared to bringing the end to a fiendish villain; it was more of a friendly test of each other's mettle while also entertaining the masses. In privat, the cosmic beast was certain there would never arise a reason to turn hostile towards her current opponent, hence inflicting pain on her was not pleasant.
Still, this was a tournament battle to see who was stronger, and the titanic paladin had fulfilled its vow to not hold back, so she had to do the same as to not taint both combatants pride. "Nothing personal, just part of the match." Cion uttered with audible reluctance yet sincerity as well in her voice. Hopefully, the Jesmon would not hold a grudge against her for trying to achieve victory; despite not truly caring for it. But considering with how much maturity K had carried herself thus far, she doubted that their future relationship was at risk. Besides, there was always the possibility the other had another ace up their sleeves.
Stretching her source-arm and aiming it at her trapped counterpart, again a violent pulse erupted from her ethereal, ice blue talons. Another growling thunder echoed throughout the already devastated arena as thunderbolts of primordial elements sought to impact with the captured warriors like a human taking the full force of a shotgun's projectiles at point-blank range. With the paladin's defenses weakened due to the contortion of space-time, the expected level of damage imposed on her was grave. Adding an extra javelin was not becoming this time.

K grunted and shifted in the 'stasis' she was privileged to be in. She stared quietly at the Arniomon as they took that deep breath; coming to this strange stand still that allowed the Jesmon a small moment of consideration. Her opponent was tiring as well; that much she could presume. She herself was on the edge constantly from this battle of attrition. Her regeneration being one of the few boons she had.
Icy blue eyes looked over the Arniomon and considered briefly what they would do. Did they have another thing that could deal a higher amount of damage other than that thing that hit her earlier? She didn't want to find out honestly; but the few things she had that could fix this.
The violent pulse that emerged from the smaller super mega wasn't easily dodge-able. Even if the thing that was currently holding her wasn't; she would be hard pressed to do so here. The Jesmon let out a snarl of irritation and without really saying anything her cloaked wrapped around her form in entirety.
"Crimson Mantle."
The blast that would of dealt a sheer amount of damage to her was instead reduced to a stinging force. The Jesmon on the other hand was thankfully freed from whatever force that held her. Landing on the ground she'd stare quietly at the other Super mega before taking a defensive stance her blades starting to swirl about her in an agitated mess.
"Nothing about tournaments are ever personal unless you let them be. With how we've been acting to one another I would be hard driven to believe that it would be personal."
So here she was throwing another basic slash at the other; she really wished that she would of saved the increase to her damage for something else or later. It worried her slightly that she could feel her regeneration teeter off again; she doubted that she would be around for the next rotation of it. Additionally she could also feel her body suffer from the use of the Heart of Jormungand making her exhale furiously as though she was very tired from this already.
She had a little bit of time left in this form as it was; but honestly she was enjoying herself.

It may provide flight [if the wearer already can fly their movement is increased by one step] and it can block a single attack relevant to the power of the level of the host digimon before implementing a cool down of two posts for the block itself. This mantle may be passed to others but it's effectiveness for others is generally halved.

"Oh? Huh..." Cion let out rather ineloquently, honestly surprised by Jesmon's incredible reaction time. Less than a second after the warp in space-time had ceased, she managed to regain her balance and defend herself against her elemental assault with the help of her heavily coated mantle. The bolts, despite K groaning with exhaustion, merely scorched the crimson cape, leaving the entity wielding it mostly unharmed. This left the Arniomon in a certainly awkward position with that previous statement of hers still lingering inside her consciousness. If she had know that her attack was destined to be blocked, she would not have voiced such unintentionally snotty words.
Thankfully, it appeared that the titanic paladin did not mind her comments since they had carried the impetus of taunt her. Instead, she kept her honorable dignity, visibly enjoying the incompliant clash they were having. And as the two rivals remained calm, gazing into each other's eyes, Cion's signature rapt smile returned to her. Seldom had the ancient sentinel met someone so delightfully mature and courteous, especially not on the battlefield. "Splendid." She responded kindly, looking forward to a hopefully wonderful friendship between them in the near future. But even if not... today was amazing regardless.
Back to the match at hand, the vulpine warden noticed that her aforementioned hypothesis had turned out to be true. With the holy knight's cyan aura fading, so did a large portion of her pent-up endurance. Poor lady - could not even utilize her unleashed power to give everyone a glorious spectacle. Suddenly, the Arniomon felt bad for trapping her in that cage of contorted reality. "I believe our fight is nearing its end." She stated matter-of-factly, feeling the increased rate at which her enshrouded core beat at. It was difficult to imagine how much strain K had to currently endure.
Taking a few seconds to formulate an idea, Cion eventually gasped as she got struck by the big warrior's massive Claymore. It was a mere basic move, ergo akin to being hit by a baseball bat, yet it forced her out of her thoughts nevertheless. Moaning once as she got pushed backwards, she remained midair as she bristled with competitive 'anger'. "A grand finale it is then. A shame I prevented you from utilizing your true potential. Let's see if you can stop me, too." She declared, her winning simper turning into a confident smirk. Still... the Jesmon had earned nothing less than everything she had at her disposal.
...
There was a moment of absolute silence where even the mass of spectators seemed to not utter a single noise much less moved. The clouds gracing the blue sky too lost their velocity, standing in place like mannequins. The Arniomon meanwhile became the center of this tranquility, violently baring her teeth and clenching her fists. Her entire vessel steadily flared up, similar to a sun trying to release a solar flare over a certain duration. Gold and Incandescence shifted into white, becoming blindingly bright and ferine in their movement.
Finally, Cion swiftly pushed her limbs outwards, her whole form tearing apart almost instantly, sparks of stars and radiance fading into nothingness. Left behind was something that could barely be described as a digimon; it was more of an untainted entity. Although the same in stature, texture and details had entirely ceased to be, instead replaced by a simple matrix surrounded by veins and nerves of while, slightly iridescent binary code. Her eyes and mouth were but beacons of bedazzling light and her unique features were gone, too. It was as if beholding a digimon digivolve yet nothing changed, leaving a creature that was... pure.
Heavy breaths echoed throughout the arena as the ascendant slowly moved one of her paws, pointing an ethereal talon at K. Without a single motion necessary, the javelin's lodged inside her armor and body flamed up as well, harming the Jesmon with increased ferocity. As the forces of light inflicted pain, the released energies accumulated into faint nebulas that tethered the two combatants together, allowing what remained of Cion in this higher state of being to feed off the damaged data. As to be expected, this link was vampiric in nature, restoring her health at the cost of the paladin's.
And with each second that went by, her incorporeal vessel pulsated; starting slow but like an agitated heart becoming faster. It was obvious that the Arniomon was not holding back, not even the slightest, wishing to push K to the edge of her abilities and beyond. And the clock was steadily ticking away her time left.

K quirked her head just a little bit however when the other seemed to be somewhat surprised at the reaction time that the super mega had. In reality it would of been just natural to defend yourself as quickly as you could and the Jesmon herself lucked out after all. The digimon spun her sword around again and again mulling over what she could do at this junction.
Her endurance was reaching it's peak; her energy was strained and she couldn't really tell how deep into their energy pool the other was. However when the other spoke about how they believed that the fight was nearing it's end made the knight hesitate a bit. She was sore; she was tired; these javelins were constantly smarting.
She wasn't really expecting the other to just merely accept being hit by that massive claymore either. Perhaps her reaction times weren't as high as she thought or perhaps they were both tiring to the point where it was a mere push away from victory.
The Jesmon closed her eyes for a moment and exhaled slowly; she had nothing to say to the idea of this being a grand finale. Her true potential?
Her true potential?
So what was her reaction to Cion's flare; the sun that was across from her releasing such power such a blinding light? Well certainly it had her attention; the strange simple form that they kept; only intensified the silence in the area. No words would do it justice; no descriptor would do it better than just simply 'pure'. The Jesmon pulled as much energy as she could inwards grunting in abject pain as she felt the javelins lodged within her inflict pain unmatched by many strikes she had endured beforehand.
The pain and damage was high; the destruction of her body even more so. She could feel the fibers twist and tear; her healed limb fell limply by her side but she ignored the very idea that it was for naught. She instead just continued to pull the energy from her form pulling it more and more to her center.
She wouldn't be able to do much to heal what the other had done to her with the blades that they had at hand. The Jesmon instead kept them swirling around her in agitation. Eventually the saberk itself sputtered out as the jesmon too pulled from it.
It looked like she was winding up for something big..

A stubborn piece of work, but with an impressive pain threshold and stamina. As the ascendant looked down upon the titanic warrior, many thoughts that echoed throughout her freed mind, all of which were centered on her opponent. Although their clash was likely reaching its climax and end in due time, it had been a tremendous pleasure and honor to encounter such a noble, respectable and good-natured soul. Even more than this battle and the banter they had during it did she look forward to a deep friendship with her in the future. Maybe joining efforts, inviting her to PROFIT, or just dinner together - every idea was appealing.
Whatever fate had in store for their relationship and lack their of, the transcended Arniomon was confident that the world and its people were in good hands with K as a sentinel; if she was interested in this role. Being a paragon in all of its meanings appeared to suit the proud paladin perfectly, yet that was sometimes not that path feasible heroes wanted to take. Owen the Gaomon and Brad the Bearmon were exemplary for this fact - reincarnated former wardens of justice and prosperity desiring simpler lives as adventurers and innkeepers.
However, the vulpine deity would definitely try to find out what her current rival's ambitions and, if necessary, would try to convince her of a higher cause. But first the valiant knight had to masters the might of her true potential, no matter the situation or odds. That was one of the reasons why, indifferent towards K's reactions and actions, Cion was willing to unleash every bit of power she had at her disposal. If the Jesmon truly intended to give it everything she got as stated, then the time had come to turn her words into deeds.
After several moments of inflicting pain upon her adversary and feeding off of it, the incorporeal vessel of the pure entity began to pulsate violently - almost like a heart that was about to collapse. With a final bellow, the glaringly radiant beast bellowed a final war cry, its warped yet celestial voice echoing throughout the deadly silent, crammed arena.
Turning from a figurative white dwarf to a literal one, Cion released an incandescent supernova that rapidly expanded in all directions, incinerating even the pavement that marked their battleground. A smoldering, inescapable wall of white fire crept closer to the paladin, threatening it to consume her alongside the center of the Colosseum. Silence was replaced by the ear-deafening cacophony of blast waves and flames cracking and sizzling as they ravened any piece of matter in their way, eagerly desiring to claim the main dish that was the Jesmon.
And in the center was the silhouette of the primordial creature responsible for this devastation, screaming inaudibly as it too pushed itself to the edge of its limits and beyond.

K stared at Cion for the duration of her charge, feeling a natural tug of a frown spreading across her plated lips. This fight had proven to her that she still had room to grow, still had time to grow and still had people that could match her or outpace her. It meant to her that she would have to continually improve on what she had in order to make herself more effective overall.
Perhaps inspecting her own attacks; understanding them and making adjustments for how long they took to wind up or what they did in effect? This would after all be the second time she took on this form?
She felt the energy building within her reach a crescendo when Cion's bellow drew her full attention. Not like they already didn't have it as they were dueling but any side thoughts were quickly and firmly pushed to the side. The warped celestial voice echoing throughout the arena. For one such as this; someone who kept to her silence kept to her word that this fight would be golden the Jesmon inhaled and took an aggressive stance.
The sudden change in scenery that was Cion's 'white dwarf' was met with a stoic gaze and a surprising amount of grit as the Jesmon leaped forward at a blinding speed. She felt her energy racing throughout her body; burning at her muscles, burning at her armor. Burning at the edges of her mind. She met the blast wave, flames and the bubbling sensation of her armor stripping away at the sheer power this move had.
There was no roar, no scream no powerful sound that the Jesmon gave to the other. Only silence; it wouldn't be fitting otherwise. She'd push through the pain; the gentle caress of it that threatened to make her sleep and threatened to push her into a threshold she wasn't sure she could handle.
She pushed herself further into this blast, to the center where she was met with the silhouette of the create she was fighting. Drawing back her less injured arm she'd swing it forward in a deadly arc looking to hit the Arniomon head on. She felt each tick and each moment of the pain as it struggled to overwhelm her. Even if she missed, even if her own attack suffered a soft but subtle failure she was content knowing that she gave it her all.
After the swing she felt her knees buckle, her body crumbling and the light of digivolution took her. She landed on the arena's floor in a heap a hand coming to her head as she toppled over. She felt the grace of consciousness leave her and the Jesmon now renamon sat still on the ground muzzle pointed at the sky...

And as the Jesmon brought her massive edge upon the small, ethereal silhouette of the incandescent ascendant, dead silence enshrouded the whole arena, if not Terminus in its entirety, as blindingly white radiance lingered ever present. Emptiness echoed in its monotone cacophony, drumming noises barely a whisper to the trained ear. Only slowly did the void of the impact of the two apex digimons fade to reveal the beauty of the natural world once more. It was a battered, scarred place, concrete blocks torn asunder, ground and grass scorched, and clouds twisting around the battlefield as if consumed by a vortex.
On one side among the rubble and debris lay the unconscious Renamon, vanquished yet clearly content and proud for she had been pushed towards the horizons of her potential and beyond. On the other, her body gently leaning against a pile of stones and cement, was Cion, still in her pinnacle form though almost equally as beaten. Unlike her rival however, she was better attuned to her truly ultimate state of being, and she had suffered far less damage throughout their concluded clash. The Arniomon, no longer eradiating the fervor of a sun, too was filled with earned pride, for she had fought with equal passion as her temporary adversary.
To fathom that, despite her stature, she had this kind of power within her, was without doubt a great gratification to her. A sentinel with the might of triumphing over even the most vile of fiends while protecting the innocent and feckless... what a wonderful thought that granted her peace of mind and confidence. That... and the fact that in an actual fight to the death, she would have won in similar finales such as the one both combatants had endured. A single snap of her fingers, and her injured vessel would have returned to its pristine health.
But... Cion purposefully refused to do this very act for a multitude of reasons. The first was of course that this tournament was, as mentioned before, not of true concern to her. The vulpine warrior did mind neither victory nor defeat, but an enjoyable competition to see what possible future guardians of all that was good were out there yet to be molded into a constructive role. Not that she wished to manipulate others into what she saw best, but a little nudge in the right direction never hurt.
All other reasons were in regards to K herself. The primordial fox had no intention of humiliating her, for the paladin was someone of admirable goodwill, grace and willpower. Treating her like an untaught juvenile was utterly unbecoming, especially since Cion wished to be the Renamon's friend, not her teacher. Perhaps it was dishonest to not punish her former opponent's recklessness, but there was a time and a place for ice-cold, unrelenting verity. A struggle among, hopefully, future companions was not fitting.
Hence it was upon those witnessing their battle to decide who had displayed better prowess and cunning - a decision surely pretty difficult to make. And whatever it was, the tiny member of PROFIT had gotten what she desired either way.

Judgement:
A very well fought battle on both sides. Cion held her own against K's onslaught for the most part, and launched some very impressive counter-attacks in return. Meanwhile K upheld the initiative for most of the battle, landing direct attacks while limiting damage she received in return. However, while both combatants fell at the same time, the judgement is as follows.
Cion's strategy was to play defensively, while K's was to launch an onslaught strong enough to break through. And so, while K upheld the initiative long enough to break through Cion's defenses, while Cion was unable to fully fight off K's attacks, that means that K is the winner of this match.
Since it came to an effective tie, both combatants get 1500 bits each.
