The beast had already forgotten about her.
Oh, how little that mattered now. As the Dokugumon made its way back to the web, presumably to hide from the rest of the forest during the dangerous night, he would feel a 'flicker', something off as a warmth built up inside of him. On a whole, this wasn't unfamiliar, and what was a Renamon going to do to him?
... That wasn't it. Just a moment later, the spider squealed, writhing in pain as his form betrayed him. He hissed, giving a panicked thrash, not even knowing that the Viximon was the source of this pain! Eventually, it would become too much, the spider about to burst from within...
... And as that blade pierced right through his back, well, there would be little recourse. A pained and stunned expression entered all of its feral eyes as the spider split in half, leaving K to step out of those remains... remains that quickly evaporated to data around her.
Mega form or not, though, K's condition might have still been dire. How long could she keep this up - and could her weaker forms keep it together when the rush of adrenaline wore off?

The MetalGarurumon looked around slowly at her surroundings and then down to herself. Inspecting her body for a few moments before moving out of the remains of the Dokugumon. The creature that had been her horrid mentor in a manner of Perspective, a creature that had shown her something without even meaning to.
It had shown her she needed to change more and more, to help those that she wanted to. She would of left it be; she would of left it to it's own devices ultimately but it decided to strike her of all things. Was her drive worth a life of another?
What was the worth of this world she desired to protect?
The world she desired to protect.
The digimon didn't have very long to ponder as her form flickered and shifted back to renamon. The form barely being able to hold together with everything the Dokugumon had done. The renamon was left gasping softly as the wounds from earlier still hadn't healed and she was faced with a horrid realization.
She wouldn't be strong enough to fight off anything if it found her, if another of these creatures were out there she wouldn't be able to do anything to them. She would just end up in the belly of another beast. She clenched her hands and stared at the data that quickly evaporated.
A sullen look emerged and the Renamon shifted planting her hand against the remains as they withered into nothingness. Drawing the information and data back to her.
"...Become more than you are. Do more than what you would. Go for the things you want."
Her expression darkened dramatically as she thought of this ironic fate and an argument she had made to mikemon that this went against everything that she stood for.
But what did she truly stand for?
Your first steps are the hardest ones. We have much to do my dear child...
She would never of done this back in the inn, she would never of done this to the one she fought in the Dark area had she won. But here she was doing this now; rending data of another to fix herself. To pull more from what had come.
I will become a protector of this world. And whoever you are will help me.
My dear, haven't you learned? Voices of three we may be, but this is the only voice that matter. I am no one but yourself Love.

Indeed, K would have been in dire straits, left alone: poisoned, weakened, and even trailing data, she would have been a heavy mark for anyone else to easily pluck her from where she stood - and it was doubtful she could reach that burst of strength again.
Left on her own, anyway. The Dokugumon's data magnetized to a radiant blue, quickly being pulled into the Renamon's form. Like it or not, K needed this, most of the data slipping right back into that abused side. First, her frame would be patched, deep wounds mending and muscle shifting back into place. Beneath the white fur were two unsightly purple scars, reminders of the fiercest fangs where the Dokugumon had bit her. The rest of the data went to replenishing her energy, literally pulling back what was stolen to its rightful place.
Little strength would have been gained from this data, but K would have learned the truth of the wild: take hold of the enemy to survive. By the rule of the forest, there was little difference in what the Renamon did to the spider than what the Dokugumon tried to do to the fox: no moral code. Just a predator and a prey.
Regardless of her thoughts on it, though, K would once more be centered, the data completely revitalizing her condition. Heck: she might have felt just a touch better than when she first entered the forest.

It was painful to do this, but in all rights she needed to.
She felt the data start to pull to her, watching it dispassionately turn into that radiant blue she had seen or felt earlier being pulled into her form. She hated the fact she had to do this; but she had to accept that she was in no condition to leave and was in dire need of change.
She felt her frame start to patch itself up, the deep wounds mending and the muscles shifting back in. It would illicit a small sigh and she'd close her eyes as the warmth of her body quickly returned. A hand came down to where the dokugumon had bit her. She could feel those marks and likely would have that in this form for the rest of her days until she died.
She felt her energy go back to how it was, she could feel the abundance of energy revitalize herself and she'd slowly exhale out. She'd gaze around the location for a moment as she realized the cold truth of this place. The rules of the forest she had entered. With a frown she'd gaze down at her hands still drawing in the data bit by bit till none remained.
I could do this too. I could be what they were, a predator easily. But it'd be wrong.
Of course Love, you are meant for greater things.
She felt centered, she felt revitalized. She leaned back for a moment to stare upwards to the sky a quick frown spreading onto her face. If she was forced into this sort of situation again she would have to respond immediately, if she was the helpless party she would change that.
I'm feeling even better than I was before.
You took a life, took their data. Why wouldn't you feel better. Perhaps when a fight like this occurs again you'll do it again. If they're a threat to the world they shouldn't be allowed to be in it.
That sounds too heavy for me to carry.
Don't fret love, when the time comes again you'll make the right choice. Child or not.
She'd clench her hands and slowly let herself consider this particular rule this particular mandate she would follow if a fight truly went like this in the future.
....Very well.
That's my girl.
The renamon let the light of the digivolution touch her again, spread among her form and shift to shutmon. The digimon was strong enough to warrant caution among others but also something seemed off about the digimon. Her pressure had changed; had actually come into being.
Now I think I have something I can teach you...
