The soft crunching of snow and gentle wind that was gracing the location only made the stark white renamon pause. This mountain range was a lot more than she intially suspected; as she had only really been here once recently she couldn't really put it in experience how well she knew this place. She'd frown slightly and shift a bit; this was the land of her conception. In fact if she remembered right it was in these mountains that she found her first thoughts from.
"Sometimes breathtaking, sometimes a problem. But there's nothing quite like the frozen north."
Unlike most of her species the renamon was graced with thicker fur; perhaps it was because of her northern 'birth' as it was. But it certainly helped her against the frozen tundra and it's counterparts that lay around it. She'd reach down and gently brush some snow aside, looking somewhat content with being here.
Most certainly the reason for going through these mountains in the first place was to get her closer to where she had called her home for a month or so. She realistically could of just taken her super mega form and been there in an instant. But one of the members that had dealt with the spire that had controlled her insisted on escorting her this way. It behooved her to listen to them, to allow them this. It would give them a sense of closure would it not? She'd tut softly and stand up a little straighter gazing back towards them.
"I'm unsure why you wanted to go this way, isn't this more round about? Or has the digital world changed so much I barely remember my old home?"
She almost seemed sad at the idea of her having no idea what her homeland was like; what the place itself gave to her or the world in general. She wasn't even aware of those really living here even though she desired to help as many as she could. Perhaps it was for this reason that she was gifted, or granted this individual to help her through this mountain range. To find out more of herself and perhaps get some steam out.
It doesn't help I'm still a little tired from that entire spire issue... Eugh. If I wasn't in the midst of the key mantra I'd likely pass out for a week.

Iko didn't mind the North, but it was for a different reason than most. To him, the air was remarkably dry, and breathtaking views often obscured the sheer danger that lied around every corner. Most who made it up here couldn't even appreciate the vast landscape, as the weather could very quickly turn for the worst. Thankfully, though, the forecast was in the favor of this group's travel.
At the Renamon's remark, Luke gave a chuckle. He kept to the back, the two more adept Digimon more able to correct their footing if something slipped beneath them. "You seem quite fond of it. Guess you don't get cold that easy, huh?"
"Even if she did, she could just do what I'm doing." Iko briefly raised his right hand, a small amount of black fire crackling around his hand. He had quite enough practice after their travel up the mountain to make it just right, a nice pocket of heat to insulate the group from the elements without making it searingly unpleasant. Like this, they were making quite a good pace - though the fox's question raised an ear from the wolf.
"Come again? This is the same path the workers use." Iko's response was deadpan, and a bit surprised - though the Renamon would soon discover why. Back in her time, just around the bend, was a sheer and impassible cliff, leading to a rocky crag below. But as Iko would lead the corner, and as K would follow, she'd see something completely different:
A staircase. A metal industrial staircase, whose hole-filled texture made it impossible to lose traction, leading right down the side of the cliff. At the bottom was not a rocky pit of death, but a smoothed out path of stone. The perch of the lower cliff had a metal guardrail and coin-operated binoculars, to look off into the vast expanse beyond. On the same level was a building, with a bright lantern at the top, and a small amount of chimney smoke carrying into the air.
"You never pass by here?" Luke gave a curious question as the three started on down. In their trek down the stairs, the wolf tossed another question to the Renamon:
"Your old home, huh? Pardon my language, but do you mind if I ask how 'old' old is?" This path had been here for as long as the wolf could remember, after all!

K glanced at Luke and shook her head. She didn't get cold that easily no, apart from her fur if she wanted she could block out the elements fairly well by wrapping herself up in her cloak. It was quite comfortable all things considered. To some it might seem coarse; but that was only true of her enemies.
"Not really no, my fur is thicker than most of my kind I imagine. I would say.. comfortable perhaps? Fond seems fitting though."
She'd inspect the small black fire crackling around in Iko's hand; she had the ability to conjure flames of course. But she doubted they would be strong enough to really battle the sheer cold around here. She'd mumble softly to herself about it but move on quickly from the subject itself.
However Iko's response to her query only made the renamon pause; along with the physical representation of his answer. A metal industrial staircase; hole filled textures to make it difficult to lose traction as well as help with wind that definitely would be a problem up here. She'd blink owlishly as she had never seen something up here; much less a staircase or building. Her eyes looked it over and she'd firmly shake her head.
"It's been a long time since I've even been in the north properly. I was an Innkeeper in the eastern-timberlands for a much longer time than I called this home."
Their trek down the stairs was quickly followed by a question from the wolf. She'd pause and put her hand firmly on the guard of the staircase; gazing out at the scenery as they walked.
"give or take a thousand odd years since I've actually called this my home properly. The inn was my home for much longer than it. I spent my fledgling years here; so the memories of this place are kinder than most."

Thick, white fur? Huh - in that case, K probably did call this home at some point.
But that 'some point' proved to be quite long ago. As the three made their way down the stairs, the Renamon gave her answer to Iko's question: 'a thousand or so years', so long that she couldn't even remember. The Ankomon's ear gave a flick of interest, whereas Luke's own eyes widened with shock. "A... a thousand years? Do you mean across multiple lives-"
"She doesn't." The wolf gave a look back over his shoulder, across K, to his tamer: "Digimon are more than capable of living that long, rare as it is. We don't age: the only reason we tend to expire is that we're suited for combat." Iko's own tone was a bit tense there, something that he alleviated with a sigh. Still, that alone didn't seem to satisfy his curiosity, not at all. The Renamon's tone made her seem more like a storyteller than someone living in the moment.
But why? As the three finally stepped off of the stairs, Luke gave a nod to the Ankomon: "I'll go in and see if the weather's gonna hold out. We should have enough light to reach the base if it does." But if not, the cabin would be able to provide shelter for the night. Iko nodded, and as Luke walked off, the wolf sighed, turning his attention towards the Renamon:
"You don't have to answer me if you don't want to. But help me out here: what kind of Digimon are you?" Despite the potential rudeness, the wolf honestly seemed quite curious in tone. "Every word you say, you say it like an observer, a thinker. Everything in a passive tense."
That's what he managed to pick up on? "So how'd you end up a Jesmon at all? I know that cloak's not just for show."

The renamon shifted, staring idly at the two of them. She noted the widening of the eyes and the general flick of the ear. She had their attention whether that was her intent or not. She was simply just answering the questions they asked, she had no reason to hide anything from them. The few things that she didn't know she could make guesses on but she'd rather not just sit there and guess. She had enough of that back when she was an innkeeper, back before her entire meditation bit and her training in a sense.
"He's right on that, it's been one single life of mine. I've only expired once due to combat, and through sheer luck I was managed to be pulled back from that brink."
It wasn't very painful to think about anymore, that she had died to something as terrifying as the D-reapers. That she had lost herself to a friend under their control. That she of all people had lost didn't surprise her in the slightest. Life wasn't pleasant sometimes and that much could be said about hers.
She'd shift a bit and stare outwards away from the cabin. She simply dipped her head in a nod as Luke told them what he was going to do. If the weather did hold out they'd likely continue on, if it didn't the cabin would be very nice to stay in. It likely had all the amendities that they needed. When Iko spoke though the renamon turned a little bit.
"What kind of digimon am I... That is a remarkably deep question that I'm not sure I have a proper answer to. Something I never really thought about I suppose."
She'd shift and gaze at the wolf her ears flicking a bit. She wasn't bothered by the questions, she wasn't bothered by the chance of her letting something slip. It was simple for her, it was just another person wanting to know about her in a deeper way than most did.
"Because everything has a point, everything matters. I've lived for a long time being just simply passive. But as it stands currently, My mantra dictates I take things slowly. I think about things, I observe and ultimately understand. Sometimes being active is the worst thing you can do in some situations. It's not a complete answer, but there never is in this sort of life."
She'd scratch her ear staring at the wolf for a few moments before raising her brows. She'd exhale slowly and shake her head; wondering quietly to herself if she should tell them everything. She couldn't just explain out it all could she? Perhaps there would be time for it, but perhaps it wouldn't be that simple.
"Asking the important questions. Feh.. Wished I had met someone like you earlier in my journey. Make me think things through a bit."
She didn't seem too bothered by the idea of explaining, but she was taking her time thinking over what she could say.
"Would you rather the whole story, or simple points? The former we might be here for a while while the latter I can easily continue even whilst walking."

Sheesh - she's even been torn apart once, and she was still kicking? It was becoming harder and harder to believe that this Renamon was, well, real: everything about her just had a different air, from her form to her age to her general way of thought. Still, everyone was a bit strange, right?
Well, K was 'strange' enough that the wolf thought it necessary to ask. And, perhaps as expected, the Renamon responded with her own philosophical tone, something that made the Ankomon give a chuckle. "Honestly, if I asked most, they'd just look at me like I was strange." That aside, she had an interesting response to her passive tone: everything had a point, everything happened for a reason? For a second, it seemed hard to realize that K had even given any sort of answer - though she did call the question 'important'.
Hm. And she even offered a length of her tale. "One second - Luke?"
The tamer opened the door, giving a wave over, crossing his arms in the air: "Weather's fine, but there's been a landslide. By the time they clear it out, it'll be too dark." Huh - ordinarily that'd be disappointing, but at that, Iko gave a chuckle:
"Fate's making a fool of me again? Fine, let's go with the long version." To that, he offered an addition: "You tell me yours, I'll tell you mine."

With all things considered she had been through a lot, done a lot and had seen a lot. She had traveled in both worlds, fought quite a few different people and even done somethings she wasn't very proud of. But it had been in the name of her survival hadn't it? It was something immensely important to her, there was a few moments of pause and she'd shift to keep her gaze down towards the mountain range.
"If you'd ask most, you'd get an exasperated sound at best. Followed by anger I imagine. Strange look being the tamest thing you can really expect no?"
She'd nod her head and flick her ear as Iko told her to basically wait. Then luke exited the door and declared that the weather was fine but there had been a landslide. It was odd that they had such a twist in things considering the length of time it'd take to clear one of those. She'd exhale softly and shake her head; everything had a reason for happening. So of course this mixed with her offer to give the story to Iko was simple; something somewhere wanted her to share this.
"Fate. An interesting system to believe in, but I'd be foolish to say if I didn't believe in a little bit of that."
She'd turn her head and look towards the cabin mulling over the idea of speaking there. Perhaps if the others wanted to move there she would consider it; but for now she was comfortable enough to where she could do this out here.
"That is only fair I suppose."
The renamon shifted her gaze back to down the mountainside; she was feeling quite cheerful in comparison to how she normally had. Perhaps it was the vigor of being in the land of her conception.
"Most digimon start off their lives, birthed of a pair of parents. I was no such product of a union between mons in the normal fashion. Well over a thousand years ago, a trio of digimon came into conflict. A Jesmon, an Examon and Gracenovamon. The two former were Knights, their titles long recinded by now of course and the third was a force powerful enough to bind them together with it. Now I don't know how long they were in this state, but the three cores were forced into a loop with one another. Their data warping and looping time and time again. Eventually out here in the Frozen wastes I was born. Now these three cores were jumbled together in a mess of data within me for a very long time, and would only shift in nature when I digivolved. But my past wasn't filled to the brink with fights and such as you'd expect. Instead I set up an inn, had a town birthed around it. You might wonder why this matters, but that is precisely the reason why I'm in this era to begin with."
She'd let out a small sigh and lean on the railings, her tail flicking idly.
"I had nothing driving me, nothing making me go and do things. But I had these three powerful cores that made up my being, so of course eventually I'd be forced to wander. Partake in the world a bit. Which I did. Any questions thus far?"
She didn't bother turning to look at the wolf for a few long moments, she was rather fascinated with the scenery. She had never managed to get up this high when she was a young mon after all...

Oh yeah, K got that right, enough for the wolf to return a chuckle. "Its either the simplest or most difficult question in the world. No in-between, really, and way too personal for most to answer." That said, why ask it in the first place? That was simple - K seemed like the type who would answer.
And with that landslide below, there really wasn't an excuse. Hearing just a bit of that conversation, Luke thought it better to leave the two Digimon at it, simply giving a wave as he returned back to the cabin. And so, after one comment about fate (one that Iko briefly tensed his fangs at), K started her story. It was an interesting one at that: she was the product of three cores, a vessel created by two knights to restrain the dark force of GraceNovamon. Eventually this Renamon came into being - likely unaware of her condition - and set out into the world.
With his arms crossed on the railings, the wolf gave a blink, looking briefly to the Renamon as she explained. After settling down in an inn for so long, she set out to see the world. It was a bit confusing at points, but the wolf could basically follow. Still:
"Hm. Most 'partner' Digimon aren't born in the typical way either," Iko shrugged. "Assigned to a Digivice, we're either reincarnated near them instead of Primary Village, or we simply 'come into being' when the device is found by a tamer. You'll only very rarely find an Aato that remembers anything about family." Iko wasn't an exception to this rule, of course.
As for actual questions? "Its difficult to imagine a working consciousness without a core, but I at least understand it so far. Continue; more should fall into place down the line, I think."

The renamon shifted and glanced back at the other digimon; there was a curious look on her face for a moment but she'd simply nod at what he said. There was no in between that much was true. What was the answer to it however? She contemplated this for a few moments before frowning deeply. She didn't have a good answer for it still and it was kind of bothering her.
"You are definitely correct. But to answer the question..."
There was a distinct pause and the renamon considered it once more. What type of digimon was she? The answer was simple and profound.
"I am exactly what you said. A digimon. I was made without a purpose in mind so therefore I must find my own. A key without a lock, a door, or ring."
She'd turn her head slightly when the other digimon spoke. Most partner digimon aren't born in the typical way? More information that she wasn't aware of. She figured that most of them were assigned to their tamer from the village when a request or something came through. It all made sense though and she'd dip her head in a nod when he asked her to continue.
"My travels continued, taking me far and wide throughout the world. Eventually I found myself desiring home, I had grown without noticing. Understanding; but it still wasn't enough. When I returned to my inn something happened before it could re-open properly with me there. A door to my third floor warped me to the human world, not only did I find myself at odds. I found myself needing help, and a situation where the first link in my chains broke. First is was leomon to help a tamer out with a problem. But then later on it was memory that sparked the next digivolution. No doubt my favorite form that of a shutmon."
She'd sigh softly remembering the migrane that had followed with it.
"It was painful remembering my 'life' that I apparently led. Which made little sense to me. I traveled the human city for a little bit more; allowing myself to help with a group known as AEGIS which I now serve as a Digimon liaison to. Once they had everything they needed from me I came back to the digital world, desiring to return home. But I ended up adventuring around a bit more, dealing with spires. Dealing with troubles. I believe I met the pair of you earlier in my ventures back before my change."
She'd sigh softly and rub her muzzle gently tapping the railing.
"You see as I said earlier each digivolution broke a chain holding this loop together. It was weakened by the transformation into leomon-x and Shutmon. But the thing that weakened it even further was my transformation into CresGarurumon upon finding that my inn had been burned to the ground along with the town there."
Another sigh followed suit and she'd lean over the railing, looking at the drop but not really bothered by the height. Even if she fell she'd naturally just fly back up. It was times like this she wondered why she wasted time; but she realized ultimately that it was part of her journey after all.
"I broke as a person then, broke completely. Had to piece myself back together through all the rage. But it was Mikemon who eventually came to the town that managed to convince me to come to whitewater so he could take a look at me."
K would scratch her ear and frown a bit. How could she really think of him at a time like this? But she was getting to her point realistically. He wanted to know ultimately how she came to be a Jesmon and this tale wasn't about to be an easy one...

Hm...
As the story continued, Iko definitely found the trail, step by step, hard to follow, but he understood the gist of it. She'd evolved a few times in her journey, first to Leomon then to Shutmon. Each step triggered a deeper and deeper part of 'her' memory - "But could you really even call it your own thought?" - but eventually, she'd make her way back to her inn, her town... only to find it in ruin. It was there that she found her mega form, a CresGarurumon.
Touching on the inn was definitely a rough point for her, but it seemed that she had managed to compose herself since then. She'd ran into Mikemon of all people, and went all the way out to Whitewater - the same place she mentioned meditating.
"As it stands so far," Iko blinked, "The forms, well, they don't seem in line to your current condition. Every form you've taken up to that point is in the 'Nature' or 'Mechanical' Beast family - both lines a Renamon is capable of reaching on her own volition." That much was true, but it was also clear that there was more to it. Of course, it was the Mikemon:
"The one with the crystal?" Iko seemed familiar, at least. "He's a data seer, so I take it he was the one who first told you about your unique condition, and the rules behind it. Still, never really took that little demon as an 'active' type." He sighed, mulling the thought over in his head.
"How'd you stabilize?"

The question that was posed to her only served to stop the renamon from continuing immediately. She'd shake her head slowly tapping the side of it after a few moments. It hurt thinking about the inn and everything that had led to that point, but honestly? She couldn't get hung up on such matters if she wanted to continue growing. It was a sad part of her life; it brought far too much to her that she didn't want to think about... Or rather things she really didn't need to think about. What if's didn't matter to her here, it was what happened realistically.
"No. No I can not. It's a fevered dream if anything. Semblances of what were, what I could of been at the time."
K tilted her head a little bit and drummed her fingers on the railing. He was right on the money when it came to that; her forms did not match with her current condition as well as having them match up with one another. As renamon were from nature and of course digimon got more complicated as their digivolutions progressed.
"A mere prelude to destruction I'd say. The forms seem in line with themselves at the time. Which is more than enough if you think about it really. They still fit within a certain artform, a certain brush stroke of life if you will."
She'd nod her head when the other inquired about the mikemon. He had a crystal that much was certain; but what it meant to them didn't much matter. Perhaps he'd tell them what it meant, perhaps he wouldn't. It wasn't in her place to tell them what he had been or would be in the future.
"Yes. The one with the Red Crystal. He was the first to tell me, what occured and even converesed with the GraceNovamon. He's not so much active as having a doctor's clinic in whitewater. Which is where I Decided to make my home."
Then came the next question, how did she stabilize? The renamon shifted and felt her tail swish back and forth rather moodily. She'd chuckle dryly and lay her head on the railing, looking somewhat content.
"I didn't stabilize immediately, we had to do some looking to find a core of super mega tier to feed to one of the three. We were able to procure such a core, he was able to work it into a blank core after some time. I on the other hand still needed to pick which mon to go with. Examon, GraceNovamon or Jesmon. I settled on Jesmon and would of fed it to him had I..."
There was a pause in her breath and the renamon shifted a bit. Pulling the neck of her cloak aside to show the wolf what lay there. The scar was still nasty, the tooth holes that the D-reaper Reppamon had made when it broke her neck still rather shockingly vibrant.
"...Not died. I fought something known as the D-reaper in the dark area and paid for it dearly. It digitized me and before it could absorb me, Jesmon whisked me away with some teleportation ability it has. The same one you saw me use in battle. Mind you it can teleport freely when combat isn't a factor. Jesmon spent a few days stitching me back together before managing to get me to go to whitewater. From there we were able to plant the blank core. Unfinished mind you, into me after gracenovamon had broken out and left."
There was a pause and she'd turn her head to look at him.
"It wasn't instant, but the stabilization process has been largely successful over the last month or so. Through meditation and such as my jesmon core slowly links together our three cores properly. Once it's finished the two not blank cores will slowly bleed into the blank one creating a new one for me purely of my own data as it's likely to slowly rewrite all the data it comes into. So in short, I'm still stabilizing."
She'd sigh a bit and gently let herself sink against the railing.
"I don't know how much progress he made while we were under the control of the tower though. Thankfully my mantra wasn't interrupted."

Indeed - at least back then, she was sharing the thoughts and dreams of three other cores. Whatever memory she had might have belonged to one of them, or it might have never been real - just a mixture in the miasma of her unstable consciousness. Her data must have been somewhat of a mess to examine back then - but just how did K reach this form, where she was able to attain something as pristine as Jesmon's form?
She'd give her answer: the fox had a 'blank' core implanted. The wolf blinked, wondering exactly how this was possible, before giving a quick sigh. "Damn cat's just plain crazy, sometimes." But it wasn't even as simple as the fox made it out to be: the mortal wound at her neck left a vicious scar, one that the wolf could even make through the fur that had grown back. The culprit? The D-Reaper. She'd only barely managed to survive - literally by divine intervention - and the core's implantation was forced.
Which brought her, more or less, to now: the fox had started to meditate and focus, at least in part to stabilize that data inside of her. After a moment of silence, the wolf took a deep breath. "... I've heard about that D-Reaper incident as well. And none of it makes a lick of sense to me." His tone suggested that he had more to say, the Ankomon taking a few steps away to pluck a sizeable rock off the ground.
"The D-Reaper's been blamed for quite a bit lately, but I don't know how that could be it. Its not as if its something that can be eliminated - in fact, it exists in the very essence of the Digital World. Just... take a look, I guess." The Ankomon held the rock in his palm, facing it up, turning it once over in his hand as if to prove it was an ordinary stone. He then took a deep breath, focusing. In the next moment, the rock was surrounded by a dark flame... followed by a bright pulse of light, dispelling the dark shadows.
In rapid succession, he repeated this: dark and light energy, cascading and overpowering each-other over and over, washing completely over the stone in his hand. It took about fifteen or twenty repetitions, but eventually, the wolf gave a 'wince', as if something stung. The 'display' ended, and the wolf turned the rock once over.
Like a deep burn in that rough stone, the fox would be able to observe that familiar red mass. The amount was small, but red lines were burnt right into the etched stone.
"You can heal, right? Here." Iko pulled a fresh stone, and if allowed, would drop it in the Renamon's hands. "You don't need to put a lot of power into it. Just switch between 'healing' and 'fire' data over and over. The same thing should happen."

The renamon chuckled lightly and shifted on the railing, glancing at the wolf as she had shown off her scar. There wasn't much of a response to it and thankfully he didn't have much to say on that particular physical matter. Though his comment on how mikemon was plain crazy made her pause. Had he tried other things other times? She'd lean just a little bit and gesture at the wolf.
"Sounds like you're talking from experience. Thus far he's been doing quite a stellar job for just a single patient of his."
However when he started talking about the D-reaper incident the renamon felt herself tensing up just a bit. How would it make any sense any way you explained it? It wasn't something easily explained as she also wasn't even sure what the point of the D-reapers normally was.
"I don't really know how to explain it properly, but that's what it's been hailed as. I don't really know very much about them past what I've encountered."
K would watch the wolf; raising a brow when she noted him picking up a sizable rock off of the ground. Then he started to explain what he could. If it wasn't something that could be eliminated they were in trouble. It would be a difficult fight if the opponent wasn't one that simply could be taken out by conventional means.
"Well I suppose it'd come from somewhere..."
She'd watch what the wolf was doing with the rock. It wasn't something she understood; but as he continued her interest only seemed to increase. She'd shift and come closer to the wolf upon his completion. There was a moment where she stared rather tensely at the red mass. Though when it didn't do anything she visibly relaxed. She could still feel the burning sensation in her chest and that deep cut in her leg.
"Yes I can heal, along with a small bit of fire..."
She'd gingerly catch the rock in one hand, inspecting it for a moment before doing as she was told. Though it'd take a little longer for her to do it as she wasn't at the same level as the wolf was currently. She'd visibly flinch and feel her chest tighten a bit when she felt that familiar stinging sensation. She'd shift the rock to her other hand and gingerly shake the hand that had been 'stung'.
"That's definitely the same sensation I felt when I was blasted apart by that weird floating thing. A bunch of this was on my chest and in my right leg when I tried something stupid against that reppamon."
She'd raise her brow a little bit and look up at the wolf.
"I don't understand."

Well, the cat definitely saw his work through, that much was certain. The fact that K was still standing was probably as a result of his efforts.
But the conversation would move swiftly along, with Iko's example and demonstration. If the wolf had just explained it from the beginning, there may have been some doubt or confusion - but now both the Ankomon and the Renamon were holding real examples of 'created' D-Reaper, and the method for doing so was quite simple. "In this amount, of course," the wolf's palm blazed with a fierce black flame, eradicating the rock into a cloud of red data, "The D-Reaper is nothing more than a stinging lichen. By definition, its not even something that 'lives', really."
But what was it? The Renamon's bewildered expression and half-understanding were worn right on her face.
"To be clear, what you did wasn't 'generate the D-Reaper'. All you did was corrupt a small part of the rock's data by repeatedly inflicting it with differing elements of energy. The D-Reaper," Iko nodded, "Is nothing more than the Digital World's attempt to remove corrupt data from the Digital World."
As another example, Iko passed his palm over the rock K held, and burned away the red mass. The fox would be able to see afterwards that wherever the red data had taken over had simply vanished, leaving a steep 'groove' left in the stone. "It takes a few forms. Lichen as you see here; silver, sharp blades of 'grass' jutting from the ground, and even a few more unsettling plants. They sprout where Mega and Super Mega Digimon fight, where space itself can be distorted in the collision. Its always existed, but until now?"
He shrugged. "Well, I'll pose it to you. What would cause this entity to stop functioning like it should in a specific part of the Digital World? Its quite obvious the effects aren't worldwide..."

The renamon would quietly stare at the red lichen, she could still feel that burning sensation in her chest. On her neck and in her hip; it was making it hard to concentrate for a moment but the sudden repetition of her mantra brought the renamon out of her 'stupor' and with a hand to her head she'd exhale softly. She still wasn't over that was she?
"Feh... In small amounts most things aren't harmful."
She'd continue to inspect the rock; frowning slightly. She'd note that the other had destroyed their rock. Was that the safe thing to do? Would that create problems? She doubted it.
However upon the wolf's explanation the renamon shifted a little bit looking somewhat paler than usual. So the D-reapers handled corruption of the digital world? Well corrupt data rather. What would happen however if it was corrupted? What would it do if there was a large enough source of corruption that it dictated a response like in the dark area?
She watched the wolf burn away the red mass; there was a moment where she considered dropping the rock but she simply turned it over a few times frowning all the while.
"The forms I saw it take were a floating creature, capable of launching bombs and a mimicked reppamon. It's possible that it overtook the latter of the two. Your examples of forms make sense in normalcy; everything functioning as it should and how it should. Super mega's fighting to cause such a small response isn't too surprising either..."
She'd rub her muzzle and find herself frowning again. What would cause this entity to stop? There were a few answers she could give and she didn't like any of them. But she needed this; she needed to understand more.
"If it's dealing with corrupt data all the time, it's possible that a form of it has become corrupt or... Perhaps a large enough corrupted entity dictated an intense response. Which would make it react so poorly to something. Perhaps both? What if someone did that on purpose though? Corrupting a large enough body of D-reaper, or forcing it to act? Maybe even re-writing it's coding to treat all data as corrupt? There are too many answers and none of them we know are the right ones. It's likely something happened in the Dark-Area to spark this, but to find out that would require going to it..."
The renamon seemed hesitant to go back to the Dark area, but the thing is she wanted answers.
No she needed answers.
