Chie quickly took in the flux of explanations from the bunch, Do seemed to psyche himself up as Chie started to believe this wasn't his first time. She figured better to give him direct instructions he could understand himself while she prepared her digivice on her left wrist. "Do, since you're armor is fire based. You can't do well against the digimon. You're going straight for the spire."
Chie pressed a button on her Digivice as a red glowing egg shaped object with a jagged horn at the top emerged and expanded while the DORUmon was encased in a white light. While the egg broke into eight pieces and slowly hovered over Do, his body lengthened as his arms expanded and moved. He moved through several of the red glowing pieces that reshaped into their armament form while Do shaped into a humanoid, his tail getting more sleek than bushy as his ears slicked back. When Do finished forming, the white in his light turned red for a second before a flash. Standing in the DORUmon's place was a purple bodied Fladramon.
He looked to Chie and nodded as he awaited the signal. "Understood, my priorities are set."
Chie tried to avoid eye contact with him as she admitted to herself she found Do very noble as a Fladramon. Standing with his arms crossed, he looked at the spire in the distance as he wanted to destroy it, but better to be smart about it then not. When Carlos gave the signal, he started running towards the spire, careful to be aware of who's near him, giving a verbal signal right before he attempted to burst his speed even more.
"Anyone nearby watch out! This is gonna hurt me as well! Phoenix armor!"
Do angled his head up on a diagonal as he ran, his throat gargling for a few seconds as he spit out gasoline into the air above him as he coated himself with a rain of gasoline. When his body was sufficiently covered he sparked his claws as he lit his body on fire. His speed increased as he made his way to the dark monolith, Chie on the other hand was surprised that one of his moves, was to light himself on fire. His eyes drifted to the Flawizardmon, hoping that he wouldn't be struck too soon, or preferably while Phoenix armor is active. One strike from a fire attack now could be brutal.

OOC: Not sure if this post is the best, but here goes!
"Are you sure you want to do this, Dorothy?" Alice looks to her Digimon, who nods, and immediately heads higher into the air. "Well, I'll be watching from somewhere safe, and if you need me, I'll be there. Just... Be careful, all right?" As her Digimon's first real combat situation, Alice can't help but feel a little bit uncomfortable about letting Dorothy out into danger, but ultimately, Alice lets her, knowing that in order take down this obstacle, everyone must help.
She watches the Tsukaimon glide away over the sand, a small violet critter making a low flight over to a nearby tree and then to another tree, approaching the tower as fast as she can before attempting to leap over to the already ambushed fire wizard, the creepy lunatic dressed in red a little... Cool, in her eyes, but that doesn't matter. More pressing matters are at hand. Dorothy then giggles, wiggling her little legs in the air as if she has a plan.
As Alice observes from a safe distance, she sighs, taking out her notebook and beginning to write down her thoughts with a pen. The emerald haired Tamer's nervousness is apparent, keeping herself distracted from what could go wrong. "...I have so many questions... Too many. It's hard to keep my mind off of all of them." At this point, she can only watch her partner swoop down and attempt to play her part.
Dorothy makes her move as she lands by the FlaWizardmon, and she takes a deep breath before gently spewing out a toxic smog as violet as she is, a choking, horrific smoke hopefully likely to knock anyone off their feet for a bit. Coughing a little after that, Dorothy makes a grin before taking a bit of a hop backwards, not wanting to be too close when the sparks inevitably fly. "Hi, ya big, fire lovin' dork!"
Dorothy has attempted to use use Purple Haze on FlaWizardmon.
Purple Haze: Dorothy breathes out a plume of poisonous smoke with numerous symptoms, including irritation to the lungs and throat, temporary blindness, and weakness, softening up anyone foolish enough to get caught by it. It also works as a good smokescreen for when one needs to flee (Though that sure ain't happening here).
Stuns for 1 turn, blinds for 1 turn after that. Three post cooldown.
Purple Haze is now on waiting period as the effects take place before cooldown.

K didn't have much she could do other than wait for what Dio was going to do. She could do a little bit of prep work herself but honestly other than that... She was somewhat limited to her responses at the moment; it somewhat frustrated her that until she could learn what the FlaWizardmon was capable of fire was not going to be used against him. Well she wouldn't use fire against him at least; she wasn't sure how well the others would fair without one of their moves. Some people relied on them almost exclusively.
The renamon put both of her pointer fingers together for a moment, drew the energy required for her blade to their fingertips... and then slowly dragged her left most hand over her right. Such a thing should be possible right? As long as the blade was equaled out...
A few moments passed as though it didn't seem like anything would happen before her hand and entire forearm were now covered in what seemed to be a shimmering blue energy. Replacing the top most portion of each finger was a half a foot of blade, it was certainly a little out there as for what she was used to. But as it stood she couldn't just use nothing but swords right?
The roar that split through the air was met with an immediate response of the renamon leaping into the air her cloak billowing around her and then almost immediately it's power kicked in allowing the renamon to fly over the dune.
Do of course ran towards the spire and the Renamon figured it was for the best if he went against the structure rather than the FlaWizardmon as from what K could recall from that particular breed of digimon that fire was everything to them. So saying that they couldn't use such a thing against their opponent would of course limit their options.
The renamon flew closer to where the FlaWizardmon was keeping herself at a healthy distance between them and the rest of the party. She rubbed her muzzle and stared at the FlaWizardmon for a few moments as Dorothy made an attack against them. Not wanting to be clustered with them the Renamon lowered herself down to the proper distance and let loose a wave of energy at the FlaWizardmon stemming from the energy blades on her fingertips...
K maintains a healthy distance from the FlaWizardmon and uses saberk to make an attack on them!
RAM UPGRADE - Saberk: Placing her two "pointer" fingers together this digimon draws energy from within and places them at their fingertips. Extending either hand outwards a blade is summoned from the pure energy of the creature. This blade can come in many shapes or sizes. But in the end the power of the blade doesn't change. It may even be two handed or one handed. This blade can shoot out small energy projection from along it's length, usually in an arc following a slash. While the distance of the energy can only reach out to about fifteen feet this allows for a limited use of projectiles from the blade itself. It's certainly strong enough to cut through steel, but anything stronger than that? The blade can shatter.

Popper was caught terribly off guard when Dio roared his signal - the crispy bird gave a yelp and covered his head with his wings and cowered as the other Digimon sprang almost immediately into action. After he realized that no he wasn't getting chomped on right now he was able to slowly crack his eyes open and lower his wings. Two spots of pink managed to appear on his cheeks and he hurriedly dusted himself off. How embarrassing to be caught so off-guard in front of the humans! Especially in front of two young ladies to boot!
"Oh, uhm, I dare say I better be going as well! T-take care!" He hurriedly said before turning and rapidly scrambling his way up the dune and away from the scene of his embarrassment. He'd have to put his best foot forward if he wanted to salvage his image!
Once over the dune the attackers would be faced with a gentle slope down that led to the expanse of sand between the ring of dunes and the dotted ring of clumps of vegetation. Between the vegetation and the remaining water there was another broad circle of sand, and in the middle of the water was the Spire itself.
The group's tactics would work in their favor! The sudden pounce by Dio would completely bowl the guardian over to the ground with a surprised snarl from his lips as well. Down the magic user fell, his head and torso falling into the vegetation while from the dark ring down was left clearly visible on the sand.
The greenery here was turning brown from the lack of water here, and bits of of grass caught fire from Dio's passage. Small embers that almost seemed to rise from their source but were quickly stamped out by feet and paws and smothered with smog. If Dio wasn't careful he might inhale some of the same!
The poisonous smoke would engulf the little corpse of trees at Dorothy's cry and the FlaWizardmon would be caught in his attempt at getting up. The stitched mouth was open and almost his whole body froze with the force of the coughing fit that consumed his attention. Kneeling, as he was, his matchsticks pushed flat against the ground with his body barely braced on them would make a rather easy target for K's attack despite the way he was half in the under bush. Her attacks would strike true against the ring which now showed signs of wear.
FlaWizardmon himself looked almost fine, though the back of his sleeveless tunic showing scorch marks where Dio's fiery move had impacted.
Do would find his attempt only slightly less successful. The Guardian was kept busy enough that his way to the tower seemed clear: just the sand and the water between him and his target. The water would prove to be the tricky part here. It seemed shallow enough at the edges when he first stepped in. Water hissed into steam as it met the flames surrounding his feet. Do's advance forward would find him slogging through deeper and deeper water: first up to his ankles, and then to his knees. Finally it would seemed to have reached its current maximum depth right around his waist.
All around him the water was warming from the heat he gave off, although at the depths there was enough water pushing against him that it wouldn't immediately turn into steam as it had at the very edges of the water. Behind him was a barely visible trail of colors where water and gasoline mixed. Before him stood the one of the oppressive pieces of architecture that had sprung up across the land, a dark blemish on the surroundings.
Behind him on the sand by the shore came the slap-slap-slap of little penguin flippers and then a splash as Popper dunked his head into the water...
..only to come up sputtering from the taste of gasoline instead! Whoops! Good thing all the little penguin had to do was waddle a little further along the bank to get a drink to refresh himself and recharge his internal supplies.
FlaWizardmon is currently stunned for one turn! Flawizardmon will be blinded for the turn after that!
Due to the depth of the water, Do's speed was originally going to be cut but the boost from Phoenix Armor is still active. The attack bonus is also still active.
That water is starting to get nice and warm.

A smug smirk pursed the panther’s lips for a moment as he saw the wizard’s form falling face first to the ground. His attack had been successful!
As gracefully landed just a couple feet away from the enemy, he had to do his best not to let out an evil chuckle. To say he enjoyed the power boost this armor gave him would be putting it mildly. After spending so long being looked down and ignored he was practically overjoyed with this change of events, and he would have possibly mocked the possessed digimon inmediatelly, had he not been too busy rapidly backing away from him, narrowly dodging Dorothy’s smog attack.
Didn’t stop him from giving her a piece of his mind though.
“Tch, be more careful with your aim, you foolish purple rodent!” The feline snarled in annoyance, too focused on keeping an eye on the coughing FlaWizardmon to even shot a glare at the purple digimon. At least her attack had been succesful as well. Dio took a short moment to quickly scan the battlefield, taking in as much information as he could. Glancing for a moment at the tower revealed he wasn’t the only Armor Champion fighting, as it was obvious by the Fladramon attacking the dark structure. Good, this would only tip things in their favor even further.
Regardless, even for someone holding the Digimental of Pride, Dio knew better than to let his smugness cloud his judgment too much, so he knew it was probably better to play it safe for now and stick to the plan. Lunging close to the fallen enemy, the Pantheramon’s claws glowed an ominous red, energy coursing through them before he slashed at the kneeling digimon, aiming to hit the black ring that was around his waist. Regardless of if the attack would be in any way successful or not, Dio then took a quick leap, positioning himself between the FlaWizardmon and the spire, hoping this would dissuade the wizard from attacking Do while he was busy with the tower. Or at the very least it would focus the flaming digimon’s attention to the Dark Lord.
Was this really the best the power of the dark spires could do? If so, then this battle would be over in a matter of minutes.
Dio attempts to attack FlaWizardmon's ring with Vital Claw, before repositioning at a safer distance standing between Flawizardmon and the spire.
Vital Claw: His claws glow red with energy before quickly slashing at the enemy, causing heavy damage. Can also be used to climb otherwise unclimbable terrain.

Do only looked back when he heard the reaction of the penguin, only turning his head slightly enough to get a glimpse of what happened. He felt guilty at seeing the penguin suffering from his ability. "Sorry friend, should've said I was spewing gasoline." Do had no time to focus any further or stop and check. He was on a time crunch and the sooner he could destroy the pillar, the better. However the Flawizardmon was not the only time problem, Do could feel his flesh burn as the pain of the ability set in. Phoenix armor was not indefinite, the fire could only last for a short time. Do needed to get the first strike in before the end of the ability. As he got deeper into the water, he raised his arms to keep them from getting soaked. Better to keep the sources of his fire related abilities dry.
As he finally got within firing distance of the spire, he could feel his time waning thin for the Phoenix armor. He figured it would be best to start out strong. However what he was plotting could very well hurt him as well. Opening his right claw as he gargled his throat, thinking things through in his head."Alright, I only got time to try this once, I can aim no problem under normal situations, but this will really hurt. I'm gonna have to buckle down and put more effort into the ignition."
Do held his right arm so his claws would intercept the ball while his left arm grabbed his right, holding tight as he spat out a gasoline soaked metal ball into his claw and quickly clamped down. Adjusting his arm he aimed the ball towards the tower quickly. It caught fire quickly but Do realized he needed to act quickly. Releasing his claws he summoned a burst of fire, "Burning Cannon!" propelling the flaming iron ball at a fast speed after a large explosion in his arm. Do screamed in pain as he could feel the recoil hit him as if he hit a falling obsidian block. His breathing slowed down as the flames around his body died, leaving him stuck for the moment as his body took a moment to recover as his cannon ball
"That was risky and stupid, here's hoping it dents the damn thing."
Meanwhile in the distance, Chie was next to Alice as she watched her partner digimon run towards the spire, however she got a little nervous as he stopped to prepare something. Do was in the middle of a battlefield, and knowing the few abilities she seen him use thus far in their time together, if he prepares something it means there is a risk. Vaguely familiar with the 'Burning Cannon', she was aware of that it was one of Do's most powerful ranged, and that this new one he displayed shown great risk to his health. Mixing the two was deadly and she thought he wouldn't do both, but he did. Watching the larger than usual explosion, she couldn't help but grip her fist as she wondered if he was really gonna be fine risking himself all alone in a battlefield. "That was pure stupid, he mixed two of his most powerful abilities, the recoil on that is dangerous. Why would he risk that so early on?"
Abilities active/used:
Do ran to be within range of the Control Spire while he still had time with Phoenix armor, however he chose to get an attack in with Burning Cannon. While Phoenix armor boosted the destructive output of Burning Cannon, it also boosted the recoil damage down to himself which Phoenix armor also amplified, making it a danger to use to himself as well as his target.
Phoenix armor: Covers his body with his gasoline saliva and lights himself on fire to gain a temporary boost to speed and fire attacks. Debuffs include damage from the ability, and increased damage to self from enemy attacks. Cannot use fire abilities for one post after worn off.

OOC: Again, not sure if this is the best post.
Dorothy seems determined to fight the wizard despite how strong he is, growling as she watches them cough, feeling proud at making her opponent temporarily disabled and making a prideful pose before readying to attack again, flapping her ear wings to rise into the air somewhat. "Gyahaha, I knew you'd avoid it. C'mon, let''s kick this guy's dumb, dorky behind!" She's got a lot of enthusiasm about this, that's for sure, the little Tsukaimon considering her options in this brief moment before acting on them,
Alice watches from the sidelines with Chie, noticing that she is just as, if not more tense about this rather dangerous situation. "Unfortunately, we can mostly just cheer them on. I'm fairly certain that if we approach, we'll end up with third degree burns at best... I hope Dorothy will be okay... As for your Digimon, I think they want to rush the spire while he can instead of risk another hostile Digimon potentially popping up before he's actually done with it? I'm not sure." As she says this, the little purple Digimon of her own readies another attack.
"C'mon!" Dorothy takes a few steps back, her mind racing as she thinks of what she can possibly do next. Taking a deep breath, she decides to do something a bit odd, perhaps thinking she'll be relatively safe from the fire wizard while he's still blind. She begins to speak, but it's not English, Japanese, or anything anyone can make sense of, a cursed tongue for the evil little creature that she is. Purple light surrounds her as the curse itself manifests, a large circle of symbols slowly forming around her as she concentrates on the bizarre chant, its' effects unknown to all but her intended target, the FlaWizardmon becoming increasingly unsettled by her words, unnaturally so, a minor curse having been placed on him. After the curse takes effect, the little Tsukaimon hops away to the side.
As Alice watches this, her expression only more confused, she briefly speculates just what secrets Dorothy is hiding underneath that bratty exterior.
Dorothy is attempting to use Evil Curse on the fire wizard.
Evil Curse: Perhaps hinting at abilities Dorothy may have in the future, she focuses her mind and chants to create a magic circle around her. Hostile targets around her are afflicted with a minor curse as their emotions go out of control, resulting in a dulled sense of awareness and a heightened state of panic.
Slightly reduces the opponent's offensive and defensive capabilities for 2 turns, softening them up for Dorothy and any allies. Two post cooldown.
Purple Haze stun effect has worn off. Its blindness effect is now on, which will disappear the next turn.

So far so good. Their attacks were hitting home and they had room to work with. The stunned FlaWizardmon took some damage to itself and the ring that it was wearing like a belt. She was a little worried that this was going a little too smoothly though; sometimes this things had multiple guardians or some sort of gimmick to them.
Dio seemed to be a bit bothered by almost getting hit by Dorothy's smog attack and even went so far to berate them for doing so. She'd quirk a brow before flexing her hand which was surrounded by the energy gauntlet that she had summoned.
She just hoped that Do would have the time to work on the tower as they were fighting the guardian. Sometimes these things got really made if you kept whacking these damnable things.
She bounced in the air a little bit, moving to the side so that she wasn't positioned near the other two combatants in their group. The renamon adjusted her gauntlet accordingly and then made another swipe at the FlaWizardmon's ring. The wave of energy likely going to crash down against them if they didn't move quick enough.
Silence was the best tool here; calling out attacks and talking would just make this more difficult for them. So the renamon deigned to keep her mouth firmly shut. They knew the plan, they knew what to do. So what was the point of blathering on?
K continues to maintain a healthy distance from the FlaWizardmon and uses saberk to make an attack on them.
RAM UPGRADE - Saberk: Placing her two "pointer" fingers together this digimon draws energy from within and places them at their fingertips. The FlaWizardmon wasn't quick enough to recover before Dio's attack crashed against the Dark Ring again, it certainly seemed to spur the matchstick wielder into motion. The lanky wizard seemed to collapse forwards for a moment, the partial collapse turning into a roll that took him deeper into the shrubbery and on to his feet. He twirled his matchsticks wildly but a thick purple haze was still shrouding his eyes and effecting his accuracy.
"Ember Field" He rasped as parks began to leap as he struck his matchsticks together. The sparks flew outwards, growing larger until they were sizable pieces of live embers that hit the ground. Again he hit his matchsticks and again more embers sprayed out to cover the area around him until there was a circle of ten feet in diameter around him of the sparks. Those who found themselves on the embers would find them as hot as they looked, capable of mild burns and, apparently, igniting a few cry plants more thoroughly than whatever he had been trying to do before had done.
Still the flaming wizard wasn't enough able to get away from Dorothy's attack. He cringed and halted his spreading of embers to cover where his ears should be. It didn't appear to do him any good, by the time Dorothy's chants had ended his movements were even jerkier than before and there was a wildness to his body language that spoke of barely controlled panic.
K's Saberk would swing true and score another hit on the ring at his side with a sound like a loud scrape. FlaWizardmon jerked his body around to face that direction, bringing up his red matchstick with a practiced twirl and pointing it in that direction with a hoarse cry. Three of the clumps of bush fire would lift from the ground and fling themselves wildly in that direction.
The crackling of the fires was quiet, for now. But smoke was beginning to rise in the air and if left unchecked the remaining fires would spread further.
"Oh it's quite alright!" Popper said as he backstroked across the oasis to join Do. The Penguinmon stopped about seven feet away from Do as the former Dorumon took his shot, the bird's eyes growing wide as the flaming iron sphere crashed loudly against the tower!
"Good shot! Good shot I say." He quickly reorientated himself so he was facing the tower as well and bobbed in the water. "I do say you've really heated things up! I'm afraid my attacks are not quite harmonious with yours, but perhaps the back and forth will give that dreadful thing a bit of a bother? Ice Blast!"
With that the Penguinmon opened his beak as wide as it could go in the direction of the tower, an icy blue light gathering at the back of his mouth. It would shoot forward as a beam of light across the water to smash into the Spire slightly below and to the side of Do's attack. A loud hissing sound could be heard as ice formed from the impact point then rushed outwards towards the heated impact site of Do's earlier attack. A loud crackling sound could be heard, though whether from the Spire or the ice was currently unclear.
Abruptly the FlaWizardmon's head would snap with unerring accuracy in the direction of the tower, the clouds over his eyes beginning to fade. He drew his mouth open in a snarl that stretched the stitches at the sides.
OOC FlaWizardmon moves deeper into the thicket of greenery, granting him an evasive bonus to those attacking from outside FlaWizardmon used Ember Field: Scattering live embers in a 10ft circle around him that are currently dealing light damage to those who step on them. The embers are persisting. The embers created Small Fires! Five pockets of fire on the dried greenery around FlaWizardmon. Three Small Fires were thrown at K's general direction with very sloppy aim.
FlaWizardmon's Blind is ending! FlaWizardmon is suffering from effects of lower Offense & Defense for the next 2 turns!
2/5 Small Fires Remain
1/4 of the smaller, flammable substances in the pocket of greenery has been ignited.

“Yeah, that’s…basically the best we can do know, sadly.” Carlos commented, glancing for a moment at Alice and Chie. Such was the conundrum of being partnered to a digimon. Without you they couldn’t possibly evolve, but other than that there was little else one could do to help them out in these situations, other than trusting they would get out in one piece. Carlos disliked such a hands-off approach to things, but it wasn’t like they could get in there and help either. That would be suicidal. “I’m sure they’ll be fine, though. They’re five against one.” He shrugged, as if trying to reassure them…though frankly he was mostly trying to reassure himself. Dio meanwhile simply rolled his eyes at Dorothy’s enjoyment, but didn’t berate her any more. There were more pressing matters, such as their enemy finally making his move. As the FlaWizardmon finally got back up and started counterattacking, the feline took a jump back, barely avoiding getting his fur singed by the ensuing fire. Ah, finally the wretched wizard deigned himself of attacking the Dark Lord! Took him long enough. Truth be told, Dio almost was happy about that, else this fight would have been too easy for him to really use his armor’s full potential. Perhaps he’d ought to be less glad about having so much fun fighting others and take advantage of his new found power. But he had the Digimental of Pride after all, it would be very unlike him not to enjoy his sudden power boost. He noticed the mind controlled digimon was making his way into the thick greenery, either looking for some cover or planning to burn the whole place down with him. Whatever he planned, Dio was not going to give the wizard any breathing room if at all possible. Without hesitation, he followed after him, trying his best to avoid the embers surrounding him. It was pretty much impossible to approach the wizard without stepping on said embers, so Dio was forced to keep at a distance. Firmly planting his paws on the ground, the armored digimon stared down the wizard, a low growl suddenly growing in intensity into a mighty and loud roar. The force of the roar was enough to make the surrounding area shake, small leaves of greenery swinging wildly as if blown by the sheer power of the panther’s presence. If the wizard came closer he would probably feel his own strength waning a bit too, and the sheer strength behind the roar could possibly cause the fire master to lose its balance once again. And even if that wasn’t the case, Dio would still find himself only getting stronger, the power inside him growing at a similar rate as his ego. The FlaWizardmon could try to ignore him and focus on defending the tower, but considering the sheer amount of energy Pantheramon was exuding, he would be very hard pressed to do so.
Dio follows after FlaWizardmon and uses Roar of Pride.Roar of Pride: Lets out a bellowing, mighty roar that shakes the surrounding area, boosting his attack by 30%, while lowering the defense of any enemies of level Champion or below by 20% within 25 feet. May knock down enemies. Has no effect on Ultimate or higher. Lasts for two posts, three posts cooldown. Do was grateful to have the Penguinmon as backup, but it was a shame he couldn't keep up the whole back and forth fire and ice right now. His arms were trembling as the shock was wearing thin, he could feel his body heating up as he could feel the heat in seep from his body into the water around him. He breathed heavily as he knew if he tried to spark a fire he would risk a lot more then his ability to fight this battle. Still focused on the tower, he couldn't help but listen to the crackling, already preparing his next move. Out of common courtesy, he spoke to his partner for the task. "Popper, what I just did was no ordinary attack. I mixed two things that have no place being with each other. Due to my prior ability, I can't use fire right now, and crossing my second most powerful attack in there really made it worse. I'm gonna get close to see if the tower is cracking enough."
Do ran towards the tower as an odd sound came from each gauntlet, as if he was breaking his own bones. Suddenly the gauntlets started to rotate at increasing speed. As he gotten close to the tower, he noted a spot between the two prior attacks and as his gauntlets picked up an intense speed, he aimed each one to go between the two sites. As he gotten close, he lunged them forward into the spire. "Drill Strike!" Do kept hopeful that the area between the two was getting weaker, but even then, he will take whatever damage he can deal.
"I can either play this safe, or give it all I have quickly. As soon as I can get enough dents, I will use my last resort."
Meanwhile Chie was looking from the distance as she could tell Do was trembling. She knew he never stayed still in the face of danger unless something was wrong. Chie couldn't help but sigh as she hoped that there would still be something to retrieve after Do was done. She kept focused on Do, hoping he would stay safe. Something did however bug her as she spoke with the other tamers. "So, I know Do's excuse, but why aren't any other digimon digivolving normally? A champion would be able to fight that champion no problem."
Abilities used:
Drill strike: Loosening gauntlets, rotating them at high speed to use as a drill for a devastating attack.

"You're right, We have an advantage in numbers, and as long as we prevent things from escalating too much, we should be fine..." Alice then looks to Chie, shrugging. "I don't think Dorothy's strong enough to Digivolve yet, and I don't have one of those... Things you used. I suppose finding one should be top priority later." The green haired woman looks at the small fires being started, and shivers slightly, forcing words out of her mouth, words she doesn't want to say, but rather that she needs to. "Someone also needs to make sure things aren't going to burn to nothing. An oasis isn't an oasis without greenery... But I guess we have more pressing matters.
With her foe attempting to defend himself rather than launch an offensive, Dorothy sees an opportunity to start getting even more aggressive, the little Tsukaimon giving chase and attempting a wild, reckless tackle on the fire wizard's Dark Ring, uncaring of the heat and the burns. Such things didn't matter when this kind of opportunity presented itself, her opponent so weakened that in her reckless, likely wrong but somehow infallible judgement, this was the moment to attack and potentially smash that ring to bits... Though actually doing that in one blow is unlikely. The fires lick at Dorothy's body, and she visibly winces at the burns that are inflicted on her as the flames burn skin. "Gyah! C-C'mon, I'm gonna get'cha!"And as Dorothy slams up against the Dark Ring on the FlaWizardmon, she grunts, bouncing off of it slightly, but completing her attack. "Ya big dork! Setting fire to everything only makes me angrier!" Not exactly a credible threat or anything of the sort, but she doesn't care, the little purple Digimon merely enjoying the act of trash talking her enemies and verbally harassing them, a far from heroic trait.
Dorothy has received minor damage from Ember Field.
Dorothy has attempted to use Fluffy Attack on FlaWizardmon.
Fluffy Attack: A reckless charge into the enemy with very little notable about it. She uses this to hit people when they least expect it. Don't laugh at the name, that only makes you more vulnerable.
Purple Haze is in cooldown period. 1/3
Evil Curse is still in effect for 1 turn before cooldown kicks in.

So what had their attacks done so far? They had for the most part kept the champion tier on the ropes a little bit by stunning him, blinding him and generally attacking him consistently. But even with that being the case the wizard remained strong. In such a face of numbers along with consistent harassment the only thing they could do was continue to fight. His reaction to their attacks was methodical, quick and he did the best he could. It was smart to give himself room and set fire to the locale; but that also meant he'd have less cover to work with as well. She'd furrow her brow and hop back a step or two the wild fling of the fire on the ground only adding to the assumption that using fire would be a bad idea. She'd tut softly and flex her gauntlented hand; ready to close the distance a little more to keep on her ranged attacks. Dio's quick reaction was great; following after them and even roaring at the wizard in such a way that was surprisingly mighty for the level he was at. Then of course Dorothy followed through with a slam attack aimed at the Dark ring; it would be smart to continue fighting in such a fashion of course. However with the attention wrenched from them and to the direction of the tower K was brought to a strange choice. With a huff she'd consider something stupid; she had a card that would give her a little edge in this combat for a short time. There was a small chance that it'd end poorly but this was a gamble she was willing to take. A few moments passed and it would seem as though the renamon was picking something out from her card list. The symbols of her cards flashing before her eyes before settling on one in particular. Thankfully no one would see what she was doing as the ring itself would pop into existence underneath her cloak's large collar effectively hiding it. The renamon's eyes hardened considerably and a nasty growl emerged from her lips before she'd charge downwards aiming a nasty smack to the back of the FlaWizardmon's head with her gauntleted hand. They couldn't afford to have him distracted from this fight. Battle log: -K uses a card! -K uses a basic attack! Active effect: RAM UPGRADE - Saberk: Placing her two "pointer" fingers together this digimon draws energy from within and places them at their fingertips. Card used: DA-21 Card Name: Dark Ring Type: Modify Rank: Bronze Duration: 3 Posts Effect: The target Digimon is struck by a dark ring. Their combat prowess increases, but they also grow far more malicious and cruel.

The panther’s mighty roar did much in the way of throwing the FlaWizardmon off balance. Distracted as he was, the Dark Ring controlled ‘mon wasn’t prepared to dodge or attempt to counter the sound based attack. It wasn’t quiet enough to knock the fire-wielder completely off his feet, but it did send him teetering so severely that even an attack that might otherwise be considered harmless could knock him down. An attack like the Fluffy Tackle Dorothy took pains to connect with. The force threw the wobbling FlaWizardmo off balance and he toppled to the ground. He landed firmly on his rear in the circle of coals that surrounded him, but didn’t stay there for long. With an almost comically widening of his face he leapt to his feet hooting in pain, the back edge of his shirt ablaze. He could be considered thoroughly distracted from the kerfuffle of the demolitions team at the tower proper. So distracted was the FlaWizardmon that once he regained his feet he twirled his matchsticks, again flinging flames. This time he threw the fire from his own backside directly at Dorothy’s face. Luckily for the Tsukaimon the secondary fire would only hurt a little if it hit. The FlaWizardmon didn’t end his motions there. With a flourish he struck his matchsticks together quite forcefully to ignite the tips. With an angry howl the pyromancer rushed Dio, the matchsticks coming up in a series of jabs and smacks as he attempted to lay a beatdown on the sneaky cat that had knocked him off balance twice now. K’s attack would come in the midst of this assault on her partner, one of the blades of her Saberk striking the ring and deflecting off dangerously close to Dio’s head. Not that K herself would likely care. A veil appeared to have fallen across K’s field of vision. Details appeared shrouded, but in return the bodies of the other mons (including her teammates) appeared as if their cores had been marked with a bright smear, not dissimilar to what one would find on a heat map. ‘Attack here!’ The blobs of red would seem to say, her mind pulling images of other red blobs and superimposing them over top. It wouldn’t be impossible for the solo mon to tell friend from foe, but it would require a mighty effort of the mind. (In the background at the very distant edges of her mind K would possibly be able to detect a similar sensation, a familiarity to what she may have experienced in the cold frozen north when her Jesmon form was turned against her. Happily enough the sensation seemed much more muted than the world did, the force that reached towards her held back by the falseness of its own aspect she was borrowing. Such a fragile thing.) At the tower proper things were proceeding with much less excitement now that Do wasn’t attempting to blow himself up (much to Popper’s relief). While the Penguinmon appreciated his attempts he didn’t think that it was worth such a potentially painfuleffort. “Mate, I appreciate we’ve got to get this down quick but is it really reason to harm yourself so much? If they can knock the ring off that poor chap that’s being controlled, won’t this thing be helpless against all of us?” He questioned just before Do attacked the tower. He was attentive while watching as Do’s drills struck at the already weakened structure of the tower and sent more cracks spanning across its surface. Despite the penguin’s doubts he’d follow up as soon as Do was done, leaping up out of the water to strike at the tower repeatedly with his beak. Battle Log - Was used! This FlaWizardmon is and will be a constant problem here. Along with the other individuals that K was having a rough time seeing properly she seemed to be surroudned on all sides by enemies. But if she concentrated hard enough it would be easy to tell none of the attacks were coming her way except from this fellow below her. She could feel that sensation in the back of her mind that reminded her of the time in the frozen north. The renamon paused for a split second and let out a angry somewhat explosive breath of air. Drawing two lines across her face the Renamon added to this breath with words steeped in hatred anda almost seemed downright gutteral. "K-boost!"Following quickly with that the Renamon would make another swipe at the Flawizardmon, even going so far to try to grab his neck with her saberk claden hand. She had an idea that might just work with how pumped up she was feeling... Battle Log: -K uses K-boost-K uses a basic attack! Durations of abilities: -Card: [2/3] -K-boost: [1/3] Active Effect: RAM UPGRADE - Saberk: Placing her two "pointer" fingers together this digimon draws energy from within and places them at their fingertips. In which she cannot use k-boost again until she is back to normal. Card: DA-21 Card Name: Dark Ring Type: Modify Rank: Bronze Duration: 3 Posts Effect: The target Digimon is struck by a dark ring.
