Tsuki listened to Luke's response about Kuyo, nodding. "I used to worry about him all the time but I know how he is, he'll figure his way out of any situations he gets himself into." she'd respond to Luke. Both of them got an answer to Cole's question, it made sense. Soon enough they had gotten to the main path and Tsuki had had a new scent cross her nose...what was about to happen was not gonna be fun for the trio. Suddenly the Elecmon known as Luke called out, Tsuki quickly bounded back and would come to stand next to Cole and Luke as they was a little bit more away from this new threat at it appeared.
Tsuki's and Cole's eyes both went a bit wide in shock as the Digimon came into view, it was smaller then the last one, but that didn't mean much in the World of Digimon--in fact the last one's size and sluggishness is why they got away...but what of this fish like Digimon standing before them now. Cole took a step back as Coelamon spoke, eyes narrowing as he was called out as a human and then told about the distaste held for humans by the Digimon, but he could now feel Luke shaking in his arms and could tell this drew fear from the Elecmon. But...Luke seemed to summon some inner courage, and retorted back to the Coelamon.
Cole's heart was racing, he didn't know what they could do. Luke and the Coelamon begun having a back and forth, it was clear by Luke and Tsuki's reactions they was at a disadvantage here--Cole took another step back. But then when the Coelamon insulted Luke it made the man grit his teeth as anger started welling up in him. But Luke would assure him it'd be alright before leaping from Cole's grip, Cole watching Luke's landing to make sure his leg didn't try to give out on him.
Luke and the Coelamon seemed to go back and forth in a sort of verbal warfare, Cole and Tsuki would listen--the BlackGabumon stepping up to stand a few feet behind and to the right of Luke, there to support any way she could even if she was just a rookie. She was worried for Luke right now, who stared down this Champion tier fish--her feelings reflected in Cole as he stood, basically unable to do anything in this situation. Running didn't seem like an option this time...
Cole and Tsuki's ears burned with Luke's words. 'Fine then. We'll do it your way'...
Tsuki was familiar with what was about to happen, but Cole had only seen it a time or two before. Luke begun to glow as data would begin to change about, reforming the Elecmon into something new, stronger, bigger, something that changed their odds in this. Cole's eyes watched wide as he watched Luke turn into his Champion form...Teslamon!
"...Tesla...mon?" Cole said quietly to himself. He was still getting used to all these new names, but not so new to him at this point. Jade hues took in the new entry into this battle, it looked a lot like Elecmon before, but...almost the height of Cole now--and that arm...well, it was menacing to say the least. Coelamon seemed to take a step back when Luke did this, but weighed his options and seemed to choose to stay and fight. Before Coelamon could begin his attack on Luke--the Teslamon responded, lightning bursting from the red and blue 'mon as he let loose with his Ark Lightning attack.
This hit the Coelamon and seemed to do a fair bit of damage, but it was clear he wasn't done, and was preparing a counter attack. Suddenly Cole heard Luke's warning, he'd go ahead and take a number of steps back, but didn't actually go to cover. Tsuki on the other hand would be standing somewhere in front of Cole but Behind Luke...she looked down. She wanted to help...but she couldn't Digivolve...she wasn't strong enough, maybe she should take over with Cole...But no, she looked up with determination and clearly her mind was made up, she darted forward, joining Luke's side as the Rookie and Champ tier 'mon both stared down Coelamon. Cole in the back was gritting his teeth, wishing he could do something. "Just...be careful you two..." he said, the man unable to help this time...
"If you don't leave we're not giving you another chance, don't do this Coelamon!" Tsuki tried to reason with the Digimon as she stood at the ready, claws forward, eyes focused and determined. She wasn't as strong as Luke, and Luke wasn't as strong as Coelamon...but together, they had a chance.

Reeling from the electric attack, Coelamon immediately considered his options. There was no way in hell that he would let this upstart human-loving rodent to get the better of him. Yet that powerful electric attack had stung all over, conducted by his damp body. He thought about rushing in to aim for a bite, but that may be a bad idea, what with both the lightning and that spear. He could take him out, but it would hurt a lot while doing so.
Luke meanwhile remained standing with his spear held in front of him, pointed directly at the ancient fish digimon. Eye contact remained unbroken. What would Coelamon do next? Luke could also hear that Cole and Tsuki had only backed off a bit. Damn it, they needed to take cover! Otherwise...
"Scalestorm!" Coelamon suddenly snapped, causing the hard, sharp, barnacle like scales on his head to glow, break off, and then fly right at Tsuki! It seemed that Coelamon had identified her as a much easier target than Luke and seemed to be aiming for the weakest link in order to get Luke into action.
"Tsuki! Out the way!" Luke cried. There was too many scales for him to block all together, but he interposed himself all the same, trying to parry some with his spear. Some of the scales harmlessly lodged themselves into his leather armor, but many cut and slashed the Teslamon as he advanced forward. But still, he braved out the assault.
'Being this stupidly brave is Bellamy's thing, Luke, what are you doing?!' he chided himself in his thoughts as he advanced up to Coelamon, who seemed to be quite startled. 'Still, guess that makes me his brother...'
"S-stay back!" Coelamon snapped, but Luke ignored him, readying his spear as he leapt high into the air with his strong legs. Electricity danced onto the tip of his spear as he aimed downward.
"Thunder Lance!" Luke shouted as he descended, aiming for a gap between Coelamon's scales. If he could land this hit, it would likely be all over. But, at the last moment, Coelamon shifted a little, meaning Luke's spear struck the hard armor in its stead. But it was still electrified, causing Coelamon to scream again and lash about violently. Luke tried to pull his spear out, but it was stuck fast in the armor. And to make matters worse, he could barely keep his footing on Coelamon's slimy body.
All of a sudden, Coelamon's tail came whipping round and knocked him off, sending him crashing off the path, badly bruised and small amounts of data rising from his wounds. Luke panted. This was really too much to deal with without his brother and partner here. But he had to stay strong! Just a bit longer and they'd be here... wouldn't they?

Tsuki stood her ground beside Luke, the BlackGabumon's eyes focused harshly on the ancient fish Digimon in front of them. It seemed reasoning with it was out of the question, now it was down to just an all out battle. This was confirmed when another technique flew, the Coelamon calling out his attack and releasing an array of sharp scales in Tsuki's direction--focusing on taking out what he knew was the weak link in this battle of Champions.
Tsuki was in the process of reacting when her ears burned with Luke's words, eyes opening wide when she seen the red blur that was Teslamon shifting in the way, his large spear blocking some, a couple harmlessly stuck to his armor--but another set had hit the 'mon hard. Tsuki's eyes nearly watered as she witnessed Luke take the hit for her--but she had no time too, some had made it past. She quickly swat two of the three flying at her down with her claws, but one glanced the BlackGabumon's arm, causing her to wince as it cut her.
"Luke be careful!" she pleaded but the Teslamon had his mind set on this, the seemingly timid and less bold of the twins partnered with Colin let his inner bravery shine, charging forward. Cole had to make a step back--two of these scales nearly hit him, lodging in the ground near his feet after having missed both targets.
Tsuki and Cole both witnessed Luke leap into the air, his Thunder Lance attack sparking to life as he came down hard on Coelamon, just barely missing the chink in the fish's scales. It seemed Luke was stuck, but not for long, as the Teslamon was slammed by Coelamon's tail and sent crashing off the path. Luke wasn't faring well, Tsuki used her impressive speed and agility to run up and stand between the downed Luke and the Coelamon. She'd charge up fire within her jaw, before launching it at the fish. "Azure Fire!" echoed as she shot this fireball of blue flames.
It seemed today would be the day two less confident 'mon showed their bravery, as right after this was launched Tsuki charged at Coelamon, leaping into the air and drawing her paw back, claws freezing over as she lunged at the fish Digimon. slashing with these frozen claws. "Frost Cutter!" would echo as she did this. If this was successful the hard and sharp claws would hopfully attempt to damage the hard scales of the fish, as well as freeze the area she makes contact with. During all this Cole could only watch, guilt welling in him as he felt useless...

It seemed that Tsuki was determined to stay in the battle with him. Heh, Luke kind of admired that. Maybe it was Bellamy's data inside him that made him feel that way? Or... was this his own feelings? That it wasn't right for good digimon to back down from bullies.
As Luke struggled to his feet, climbing out of the reeds at the side of the path, he realized how serious the situation was. He weighed up his options - while his spear was still lodged in Coelamon's scales, he still had his powerful lightning attacks, but he was struggling to stand upright. One more attack should lay the point across, and the spear lodged in Coelamon was clearly causing him distress.
Tsuki then rushed at him, not only using her Azure Fire but following up with a melee attack. Of course the rookie level strikes did very little damage to the armored champion other than enough to annoy him. In response to this, Coelamon turned to face her, preparing a Water Bullet attack. Luke couldn't let this happen.
Once more he set off his Ark Lightning attack, knowing it would probably be his last before his champion form fell, but, it was his only option at the time. Coelamon snarled at him, having quite enough. The giant fish lunged toward him, jaws opened wide, looking like he was about to bite Luke's head off.
Except he didn't.
Coelamon stopped dead just short of Luke, since there was a new digimon standing between them. This one resembled a seven foot tall human - only there were monstrous things about him. Dressed in a gangster hat, longcoat, pinstripe suit, gloves and shoes, he seemed like something out of a mob story. While he had long, messy blond hair and green eyes, there was a definite demonic look to him, how his teeth were sharp as he grinned, how the wings on his back moved on their own... how his left eye was glowing with a green aura.
"So, thinkin' of takin' a bite outta my brother were ya, fishface?" he asked, raising his left hand, making it glow with black flames. "Not gonna happen... how 'bout we take a bite outta you instead?"
Coelamon now registered the danger of this new digimon. As did Luke, who gave a breath of relief, falling to one knee in exhaustion. They were safe now.
"N-no... stop... I'll go, I promise" he whimpered, totally pathetic now that a Perfect level had joined in the battle. However, Luke's brother, Bellamy the Astamon disregarded these words.
"Ah, but first, I prefer my fish cooked" he said, then clicked his fingers. "Darklight!"
At once a rush of ebony black flames roared from the hand, engulfing the screaming fish digimon. The power of the flames was intensified by Bellamy's extra edge - seeing Luke in such a bad condition made him angry. The attack was too much for Coelamon. A direct point-blank hit from a Perfect level made his body glow white, and the digimon shrunk several feet. When the light faded, all that remained was a pathetic looking little grey and white digimon. Bellamy's attack had brought him all the way down to In-Training; a Bukamon.
"Not so tough are ya now?" Bellamy sneered down at him. Bukamon trembled with fear. For a moment Luke was a bit worried at what his brother might do, but instead, Bellamy merely poked him with his foot. "Get outta here and have a long think about what you've done here". The Bukamon then zipped away, floating through the reeds and out of sight. Bellamy wasn't about to finish off such a vulnerable digimon.
This had happened not a moment too soon, for Luke had reached the limit of his energy. He too glowed, and shrunk down back to his Elecmon form. He panted as he laid flat on his front on the soft soil. Bellamy saw him, then knelt down.
"You okay, Luke?" Bellamy asked him, then began to glow with midnight blue energy. Luke was about to tell him to stop, to heal Tsuki first, but he couldn't get the words out in time. "Nightingale" Bellamy said, gently, and the energy around him took the form of a bird as dark as the night. It looped around once then swooped onto Luke, at once closing his wounds and mending his damage.
With that done, Bellamy then turned around and noticed the others in the area. A human man and a BlackGabumon. "Hiya, who are you?" the Astamon asked curiously.
"They're friends, Bells..." was all Luke could say for the moment, before he was once again picked up by someone. However, he recognized who it was right away, it was Colin.
"Easy, Luke, we're here now". Colin said, looking curiously at Cole and Tsuki. He'd ask more questions, but, they had to recover a little first and absorb what had just happened.

Both Tsuki's attacks landed, after her frost cutter she'd jumped back, but noticed her attacked failed to do much. This made her eyes fill with doubt, and then fear as the Digimon turned to her, preparing for a close range attack. She didn't think she could get away in time...but she didn't have too--lightning arc'd over and around her, striking the Coelamon, directing its aggro towards the Teslamon known as Luke. Tsuki watched as the Coelamon launched at Luke, aiming to quite literally bite his head off. She froze as it went past her to Luke, fear filled the BlackGabumon...but when her eyes looked, something caught her attention..someone, rather.
Coelamon was stopped dead in his tracks by a tall figure, even taller then Luke or Cole, standing at a stout 7 foot. The demonic mobster Astamon had entered the battle! But was this friend? Foe? Tsuki would get her answer as Bellamy spoke, making the BlackGabumon smile. The tide of battle just shifted beyond heavily in their favor, it seemed backup had arrived in the form of Luke's brother Bellamy--and surely Colin not to far behind.
Cole had barely even seen this Digimon enter the battle, the man blinking, but having a wave of relief wash over him. With a quip Bellamy and the Coelamon had a brief exchange, not ending well for Coelamon...engulfed in the black flames of Bellamy's darklight move, it'd quickly revert the champion back to its in-training form. For a moment it crossed multiple people's minds, would Bellamy continue to dispatch this 'mon fully? But no, with a poke of his foot, he told the small 'mon to get--and that the Bukamon did, flying back into the reeds to run away from the situation.
Finally...this was over.
Tsuki turned her focus on Luke, seeing the Teslamon knelled down out of the fatigue of battle, and quickly reverting back to Elecmon. She'd run over to Luke, knelling beside him on the site opposite the one Bellamy did the same. By this time Cole would also run over, but standing back from the trio of Digimon. Both Cole and Tsuki watched as Bellamy healed Luke's wounds, giving them both a sigh of relief, Tsuki smiling towards the Astamon.
It was no surprise when Bellamy asked who they was, but Luke seemed to answer for them with a 'they're friends'. Tsuki smiled more, nodding to Ballamy. "I'm Tsuki, I'm glad you showed up...you must be Bellamy?" she said warmly to the much taller Digimon. Out of seemingly no where a young teen had ran up and picked Luke up, this must be Colin as he was a human. Tsuki understood the curious look she got, simply smiling back to Colin. "Thank you two for showing up when you did." she'd say.
Cole would sigh in relief, letting himself relax a little now that Colin and Bellamy showed up. After collecting himself he'd look up to Colin, a small smile forming and he'd give the teen a nod. "I assume you're Luke's partner...must be proud having such an awesome guy like Luke by your side." Cole said, praising Luke's actions. Cole would approach closer, and offer his hand to Colin. "I'm Cole." he introduced himself--Tsuki coming to stand beside Cole. Not to not give credit, Cole would turn towards Bellamy and give a thankful nod.

With the crisis of the battle now over, Bellamy and Colin had calmed down enough to figure out what was happening. This other human and BlackGabumon had appeared to come to Luke's assistance here in the Bayou.
The two of them had been absolutely beside themselves with horror as the repulsion trap in the ruins had launched Luke flying hundreds of feet away. Bellamy for one had been scared sick that his brother had met his end in a pit of quicksand and he'd never see him again. While he had landed in a muddy pond, well, thankfully that hadn't happened.
The young human and his Astamon partner listened as Tsuki introduced herself. Bellamy relaxed somewhat, his face turning from concern to his usual state of confident grinning. "Heh, yep, got it in one" he said, dropping all defenses, seeing as he supposed his brother wouldn't have told her his name if he didn't trust her. "Nice to meet ya, Tsuki".
As Colin held his Elecmon partner he gave a nod in acknowledgement of Tsuki's thanks. "It's alright, I'm just glad we got here when we did" he said. "My digivice's radar didn't work very well for a while, I'm not sure why, there seems to be a lot of interference here".
Luke meanwhile was gradually calming down. His digicore's panicking pulses slowed and calmed as a human's heartrate would. Especially now that he was in the arms of his own partner. Colin glanced up at the older man's words, hearing his praise of Luke.
"Yeah, I'm his partner" Colin said. "And... yeah, guess I am proud to have him as my partner". He was honestly a little surprised to hear this. Luke had always seemed like something of a shy individual that rarely stood his neck out. But to hear a stranger speak such praise of him, Colin was beginning to think there was a part of Luke that he didn't yet know about.
Luke, who was simply glad to be reunited with his partner and brother simply relaxed in Colin's grip, glad that things would seem to be alright from here on out. Colin let him relax back as he held him in one arm as he used his other to shake Cole's hand.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Colin James" he answered. Well, now that they were reunited, Colin thought that it was about time that they got out of this swamp. With that, he activated something that resembled an SD chip, inserting it into his digivice. With it, a flash was launched into the sky. Colin had thought that they had had quite enough adventures here in the bayou for now.
"Say, Cole, do you want a lift out of here?" he asked the older tamer. "Just asking, since I've summoned my airship mercenary. It seems like you and Tsuki helped out Luke a lot, that right, Luke?"
The Elecmon simply nodded, not wanting to talk much at the moment.
"Well, I think it's only polite that I offer a favour in return, we can take you out of here and land you anywhere you like" he said. Before long, the airship digimon in question would arrive. It was entirely up to Cole and Tsuki if they accepted.

Tsuki seen Bellamy drop his guard, giving her a smile and more cheerful tone in return now, making her simply smile to the tall Digimon. "Its a pleasure to meet you too Bellamy!" chimed the BlackGabumon to Bellamy. Attention shifted to Colin as he spoke, explaining how his radar hadn't been working well.
It seemed everyone was calming down, the situation had deescalated now, and the satety in numbers felt strong already, it seemed Colin and his partners was strong. Cole wondered if him and his partner...s, will be that strong one day. Cole had only just heard it a bit ago but the idea Tsuki had a twin brother made the man wonder. Either way, he listened to Colin as he spoke to him.
After introducing himself, Colin would do something, Cole was unsure what the teen dd until he told him, offering Cole and Tsuki a lift out of the bayou. He blinked. "Airship, really? Ah...yeah, that'd be kinda nice actually. Its getting kinda late and it'd be nice to return to an inn for the night." Cole said, smiling to Colin. "But really, an airship? How the heck do you have access to something like that?" he asked, a bit dumbfounded how the young teen had access to something to fly around in.

The Astamon variant gave a wink and a toothy grin as Tsuki responded to the pleasantries. It seemed all should be cool, this BlackGabumon seemed alright. Colin meanwhile nodded as Cole accepted his invitation for a ride on Daedalus. Then Cole asked how he had access to such a thing. Colin smiled pleasantly in response. "I hired Daedalus as a mercenary back when I first started in the digital world" he said. "You can do that, some digimon are willing to help out humans in exchange for money, and Daedalus as a Blimpmon was willing to do that. And over our adventures, well, he evolved and grew faster and stronger. And... here he is now".As he spoke, Daedalus appeared overhead. A sleek red and white mechanical digimon in the shape of a dragon airship, 90 feet in length, 30 feet in height, slowly made his descent to allow the passengers below to embark. Eventually, not wanting to risk landing on the boggy ground, the Heliodramon hovered a foot above the surface, lowering his embarkation stairway. "Everything alright down there?" he asked, noting that Colin was carrying Luke, which he knew he wouldn't do normally. "Yeah, nothing too serious" Colin answered. He then offered Cole and Tsuki the way of the stairwell first. "After you" he said. If they ascended the stairs, they would be treated to the view of a luxurius cabin with enough room for them to relax in comfort as the Heliodramon would carry them on their journey.
