Cole would have his hand brushed away, but frankly this only drew a small smile out of the man as she claimed she was no damsel in distress. "Good to know that fire is still in ya'..." he'd comment as he stood up and gave Ravenna her space. What Cole said must've gotten to Nero a bit, there was a good silence that fell over the room. After this moment finally Nero spoke--and he didn't seem pleased. Quick to declare his offer a lie to start with and bring up getting onto the last question. Cole must have struck a nerve.
The room went dark a moment, before the light returned and they no longer felt the weight of 100s of eyes staring at them. Cole would wait, finally hearing their demented 'dungeon master's' voice echo off the walls. Cole didn't flinch, but didn't respond ether upon hearing the last question--the man's hands sliding into the pockets of his jeans as he stood.
Cole listened to Ravenna and Nero's brief back and forth, the girl calling Nero out on the clear attempt to get at Cole's emotions, and Nero's response...the response made the fingers on Cole's hand twitch, but he relaxed...he was done letting Nero play with his emotions...He looked over to Ravenna as she yelled for him to leave Scarlet out of this, but Cole would just calmly speak to her. "He's just trying to rile you up, don't worry about it...he's right anyways--In my carelessness gave them the chance to take it..." Cole would say. The man sighed and turned, feet carrying him to the doors. He stopped at them. "...I've already failed my family before...I probably will again...but not the way you're trying to imply Nero--no...That, I will succeed to do." he said was confidence, hand moving to open the door marked with his name's first initial on it, flinging the door open. But would he be blasted back like Ravenna, or they proceed?

While Nero had tried to get under Cole's skin, playing off the emotions tied to his sister, the Tamer wouldn't give their host the satisfaction of reacting. Ravenna does her best to calm herself, realizing that Nero wants them to react. He even tried to turn them on each other. Cole opens up his door, and it is safe to continue. Ravenna follows into the tunnel.
While walking through the tunnel to the next room, Ravenna doesn't say much or show much emotion. She knows that Nero is capable of reading their feelings to some degree. She's met jerks who try to rile people up before, but nobody like this. Above all else, what keeps Ravenna going forward is her desire to bring this creep to justice.
As they are approaching the door to the next room, a column of smoke rises up in front of the door. Nero reveals himself, violin in hand.
"Congratulations. You have made it past my two doors game. You've got quite the Humans to put up with, Tsuki. I don't know how any Digimon can stand being their servants. Unfortunately, I won't be giving you any guidance from this point on. What you are about to face next is a different kind of challenge than before. I hope you are enjoying your stay."
Ravenna doesn't say anything to Nero. She keeps a straight face and doesn't give in to the temptation to put this oddball in his place. Anything she had to say to him would be mean-spirited, and she didn't want to feed into his mind games. Nero realizes that they are not taking his bait any more. The mysterious violinist smiles and nods at the group before he vanishes into the ground in a cloud of smoke.
"You know, I think we are actually learning something from Nero. I don't know if that is his intention or not. What could the next challenge be?"

The door opened and Cole even braced himself in case it was wrong...but nothing happened, and after a short pause, the man would continue on into the tunnel, his peers seeming to follow behind him, Ravenna had followed and Tsuki would bring up the rear behind her. This tunnel seemed longer then the others, Cole lit a small LED flashlight he had to keep the tunnel lit as they went through it. Finally, a door was in sight, but as they approached smoke would form and shape itself into that of Nero, causing Cole to narrow his eyes in a bit of anger at the mysterious Digimon.
But he'd keep his emotions in check, it seems the trio was beginning to figure out Nero's game. He clearly got a kick out of their reactions, and while Cole and Tsuki didn't exactly know it, Ravenna's spirit had confirmed to her that Nero fed off their emotions...Luckily, neither would let this happen, even as Nero said something to attempt to get under Tsuki's skin. This failed, her simply giving the man a dead stare.
It seemed to be working, as neither of the trio even addressed Nero, it'd make the mysterious Digimon fade from sight, the smoke dissipating. Cole would turn to face Ravenna as she briefly spoke--the man nodded slightly. "Doubt its what he intended...but yeah. As for the next challenge...well..."--with that Cole turned to face the door Nero once stood in front of. He'd sigh and step up, hands gripping the door's handles and pulling them open. Despite the doors being huge within the tunnel itself, what laid on the other side could only be described as a mouse hole...stepping through the doors they'd find themselves in a simple home living room...but blown up about 1000 times bigger, even just a picture frame on the shelf was a tower to them at this scale. "...So this must be what it feels to be Nero--living that low life." Cole would comment on how small they seemed to the size of this living room.
Finally a voice echoed across this massive room, and if their eyes would be sharp enough, the trio could spot DemiDevimon flapping his wings way up high. On a high shelf in the room was another set of doors to a 'Mouse hole' sized opening, and DemiDevimon was by this high shelf. "At the size of a mouse, how do you like our house? A challenge you must pass, a prize up high for you to grasp. These doors lead to your next challenge, but should you fail to manage, you're psyche will be forever damaged. Clock strikes midnight, and its lights out--night night." the DemiDevimon hummed loudly, echoing down below to them. He laughed cinically before flying through the doors--them shutting behind him. Cole had a hard time seeing the DemiDevimon from this distance, but he could make out the flying rat--I mean bat has left. He'd look about, finding a clock...It was already 11:55! They only had five minutes to complete the challenge.
Cole turned to look to Ravenna. His eyes was filled with a bit of concern, not sure if anything could be done. "Ravenna...I know you can fly--this challenge is nothing for you...but I obviously can't and Tsuki can't...what do we do? We only have 5 minutes."

No longer subject to the sorcerer's head games, the trio presses onward more determined than ever. As they enter the next room, they find themselves in a room so large that it's as if they were mice scattering around. Ravenna stares up at a picture frame the size of a tower. The scale in this room was quite overwhelming, Cole makes a quip about Nero living low, and Ravenna chuckles.
DemiDevimon explained the challenge of this room. They had to reach the doors high up on the other side of the room, in only 5 minutes. The fur ball warns the trio of the consequences of failure. Ravenna attempts to put on a bold front. She stands with her chest puffed out and her hands on her hips, though DemiDevimon was probably too far away to see her pouty face.
"You've got a sick sense of humor messing with people like this. We'll clear this challenge no problem."
Ravenna would not struggle at this challenge, as she could Spirit Evolve and fly. However, Cole says that he and Tsuki are not so lucky. The group doesn't know how the two of them are going to make it up there. Ravenna starts thinking of ways they can make it in time.
"What if we start stacking smaller objects? No, we wouldn't have enough time. Are you sure Tsuki can't power up or something and maybe climb up to the doors?"
The clock is ticking. Ravenna takes out her D-Tector and gets ready to Spirit Evolve. She looks around the room to see if there's anything they can climb up. Maybe they can find a rope. While they had made it past the first set of challenges, had they reached their end? Ravenna is worried about Cole and Tsuki.
"At best, I could carry Tsuki up if you can't make it. We could try to find a rope and then you could climb up."

Cole watched as Ravenna puffed herself up, fairly literally, to give DemiDevimon a piece of her mind. But the Digimon had no response, by the time she finished the doors slammed behind the bat-like Digimon. He'd listen to her first suggestion, but it was quickly dismissed--the next question caused the man to look over to Tsuki--and her back at him. Sync'd with each other, they'd let out sighs of disappointment. Tsuki walked over to stand next to Cole, looking to Ravenna. "I have never Digivolved past this stage...At least not in this lifetime...and even if I did I don't know if it'd help any." Tsuki would explain. This Digimon has lived 2 previous lives, where she had been able to go past Rookie stage, but she hasn't in this life cycle...heck the only reason the two knew they was linked together was Cole's D3 could help her shift between Rookie and In-Training whenever they went to the Human world.
Cole sighed and stepped over to the giant towering wall, leaning his back against the lower molding of the wall that was just as tall as him--something usually only 2 or 3 inches tall was a full 6 foot here. He'd cross his arms and shut his eyes, but an almost sad smirk crossed his features. "Heh...guess thats it then...Ravenna if you can get Tsuki up there then please, just go... Don't worry about me and get yourselves out of here. You're stronger then me, I know it seems you and your Spirit don't get along but that Spirit makes you strong...and I don't mean just cause it can make you become a Digimon--because its conditioned you to be strong on your own, independent of the spirit...I know you don't need my help to get out of here...just do me a favor and get Tsuki out too, she's light enough you should be able to carry her if you can become something bigger then the last form I seen..." the man would say, resigning himself to his fate.
Tsuki's eyes widened and she ran up to Cole, gripping onto the bottom of his shirt. "What are you talking about--I'm not leaving here without you!" "Tsuki...there is nothing we can do--and we're running out of time. That rat with wings was vague but whatever happens in about 4 minutes now isn't going to be good..." "What about Scarlet? Huh?! How is she going to get home without you to guide her?!" "She's made it this far...I want to protect my sister...but I can't ignore the fact she can take care of herself...she's strong...heh..." Cole would lift his head to look over to Ravenna. "...You don't look like her any, but your fiery attitude sure reminds me of her." Cole would comment on quietly, eyes shutting afterwords as he leaned his head back, going quiet as he stood there. Tsuki was now crying, starting to shake the man. "I'm not leaving without you Cole!"
Cole had made up his mind...and was while disappointed, content in the face of his fate. Tsuki continued to tug at his shirt but nothing would make the man respond...until something started happening. Tsuki's eyes looked to Cole's pocket--it was glowing! Cole opened his eyes and looked down, seeing the glow. He dug into his pocket and fished out his D3, holding it up. It was glowing brightly, like it had the day it materialized. "..W-what...?"
The D3 activated, sparking to life, the glow died--or rather shifted. Now Tsuki begun to glow with light, Cole watching as she begun to float up into the air--the light forming a ball around her form and growing as it floated slightly back as to not crush Cole against the wall. Finally the ball of light shattered, the pure black and stark white striped fur contrasting, and bright blue hues of Tsuki now larger and more mature. She had Digivolved to BlackGarurumon! Cole stood in awe as he watched Tsuki--who's paws seemed to literally stand on pads of pure light energy, keeping the large Wolf-like Digimon afloat in the air. "...Ts-....Tsuki?" Cole said in shock, gaining a smile and nod from the BlackGarurumon. "It was your act of selflessness Cole...it helped me Digivolve." Tsuki explained, her voice now more womanly then it was before--having been more like a young girl's as BlackGabumon.

It seems as if Cole has accepted his fate. He tells Ravenna to at least get Tsuki to safety. Ravenna just stands there looking gloom. She didn't want to hear Cole giving up all hope. Yet fate seems unavoidable. When Tsuki started to cry, it really made Ravenna emotional. She stands there with her feet close together, looking down. She tightens her hand into a fist and looks up.
"Don't talk like that. It's not over yet. I'm not just going to leave you behind. Maybe if Tsuki and I continue on, we can reach DemiDevimon and undo the punishment."
Cole had mentioned that Ravenna's Psychic Spirit had given her the strength to stand on her own. He also mentions that Raye reminds him of his lost sister. This kind of creeped Ravenna out. Was there really no way to save Cole? Suddenly Cole's Digivice starts to grow. In an impressive display, BlackGabumon Digivolves to BlackGarurumon. The fanged beast has the ability to fly through the air. It was Cole's selflessness that gave Tsuki the energy to Digivolve. Ravenna smiles with delight. She raises her D-Tector out and Spirit Evolves to Psycrowmon.
"Now this is more like it. Let's go!"
Ravenna takes off, flying towards the doors up on the shelf. It really was like a bug flying around a house. Fortunately, there didn't appear to be any enemy Digimon, or large animals to attack them. Ravenna flies towards the doors, reaching the shelf when Cole and Tsuki get there, once they arrive. They had completed the challenge, or at least it seemed to be over. At this point, Ravenna wouldn't put it past their hosts to try and pull something now. Maybe DemiDevimon is less sadistic than the violinist.
"Get ready, flying rat. I'm going to make you pay. BWAHRK!"
The trio is continuing on, and Tsuki even Digivolved to Champion. Did this mean they are well on their way to freedom? What are Nero and DemiDevimon really planning?

Cole was still on shock, but would quickly snap out of it and smile back to Tsuki once Ravenna's 'Thats more like it' crossed his ears. Tsuki would come down and land next to Cole as Ravenna was Spirit Evolving into Psycrowmon--the tall man easily leaping up onto the large Wolf's back and taking a seat just behind her head, legs falling around her neck. "I hope I'm not too heavy for you Tsuki." "Nope not at all, lets go!" the BlackGarurumon howled, taking off 'running' through the air after the flying Ravenna. They'd catch up and the trio kept pace--Cole was almost getting dizzy from the height as they went up, hugging onto Tsuki's neck to keep himself from falling. The room was huge, and they only had 3 minutes left, but it'd only take roughly a minute or so to get to the other side and they'd all land on the shelf--Cole glad to have something solid under him again "T-thats gonna take some getting used too.." the man muttered as he literally fell off of Tsuki, landing flat on his back as the room spun around him...apparently he got vertigo--who knew?
Tsuki tried to hold in a giggle as she watched Cole lay there dizzy, finally the man sitting up and pushing himself up. He stumbled once but found his balance and would start walking towards the large doors the DemiDevimon had left through 3 minutes earlier. Cole smiled over to Ravenna, their victory seemed assured--Cole walking up to the doors and placing his hands to the handles. Givin a tug, they didn't budge...the man pulled harder, the muscles of the well toned man puffing out as he pulled full force--all the way to the point he suddenly slipped--hands releasing and he fell back hard, landing on his rear with a wince. "What the hell?!"
The echo of DemiDevimon cackling would cross everyone's ears, growing louder as the 'mon laughed. Finally he spoke. "Oh, DemiDevimon forgot to mention, I love to see your suspicion. The doors only open with the answer to my riddle, I may play second fiddle but I don't like to just twiddle." the DemiDevimon hummed to a tune it seemed as he spoke, the voice still echoing through their ears. Cole grit his teeth as he stood up, glaring at the door, but taking a breath to calm himself before the riddle came. "I am beautiful, up in the sky. I am magical, yet I cannot fly. To people I bring luck, to some people, riches. The boy at my end does whatever he wishes. What am I? Best keep an eye on that time."
Cole looked at the clock...only one minute! His eyes widened and he quickly got thinking, drawing a blank. He lowered his head as he thought--and at that moment Tsuki would flash in a bright light, returning to her Rookie form and landing on her hands and knees, breathing heavy. "That...takes a lot out of me. I need to rest before that can happen again..." he muttered. Cole sighed and looked to Ravenna. "Do you have any idea?"

Flying alongside the newly Digivolved Tsuki, Ravenna soars across the room with the dark wolf, Apparently the ride was a little too much for Cole. When they reach the shelf, Cole gets down and stumbles a bit. Ravenna chuckles, laughing into her wing. They had about one minute to complete the task, when the doors won't even open? Ravenna is furious at the little winged gremlin. So now they had to answer a riddle?
"Is there no end to your tricks?! How come you can't just fight us on a level playing field? BWAHRK!"
DemiDevimon continues to speak in rhymes. It would have been cute if the circumstances were different. When it's your butt on the line, you didn't care how adorable a rhyming Digimon is. DDmon gives an interesting riddle. Ravenna is usually pretty good with riddles, but she's not quite sure what the answer could be. It seems Cole wasn't having any luck either.
"Something something beautiful, magical, the sky... They don't seem to go together."
Ravenna continues to ponder. She swears she can hear Nero playing the Jeopardy theme on his violin. Something in the sky, something that could bring riches. The clock is ticking, and they would all go mad in the head if they are unable to solve it in time.
"Well what's in the sky? It can't be the sun. Clouds, wait, a rainbow! It's beautiful, and there's a pot of gold at the end, allegedly."
Had Ravenna solved it in time? Their fate had come down to a single riddle.

Cole kept trying to think, but was drawing blanks left and right--Tsuki was still catching her breath and standing back up from the fatigue caused by the first time she Digivolved to Champion. What could it be? Magical...sky but can't fly? It was driving him nuts and time was running out, it wasn't making the situation any better. Cole was very intelligent, but he was a man of course...the answer escaped him.
DemiDevimon was back in the area Nero stayed within the lair, the Digimon looking to the image projected of the trio. He snickered, landing on Nero's shoulder lightly and folding his wings in. "Think they will get it? Or should they forget it?"....did that rhyme? No it was the same word! Bad DemiDevimon~!...Anyways...
Cole looked at the clock--he wished he hadn't. 20 seconds left! He looked at Ravenna, and his heart begun to sink as he didn't think they'd get out of this one. Finally Ravenna spoke up, providing a possible answer...nothing happened and Cole just slowly sat down, eyes full of shock...they failed--the clock struck midnight and a grandfather clock the size of a literal sky scrapper across the room bonged loudly, so loud it actually caused Cole and Tsuki both to cover their ears as it vibrated the trio to their very bones. The lights cut out...just like DemiDevimon warned.
Just when all hope seemed lost, a snicker echoed. DemiDevimon again..."Well well, you did swell little girl." he hummed, and with a loud creek the doors opened by themselves, the light from the room on the other side illuminating the now pitch black over sized living room. Cole hopped up, actually happy for once, giving a bright smile--very rare from the man. "Ravenna you're a genius! I dunno if I'd ever got that answer, I wouldn't have thought of a Rainbow. But it all makes sense now." he said, rushing past her while turning to run backwards to face her--giving a thumbs up. But then he turned around and the confidence would go away...
Now the trio would see a brightly lit room--at least normal sized--and before them was a wall of mirrors, with multiple paths weaving between them...a maze of mirrors. Suddenly DemiDevimon appeared in the mirrors, literally 15 reflections of the Digimon. "So you got through, the next challenge is in front of you. A maze you must pass, but be careful, you may just not last. You're not the only souls within, and those others don't like to grin. May you escape without meeting your fate, you won't have much longer of a wait." the Digimon would echo through the hall of mirrors, and his image would shift with the last words--changing to a reflection of Cole's sister's necklace. Cole gripped his hand into a fist and grit his teeth, but he knew this was just what they wanted...but he couldn't help it. "You bastard..." the man growled, but he'd feel Tsuki's paw come to gently rub his back, trying to calm him...it worked--if only a bit.

Had Ravenna guessed the correct answer in time? She did! They had made it past another one of these daunting challenges. Cole gets excited and praises Ravenna for answering. It's a good thing she was in her Psycrowmon form, as she would have been blushing right now.
"You're flattering me, Cole. Ya, chew on that, DemiDevimon. Brrrrrwwwaarrrww..."
As they enter the next room, the lights come on and reveal a hall of mirrors. DemiDevimon appears many times over, seeming to surround the trio. The fur ball provides some information on this area, and warns them of the dangers within. Ravenna responds with her own rhyme.
"So you say we're not the only souls, I say that's just great. I know it's not you and Nero, you are both full of hate. You are just smoke and mirrors, we made it out of your big room. Your games stink, it appears, we will be your doom. You feed on craziness like a drunkard gets plastered. This maze doesn't faze me, you're a silly little bastard."
The image on the mirrors flashes to an image of Scarlet's necklace. Ravenna could tell that it was getting to Cole. She feels sorry for the Tamer. Ravenna has her own problems with family sometimes, but losing his sister really affected Cole. It had changed the way he lived. Ravenna hadn't told Cole yet, but she wants to help him find his sister, if they can make it out of this bizarre nightmare.
Back at the lair, the two devilish fiends watch from a comfortably safe distance. DemiDevimon flies over and perches on Nero's shoulder. The mysterious violinist grins and sits back in his chair, putting his feet up.
"Good touch on the mirror room. My illusions have become much more powerful since we first started playing together. I can't remember the last time anyone made it this far. Though no one has made it past our playful little house pets in one piece. I wonder if there will be enough energy to harvest afterwards."
Nero speaks into his spooky violin.
"I would be cautious if I was you, weary travelers. It's no fun if you were to die now after getting this far. My magic is beyond your capacity, and I can't keep holding it back forever. Sooner or later, I'm going to start taking this seriously."
Ravenna flies over to Cole and Tsuki, staying close by.
"Let's just stay on guard, and only fight when we have to."

DemiDevimon's grin would turn to a more distasted look as he heard the bird woman basically mock him by rhyming back at the 'mon. But Nero's praise would bring back his mood, the Digimon nodding along with Nero's words. "Our new toys are a lively bunch, to bad our pets may have them for lunch." he chimed as he remained on Nero's shoulder.
Finally the images of he necklace faded, but still one mirror in front of them reflected it, and about this time is when Nero's voice would come with a warning. Cole narrowed his eyes in anger as the voice taunted and threatened them. He would walk up to the last mirror still reflecting the necklace...he'd reach out to touch the surface of the mirror--just for it to fade away. Cole's eyes flashed over with anger and his hand balled to a fist, punching the mirror and shattering it.
He dropped his hand back to his side--still in a fist and now bleeding from the sharp shards of mirror it just went through. Of course behind the mirror was just a wall...guess there was no going straight through them. Cole huffed an angered sigh and looked down, Tsuki simply watching with sad blue hues as Cole once again did something that got himself hurt...why was he so self destructive?! And this time Cas wasn't around to properly tend to his injury. At least Cole had a couple bandages on him.
"...Lets go..." the man said to the two girls, his voice that of a defeated man. But he wasn't defeated, not yet. Cole would move on, entering the maze. Tsuki looked to Ravenna with sorrow in her eyes. It was obvious she couldn't stand to see Cole like this. Cole would try to make his way through it, Tsuki had followed and hopefully so would Ravenna. It was incredibly difficult to navigate, hard to see what was a path or just a reflection, plus every movement they made was reflected back by anywhere from 2 to 6 mirrors at a time.
Cole turned a corner and instantly backed up, throwing his arm up to signal for Tsuki and Ravenna should she be there to stop. He'd whisper--"There is something this way...lets just go back around that last corner and try that way."
He'd get them to back up and go around another corner they passed a moment earlier. The path twisted and turned, but before they knew it...they found an opening! Popping out of it, Cole and Tsuki both looked around to check for any dangers, but they seemed to be clear. Now the room seemed to go on, open, wide, well lit but with a somewhat low ceiling, roughly 12 feet...low when considering Ravenna could fly and Tsuki could become a large wolf with the ability to essentially fly and leap higher then that. At the end of the long corridor was a single door. "Look, an exit. Maybe we did it?" Cole said, pointing out the door roughly a football field away. Best way to describe this as, a football field.
DemiDevimon huffed and puffed a bit, angry he didn't get to see a fight. "Nero Nero I don't like this, they shouldn't have made it this far--somethings amiss. I think they should meet our newest pet, it'd be fun to watch I'd bet. What do you say, shall we send him their way?" he suggested, looking to Nero.
Tsuki would come to stand next to Cole, ears sunk. "...They haven't said anything...I don't like the quiet." she commented...it was true, their...'hosts' for tonight was a chatty bunch, and there had been pure silence since they found the end to the maze...

Nero waits eagerly with anticipation to see if their "pet" would indeed feast on the guests. They continued to taunt Cole with the image of his sister's necklace. To Ravenna's surprise, Cole approaches the mirror, and shatters it with a punch. Psycrowmon flaps her wings rapidly, flying from side to side.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing?! If Nero's controlling these illusions, then he's just trying to get you upset again. Make him powerless. Don't play into his head games. You know he's just doing it to get a rise out of you, so his opinion has no value."
The trio ventures into the labyrinth of mirrors. By moving slow, they are able to avoid detection for now. Cole hears something up ahead and halts until the coast is clear. Ravenna can scout ahead, spying ravenous beasts before they can detect her. At one point, the group is spotted by a terrifying undead mutt. The beast charges towards the trio. They backtrack a bit before taking cover around the corner. Ravenna summons one of her crow allies to lure the beast away. Once it is safe, the group continues on through the maze. Ravenna mostly sticks close to Cole, careful not to get too close to his ears in case she has to squawk.
After making it through the hall of mirrors, they find themselves in a moderately sized room. The ceiling is too low to allow the full use of their flying. On the far side of the room, Nero and DemiDevimon appear on the wall, the violinist with a sh**-eating grin on his face as usual.
"Congratulations again, travelers! You've completed the challenges. There's just one problem, you're not the only guests here. You see, there is another here who is dying to meet you. Either him, or the three of you are allowed to leave. Sort it out with him. Though you will find him to be a tough negotiator."
Nero plays his violin. The room starts to shake. The wall the sadistic duo is appearing on disappears, revealing a small room filled entirely with shadows. All of a sudden, a strange red and black blur shoots out from the room, heading straight towards the trio. An Ultimate Digimon has just entered the room, spinning around at incredible speed.
"Argh, what is that thing? Watch out!"
Would the trio be able to dodge this attack in time? Ravenna attempts to fly away and avoid the attack. It appears this was the final challenge. Nero and his familiar watch from the safety of their lair. It wasn't clear how many Digimon and Humans alike they have lured into their traps. Does anyone know about their operation? Has anyone ever been unfortunate enough to fall into their trap, and make it out alive? How long had these two been playing these games?

Cole thought Tsuki to be right, it was odd there was a silence...but their fears would be answered when across the room they could now see the forms of Nero and DemiDevimon. A voice called out, Nero speaking. Cole couldn't believe this, it never ended...one final challenge would come from them. The room begun to shake and the wall disappeared. Cole could see nothing but darkness beyond it, Tsuki as well trying to make anything out.
Suddenly a blur rushed from the shadows and straight at them. Cole's eyes would widen, but he had no time to take in the incredible speed shown--no, an attack was coming. Cole would jump to the side, barely evading the attack as he landed hard on his side, wincing. If only Tsuki was so lucky, no--she was slammed into by the much stronger Digimon, and it sent her flying. The Digimon slammed into a wall, Cole's eyes filling with fear as he watched Tsuki literally break the wall she was slammed into. The BlackGabumon landed onto the ground after hitting the wall, slumping with her eyes shut. Cole got up and ran as fast as he could, propping Tsuki up. "Tsuki?! Tsuki please respond! Come on you're the best friend I have, I can't loose you too..." Cole said in fear, afraid of what kind of injuries she took. Tsuki would open an eye to look at Cole. "I-I'm fiine..." she mumbled, trying to get up, able too with Cole's help.
Something caught Cole's eye though...He turned, and could see through the newly formed opening within the wall...something was inside of it--and it was glowing. "...Tsuki what...is that?" Cole asked as he looked at it. Tsuki's eyes shot open upon what she seen...the Digimon was rather wise, and she knew what she was looking at. Suddenly the glowing item burst through the crack in the wall, rushing over to Cole, and stopping in front of him, the glow fading to reveal a Digimental. Cole simply looked at it, no idea what he was looking at. Tsuki looked up at him. "C-Cole thats a Digimental!" "Digi...mental?" "It can help me Armor Digivolve, just take it!" the two quickly exchanged. Trusting Tsuki, he'd grab the Digimental out of the air where it hovered, and held it...."Now what?" "Just...turn towards me and say Digi-Armor Energize." Tsuki said as she pushed away from Cole and stood in front of him, facing the tall man.
Cole wasn't sure what he was doing, but he followed Tsuki's orders, facing her while holding the Digimental on both his palms, as if offering it to her. "Ah...ok? Digi-Armor Energize?"...well, it didn't have much enthusiasm behind it, but it'd do the trick. Similar to before, a light would engulf Tsuki--and Data strains rushed around to surround the light, tightening it into the shape of an egg. Cole stepped back as he watched this unfold in front of him, he'd only seen Tsuki do this once before, now again to a new form?! Cole slowly formed a weak smile as the egg grew, before bam...With a literal thunderclap the egg shattered, and standing before Cole, Ravenna, and their enemy, was BlackRaidramon. Lightning arcs in tiny bolts rippling across the body of Tsuki. Cole's weak smile became a full formed one. "Now that is what I call epic Tsuki..." he praised her, the BlackRaidramon nodding her head before turning to Ravenna. "Lets do this!"

The unknown Digimon dashes towards where the group was, throwing Tsuki up against the wall. Cole rushes over to check on his partner, clearly distraught and concerned. However, there was a faint gleam of light in the darkness, literally. Tsuki spies something glowing in the room, a Digimental! It flies over to Cole, and Tsukimon Armor Digivolves to good old thunder fang BlackRaidramon. And what better way to test out this new form than against a tough opponent, with everything on the line?
Ravenna shows concern for the injured Tsuki, then is delighted to see Cole acquire their first Digimental. Ravenna recalls when she found the Psychic Human Spirit. It seems both of them had a difficult time acquiring their respective items. Cole had to endure Nero's mind games, and Ravenna had to star in a play that received a 23% favorable review score. Which one was worse? Tough call.
The figure that appeared from the shadows stops spinning around, revealing himself to be SkullSatamon, an undead Digimon. He has black wings, red bones, and a very powerful staff. There was no sense in delaying the inevitable. Ravenna knows that if they are even going to stand a slim chance against the Ultimate, she's going to have to power up. Psycrowmon starts to glow with violet energy.
"Execute... Spirit Evolution!"
A blinding light surrounds the crow. Suddenly two large black wings appear, as Suzamon reveals herself. She looks a lot like Ravenna, but she is wearing a tight black outfit with violet markings, with chains and black and white spirals on her armor. The feathers around her waist look like a skirt, but much of her thighs are exposed. If it was cut any higher, she would probably have tan lines. Ravenna didn't want Cole to see her in the revealing attire, but considering the circumstances, that wasn't her first priority. Suzamon poses with her arms up and her wings stretched out.
"We've been dealing with your garbage for long enough! I don't care who or what you throw at us, Nero. I will go down fighting if I have to."
SkullSatamon turns his attention to Suzamon. He glares down at her from across the room, laughing to himself. He raises his staff, and a powerful blast of energy is fired from the yellow jewel towards Ravenna. The Spirit User quickly dodges the attack, too preoccupied to counter attack at the moment. SkullSatamon then turns to Tsuki and dashes towards her. The Ultimate attempts to club Tsuki in the head with his staff.
"I must say, DemiDevimon, I'm digging the wardrobe change. Tsuki looks cooler than ever, and Ravenna looks like a gothic magical girl. It almost makes me want to root for them. No matter. I was well aware that having SkullSatamon battle them would be the end of them. Two Digimon, an Armor Champion and a Human Spirit, going up against an Ultimate. It was fun while it lasted."

It seemed the battle was on, and finally they could legit see what they was against. Cole being new to the whole thing had no clue what to call the enemy, but Tsuki knew him as SkullSetamon. Another working for Nero? Or was there something more to this? Either way, now it seemed Ravenna's turn, the young woman shifting her form, becoming something new Cole had yet to see. The man watched as she turned and shifted into her new form, going from essentially a typical Raven to a bird-winged form that looked much more like her human self, with a number of key differences. Cole blinked, and a small band of pink crossed the bridge of his nose as he seen Ravenna's new form in such a...showy outfit. Even in the heat of battle, Tsuki couldn't help but giggle when she noticed this. Well no one could question the man's preferences, thats for sure...First seeing Cas in a dress, and now seeing Ravenna's Suzamon form, Cole was starting to form a habit of getting flustered around attractive females.
But the battle was more important now. Tsuki's eyes shifted over to that of SkullSetamon, about this time it'd send an attack towards Ravenna--then charged straight at Tsuki to go in for a melee attack. Tsuki would meet this with her own retort, charging towards the SkullSetamon charging towards her, the horn upon Tsuki's head beginning to glow with Electrical energy. "Ares's Lance!" echoed the womanly voice--hint strange coming from the monster-like BlackRaidramon, as she charged in--the last second side stepping to avoid the swing of SkullSetamon's staff, while moving to ram her charged up horn into her opponent.
Cole watched on...he felt helpless, he was just a human among all these Digimon...yeah sure Ravenna was human, normally, but even she could become a Digimon too...Cole could do nothing but watch as the two females would enter battle with their Ultimate Tier opponent. The only think he could do...that, and believe in his peers. He wanted to help though! If he couldn't in battle, maybe he could do something else...the man took off running down the football length room, towards the door at the end. This door was simply an opening, nothing stopping him from going through it.
As the battle raged around him he would make his way to this opening, findng a starecase. He'd run up this to see if he could find anything...at the top of the stares was a doorway. This doorway led right to where Nero and DemiDevimon was. DemiDevimon saw this coming, the bat-like Digimon turning to face the doorway from across the room where him and Nero kept. "Nero Nero, look whos about to join us, the zero. He is no use to us, right? Maybe destroying him will bring us delight." DemiDevimon hummed eagerly, waiting for the moment Cole burst in the door. That moment came, the door flung open and hit the wall behind it hard, Cole's eyes meeting that of DemiDevimon, and looking upon Nero. "Its over Nero...your games come to an end now." Cole said, voice stern but surprisingly calm, even if anger was attempting to well up in him.
