OOC: Apologies if this isn't the best thread starter.
Dorothy lets out a long, drawn out sigh, flying next to Alice in the late night environment as the two begin to head home to Alice's apartment. After all, that was where this all started for the green haired woman. In this dark, starless night, Dorothy feels at peace, energetic yet comfortable, happy... Yet something eats away at her just a tiny bit. "Well, we're heading back home... Ain't it boring, though?"
The green haired woman doesn't respond at first, her hands at her sides. "Not really. Didn't I already tell you that sometimes, you just need to settle down and take a break from things?" Her smile is more genuine and confident than before despite what she's been through, or perhaps because of it, the Tamer having fully accepted her new friend and Digimon. Perhaps friend is much more appropriate now, she thinks to herself, the two of them having went though all manner of trials and antics together.
That, and the fact that Shibuya isn't the most pleasant environment to begin with, so company, human or otherwise, is appreciated by the green haired woman. Buildings, while covered in bright signs on occasion, are still somewhat oppressive, their worn out appearance a sign of the surreal, impossible things happening underneath Shibuya's surface. Some would call them wounds. Injuries from a city unable to handle the ripping apart of reality at the seams, a world unlike what most were used to intruding on a regular basis. And in the center of such things are the creatures Alice has become very much accustomed to being around...
To her, Digimon feel almost as familiar as humans now. An awkward feeling, to be sure.
"Alice, ya seem kinda sad." Even her Digimon notices that something is wrong with her Tamer as she looks down at the ground, contemplating her journey. "Even though I'm super excited to be here now, ya know?" She gives the green haired woman a bit of a nudge with her front leg, and does so repeatedly until she looks up. "Hey, listen to me! Something's on your mind, and I wanna know!" It takes a while for Dorothy to get Alice's response, but she does get it.
"It's just what we've been through. Nothing you really need to worry about, just a lot to think about." She looks back up, and plucks Dorothy out of the air in a bit of a hug, gently petting the Tsukaimon's head. "Come on. Let's go home... If only all these buildings didn't look the same." She kicks a can across the alleyway, the sound of it clattering echoing through the dead of night.
A perfect moment for someone to approach.

Lurking with in the shadows, a blonde haired young man in a black hood and some the smariest hair probably in this side of Shibuya slinked about with his hands in his pocket, a D-3 attached to a chain around his belt. He smiled lightly to himself he leaned back into some of the stone wall in one part of the series of alleyways, he idlyingly tossing a 10 yen coin repeatedly up into the air and back down into his palm... patiently waiting for a sign.
Now, what was a handsome young man like him doing out at night? Well, to normies he'd have just said "lookin' for love"... but that was anything but the case. No, he was aiming scratch the itch he had in his most recent hobby... one that leaned towards violence of the most digital kind.
Recent experience has led to the young man lurking around at night, seeking chances for more data for his partner. Night seemed like it was the best time to be doing such out here in the human world, as that's when Digimon seem to really like materializing in their world, or when other tamers were around. It was the best of both worlds... no one around to notice this shady activity, and generally it made it easier for him to find easy targets. Both cases have been fortunately pretty easy pickings for his partner... mainly just Rookie levels or the odd Champion level. Solo Digimon were a lil' easier to handle as at least they didn't have some kid or teen trying to tell him or his partner to not hurt their Digimon, but that was just really stupid on their part. Digimon were kinda born to fight, so what was the point to being a tamer if they just are kept around as some pet or something? They're just a bunch of sentient data, that's it! They didn't even really die... they just turned back to an egg, or into data and go back to the Digital World. Seriously, these brats need to just grow some balls some time and let their Digimon actually duke it out for once... maybe THEN they'd actually have some challenging opponents for once!
He scowled slightly just thinking about it. Things were taking a while though for his partner to get stronger... How long was it gonna take for that damn lizard to be able to hit Ultimate level?! That was supposed to be where the real fun begins! He wasn't taking any chances with going to the Digital World with only a Champion level... a Champion level was NOTHING compared to what he COULD have.
As the man lurked in the darkness of Greater Shibuya, his attention was drawn to the sound of aluminum metal being kicked. At first briefly attributing the sound to like maybe a stray dog or rat, the young man paused briefly as he heard a conversation... his eyes widening as he actually recognized one of the voices. He promptly began to hastily move to the source of the sound... coming from the side at a intersection between alleyways, spotting a woman and her pet.
Of course, he instantly recognized the girl... It was hard to not attribute that beautiful lock of green hair and those curves to anyone else. He grinned at Alice and chuckled to himself, blinking twice in mild disbelief as he raised his hands slightly for a slight shrug. "Well well well, if it ain't my lil' Alice in Wonderland! How ya doin' cinnamon? Remember me? Tetsu? Ya homeslice? C'mon, you remember me, don't ya?" he smoothly (i.e not at all smoothly) greeted his former GF, though his smile did waver slightly as he let out an awkward chuckle. "Ya... uh, ain't still mad at me for uh... ditching ya that one time right?"
For a moment, Tetsu glanced down at the animal that was hanging by Alice... only to realize they weren't an animal at all. No... he very quickly realized they were not ANYTHING of this Earth.
He whistled to himself, his gaze directed towards Dorothy, a contemplative look on his face as he glanced towards Alice. "... So, you got one of those lil' freaks too, huh?"

With a single mention of her name from that confident, slightly smug voice, the emerald haired woman freezes in place with wide, shocked eyes, visibly hesitating to do anything at all for a moment, a puzzled expression coming from Dorothy until a tight squeeze causes her to squeak slightly. And for the first time, she feels Alice in a brief state of fear as she turns to face where the voice is coming from, taking an arm away from Dorothy to immediately run it through her hair, her expression unchanged from the surprised, uncertain one she has now, firmly planting her feet on the ground. "I-Is that... Is that really you? Tetsu... I really wasn't expecting to see you here..." As much as she tries to avoid the subject of what's inevitably going to be brought up, the back of her mind knows that Dorothy is going to be questioned, the Tsukaimon just as aware of this. "But I guess it's good to see someone like you around. A familiar face, so to speak." Alice's words are periodically spoken through clenched teeth, her Digimon unaware as to why, but knowing that it is far from pleasant.
"But please, don't call me that any more. I may forgive you for some things, but not all. I guess we don't need introductions." Alice gently lets go of Dorothy, the purple, ear winged gerbil Digimon flying by Alice's side gently. The green haired woman crosses her arms, her expression her signature one of an almost grumpy, slightly judgemental yet still neutral one, and continues to question the familiar newcomer with her doubtful tone. "Sounds like you already know what's with my little friend. She has a name, call her Dorothy." The dim lights give the already moody reunion a slight edge to it, tension clear in her posture as she relaxes just a slight amount, finding a meeting at this time suspicious regardless of intent.
"Yeah, if you call me a freak, I have every right to call ya a dork!" The purple and gray Digimon grumbles, landing on the cold, dark pavement and standing as tall as she can, the prideful little creature sounding offended. "Whaddaya want from us? Think Alice is cute or somethin'?" She says these words almost mockingly until she realizes the words that came out of Alice's mouth earlier confirm that indeed, at one point, the two were together, but to what extent, she doesn't understand, Dorothy's knowledge of the human world still rather minimal.
The barrage of questions coming from her Digimon causes Alice to speak up once more. "Yes. We were together. For two years, in fact. I still remember the time you made me pay for that dinner, but that's not what makes me angry. I'd admire your persistence if it wasn't so... Sickly." A hand briefly fishes into her pocket, and reaches for her lighter, periodically clicking it on and off in her hand, each time recalling more. "It started off so innocently... But things changed. You changed." Her tone of voice briefly becomes more angry. "Still, I guess it is good to see you. For now, at least. How are things now that you know of... What I've been up to just as much as you have, apparently, given how you know that Dorothy isn't any ordinary creature?"
Something about the meeting doesn't feel right to Alice, the green haired woman only becoming more and more tense, looking up and down the young man for any sign that there is something, anything off about him. "I'm not sure why you'd want to contact me again, aside from another attempt to get me on your side once more... I know you want that, but I don't trust you enough... I feel like you might take some of the things within me... Poorly, for starters, and then there's the whole fact that I used to see you hitting on others even during those two years... Hah, that raises a lot of red flags."
Dorothy doesn't understand a single word of what's going on, save for that these two have met each other before, but then had some sort of falling out. A brief sniff of the air makes it clear to the Tsukaimon that he does have a Digimon... And things might escalate, the little purple, bean shaped rookie tensing up and assuming a bit more of a ready stance. "Were you two in love? Is that why you're talkin' so much?"
"Not now, Dorothy, I'll explain later... So, what are you here for? Some advice on Digimon, or perhaps something else..." Alice bites her lip briefly, stopping herself from saying something she might regret, and hoping for the best rather than the worst. "Something more along the lines of a second chance from me?"

Ouch... Seemed Alice still had a little beef with him. Guess he couldn't blame her... He'd have probably been mildly miffed if she had left him too. Of course, he wouldn't have let her anyway. "Ahhh come on sweetie, I'm a changed man! No need to be too harsh!" he let out a chuckle, forcing a smile as he tossed his arms up in the air slightly in a shrug. "But seriously, nice to see ya again... Kinda has been a while, eh?"
Tetsu could not help but squint slightly at Dorothy, his smile waning at their snark. "Oh good, it has an attitude." he snidely spoke, glaring slightly at the Tsukaimon. Man, why couldn't all Digimon just talk a little less like his partner? Digimon were way less annoying if they just didn't talk... seriously, why couldn't they be more like his own partner? Regardless, no point to hiding that he was in the know. "Yeah, I know all about Digimon. Got my partner riiight here." he ended up commenting as he motioned a hand to his purple D-3 attached to his belt.
He actually mildly flinched at the rather indepth speech from Alice regarding some of his... past with her, alongside his habits. Yeesh, women. They always were really shrewd about this kind of stuff. Tetsu rubbed the back of his head, shrugging at his former ex's comments. "Man, its just me doing guy things. What's the big deal even? Other guys do that stuff too ya know? It's nothin' against ya... I just gotta do my own stuff." he ended up retorting, clearly missing the point of the woman's feelings being taken into account. Given, he's had a number of girlfriends since... but Alice was still a bit special to him.
He ended up regaining his smirk as a bit of an air of confidence came back to him when Alice mentioned Digimon. Advice? How cute... he didn't need any advice, he had all of this under his control. "Ya kiddin' me? I'm a wiz at this stuff! My partner, Darkrizamon is a badass! We been wiping the floor with scrubby Digimon that keep popping around here, and all the tamers we've been dealing with are wimps." he spoke, clipping off his D-3 as he juggled it in his left palm. "That an offer...? Cause I am single at the moment still." he ended up commenting, his interest piqued at the girl's comment. He was (erroneously) getting a tsundere vibe from Alice, and he was happy to oblige to... being single sucked, and he needed some gal love in his life. "C'mon, it'll be like old times... We have so much in common Alice!" he pleaded as he took a step forward, offering a hug to the girl.

The emerald haired woman rolls her eyes at first, Alice only taking this as a mere attempt to impress her, perhaps stalk her to some extent, a mild nuisance, her stress building and hitting a breaking point when she hears such a demeaning term being used to describe what is obviously a sentient being. Granted, Dorothy isn't the most polite individual there is, but something about the way Tetsu's words are said makes her stomach turn, his desperation to get her back evident and making her increasingly uncomfortable. As polite as Alice usually is... This isn't something that her usual attitude can take for too long. "How do you have it in there? Hah, guess I am less experienced. And I'm sorry about Dorothy's behavio-"
"Well, ya shouldn't be if he's calling me like I'm some kinda animal!" Dorothy seems rather irritated now that she's personally offended. "Haven't ya been to the Digital world? We're at least a lil' like you humans!" She growls a little, the Tsukaimon's tone of voice clearly angry until Alice decides to speak once again, finding her partner's nature perhaps a bit overprotective, but perhaps justified, the little Rookie Digimon standing her ground even under the threat of potential attack.
Alice just sighs, and takes out her own Digivice, mostly out of politeness, a faint orange glow coming from the screen alongside the dark red highlights on its faintly shiny, metallic base. "She's like this sometimes. Anyways, I guess I don't need to hide this, given you've already shown yours. And yes, I would be willing to give you a second chance..." But the words about attacking other Tamers soon hits her ears, and she's unable to hold herself back, her belief that these creatures are more than just monsters showing through. "Wait. You do realize you're... Harming and perhaps even killing other sentient beings, right? You think this is a game?" Her lighter clicks faster now, tapping her foot against the pavement with a faintly echoing sound after taking a step back. She closes her eyes, and briefly shakes her head. "Are you... Implying something?"
Dorothy doesn't quite understand it either, but the more Alice and Tetsu argue, the more she knows a fight is surely going to happen at some point. "I get that ya want your Digimon to be stronger. I wanna be stronger, too." She meaninglessly tries to chime into the conversation, her confident, prideful nature slowly being replaced with that of worry.
Alice remains silent for now, deep in thought. When she finally speaks up again, her mind has connected the dots, and she makes a rather unpleasant assumption. "Is this really about me and you, Tetsu, or do you have something else in mind?"

The blonde man's scowl grew slightly as Dorothy spoke back to him, the way that thing was talking back at him, like they were some kinda person... Gross. Lil' shit was getting on his nerves, and his irritation for them was growing. " Hold your tongue in that mouth of yours little freak... Your nothing like us humans." he irritantly spoke, actually losing his cool briefly in-front of Alice, something he noticed quickly. Damn hamster was making him look bad. Tetsu actually seemed to pause before Alice, blinking briefly as if confused by the woman's words... before snorting as a bit of a chuckle came out. "Oh come on... you seriously don't believe that bullshit, do ya? They're data. Programs. They don't HAVE real feelings, its just all simulated!" he exclaimed, a look of absolute astonishment on his face as he shook his head, a somewhat mocking smile on his face. "Of course its a game.... You can't kill what never was even alive to begin with Alice! Ya ever played Super Mario Brothers? Ya don't cry every time you stomp a Goomba! Besides, these punks just... go back wherever the hell they come from, or just turn into an egg. They're freaks of nature."The man's temper was starting to wane... Frankly, he didn't like that lil' hamster freak at all. If he were in control of things, he'd have had Alice ditch it the first chance they got. It clearly was having a bad impact on the girl... Alice didn't trust him, didn't she? He grinded his teeth in his mouth slightly, his expression growing more serious. "I dunno... is it about you?" he seemed to calmly state... before smirking as he hurled his D-3 over Alice's head, the device's screen glowing as a mass of data about Alice's size poured out... before igniting into black-red flames that formed the shape of a draconic humanoid, a mask materializing over the Darkrizamon's face as it landed a few feet behind Alice... blocking their path. "... or are you going to have to make me have to make this something different Alice?"Despite the dark-flame Digimon's menacing appearance, an almost sorrowful look existed in the bright-blue eyes of the Champion level, slowly blinking as they gazed at Alice and Dorothy... their flames softly burning as they readied to move at a moment's notice.
Tetsu's partner; Darkrizamon, has manifested. Of a Sinister Flame (PASSIVE) - Darkrizamon's body is created mainly from dark flames, offering it resistances against certain types of attacks. Fire and Darkness affinity-style attacks have their effectiveness cut in half, however, Water or Ice-based attacks deal double damage.
Broiling Body (PASSIVE) - Even getting close to Darkrizamon will risk one getting burned. Non-weapon style melee attacks (outside of Fire/Water/Ice-based attacks) that make contact with Darkrizamon will have their user suffer recoil damage from the flames' heat. Additionally, even physical touch outside of attacks will lightly damage those touching Darkrizamon.

OOC: Not sure if this is going to be a good post due to having never done combat before, but here goes!
The mere presence of the terrifying, dimly glowing creature makes both Alice and Dorothy collectively stop in place, Alice's expression suddenly replaced with that of pure horror. This thing, despite its' fiery exterior, is far from anything familiar, a being that belongs in the deepest, darkest pits of hell. Leaping back, she almost tries to flee simply out of impulse, but seeing Dorothy staring the towering, bestial inferno, even if it is even more massive in comparison to her, fills the green haired woman with dread... And a responsibility to stay close. "Dorothy, are you sure you want to do this? He won't stop until you're dead..." The first thing Alice does is try to scan this nightmare with her Digivice, hoping to get some sort of advice from it or at least a clue as to its' nature.
The Tsukaimon looks back at Alice and nods, her entire body rigid and tense, her eyes expressing anger with a slanted brow. "Yep!" She soon begins to quiver, struggling to concentrate in the face of truly overwhelming odds. This Digimon, a far more nightmarish being, has already proven itself several times over in the field of battle, and here was Dorothy, a small, weak Digimon who has only some combat experience in a group. "I-I gotta protect you. You said that yourself, ya dork!" Looking back at the Darkrizamon with fear clearly in her eyes, the rookie Digimon bares her small teeth, trying to get a read on things, occasionally looking back to Alice in worry.
"...I'm not sure what to do, but..." Alice puts away her lighter, and runs her hands through her green locks with a smile as confident as she can make it right now, one marred by nervousness. "All right! Dorothy, if he wants a fight, he's going to get it." She clenches her free hand tightly, Digivice in the other, and starts saying words she doesn't truly understand, a sequence of thoughts formed by emotion over anything else. "You don't understand, do you? Well, I guess we'll have to make you!"
And with a leap that is mighty for her size, Dorothy jumps upwards, kicking off the ground, and focuses her strength deep inside, the heat emanating from Darkrizamon uncomfortable, a horrendous, living furnace that sucks in more light than it creates. Her insides faintly glowing, she puffs up after taking a deep breath, and releases that energy, spewing fireballs one by one at the other Digimon in an attempt to seem unexpected. Orange lights streak by, each small fireball causing the nearby urban scenery to light up briefly each time. As her most powerful attack, she has full faith in it, something designed to deal damage up close, and she is, indeed, up close. And in a situation as potentially desperate as this, where not only Dorothy herself is in danger, but her own Tamer, hoping for the best despite the vast difference of power between the two is the best she can do.
Friendly Fire: Dorothy puffs herself up and wells up heat inside her body to rapidly spew six fireballs in an unpredictable spread. It's called Friendly Fire for a reason: She doesn't care who it hits, it's for attacking a large area. It's your fault for not paying attention, you dork.
Two post cooldown. Can harm friends if they're too close to the enemy. Does extra damage at close range by virtue of all six fireballs hitting the target.

Tetsu almost felt sad that things were not going the way he'd have wanted them. He and Alice could have hooked up again, he'd have even tolerated her lil' shit hamster while doing so... but it seemed they were playing things the hard way. He growled in mild anger seeing that thing scheme with HIS girlfriend, like they were some kinda buddy of theirs. Thing had her brainwashed... He sighed as he shook his head.
This was why he didn't like people.
Darkrizamon seemed to remain eerily quiet as Alice stood back from them, she able to feel the human's fear. Of course they would have been... she'd have likely been terrified too were she in their position. She did notice that they seemed particularly fearful of her... a manner that none of the tamers before them really matched. She could only wonder what horrors the girl had faced before, and how they matched up now...
However, her brief moment of thought left her open to attack as she was assailed by a ferocious storm of fireballs launched out of the tiny Rookie level Digimon's mouth, she in no position to dodge them. She could only manage to stand her ground as she covered herself from the barrage of fireballs. A bit of a sting considering her natural resistance to heat, but she had to give credit that the attack was a cut above most Rookies.
Tetsu growled in mild annoyance to see the pipsqueak damage Darkrizamon, his patience waning. Why did she always give these punks the first strike? It was pissing him off! "Hey! Stop standing! Crush that pipsqueak!" he ordered the Champion level, snapping his fingers aggressively.
The Darkrizamon relented, letting out a tired sigh. This would be quick. Her eyes gleamed as she soon shifted in position, aiming to rush down the small target as she aimed a claw swipe downward to try and pin the creature to the ground, her claw enveloped in darkness.
Darkrizamon was hit by Friendly Fire. She is attacking Dorothy with Mark of Golachab.
Mark of Golachab - Darkrizamon strikes a foe with her claw, enveloped in dark power. Deals moderate damage, but it additionally leaves an ominous rune that enhances fire-based damage inflicted on their for their next 2 turns. (Cooldown: 2 turns)
Cooldowns: Mark of Golachab - Waiting

OOC: Again not sure if this is correct. Please feel free to correct me in case I've got anything wrong.
Dorothy lets out a little bit of a cough after her attack... Only to be smacked down by the Champion Digimon's claw, making a loud squeak of pain as she's batted down to the ground, the searing, scorched mark on her flesh causing her to shiver. She slowly wriggles back upright with a pained but still determined expression, ready to attack again, but she hesitates, knowing just how outmatched she really is. "Y-You aren't hurtin' her!" She tries to stand up straight, stumbling several times, but eventually she picks herself up. Alice can only watch the creature suffer.
"...Tetsu. Does a simple program scream like that? I want you to understand... Stop this, and we can talk this over. These aren't mere programs, there's something more to them than that... " At first, the green haired woman tries to bargain with him, gripping her Digivice tightly as she watches her own Digimon partner suffer, Alice's frown only growing more and more apparent. She soon turns her attention to Dorothy herself, taking a few steps around in a partial circle to get a better view of what's happening, pacing back and forth in a frustrated manner.
Her Digimon leaps into the air once again, flying a bit lower this time, ready to attack again, but at a loss as for what to do, occasionally struggling to stay up as the symbol branded onto her body stings. "Y-Yeah, what she said! She cares 'bout me, that's all that matters! I'd die for her!" Dorothy's words are said with a reckless confidence, a rather emotional truth.
The green haired woman continues to attempt to reason with her ex-boyfriend, an increasing desperation and panic overcoming her. "...A physical assault won't work. Just... Try to buy time, I don't know!" She orders Dorothy first, then proceeds to try and get through to Tetsu, taking a deep breath and beginning to speak to him again, trying to remain confident despite the circumstances. "It doesn't matter if they're real or not. What matters is that we're fighting over something this petty. Surely, there's a reason you're doing this..."
"Yeah! Words may be boring, but Alice ain't stupid..." Her Digimon chimes in, and hops back, thinking she can at least buy some time in this rather unpleasant situation. Taking another deep breath, the burn mark on her body causes a harsh, throbbing pain, forcing her to exhale prematurely. Fear slowly creeps across her mind, knowing that she's in no condition to fight. With a second attempt, she manages to do so, spewing out a cloud of sickly purple smoke at the Darkrizamon in hopes to slow it down, the thick, toxic smog likely to cause some degree of choking and be an unpleasant experience, to say in the least.
Both Alice and her Digimon know they can't keep this up. The green haired woman hopes some sort of miracle comes her way, because at this point, Dorothy is completely outmatched.
Dorothy has attempted to use Purple Haze on Darkrizamon.
Purple Haze: Dorothy breathes out a plume of poisonous smoke with numerous symptoms, including irritation to the lungs and throat, temporary blindness, and weakness, softening up anyone foolish enough to get caught by it. It also works as a good smokescreen for when one needs to flee (Though that sure ain't happening here).
Stuns for 1 turn, blinds for 1 turn after that. Three post cooldown.
Mark of Golachab is still on Dorothy.
Friendly Fire is cooling down. 1/2

Tetsu's dark glare was directed at Alice, he scoffing briefly at the woman's attempts to reason with him. Honestly, laughable... she just really didn't get this, did she? She was being manipulated by that dumb jelly bean, when she should be the one in-control! "You got to be kiddin' Alice...? You fell for its lies! That thing ain't anymore but a tool, and your letting it use you! Wasted potential!"
Darkrizamon just attempted to ignore her tamer's remarks, simply shutting their eyes as she attempted to concentrate the fight at hand. She could have done better without being called an it so frequently... Already her concentration was being jostled by the argument between the two humans in the sidelines, affording Dorothy a chance to blast her face with noxious fumes. Even for a creature wreathed in flames, she was not prone to vile fumes like those exhaled out by the Rookie level, the Champion level rearing back slightly as she began coughing with a dark, gutteral tone, their eyes forced shut from the gas.
The man's patience was wavering, he unable to understand just what angle Alice was getting at. It was too late for words... he in a way wished the girl had not had that wretched Tsukaimon to begin with. They could have been out drinking now or somethin' at this point! But no... that thing had to put a wedge in his chances. No matter, they were both just going to be just like all the others they've dealt with... stepping stones to something greater. "Your missing the point entirely... this fight's not pointless. Don't ya get it? Digimon fight to grow stronger and eventually Digivolve... The winner gets to absorb the other's data, the loser gets thrown back into the Digital World or goes back to being an egg... This is just BUSINESS Alice, nothing to do with you!" he scowled as he exclaimed at the woman, he glancing at his flinching partner. He hated stalling... why couldn't that stupid hamster just accept they were gonna lose?! "What are you doing?! Stop messin' around and burn that twerp!" he angrily commanded at the flaming lizard Digimon, who was still attempting to catch their breath.
"I-I'm... trying." they managed to weakly mutter, heaving still from the Tsukaimon's attack. They were a cut above the rest, but their fate was inevetable like the others. Perhaps.
Darkrizamon was hit by Purple Haze and was stunned this turn.

"...I guess you don't get it, then. Enough words, enough talk. If you don't understand just how valuable your Digimon is to you... " Her glare comes back just as cold, the mask of her usual behavior slipping off slightly. Alice's own patience has run out, her attitude shifting to a more aggressive tone. Even Dorothy herself is taken aback at this a little bit, but quickly goes back to her more determined state. "These creatures, like it or not, are people just like you and me They live, they breathe, they bleed, they die... Is there really a difference? Is there?!" Alice's words get rather loud near the end, her offense and emotions clear for all to see, and she gazes into the screen of her Digivice for a moment, having caught a glimpse something odd within it for just a moment.
A flash of light shines in Dorothy's eyes, but she doesn't seem to notice as it fades, hope to win reinvigorated, her small legs moving her forwards. "Yeah! The only difference is that I'm short and small!" She stands as tall as she can, a confident smile visible on the little rookie Digimon's face despite the dire situation, and readies to attack again, doing a few stretches while her darkly glowing opponent reels from the poisonous air.
The intensity of Alice's emotions hit a peak, and the same light is briefly visible in her eyes as well, the light on her Digivice glowing even brighter. "I won't lose. Not because Dorothy is weaker, but because you only care about strength when you've ignored your Digimon's emotions, their heart... And that's just as important as the rest of them. Without an emotional connection to your partner, your friend... You might as well be completely alone!" The screen on Alice's Digivice turns bright white, a small shockwave coming off from the sheer amount of energy inside it, the emerald haired Tamer's seething rage and desire to prove herself right causing something that Alice finds impossible, Dorothy's skin melting off and revealing a polygon grid underneath before being bound in a luminous cocoon of code.
"W-What the heck!?" The green haired woman can only look on as this happens, finally realizing that this is her doing. She can only stare into the beautiful, somewhat terrifying evolution of her Digimon partner as the small orb of swirling data stretches out and becomes larger, air being pushed away in a rush of wind, preventing anyone from getting closer until it ends.
As the chrysalis unravels, the figure that emerges is as far from the small, almost cute creature that once was Alice's Digimon partner. What stands before her, Tetsu and Darkrizamon now is a vaguely uncanny mockery of the human form, a humanoid clothed in an elaborate, tight fitting red dress, a broom at her side and a pointed hat atop her head. "Oh... This is new." The witch states this with large, pointed teeth, an unnaturally large grin on her face, catlike eyes looking around with a prideful air to her stature... Stumbling, the new figure's first steps are anything but graceful, almost seeming dizzy and not used to such a shape. "C'mon... Gimme a minute to get used to this!" She snaps at nobody in particular, looking at one of her oversized, glove covered hands with a laugh before hopping onto her broom, the broom floating off the ground as if by magic. "Gyahaha, now I'm gonna rip you all to shreds! All of you! ALL OF YOU!" Dorothy's expression turns completely deranged, a bloodthirsty grin, and she laughs, too excited and proud of herself to take advantage of what she did earlier.
Dorothy has Digivolved to Witchmon. She's too busy gloating to attack.
Mark of Golachab's effect persists.

Tetsu shook his head at Alice's speech, failing to grasp the girl's raw emotion. What did she think this was... an anime? She seriously thought Digimon were comparable to humans? Man, forget this... there was no way he could have hooked up with her if she thought these things were anything like that! "Then why are WE the ones who call the shots? They're TOOLS Alice! How many times do I have to drill that into your thick skull?!" he yelled, amazed that the girl was willing to go this far to actually defend that shitty excuse of a hamster.
Even with the small setback with Darkrizamon being blinded briefly, Tetsu couldn't have imagine the fight going any other way but victory... so seeing that tiny Tsukaimon suddenly Digivolve before his very eyes was one way to sober him up quickly as he choked in shock. "Y-Your kiddin' ME?! That squirt Digivolved?!" he exclaimed, his prior gusto fading quick. That shouldn't have been possible... They didn't Digivolve immediately a moment ago, so WHY now? "N-No matter! Kill it! Kill it!" he panicked for a moment, backing off from the scene. Wh-why was he worrying about this? He's had Darkrizamon fight Champion levels before! He kinda wished he had not thrown his Digivice prior, else he'd have tried scanning this skank... Why did it look so human, but so off? Even more reason to get it killed ASAP...
Darkrizamon growled lightly, unable to make out just what the Tsukaimon had Digivolved to... but she could make out a taller, red-shape. She still could barely see a damn thing, but she did not like that her foe was now on an equal playing field... She growled as she struggled to see through her blurry eyes, unable to quite see her foe... though she wasn't as helpless now. "Dread Fire." she managed to bellow as she exhaled out blast of black flames at the shape, though her current condition left its aim a bit off.
Darkrizamon has used Dread Fire.
Dread Fire - Darkrizamon exhales a fast-moving bullet of black fire at a foe. A mostly average attack, but can be spammed very liberally by Darkrizamon.
Cooldowns: Mark of Golachab - 1 turn
Effects: Purple Haze Blind - ends next turn.

"Gyahahahaha... Ya really think I'll get hit by that?! You couldn't even hit a Whamon if it was right next to you!" She grabs the broom tightly, and floats upwards, the fireball drifting alarmingly close to Alice, the green haired Tamer diving away onto the pavement, her shock only growing as things only escalate to increasingly dangerous levels. Her Digimon simply laughs, uncaring of the potential injury that could have happened, and she holds out a hand with a small fire cradled within her palm, blowing it out mockingly. "C'mon. Do better... Otherwise this won't be fun." Another snap of her large fingers and a green magic circle forms at her hand, but for now she's content to simply verbally assault her opponents and allies alike, taunting them. "And you, blonde dork... I see the way you're looking at me. Ya jealous~?"
She continues to laugh until Alice snaps back at her with a loud, harsh voice. "What the hell are you doing, Dorothy!? You nearly got me killed..." Picking herself up off the gray, artificial ground and brushing the dirt away, she winces from some of the scrapes. "Guh... You are Dorothy, right?" Alice gazes at her Digivice and scans the cackling, deranged witch, a slow, painful realization coming across her shown to all by the look on her face. This is her partner now, a bloodthirsty witch capable of much more destruction than anything her previous form could accomplish. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
And her laughter only continues. "Relax, Greeny. I don't need your instructions, I got this handled now... You really do need to stop worryin' so much. Baluluna... Gale!" She brings the hand with the magic circle over to Alice's direction as she slowly drifts downwards, and with a flick of her wrist, the green circle discharges, the green haired woman being blown away with a sudden gust of wind not strong enough to harm her, but enough to force her own Tamer a fair distance away, a sadistic, gleeful grin on Dorothy's face that remains as she turns to gaze directly into her opponent's eyes. "Now that she's outta the way, I'm gonna destroy both of ya... Oh, I'll take a lotta pleasure in hearing those hard bits of yours snap... Whatever they are. I wonder what makes humans tick, ya know?" She snaps her fingers once more, and another green circle of runes and illogical symbols forms a short distance from her hands.
The Witchmon's grin only becomes flat out psychotic now as she repeats the magic spell again, this time directed at someone far more hostile, bringing her hand forward in a slashing motion as she aims it at the Darkrizamon, her pupils nightmarish, narrow slits... The face of a killer, plain and simple, someone who revels in battle. "Baluluna Gale!" Her attack is rough and uncoordinated, a reckless, uncaring one showing just how little she cares of the current fight.
For now, all that matters to Dorothy is that she finally feels the power she's always wanted to have.
Her own Tamer be damned.
Baluluna Gale: A circle of runes quickly forms in Dorothy's hand, and is dispersed with a blast of air pressure akin to a blade or hammer, slashing anything in its' radius or punting them away with pure blunt force.
Mark of Golachab's effect fades!

Darkrizamon only could let out a frustrated growl as her vision began to recuperate, just in time to see the newly-evolved Witchmon evade her attack, having no regards to ever her own tamer's safety. The way they so callously tossed their own tamer aside was actually chilling... Tetsu was not a good person, but she'd never dare lay a finger on him. There was no telling what they could do now... were they serious on their threat? Suddenly this fight's stakes were increased... were either of the humans here safe now?
Tetsu on the otherhand was absolutely terrified of the situation now. What should have been an easy picking was getting way scarier than it had any right to be. Were they... actually threatening him?
He freakin' knew it... these Digimon were actual monsters.
"Wh-what the hell is wrong with you?!" he exclaimed, a genuine look of her horror on his face as he took a few steps back. This wasn't supposed to be how things were supposed to go... Things would have been just fine if they stayed weak and useless, but now here they were threatening to kill them. The demon woman's malevolent comment about his inner workings was the last straw, fear on his face. "B-BACK OFF YOU PSYCHO!"
Darkrizamon cursed herself, a genuinely defensive look on the flaming lizard's face as they directed their attention to Dorothy. The way this girl was now fighting was not out of mere self-defense... no, this woman had a bloodlust directed at both her and her tamer. They were actingcompletely unlike any of the other partner Digimon before... their increasingly rational appearance was beginning to genuinely frighten her. Unfortunately for her, she was being thrown into a bad spot fight-wise. The alleyways offered no real room to evade the blast of violent wind aimed at her... all she could manage to try and do was fend it off as best as she could. The Champion growled in pain as she braced herself, her flaming form sliced painfully by the sharp wind currents as she attempted to barrel forward to close the distance between her and her foe... the dark flame Digimon's body a bit less vibrant in it's conflagration.
She couldn't afford to play games now. This girl had to be put down, and quick too. The dark affinity Digimon's maw filled with dark fire. "Burning Bodies." softly spoke as she let loose a far more destructive blast of fire, more ala a flamethrower at Dorothy, aiming to scorch the witch at close range.
Were her tamer not scared out of his wits, she'd have expected a "burn the witch" joke right about now... but that was just poor taste.
Darkrizamon was damaged by Baluluna Gale, but has used Burning Bodies.
Burning Bodies - Darkrizamon spews out a horrific flame that threatens to envelop a foe's body, damaging and turning them into a living bonfire for 3 turns. During this time, they will take additional fire damage each turn unless they can put out the flames. (Cooldown: 3 turns)
Cooldowns: Mark of Golachab - ready next turn Burning Bodies - waiting

The flames consume Dorothy and envelop her in a swirling orange cloak of pain, her laughter stopping as she wails in agony, a brief moment of hesitation coming from the already nightmarish individual. Resembling a burning scarecrow, she reaches out with an arm, a cackle coming from the burning witch, uncaring of the pain at first, but it soon gets to her once again, tears in her eyes evaporating the moment they come out due to the sheer heat. Her shrieks only increase in volume, as does her desperation, the sound enough to get Alice to return to her feet and witness what is happening for herself, the green haired woman already rather shaken as she staggers forwards. "...What are you doing, this is too reckless!" The Tamer of the psychotic witch weakly shouts out her words, clutching her side in pain.
"I don't understand why you'd attack me like that... Have you learned nothing from our time together?!" As much as Alice tries to get to her Digimon partner, her words aren't given any attention, the emerald haired woman just as horrified at what her once beloved and normally rather friendly, if somewhat troublesome, Digimon has become.
Alice is ignored as the witch Digimon continues to slowly float upwards a bit, her burning, flame covered body only making her even more nightmarish as sheer murderous intent allows her to pull through. "Shut up, shut up, shut up! I can handle this! I can do it!" This personal, blazing hell she's wrapped within isn't something she can handle, fear evident in her voice as she continues her advance, her pride apparently so great that even self preservation takes second place on the surface. In truth, Dorothy's fear is in control, a desperate, fearful confidence born of an urge to survive, and she cannot keep this up forever.
Channeling as much energy as possible into her arm, Dorothy's mind wanders to something, anything that can quench the flames, parts of her dress scorched black and her flesh burning as a blue magical circle forms at her hands, a vicious, pained grin forming on her face. "It's you or me, hothead. One of us is going down, whether ya like it or not... I'm gonna slice you to bits... And then give your Tamer a nice... N-Never mind! DIE!" She taps her fingers on the magic circle, slowly charging it up, and as she does so, her Tamer watches on in shock.
Even if Dorothy wins, her victory will be far from glamorous.
Dorothy has been hit by Burning Bodies. She is on fire, and will remain so for 3 turns.
Dorothy is charging Aquary Pressure.
Aquary Pressure: A magic circle gradually forms at Dorothy's hands as she focuses, and when sufficiently charged, it glows brightly before focusing into a pinprick-sized beam of ultra-high pressure water capable of cutting through objects, piercing holes in walls, and shredding flesh apart.
Ignores defensive buffs, shields, armor, hiding in cover, and so on. Takes one post to charge up.
