Once Elliot removed his hands Wren as quick to flutter up into the branches of a nearby tree. Her white feathers helped the Digimon blend in with the snowy branches surprisingly well with only the red of her clothing and her blue eyes truly standing out from the pale snow. Yet as the MangaAngemon began to walk off the Harpymon frowned in concern and curiosity. Soon a shadow would fall across Elliot once again in his digital form as the winged Digimon fluttered to another tree, then another, then another and it became clear she was following him.
"Why aren't you flying?" She finally asked, "Don't you know how?" She inquired, but that couldn't be right he'd stopped his own fall with his own wings before so he had to at least know the basics.
"You're going to freeze to death trudging through the snow like that. You don't even have proper down feathers." Wren added eyeing the MagnaAngemon's thin robes with mild derision. They were very pretty of course, but didn't look terribly warm and he certainly wasn't wearing much beneath them or so the Harpymon recalled with a fierce blush.

The Harpymon's question was funny, in a way. For a lot of kids Elliot's age, being able to fly wherever and whenever they wanted would be like a dream come true. For Elliot, thanks to the condition of his bad leg, just being able to walk normally had so much more impact than that. He looked up at the Digimon, smiling somewhat sadly. "It is rare that I have the chance to walk like this," he admitted. "Whenever I can, I like to savor it." In the human world he had to hobble, and in the Digital World he had to run from one panic to the next. Why couldn't he enjoy some peace and quiet every now and then?
That said, this wasn't the only reason he was hesitant about flying. "Besides, I was not going to linger in this form for long," he added. "I would not want to keep you uncomfortable for much longer, so once I was sure the coast was safe I was going to shed it. Granted, that would not help with the cold, but I can manage." The Harpymon wasn't really helping with that by following him around, but what could Elliot do? Clearly, for one reason or another, she was sticking around.
"My name is Elliot, by the way," he said, figuring that if the Harpymon would continue following him around he might as well socialize a bit. "May I ask yours?"

"I mean don't get me wrong an Angel is not the first form I would choose." The Harpymon huffed out with a soft snort at the idea of her donning the evolution of one of the light worshiping menaces. The very image in itself was laughable. She would never be good enough for the likes of them just like she doubted she would ever be good enough for the man that called himself her Father. It made no sense to linger on impossibilities.
"Still your mobility now is clearly superior to that which your human form is capable of. Why give that up even with the comfort of another in mind? Why wear your human form at all? What can it do for you that MagnaAngemon cannot?" The winged Digimon asked motioning to the Angel's figure lightly with one wing as she tilted her head in curiosity. She was rather surprised at the other boys boldness in offering her his name as she turned it over in her mind finding herself liking the sound of it despite being too shy to test it on her tongue.
"I'm Wren." She finally offered, it was a simple name. Her last name really, but not love was lost between her and her unfortunate first name that was for certain. "Though I suppose if you'd like you may call me Birdie like Aster does....since you know...you fixed my wing and all." Wren murmured glancing away to hide the blush that seemed determined to stain her cheeks.

From an objective standpoint, Wren was right. Past the Rookie level, there was really no time when a human body was superior to a Digimon one. Veemon might have been short and stubby, true, but MagnaAngemon was basically him as an apparently gorgeous man in his physical prime. However, there was just something missing about that form which Elliot couldn't quite put his finger on. "Well, it is quite the nice form, but it just does not feel as much like me, you know?" he asked. "I actually work quite well with the form, but I think it will always be my original self that I am most comfortable with." Even with the bad leg and freshly growth-spurted lankiness, Elliot was always going to want to be Elliot in the end.
"Besides, your comfort is important to me, too," he added. "I can tell this form is very distressing for you. I mean, you can not even look at me right now." Oh, Elliot. If only you knew why that actually was. It seemed MagnaAngemon was many things, but "not oblivious" sadly was not one of them.
He hummed softly as he heard Wren finally introduce yourself. "Wren," he repeated, as if turning over the name in his head a few times. "You have a nice name," he added. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you.
Although, would you prefer I use Birdie? Both fit you very well." Elliot didn't seem completely comfortable with using her nickname both soon, but really he was all too happy to leave it up to preference. "Is Aster a friend of yours?"

"I..." Wren stuttered out nearly losing her grip on the branch she was perched upon at Elliot's words. "That's not! I..uh." She blushed hard and hot her cheeks tinging pink in the cold air as she buried her face behind her wings in embarrassment. Both at his comment about her comfort, and the one about her name, and the fact he thought the reason she was so flustered was because his form was an angel Digimon rather then the fact HE was a partially naked and admittedly rather attractive angel Digimon. Though while Wren had to admit the MagnaAngemon form was certainly useful the boy she'd snatched out of the snow had been equally cute.
"It's...it's not that. Sure you being an Angel Digimon was off-putting at first, but uh...no it's not that. I'm fine. Really. You don't need to change for me. You shouldn't ever change for anyone, but you." The Harpymon spoke up her stutter fading a bit leading into firm determination at her final words. There was certainly a story there, but whether she felt comfortable enough to tell him yet was debatable. Still she latched onto the question about Aster like a lifeline hoping to avoid explaining just why she was 'uncomfortable.'
"Oh uh. Sort of? He's....well I don't know what word to use for him, but he looks out for me. He taught me to fly. What foods are safe, where the best hunting spots for weaker digimon laden with bits are. Why you should never ever use a tommygun as a walking stick. You know...important things like that." She explained with a grin.

Elliot let out a soft hum as he noticed that Wren seemed rather . . . off. Her cheeks were tinged red, and she was burying her face in her soft, warm feathers. Clearly, the problem was that she was cold. With her metal armor and completely exposed face, Elliot was under no illusions that the solution was anything but that. He tilted his head somewhat, then nodded. "I understand," he said, the slight knowing tone to his voice running the risk of sounding flirtatious were it not coming from the ever-stoic MagnaAngemon.
He flew up to Wren, then slid off his robe and offered it to her. Now he was left only in his far lighter undergarments, the shirt of which continued to be torn cleanly in half. "Here. If you are cold, I would not want you to have to go without," he said. "I can always warm myself with a bit of holy light, so I promise it is of no problem to me." Yeah, clearly Elliot fell into the mold someone who liked angels would expect them to be like, rather than the vengeful, deceitful bullies that seemed to have plagued Wren's life. A shame this would only make the embarrassment of his rather sculpted physique all the worse.
That said, did Wren really have issue with Elliot changing? He looked quite bewildered by that. "I promise you, it would be of no issue to me," Elliot said. "I am no stranger to changing form to best suit what situation I may be in. Although, I admit, humanlike forms such as this are far more comfortable to me." It was a weird mentality for a creature as malleable as a Digimon to have. It was almost as if Wren was . . .
Oh! Details about Aster. Those were quite interesting to hear, and Elliot stepped back to listen with interest. He seemed like a nice guy, although also kind of a gangster. Did he really own a tommy gun? Did Digimon even have those? Nevertheless, Elliot found himself smiling. "He sounds wonderful," Elliot said. "Although, I must ask . . .
Why do you steal?"

"Oh Jesmon on a cracker!" The Harpymon swore flailing in surprise as Elliot as MagnaAngemon flew up to her and slid his robe off. While logically she knew guys existed and that yes realistically from art and magazine covers Wren knew that some of them were easier on the eyes then others; she'd never much paid attention to such things. There'd always been something more important demanding her time and attention and it wasn't like some hot guy was going to throw himself at her shirtless...only one was and now Wren found herself woefully unprepared for a situation many other girls her age had endlessly daydreamed about. Even as she flailed back burying her face further behind her wings and almost losing her grip on her branch as she went over backwards. Leaving her to dig her talons into the bark as her tail lashed tight about the branch leaving the winged Digimon in question hanging upside down not unlike a Demidevimon rather then a Harpymon.
"Please put your shirt back on....I swear if you don't I'm not even going to be able to look you in the eye till you do." Wren whined even as she attempted briefly to peek through her feathers at his question only to let out a little surprised chirp and bury her face back into her wings.
"Nope. Nope. Shirt is definitely a requirement for furthering this conversation." She squeaked out her voice muffled and slightly strained and face as red as a tomato from not only blushing, but from being left hanging upside down her arms too occupied in blocking him from seeing her face to be used to right herself once more.

Elliot let out a small confused hum, looking down at his clothes and realizing now just the full extent to which they had been torn from Wren's earlier attack. He knew his shirt had taken a bit of a beating, but he didn't realize that once disrobed he was basically shirtless! A slight blush came over the angel's face as he realized his mistake, hastily donning his robe. "Right. My apologies," he said, once he had fully clothed himself again. If before he thought Wren was still cold, at least now he had successfully been disabused of that notion.
Was that seriously the case, though? Nobody had ever, you know, looked at Elliot that way before. Even without Isaac lurking in the wings ready to take a crowbar to anyone who let their eyes linger on him for too long, Elliot had never really had a lot of attention from the ladies. Well, except for the time he and Evie had quite the great blind date. Or all of those weird looks that Mitsuko kept giving him. And Hiroyo mistaking him for a cute older guy, especially in MagnaAngemon form. Okay, so maybe Elliot had a lot more luck when it came to distracting the ladies than he thought, when push came to shove. That didn't make the idea any less foreign to him, however, and he was fairly sure that once he was a bit more covered up he'd never have to think of it again.
"Where were we, again?" he asked, snapping out of his brief pondering. This had been chaotic enough that the poor boy had already forgotten what he was talking about!

"You were about to head back to where ever you came from before you freeze to death out here in nothing, but your silly robes." Wren pointed out neatly rerouting the conversation her cheeks still bright with color as she pointed on wing towards the distant Snowflake village. Sniffing the air lightly she frowned.
"Sides a snowstorm is going to be blowing in soon. You don't want to be flying in it. You can smell the frost on the air." She explained righting herself on the branch with a quick flap of her wings though she was still careful to look anywhere, but at the handsome MagnaAngemon that the rather cute boy had become.
"And I think I here Aster calling me! So I should get back home!" Wren adds taking off as she hovers for a moment glancing at Elliot once more.
"I uh...I'll see you around sometime! Bye" She calls out moving to fly away.
