Armor Champion
Species:
Pantheramon (Digimental of Deceit)
Appearance:
Resembles a large, pitch-black cat with long, thin limbs and an overall sleek and spindly appearance. It's body being so atramentous that its features are difficult to make out, and it seems to completely disappear in low light. Only when it is about to attack or use a technique do the symbols and markings on its body flash a harvest moon-like glow. The light is actually meant to startle prey, confuse targets and render them less likely to defend themselves before it strikes. Among the most notable markings that glow an eerie yellow is the Crest of Deceit, which resembles the Crest of Sincerity (Reliability in the English dub), only turned on its side (so that it resembles a "plus" in place of a cross) and the triangles elongated in a sinister fashion. Its eyes also glow the same color as its markings, and will similarly darken in the shadows.
Attribute:
Data
Family/ies:
Nature Spirits, Nightmare Soldiers
Type:
Beast
Fighting Style:
Stealth is the name of the game. Pantheramon hides in shadows, climbs to great heights, and then startles the foe with light and sound before striking the confused opponent. Some believe Panthermon's shock tactics are an adaptation to the fact that digimon must generally call out their attacks in order to use them. By adopting the scare tactics of actual cats (who intend to scare flying prey into taking off so that they may be predictably caught in midair), Pantehramon turns a detriment to stealth into an advantage.
Pantheramon also utilizes tension and theatricality in order to spook foes, making them more likely to panic when she pounces. She will move silently, flash her lights in the darkness, and make the foe scare themselves as they anticipate her next attack.
Panthermon is, however, quite frail and--though agile--cannot continuously evade a close-quarters assault. She takes more damage than the average armor-level digimon from physical attacks.
Abilities: [6 Abilities Max]
1. Shadow Meld - Melts into any shadow, automatically adjusting to the shade to render itself completely invisible to the naked eye. It's speed also greatly as it moves silently in the shadows. From here, it can flash its lights, snarl, growl and roar; flitting about from place to place in order to make it seem as though there are more of itself, and to work its target into a panic as it wonders where it will strike. Should light fall directly on her, her speed is reduced to normal.
Pantheramon can remain hidden in the shadows for three posts before she must reveal herself. This attack shares a cooldown with Abyssal Assault, as they require this technique in order to function. The cooldown after Pantheramon reveals itself is two posts.
2. Stygian Claw - A swift swipe of a darkness-infused claw from the shadows that deals damage while attempting to stay hidden. The damage moderate at best, but as long as the foe's retaliatory attack doesn't immobilize her, she has a good chance of moving back out under the cover of darkness and disappearing again. It can also be used without being hidden, but it's damage is sub-optimal without the added bonus of maintaining stealth.
4. World of Darkness - In the real world: Absorbs any electrical light within a three hundred-foot radius, rendering it unusable and the area darker. In the digital world: Absorbs most of the light in a three hundred foot radius, creating a pocket of nighttime lighting. Within this space, the battlefield looks and functions as it would were it night time. If it is already night in the digital world, Pantheramon can pull light from the moon and stars, making the night darker. This can be used only once per armor digivolution. It lasts until Pantheramon utilizes her Hell Flash.
3. Hell Flash - A bright, eerie light shines from Pantheramon's eyes and markings. It is meant to startle foes before it attacks, in hopes of preventing any kind of defensive maneuver. It's a somewhat risky bid to increase the effectiveness of her Abyssal Assault by causing a frightened foe to flinch or flee before she uses it on her next turn. This will temporarily blind any digimon or human utilizing natural or artificial night vision (one post to adjust eyes). Once this is done, it cancels out her Shadow Meld. Can only be used after absorbing light with World of Darkness. Pantheramon can utilize her Abyssal Assault on the next post, utilizing an opportunity regardless of whether or not Shadow Meld is active.
5. Abyssal Assault - A vicious attack with claws and fangs of darkness, meant to bring the foe to the ground. Should the foe attempt to leap or fly out of the way after Hell Flash, Abyssal Assault becomes more likely to knock the foe prone.
6. Fear Tactics - Utilizing her reverberating roar, her seemingly disembodied voice, her body lights and anything else she can improvise, Pantheramon creates an atmosphere of fear. Cowardly digimon may attempt to flee (bad idea) and only the most stalwart digimon (or higher evolutions that know she can't harm them too badly) will be able to resist the fear creeping up their spines. This can make it easier for her attacks to land, and harder for them to think rationally enough to detect her actual presence and defend or attack appropriately.
(Passive) Reverberating Roar - Her roar, snarls and growls echo, making it difficult to discern from whence they'd been issued.
(Passive) Disembodied Voice - Like Ocellimon, her rookie form, Pantheramon's voice seems to echo inside the heads of all who hear it, meaning she cannot be tracked by the sound of it.
(Passive) Silent Footsteps - Her movement is as silent as an owl's flight through the night.
(Passive) Acrobatics - Pantheramon can climb any surface with enough area for her to grasp with her limbs. She is long and light, and can slip up and through a surprising amount of places.
(Passive) Law of Righting Reflex - Unless she is somehow incapacitated, stunned or paralyzed, Pantheramon always lands on her feet from any height, making her effectively immune to fall damage.

Ocellimon has an empty skill slot i'd like to fill at this time.
4. Pulse Dart - Small electrical bolt, preferably fired from a hidden location. Will temporarily disable electronic devices struck by the attack (or held by the target) for one post. Can stun small animals, but not digimon. Two-post cooldown.
