[Continued from I Hang Around Here (Sho & Torahiko)] A lion cub stood in front of Tora. Something Sho thought he would see clearer while leaning against a Rubix cube big enough for him to get some actual relief in the shade. No matter what he saw here Sho wasn't sure what could confuse him anymore other than the stuff he hadn't seen yet. Like that supposed Cherrymon or other Digimon as big as this feline like one in front of him. Maybe even just seeing a Tamer meet their partner for the first time.
Sho wasn't quite sure if he was even seeing that last one in front of him right now. But if they got all the way here there had to at least be something to it, right? Even if he'd asked his questions, Sho couldn't help but hang back and at least observe from a distance. Those two certainly had the floor...One that Sho didn't feel he could intrude on.

| Where The Lion Led |
"Yeah, I can see that you two were careful, I've been keeping an eye on you two ever since you stepped inside this place in any case." The Leormon said, earning another starry-eyed gaze from Torahiko. "Wow, that's so cool! It's that an ability of yours?" He asked with all the curiosity of an excited child seeing their favorite superhero for the first time.
The Rookie-level Digimon felt a bead of sweat trail down the side of his head, giving them an aside-glance as he walked around them. "No, but there's a nice vantage atop this enormous cube. You can practically see almost everything." He looked almost amused at the pout the green-haired male gave out before he shook that off.
"I might have answers to the questions you seek." The Rookie said, sounding almost regal in a way as he jumped up atop a small formation of blocks to loom over the two humans with an almost comically imperious air around him. "As for why you don't have a Digivice, I don't know. Perhaps you haven't just found your partner yet." The lion spoke, though the knowing look in his eyes seemed to know more than he let on.
"Anyways, shoot." He said, and almost immediately Torahiko's voice was on a rapid autopilot barrage, the Digimon waving his paws frantically to stop the overly excited individual. "Woah there, partner. Slow down; not so fast. I can't answer your question if I can't understand you!"
Pouting again, the human eventually asked one simple question, as Sho also needed to take his turn to ask some questions of his own. "Is there any chance you could be my Digimon partner?" The human asked, sounding almost shy and unsure at the end. "I mean, I don't have a Digivice of my own, so I don't know if I'm actually a Tamer..."
The Rookie was silent for a moment, merely scrutinizing the human with a serious expression before he finally spoke again. "Perhaps, or perhaps not. Normally a partnership between a Digimon and a Tamer happens when the Digimon is a Baby or even a Digitama." At the confused expression on Tora's face at the last term, the Digimon explained himself. "A Digitama is a form a Digimon takes before they're born to the world; simply put we hatch from eggs."
Tora made a sound of understanding before turning towards Sho. "Your turn, Sho!"

He took out his digivice and held it in front of himself, walking towards that lion-like Digimon as he spoke. Even his voice would gather and grow as he neared what he thought to be answers. "It's just a real simple one...What am I? I've been nearly shocked by lightning, turned into this Tsukaimon by my own will and otherwise..." He began to close the distance, trying not to chuckle himself crazy with how ridiculous he himself thought this was. Just being able to find an answer.
"And sometimes I feel its own thoughts in my mind like it's just as much of me as I am. I'm not some hybrid or anything, right? No secret accidental origin for sure?" Sho continued into the only question he thought he could really ask. In some way he was trying to convince himself that what he knew to be true wouldn't dissolve in front of him any more than it did that night. Or even when he stepped off the terminal just today. Even as he held his device right in front of the Digimon, turning it in his hands to face him to where even the heart-shapsd markings that covered the grip were showing.
"I just want to know what I am. What connection do I have with this world?" Sho pried, standing right in front of him and nearly outside the shade of the cube he'd so easily relied upon. Not much in the way of reliance anyway, he was here with one other person. With someone he couldn't share this experience with. Maybe this Digimon could. Something he just might be, just a little bit inside that was just as much a set of numbers and arguments as the things that surrounded him.
"Even if you can't answer me, you have to know someone who can. I'm sure my answers lie here. In your world." Sho asked, trying to cover his angles. Making sure that no matter what, he'd get somewhere.
