Personality:
Noah is a quiet guy, he rarely speaks up and starts conversations unless there's a good reason for it. Usually he prefers to keep to himself but his egg is starting to crack and he's slowly coming out of the shell that restricts him. You could say that Noah is somewhat stoic which mainly comes from being bullied in school, although thankfully this wasn't for too long but it did change him from being more open and happy to what he is today. Despite this rather reserved persona, Noah is a trustworthy and loyal person, he sticks to his promises and keeps secrets with him which shows that underneath he is a friendly guy.
Despite this shyness, Noah is an intelligent individual although perhaps not head of the class intelligent. He isn't ignorant to the fact that people can find him irritating or have trouble bonding with him due to how he acts, which of course means he has few friends which were mainly made due to him being a hobbyist. Painting and collecting miniatures is something that he bonded with others over and even comics and trading cars, so yes, you could say he is a bit of a 'nerd'. Being able to share a meaningful activity of his with others is what caused his egg to crack which surprised others and himself. Relationships aren't much of a thing that Noah thinks about, or has experience with, he values friendship more than anything and whilst a partner or romantic interest is nice it's not something he concerns himself with.
Appearance:
Noah is about the average height and weight for a male at his age and in all sense of the word he looks fairly average. Except for his messy blue hair which is a rather odd colour of hair, whether it's natural or not is up for you to decide. His eyes a little lighter in the colour blue and despite his rather quiet appearance they hold a certain calm and gentleness to them. His pale skin is kept clean and free of blemishes, you rarely see any sort of spots on his face and it seems the 'Acne Gods' were nice as he has not been cursed by any acne. Noah has a rather youthful appearance and isn't one of those people who look older than he is, perhaps it's due to his height.
You can usually find Noah wearing a rather casual outfit, consisting of a light grey t-shirt that is perhaps a little too big for me as it appears baggy and light blue denim jeans that have some clear signs of wear and tear. A simple black belt is around his waist to, of course, hold his pants up. Noah will usually be seen with a black vest-styled jacket that is unzipped to show the blue symbol of his t-shirt, which isn't anything in particular other than a logo of a video game.
Faceclaim: PERSONA 3 • Protagonist (Male) • Noah Pierce
Personal History:
Noah was born in Vancouver, Canada to two loving parents as well as a four year old big sister. Life was fairly simple and straight forward being a child without much care in the world. His sister, Evelyn or Eve as she preferred to be called by was great. The two of them got along great and were more or less inseparable for the majority of their child days, once that got to their teenage years - for the both of them - it dropped but they still retained a close friendship to one another. Noah did just above average in school and made friends rather quickly and was relatively happy, there was something he enjoyed about going to school but he could never put his finger on it. Maybe it was the socializing with friends or learning something new or a mixture of both. However not all good things are meant to last. As Noah grew older he developed more interests in 'nerdy' things such as comic books, detailed models and video games this combined with his sisters transition to a goth caused Noah to become a target of bullying.
Whilst this didn't last a long time it still was long enough to have damaged Noah. His once cheery and happy self was shattered and replaced by a quiet and reserved individual. That once shining charisma was replaced by a dull shell of a person. In someways his sister related to him at this stage in her life and they rekindled their friendship, however Noah was never really the same. His only fortune was that his family moved to Japan which was a big shock to everyone, it turned out his parents would be transferring as English teachers to a school in Shibuya and so Noah and Eve would be finishing their school years in Japan. Eve only had two years left whilst Noah still had four years left and that was something he wasn't really looking forward to.
So the great move began and ended and during this time both Eve and Noah were somewhat trained in the Japanese language and culture so they weren't completely clueless, of course they could only learn so much and retain so much but it definitely helped when it came to school time. Noah's first day of a new school in a new country was daunting to say the least, his quiet and reserved self seemed to help him from getting into trouble. The other kids regarded him with some interest and we're quite pleasant in welcoming him to the class and from their Noah would be in high school for the next four years. Things went smoothly for him over this next part of his life, he did make friends and somewhat broke out of his shell but he enjoyed things more in Japan perhaps because a lot of his interests in video games and models were made in Japan but also the culture helped him relax, whilst it was a culture shock at first he managed to settle in and his new found friends even helped him.
It was during this time, in his last year that things would take another turn. For the worse or for the better? Who knows.
