The Way You Make Me Feel [Haru]

Tawna tilted her head at the blue-eyed dragon's theory, if only because it seemed... interesting to say the least. Humans were certainly strange in that regard, for they seemed to have this weird habit of just being highly emotional creatures. "I think Haru likes them too... or is just open to them. She went out with one once on Valentines Day..." the Ultimate idly whispered, her tail flicking abou excitably as a thought popped into her head... a mischievious one. "... Thinking what I'm thinking, Solomon?" the Meicrackmon mused as she degenerated to their Champion level, the Meicoomon having an impish smile.
"Did you say something, Tawna?" Haru briefly asked, she turning her head towards the feline with a look of confusion.
"Oh, nothing." the Champion level spoke in a monotone voice to their tamer... a mask to hide their quiet scheming. Fortunately, Haru pretty easily bought it as they went back to talking with Ayumi.
"Ohhh, I heard about that Ten Warriors thing from Mikemon... Something to do like they're the reason why Spirit Wielders exist?" the girl mused, struggling to try to figure out just where human history and Digimon history laid with one another. Spirit Wielders in general seemed like an anomaly... Humans who could become Digimon by fusing with spirits. It was bizarre even for her to imagine... "Wonder where like people like Amelie or little Waka fall there? Spirits of Delirium and Light..." she spoke, her interest captured by Ayumi. It was questions like these that kept Haru so enthralled by the Field Club as a whole... It for once made her feel smart.

Solomon coughed, as if he had accidentally swallowed something into the wrong craw. He beat his chest with his fist, throwing Ayumi out of her reverie. A-a-a-ah, you ok, Solomon??" cough "Yes, I am, worry not." cough Ayumi looked at him with concern, but then turned back to Haru. Once she was distracted again, Solomon leant back over to Tawna and whispered. "I most certainly think what you are thinking, however, Ayumi is as of yet completely unaware of any potential romantic inclination towards her own gender. I feel like a hookup would end in a disaster."
Ayumi tapped her chin. "A v-v-v-very good question! I have t-t-two theories: either the two have Ancients we have not yet discovered, or their element is Derived, like Light from Fire because Fire gives off Light, and Delirium from Wind, because Wind can make you dizzy and throw you into a Delirium... ...admittedly, my theory still has a lot of holes..."

Tawna avoided trying to chuckle at Solomon's expense, if primarily as a courtesy. Perhaps the idea of shipping Ayumi and Haru WAS a tad out there... but the feline did see some merit to in its own way. "You never know... Perhaps the plan would be to give her a gentle push then?" the feline suggested quietly... briefly licking their paw in an attempt at grooming herself.
She WAS a bit of a risk-taker like her tamer... and this seemed like a fun prospect. The question was, what angle to go at it?
Haru meanwhile was busy debating aspects about Spirit Wielders with Ayumi... they admittingly a very puzzling concept, even by Digital World. It did somewhat make sense that every other spirit was kinda derived from the 10 Warriors, though it was still just a theory. "Or Light could be just from... Light? I dunno really, Ayumi... This kinda stuff is not my forte really. I'm not really too smart, I'm kinda more the hands-on kinda girl... ya know? I take risks!"

Solomon's tone of voice did not change, neither did his expression. Yet he still seemed to give off an aura of menace. "If you do anything that upsets my partner to the point of tears I am forced to, how do you say, "tan your hide." The fact that the Meicoomon could easily out-level him by digivolving did not seem to bother him in the slightest.
"H-h-h-hey, risk-takers are usually the ones that drive progress the furthest, d-d-don't worry!" She turned back to the 3-D model, using the console to rotate it around. "B-b-b-b-but the matter of the Ancient Digimon is still a huge mystery that we must solve. Logically, we either need more fossils, or we need to find out where Warriors Ten originated...and I am pretty sure it will be a super duper dangerous place, like the Valley of Dragons or the Dark Area..."

Most probably wouldn't be able to grasp the subtle nuances of Solomon's reaction to her playful teasing of the idea of setting up their tamers together, but Tawna was aware enough of how the Monodramon acted to get how serious he was... He clearly cared for the albino, much the same way she cared for Haru; something that Tawna respected greatly. "Yeah yeah... Don't fret your head." the Champion teased, purring with a hint of excitement in her voice as her fur ruffled up slightly.
Haru couldn't help but feel a bit flustered by Ayumi's brief compliment towards her... if just because she felt those were pretty rare all things considered. She... did not have a high opinion of herself, so it was wonderful to hear from someone like her! "Well, we'll just have to go find more fossils or clues about it. Maybe we could get the others in on another expedition later?"
It was then that the lone Meicoomon in the room spoke up, hopping towards as they tugged at their skirt. "Hold up now... Haru, I get being gung-ho about wanting to help and all, but you should try to take it easy... Same for you Ayumi." the Champion level spoke, feigning a look of surprise as if they suddenly had a genius idea. "Here's a thought ~ Why not we book a trip to Whitewater in a few weeks? It could be both equal parts for science, but also a chance to relax... You both do seem like you could use a lil' vacation."
Haru's reaction was mostly innocent, they failing to catch on to their partner's ulterior motive for such a suggestion. "Ooh... that could be fun! I've not been there since this Spring! I've been wanting to try like this one new outfit I bought in Terminus a while ago ~" she cooed, glancing over to Ayumi with a dork smile on their face.

"A-a-a-ah, yeah, expeditions could shed new light on this! We ought to ask the others!" Though any further thought was interrupted by Tawna suggesting a vacation of all things! "E-e-e-eh? V-v-vacation? But..." "I agree with Tawna." Solomon had decided that Tawna's approach of a holiday was acceptable. This was not liable to drive Ayumi into a corner, or upset her. In fact, a bit of relaxation would help with the whole realization thing. "A vacation in Whitewater might be an ideal moment to combine work with entertainment. We could explore the seaside, and take it easy, too." "E-e-e-e-eh?? B-b-b-but..." Ayumi was at a loss what to say!

Perfect... No one seemed remotely suspicious of their intentions suggesting a vacation. She loved Haru to death, but the girl was just not the keenest individual... The main hurdle was now to convince Ayumi, the question being how they'd do so? "I've heard you humans have something called Karōshi, in that you literally work yourselves to death. As your partners, Solomon and I merely wish to keep you both healthy and happy... The Digital World has many beautiful locales, and we would like for you two to be able to enjoy them." the Meicoomon softly spoke, figuring that would be able to give the albino some motivation to change her opinion on the matter.
Haru of course while was still oblivious to the true nature of the two Digimons' scheming, she was however quick to agree with her partner's reasonings. Overworking was just not fun at all, and she didn't want for any of them to feel like going to the Digital World was a chore... Honestly, a vacation sounded awfully nice this time of year! It wouldn't be too long before Fall came, so this was their last real big chance to do something fun! "I mean, school is gonna start back up soon... So our time here in the Digital World is gonna probably be cut short in comparison. I think a trip to the beach there in Whitewater could be really fun! Oooh, or we could go dine! I've heard there are tons of cool spots to eat!" she ethusiastically spoke, expressing their interest in the idea. "C'mon Ayumi... We could do something fun! Just a trip tween us girls! Oh, and Solomon! He's cool too!"

Solomon nodded. Getting Ayumi to relax was, indeed, important. The girl had a tendency to be a workaholic, especially when academic things were involved. "Yes, I do not want you to get ill from overworking, too. That would not help anyone, least of all you. A holiday would be most ideal." Ayumi was running out of counter arguments here. She sighed. "Well, guess I can't really refute that...even if I will have to sit under a parasol all day so I won't get sunburnt..." The fact that Haru was so excited did improve her mood a bit, but knowing she can't be out in the sun like everyone else put a damper on the mood again. Solomon, for his part, felt honoured to be included despite being the sole male of the group. "I am most pleased that you still intend to take me along, thank you."

Haru internally squeed as Ayumi seemed to relent at the idea of the vacation, if just because it would have been much more fun to go out with a friend of two! Not that she wouldn't have gone with just Tawna, but she wanted to do something with the rest of her friends too... and an outing to Whitewater sounded fantastic! "I'm glad to hear ~ We don't get to really hang out, so it'll be fun to just sit back and unwind!"
Haru had somewhat forgotten that Ayumi was albino... They were probably the only one she knew actually, but it'd make sense that the sun isn't too healthy for them with how pale they were. Well, that shouldn't be too hard to rectify probably! "Well, we could always make sure to stay in the shade... and if we want to go swimming, we could go out at night when the sun isn't out!" she cheerfully suggested, figuring that would at least be a good enough solution. She wasn't too knowledgeable about albinos as a whole, but it seemed sensible enough. "When do we wanna do this then? I got the weekend off... So in Digital World time, that'd be two weeks here we could do it!"

Well, seems that holiday was now inevitable. Both Haru and Solomon were so on board with the idea that any words against would fall on deaf ears. And...swimming at night? That was quite the good idea actually! Though then there would be another problem. "But...But I...I..." She could not say it. It w too embarrassing. It was her secret shame, something not even Yukiko knew about! A fact so shameful, she was barely able to think it! She could not swim. As she had to keep out of the sun, she never had the opportunity to learn how to, and now she could not! How could she even explain that she, the super genius arch angel, could not swim?

Haru tilted her head in slight confusion at Ayumi as the tech wiz girl seemed to struggle trying to find what to say... Weren't they fine with those ideas? She didn't see anything wrong with going out at night if they wanted to get into the water... So what was up? "Ayumi? You okay?" the girl asked with great curiosity in her voice as she approached Ayumi a bit closer, staring at them with those sapphire blue Meicoomon-like eyes... Was there something wrong and Ayumi didn't want to say it?
Well that just wouldn't do! She considered the short albino a friend, and she wanted to make her friends feel comfortable around her! If there was something bothering them, she wanted to know what so she could maybe help! "Hey, Ayumi? If theres something wrong... You can always tell me. I'm the last one to judge, so don't worry about what I might think!" the girl giggled, reaching out towards Ayumi for a hug... Just to let them know she was there for them!
Tawna gave Solomon a slightly impish smile, nodding to the Rookie... All according to plans.

"A-a-a-ah, I am OK, r-r-r-really!" Well, she was, until the hug. Being this close to Haru, feeling her warmth, breathing in her smell...it gave Ayumi feelings she could not explain, and they were getting worse with every passing second! She began to hyperventilate from the sheer stress on her soul! "E-e-e-e-e-e-eeeheheheheheheheeheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..." Yup, that was way too much for her.
Solomon watched this, and sighed. "Emotions repressed are like steam under pressure. Do nothing to alleviate the pressure, it will keep building, until it bursts. And I think...we are experiencing the moment of bursting right now." He did not know if he should snerk or be concerned.

Haru's lithe figure gave them plenty of a grip towards wrapping their arms around the mostly slender form of Ayumi, she hugging the girl tightly. The truth was, the hug was mostly innocent... To Haru, a hug was just the best way to express your love or appreciation for someone; so it was a bit surprising to see suddenly Ayumi having an adverse reaction, causing her to release Ayumi as a look of surprise and worry appeared on her face. "A-Are you okay, Ayumi?! You were freaking out for a moment there!" the girl exclaimed in shock... clearly concerned for the petite albino's health.
Tawna was admittingly doing her best to avoid snarking at Ayumi's expense, but she almost wished she had that moment framed... the look on Ayumi's face as she was being hugged was priceless to say the least. Still, it wasn't enough... She had to get Ayumi to make the first move, because Haru won't on her own. "I hope I don't come off as rude... but remember that one girl you had that one night stand with on Valentine's Day a while ago?" the Meicoomon calmly asked Haru, figuring this needed a nudge.
"Ehhh? Alicia? Yeah, I remember... She was really sweet, but that was just for the day! What abou-" Haru for a moment questioned her partner, unsure as to what they were getting at... but soon paused, her mind blanking out.
What were they implying?

Ayumi was still dizzy when Haru let her go. This sensation...it was like when Miyu hugged her, only somehow worse! And when she regained consciousness enough to hear what was going on around her, she overheard Haru admitting she had a date, and worse, a one night stand with a -girl-?? B-b-b-but, Haru was a girl, too! D-d-d-does that mean, girls can be like...that with other girls too?? Her whole world began to spin once again! Up to this point, all her life experience had taught her that girls could only be with boys! What did she even do with this knowledge??
Solomon had to rush over and hold his dizzy tamer. "I do believe this is quite enough, Miss Tawna."

Haru's own mind was a bit of a maelstrom right now... Partly because she was not only terribly worried about Ayumi, but also because she was starting to get a grasp on what was going on here... She was quick to try to help up Ayumi with Solomon, the look on her face in a slight state of worry. "C-Calm down, Ayumi... Deep breaths. Deep breaths... Th-there is nothing to be scared of. You're safe here." the girl gently spoke to the albino, trying her best to calm their state of being.
She only had an idea of what was going on... but she did understand one thing. The cat was trying to hook them up. Haru tilted her view back to her partner, a somewhat judgemental look on her face. "Tawna, were you... Trying to get us to go on a date?" they asked, a bit on-the-edge at the moment... She was just trying to make sure Ayumi was fine.
The feline let out a glum sigh as they kicked the ground, giving the trio a blank look. "I was trying to just give you two a nudge... Mainly miss Ayumi here."
Haru merely stared at her partner with unsure eyes... She turned back to Ayumi as she gave the girl a pat on the back, trying to at least comfort them. She... didn't really take Ayumi for being the lesbian type... but they were an exceptionally nice person (and cute as a button too). Still, she didn't like the idea of pushing anything that a friend would be uncomfortable with. "I-I'm sorry Ayumi... D-Did we make you uncomfortable?"
