I ran around the corner panting trying to make sense of what was going on. I glared down at the device now in my hands. It was definitely some type of metal but now it had lost its shape and now pulsed like a heartbeat in my hand its smooth orb-like shape rippling in time with the beats. What was that woman, certainly she wasn’t human, but then, what was she? Taking a huge risk she poked her head around the corner and watched.
The woman in question was frantically running after the form of kanki and in her panic she was clumsy, and was unable to keep up, it didn’t help that a renamon now stood in her way. “Please, you have to help me.” The woman spoke looking up at the tall fox, tears visible in her eyes. “She has something that belongs to me. She has my old digivice, if I lose that then I will have nothing special.” Glancing at the tamer of the renamon she stiffened up under his gaze, his eyes frightened her. “Please, I don’t want to hurt her nor am I planning to, I just want my digivice back, can’t you understand that?” Her ears perked up as she heard a new pair of footsteps coming. She frantically wiped the tears out of her eyes and glanced at the renamon. “Hurry up and put your holosuit back on, if we are found out there are some people who would not hesitate to come after us.”

Harry kept running after the two girls, one who he still wanted to potentially date. Of course, he didn’t know fast they would be and were gaining some distance from him. The other one is a dancer, so it would make sense. The thing is, he had no idea why these two are chasing each other. Maybe this was for some strange circus performance. Or maybe the kid was just some crazy fan trying to sneak into the pink haired dancer’s tent to steal something. Well, at least Harry had a better reason for going into her tent. Regardless, he wasn’t going to let possibly his greatest date in his whole life get away from him.
Just as Rog managed to fly over and catch up to his tamer, they both lost sight to the two girls. Still, Harry kept running straight forward, hoping to be able to see them. Rog flew close to Harry. “Slow down, sir. Why are we even chasing those two?”
“Are you kidding me? And lose out on going out with that hot dancer babe? No way.” Harry said to the Missimon. Rog thought that would be what he would say. He had wish he could help him out with having more discipline and common sense.
Suddenly, Harry could see something up ahead, but it was the very last thing that he would expect. He could finally see the two girls, but there was something that looked like human sized fox in front of them. The moment he saw that, he stopped running, looked around and saw a small tent near by. He quickly hid behind there, hoping that fox thing didn't see him. He was breathing heavily, mostly from the running, but there a noticable sense of fear in him. He was shaking a bit and his eyes widened.
"W-W-Wha...What the heck is that thing?!" Harry wondered aloud, still trying to process what he just saw.
At that moment, Rog flew next to Harry, seeing his fear. He had a strange feeling when he saw that fox creature. It was hard to truly explain, but it was like that creature was the same as him and that they might have came from the same world. That was when he realized it. He looked over at Harry.
"Harry, sir...I think that's another digimon." the machine digimon said to him.
"A...Another digimon...?" Harry could really believe what he just heard.
"I can't exactly explain it. It's just a strong feeling, but I'm sure of it." Rog continued to explain.
"...Whoa...There really more digimon out there...here?...." Harry was still quite shakened. He poked his head out a bit from behind the tent, checking out the situation.
From what he could see, the fox digimon was staring down at the dancer, looking like it was going to pounce and tear her to shreds. The pink haired dancer looked like she was crying. He was a few distances away from them, so he couldn't make out what she was saying. Still, Harry knew exactly what was going on. The digimon was going to attack the dancer and she was begging it not to hurt her. Seeing this, it burned something up inside him. He shook off his fear (or at least most of it). He knew exactly what to do.
Rog tapped Harry's shoulder, interrupting his thoughts. "Sir. The situation has gotten dangerous. We better return to base, pronto."
Harry shook his head. "No way. I ain't leaving that cutie to be torn apart by that monster. We gotta save her, man...and our possible date."
Rog couldn't believe what he had just heard. It really does seem like Harry can have some bravery and leadership in him. He actually felt the same way. He didn't want to leave someone in danger either. The Missimon nodded.
"...Alright, sir. We'll do our best to save that civilian. We just need to come up with a plan...Maybe we could--"
Harry looked down and saw a long metal rod near his feet. He picked it up and ran out from the tent he was hiding behind and towards the fox digimon. "Hey, Fuzz Butt! Get away from my woman!" He yelled out at the top of his lung, going to swing the rod as hard as he could when he got close enough to the digimon.
"HARRY! What are you..." Rog exclaimed. Almost instinctly, he flew up from the tent and charged forward. He couldn't let Harry get hurt. It was his duty to protect him at all cost. Something was brewing deep inside of the in-training digimon. His eyes glowed bright red, concentating energy there. "LASER EYE!" He shouted, firing a beam of energy directly at the Renamon. He wasn't thinking and wasn't sure if it would do much damage if it hit. It really does seem like he and Harry can be more alike doing rash actions.

((sorry about that. Work decided to become crazy.))
Well that didn't take much. Not a single punch was thrown and she was already begging.
Then everything went from bad to worse. The digimon was shocked at Genesis, which complicated things, and instead of attacking she tried to explain herself, a story the duo had heard a thousand times a week. He needed some proof, sure she could be friendly now, but some digimon were about as stable as a man with schizophrenia at their best. And Viktor was unsure where this one stood, even the explanation wasn't enough.
Then out of the blue some kid rushed Genesis with a pipe, which was foolhardy to say the least, as Genesis easily stood a foot over him. But the fox wasn't responding, her more imposing human tamer was. Viktor would quickly kick the bottom of the kids toes and reach for the pipe, catching it as he tripped him up. If the kid kept rushing. If he stopped or Viktor mistimed, he'd simply take the hit or if the kid wished up he'd avoid the blow. Either way it was little to Viktor who had several pounds and inches on the kid.
The Genesis sidestepped as the the attack tore through the tent. It looked relatively weak, but she was risking nothing. Viktor would toss the kid if he caught the pipe or took a blow, assuming he continued his motions, or he'd keep him at distance if the kid wised up. Viktor stood up, hands a few inches from his chest as he assumed a fighting stance:
"Back down kid, you are biting off more than you can chew."
Genesis stood behind him, assuming a similar but slightly modified stance behind her tamer, facing the pink haired dancer as they prepared forms three way fight. Nothing new, and with lower digimon, it would be easy enough. Viktor had taken much worse attacks from digimon much levels higher, albeit he barely walked away, but comparing this was on the level of getting a bee-sting after getting shot. And with Genesis going to ultimate if it got too hot, he'd be able to make quick work here. If it got that heated,
Genesis stood to Viktor's back, feeling his shoulder blades dig into hers as they shifted, gauging their foes. This was the analyzing stage. Watching, waiting, and planning. Viktor would find spots to exploit in whatever fighting stance he took, Genesis did the same. Though she felt the equine digimon would try to explain a tad more. And without proof, to no avail. And finally, Genesis spoke to her:
"You better have some proof for me to lower my guard, or I will end you. You understand me don't you? I. Will. End you."
She waited for a reply as she stood fast, waiting for an attack as she felt Viktor do the same.
No matter what they said, this was going to get interesting.

I watched the woman begging too a fox monster and a man who had stopped her. Was the device really That special? If I walked out now and gave the device back to her I would be attacked myself.
I saw a boy and a bullet monster try to defend the woman but the man was far beyond them and they stood no chance. I couldn't move, I could only watch now.
The woman was trying to keep from crying anymore as she tried to stand her ground in the conversation.
"My name is tamourine, I've liven in the human world for years traveling with this circus. Only two humans not present know that I am a digimon, the owner of the circus and that girl which just ran off with my digivice. I can reach champion with my digivice but only once have I been able to get to ultimate." The woman explained. "If you don't believe me please just find the girl, she should have the digivice. After I get it back and if you want me too I will gladly return to the digital world,"
I couldn't take this anymore, why did this happen to me? Out of all the people in the circus why did I have to be pulled into this. I clutched the device in my hand and stepped out from behind the tent.
"Please don't hurt her!" I yelled working up the little courage that I had to stand there. "She did nothing wrong, if anything I'm the one at fault."

Harry could hardly believe what he was doing. He was facing some giant fox digimon and running at it with a pipe. Never in his weird dreams would he think that he would be doing something like this. On the one hand, it was sort of cool to be going up against this monster to save that gorgeous pink haired dancer. On the other, he was still really freaked out that something like this was happening in the first place. He couldn’t really think about it right now. Right now, he had to save his girl and be the hero.
Then, all of the sudden, Harry felt like something tripped him over, and as he was falling, someone had grabbed the pipe out of his hands. Harry turned his head and he was getting up, trying to see the klutzy jerk that tripped him. His vision was slowly coming back to him and he can see a tall man standing over him. There was a sort of familiar look to him. Meanwhile, the red beam of light that Rog shoot out at the Renamon was easily dodged and it hit at the tent close by. The Missimon cursed to himself, wishing that he trained himself better.
Once Harry got back on his feet, the man threw him back and got into some kind of fighting stance. Then the fox got behind him, doing the same stance. This made Harry a bit confused a bit, but he was slowly putting the pieces together. This was that grump old guy from the circus that Marcia was looking at. Not only that, but this fox creature was this guy’s digimon. This blew his mind for a moment. Other people have these digimon too. And his was much bigger and menacing than Rog. He had no know idea what this guy with this dancer, but he wasn’t going to let her get hurt.
“Hey, Gramps. What’s your deal? Going around and picking on a defenseless gorgeous young woman like this. Only real creeps do that, you know.” He said over at them as confidently as could. He was sure that he did a good job at that.
Rog flew over in front of Harry, glaring at the two. It seems like they were both in over their heads with this situation. Still, neither of them was going to back down and let this guy and his digimon hurt the girl. Suddenly, the pink haired dancer was talking about something that doesn’t make any sense to Harry. Maybe he was speaking out of fear or something? Then the young girl that she was chasing came out, yelling stuff out too. This was making Harry really more confused. He honestly didn’t know how he was going to get out of this mess. Harry was standing and waiting to see what would happen. If the only thing they can do is fight, then he and Rog would have step up and do it…until Harry can find some way to run away.

As soon as the fires in his mind were lit, they immediately put out by Genesis putting a hand in front of him;
"That sells it, pops. The girl who she was running from is protecting her, partners you think?"
"Without either one realizing it, most likely."
"Plan?"
Viktor rolled his neck as an audible pop echoed through the tent, "Keep an eye on those two, I can handle this."
Genesis chuckled a bit as she patted him on the back, "Are you sure 'gramps'?"
What was funny about that comment is that Viktor was technically in his late twenties, but after his escapades at the tundra, Viktor looked like he was twenty-two. Maybe to this kid he was older, but to everyone else he looked like he just graduated college. It was a little bit of a shocker at first, but Viktor was much more agile than before, and fighting him now would much tougher than when he was 'older'. And honestly, Viktor hadn't had a chance to test some more...unorthodox fighting, so a part of him was hoping that this kid would step up. Law said Viktor couldn't outright deck him in the face, lest he be charged with assault or abuse of force, but if he attacked Viktor...Well everyone had to have some level of self-defense.
"Come on then kid, why not show this 'old man' how to fight."
Viktor readied himself, widening his stance a tad while keeping a slight bend in his elbow to allow more leverage and versatility. He would wait for the kid to make the first move and react accordingly,
"Or just give in, and we'll settle this peacefully"
The older man waited for a reply, be it a calm, surrendering one, or a confrontational one. Either way, he was ready to what he needed to. [/font][/b]

I could visibly see the woman crying tears of joy as I walked out. As soon as I stopped speaking she ran up to me and started hugging me close to her body as if she was afraid I would run off again. I felt her tears hit my shoulder and I don’t know what happened, perhaps I felt sad as well, or perhaps it was something else, but I felt like I knew more about her.
“I’m sorry I ran off with our stuff, I was scared,” I said looking up at her.
“Don’t worry, I’m not mad at you, I’m just glad you came back. If I had lost that device, I don’t know what I would have done.” She cried softly, almost as if she was a mother talking too her child. She loosened her grip on me and stepped back a bit holding onto my hands. “Now that I think of it, I haven’t used that little thing in so long; it doesn’t even work anymore now that she has left me. It’s somewhat ironic if you think about it, all this trouble for something that doesn’t even work anymore.”
“Well, can’t you fix it?” I asked her looking into her sad eyes. “It’s just a device, right.”
“It’s not something that can be fixed.” She laughed quietly. “You remind me of her, so small and fragile. She left though, she found her destiny, sadly, I couldn’t help.”
“She sounds nice.”
“She was.”
I smiled looking at the woman, she seemed almost motherly. Perhaps, if I ever met her again we could become friends. Or, maybe, could we be considered friends already?
“You are much more than friends now.”
I looked up trying to figure out where the voice came from but then a glow caught my eye. The device in my hands started glowing. The woman looked upon it and look frightened, but at the same time something else. Joy?
The glow from the device took a more defined shape as an orb grew out of it and completely surrounded me and the woman. Inside the orb I could hear something. Something to faint that I couldn’t tell what it was but what happened to the woman caught my attention more.
I saw her revert back into her animal form and start growing taller. She grew more and more humanoid until only her legs looked like a horses. As soon as she stopped growing, however, she started cracking. In a burst she reverted back to her animal form in front of me with the orb around us exploding and sending off shards of light that disappeared into the air. In front of me lay the woman, this time in her animal form. And in my hands was the device, only, it had changed. It was now a pure piano black with little white music notes on it.
The woman looked tired and I saw her chest rise and fall heavily as she panted.
“I guess, I’m not able to digivolve yet.” She said laughing a bit.
