Pandora watched the human pick his first card with a veiled interest. So far Lance seemed nice enough, but what would her cards have to say about that? After his card was flipped over the fairy hovered near it to study its picture. A royal looking digimon held an item in either hand. A scale in one, and a sword in the other.
"Your first draw symbolizes how you feel about yourself in the present, and you drew the Justice card? A believer of fairness and integrity, I see." The tinkermon looked up to Lance and tilted her head to the side slightly as she studied his reaction, if any. "You like to think that so long as the idea of Justice is maintained, things will go well for you. The sword in the picture suggests that you're willing to fight for, or at least act in favor of, that train of thought. Not a bad card at all for a tamer."
Folding her arms across her chest Pandora then assumed a seated posture and leaned back even as she floated in the air above the coffee table.
"And of course, you get your first question?"

The card that he had picked first ended up being justice of all things? The human blinked a few times and inspected the card; it looked amazing something that you would wear on a shirt honestly. There was a few moments that Lance considered this card.
"Surprisingly fitting I guess.. I.. can't really argue with it."
It wasn't wrong, if things came down to it he'd do exactly what he needed to keep Justice in things. He would love to have the strength to help others and keep them safe too. The young man sighed and leaned back slightly frowning after a few long moments.
What question was he going to ask?
He stared at pandora for a few long moments before scratching his head. He didn't know much about how things worked with digimon or how things worked in... The young man blinked and leaned forward looking incredibly interested.
"...Where do digimon come from? Like. I know they don't live in the human world but I don't really know where they come from naturally."
He'd look down at his digivice, frowning softly as he saw the image of that digimon again walking to some place. But it was joined with a couple others that looked much like it. He'd sigh softly and pocket the thing before looking up at pandora again.
"That and I just... don't really know how to address that either; I feel like I'm going to meet more of you guys too. Should I treat them any differently? Or should I just... treat them like I do humans? I mean like. You guys aren't humans; but you still should have the same rights as we do right?"

It was strange, seeing this quiet young man agree with the card he drew. A righteous crusader was not the impression Pandora had gotten from him back in the gas station, even if he did want to make her pay for what she stole. Still, she waited patiently for his question. When he did lean forward to ask something, Pandora found herself leaning back slightly in the air. She didn't recoil out of fear, but rather in disbelief.
"Where do we.. come from?" The tinkermon gave him a skeptical look at first, even glancing down at the digivice he brought out. It made Pandora wonder just how new this human was to the idea of being a tamer. Lance went on to go on a tangent, making the fairy blink several times as she was steamrolled by a topic that had no right to be in a quick Q&A session.
"Huh?" exclaimed the digimon as she put her hands on her hips and leaned forward, staring up at Lance with a reluctant expression. "H-hey now, that's no fair! That's more than one question!" She said that, but Pandora sighed and shook her head as she folded her arms across her chest. The next look she gave Lance was a studious one, as if she were carefully choosing her next words.
"I'll let you go on this one since you really are new. Just like how you humans come from the human world, we digimon come from the digital world. We're not human, no, but what's that gotta do with human rights or anything? People are people. How you treat anyone is based upon your experiences with them, isn't it?" She paused with another sigh, looking away for a moment as something else came to mind. When she did look back to the human it was with a somewhat defensive stare.
"I'm not saying every digimon can be reasoned with, and there are those who don't believe in peace. But even if we're not human we're still the same, y'know?"

The human gave pandora a small nod at her repetition of his intial question. Because honestly he hadn't a clue where the digimon themselves came from and the fact his digimon hadn't shown up yet had to mean something right? Lance however returned that skeptical look with an somewhat nervous smile.
"S-sorry...."
He'd apologize after a few moments and then rub his neck awkwardly as she explained out things in the best way she could. Everything she said made sense and spoke of her own experiences somewhat. However at the very final part she'd give him a rather defensive look mixed with a really ominous statement that left lance shifting awkwardly in his seat.
"That makes sense. Erm... Sorry about that. Next card?"
He'd quip and shift on the couch staring at pandora curiously. So if she came from a completely different world than the human one how did she even manage to get here? It was something he was going to ask but wasn't expecting an answer for it. He'd consider something briefly but simply push it aside. It wasn't the time or place for that kind of thinking anyways... It was a touch too negative after all!

When asked about the next card Pandora nodded. It flipped itself over to reveal an angelic digimon blowing a long trumpet, and beneath that were several other digimon standing up from open coffins with their arms raised.
“The Judgement card,” explained Pandora as she leaned back to take a seat in the air while steepling her hands together, “..symbolizing what you’re looking for right now. You have some decision making to do, and Judgement Day is fast approaching! Is it a new start that you want? An awakening from what feels like a dead end? Every end brings about a new beginning, but you still must initiate that transition all the same.”
The tinkermon’s gaze shifted down from Lance’s eyes, lowering to the pocket he stuffed his digivice into. She wondered who the human’s partner would be. More importantly, how long was he going to keep them waiting?
“Opportunities will reveal themselves to you, and past personal convictions that you’ve held onto will be rewarded. Sticking to your guns could prove beneficial in the long run, especially since some decisions will bring about long lasting impacts on your life.” As she said that Pandora returned her stare back up to Lance’s eyes. What she had just said had silently raised her interest in the human as well. He was being very kind to her, and to others apparently. The implications her reading could mean for her own interactions with Lance did not go over her head. It was a thought that would remain unspoken, though.
“Alright, you get another question. Just one question,” she said as she rested her hands in her lap, still seated in the air.
