Naoko kept her struggle up, hoping something would eventually give. Eventually, she opted to slip her D-3 free from it's cradle and active the baton program in it before attempting a sharp THWACK at the Hunter! If that'd distract it a little or free her or something, that'd be REAL NICE.
As Titania and Tawna gave chase, bombs were deployed to slow them down, and Tawna deployed her own countermeasures. Titania soared up and forwards, pausing very briefly to close her wings, both on her back and on her head, before she unfurled them to fire several of her feathers as dart-like projectiles, the tips of them gleaming as though they were backed by something that could easily pierce most hides! "Wind! OF! PAIN!"
The darts would hopefully fly through the smoke of the also hopefully detonated mine trio and towards the Hunter! Did this run the risk of harming the humans a little?
Uh...A little bit. This was why they were mostly fired in a cone-shape. Unless the Hunter wanted to maybe hold them out to get struck by the feathers, it was very likely a good portion of them would miss the humans, while the ones aimed for the Hunter had a bigger chance of hitting.
Titania was really focused, right now. So...She barely noticed Fladramon. If at all.
If anything both she and Naoko just regarded him as the source of the fire.
The Shutumon continued to give chase.

Ugh, noisy humans!
As the MeiCrackmon attempted to gain more distance on her pursuers, both Haru and Naoko proved to be quite the active hostages: Haru thought it wise to try and tell Tawna what she was trying to do, while Naoko, more directly, tried to beat at her side with some sort of conjured baton. The latter earned the cat's ire, the grip around Naoko's sides tightening in an effort to try and dissuade her from that - or, perhaps simply cause a sudden jolt of pain that would make her drop the baton altogether.
Past that? Tawna proved to be a ruthless pursuer, and through the smoke, Shutumon's feathers whistled on through. Wide a cone as it was, a few sunk into her back, earning a hiss through the teeth of the beast - but as it was, at least one would likely connect with the hostage held behind. Right now, the MeiCrackmon's mind was racing - should she stand and fight, or...
... Or... oh, hello, Fladramon. Seeing the fire type once again - and wanting nothing to do with someone who could burn through her forest like that - she grit her teeth at the presence of such a strong data signal, and with her free claw, slashed forward, away from her chasers. Torn through space, a red portal opened up, a thick wireframe border surrounding the gate - and perhaps more to the dragon's interest, the other side of it would glow a stark red, and illuminate the side wall of this space. There stood a 'lens' in the shape of Sakkakumon's eye, very similar to the gate that he had come through - meaning it was either an exit or an unrelated door.
In either case, the MeiCrackmon tried to slip right on in, definitely wanting to put as much distance as she could between herself and the attackers! Log:
Hunter tightens her grip on Naoko, and uses Rift to try and move herself away from the two pursuers and to distance herself from the foreign mega!

Haru's hopes were anewed somewhat seeing Tawna manage to react accordingly, destroying the mines that her captor had set out with sufficient ease... Enough time to have Titania launch an attack at them!
Oh wait...
A few of the feathers managed to land their mark on the Hunter, but the way Haru was positioned while being held by their tail ended up having her in the crossfire too... Thankfully it was just a single feather, but a single feather shot at the velocity that the Shutumon had still hurt like bloody hell... Haru flinching as she bared her teeth and made a pained sound.
Tawna certainly took notice... a slight echo of such pain afflicting her. She flashed a bit of a harsh look at Titania, though it was clear it was more out of concern for their partners' safety. "Watch where you are aiming those feathers!" she barked, though her attention was soon drawn
The hell was this guy's problem? A clear kidnapping, yet here he is acting all casual? What WAS this guy's deal? Was he friend, or foe? Here she had thought she was the sociopathic one... Regardless, Tawna followed Titania (and even the Hunter's) examples of mostly ignoring the Mega level... If he wasn't going to do anything to help, he should at least try to not be in the way! She didn't have time to go around messing with any arsonists... not while her partner's life was on the line... Which speaking of.
"You are not getting away!" the Ultimate level screeched out to the second Meicrackmon, adrenaline filling their mind with hostile thoughts as her mind was focused on getting the girls back and killing this skank of a Meicrackmon. Seeing them attempt to rip open a portal to try and escape, Tawna responded with a portal of her own to try and close in that distance... hopefully with just enough time to dip into the Hunter's Rift and tackle into her fellow Meicrackmon. It was a bit of a gamble, but this really was her only realistic shot at keeping the chase on.
Haru was hit by a stray feather from Wind of Pain. Tawna used Brane Hopper to try and close the distance between her and Hunter, attempting to use Hunter's Rift to follow. If successful, she'd try to tackle them down.
Brane Hopper - Meicrackmon is capable of tearing holes through space itself, allowing her to more or less as a free-action teleport short distances even in mid-combat. They are also able to be used to extend the range of her attacks (though other attacks will rupture them entirely) or to assist in dodging an attack. The only real limitations of this ability is that she can only rip about two holes a turn, one entry hole and one exit hole. (Cooldown: 2 Post)

Naoko was rearing her arm up for another swing of the digivice-baton before a sudden wave of pain, one caused directly by the Hunter's grip tightening, caused her to let out a sharp yelp. Man, that...actually hurt. A lot. Naoko wasn't really sure if she should keep striking at the cat with her Digivice. If she did, she'd definitely risk losing it.
Titania's tunnel vision continued. Though, she winced at her...error in judgement. Lapse. Whatever. "Apologies..." She replied, before a glimmer of red crossed her eyes.
She had activated her Blood Frenzy, and as the Hunter used her rift to gain some distance between the two other Ultimates, Tawna had attempted to give chase.
Titania would also pursue her. Albeit, by soaring a little higher. If Tawna's gamble worked, she'd likely have a lot of noise to follow. Neither seemed to have any intent of allowing the chase to end.
Grace of the Queen - Maniac: Every turn that passes by while a bleed effect is on an opponent allows Titania a passive regeneration.
Flying Fairy: Every three turns, Titania can toggle a piercing effect for whichever move she’s using.
Titania activates:
Blood Frenzy: Shutumon’s claws gain a very keen and sharp edge for three turns, giving all of her attacks the bleed effect. It damages over time. Leaking data is bad. The bleed lasts for two turns and it doesn’t stack up. Three turn cooldown.
Then she flies up and hopes to god Tawna's gamble with rifts works.
Naoko meanwhile is in pain. Owwwwwwww.

Good - at least one annoyance was out of the way. That little squeeze was all that it took to dissuade Naoko from using that annoying baton, though that was also the least of the beast's worries. With the rift torn open in front of her, and with Titania taking to the skies, that left the Meicrackmon with one opponent to deal with:
Tawna. Unlike the other two 'passive' fighters, her 'fellow MeiCrackmon' thought it wise to suddenly close the distance, and try and outright tackle Hunter! Barely giving a glance over her shoulder at those words, Hunter's eyes widened at the suddenly-closer feline, Tawna successfully giving a pounce onto the beast - both tumbling through the rift, and out the other side! Still, Hunter managed to turn around on the spot, literally flinging Naoko off to the side as she was tackled. Haru, meanwhile, would still be caught in the grip of that tail, as Hunter gave a fierce growl...
"You're the one not getting away!" At that note, her other two tails gave a flick, stretching out to her sides before stabbing in, intent on piercing the MeiCrackmon's torso - one at her left, and one at her right! Her now free hands moved to try and simply grapple around the other Meicrackmon, not wanting to give her an inch of room from this attack.
After all, with Hunting Game still in play, this MeiCrackmon was peckish...
Log:
Hunter, tackled by Tawna, flings Naoko to the side to free the use of both of her arms, and attempts to convert the tackle to a grapple!
Hunter uses 'Vicious Sting' to try and stab at Tawna's sides!
Vicious Sting: The MeiCrackmon uses her tails, stabbing into her victim with up to three points, stabbing in with a poison designed to cause enhanced pain. If the opponent is under the effect of Hunting Game, this can also be used to directly load a form.

Lets be real... Tawna's strategy was more a lack there-of, she barely thinking barreling through the rift with the Hunter as they discarded Naoko... the two Ultimates crashing into one another, Haru somewhat caught in the cross-fire between the ball of violence.
If there was one saving-grace Haru thought, it was that with her being held hostage... the Hunter was being forced to fight with one less limb. Still, tumbling around like that was not at all a fun experience, she feeling her partner's intense anger and determination to free her... something that urged her to continue struggling against the grip that the Hunter had on her.
Tawna's pouncing while was somewhat effective... it left her very wide-open, primarily since a new factor would soon dawn on her... the Hunter's tendrils weren't just tendrils, they were full-blown stingers. While managing to grab hold of one of with a hand (causing some of her weight on the Hunter to slack) before it was able to stab into her, she was too late to evade the second as it plunged into her.
It HURT... but not because of the poison, but because she legit a damn stinger pierced into her flesh; she feeling something sapped straight out of her, replaced by something vile. Unfortunately perhaps for the Hunter, not vile enough for Tawna... the purple markings on her body glowing intensely as her eyes gleamed, she flashing her teeth. While not enough to outright fix the damage being caused... it was enough to give Tawna a surge of vitality to push back.
"PISS OFF! Manticore Sting!" she yelled, her own tail attempting to take advantage of the Hunter's limbs being occupied... aiming a sting RIGHT at their belly. Tawna was somewhat banking off the possibility that her foe didn't share a poison immunity as well... but hopefully it would hit hard enough to force the Hunter to lose their concentration and give her a chance to save Haru.
Tawna managed to stop one of the tails from Vicious Sting, but was still stabbed by the other and dealt a painful wound. The poison of Vicious Sting proved to be ineffective thanks to her Corruption-Eater, giving Tawna a small surge of vitality instead. Tawna has aimed a Manticore Sting at the Hunter.
Haru's just trying to squirm.
[PASSIVE] Corruption-Eater - [RAM UPGRADE GIGA] - This Digimon's data has been irrevocably altered in a manner that latches onto the concepts of chaos and normally toxic anomalies, nullifying their dangers to the point that they benefit from them. Foreign debilitating status effects like poison or corruption-style effects have no negative effect on her, in fact healing her for any damage they'd normally inflict or if they were a normal poison status effect otherwise. Appropriately, normally toxic substances are of no harm to her. An additional effect has left all of their forms as Virus attribute.
Manticore Sting - A last-ditch, but deadly technique of Meicrackmon's. Utilizing her stinger, Meicrackmon attempts to brutally gouge a foe and inject a lethal dose of corrosive venom. Immobilizes initially for 1 turn while inflicting a 3-turn poison, the poison damage significantly increasing the more wounded the foe is. While she only has so much venom, against an already weakened foe that dose may be all that’s needed. (Cooldown: 3 Turns)

Naoko felt like things were becoming familiar to how a few days ago played out. She wasn't expecting to be so readily discarded by the Hunter, though it was probably a good thing that she was. She landed with a thud and a roll, but found herself getting back to her feet...to see Titania flying in the direction of Tawna's yelling.
If there was one thing she'd admit her partner was actually good at? It was intuition. She ran after her (much faster) digimon. Speaking of, Titania would ready her claws, specifically her right hand, and fly towards the commotion. Once there, she'd make a swift descent with a cry of "Gilgamesh Slicer!" And make a rather quick attempt to sink her claw...into the face of the Meicrackmon.
It was pretty clear what her favored use of this move was.
Meanwhile, Naoko ran towards the scene with as much as her legs could give her. This...was going to be tough.
Grace of the Queen - Maniac: Every turn that passes by while a bleed effect is on an opponent allows Titania a passive regeneration.
Flying Fairy: Every three turns, Titania can toggle a piercing effect for whichever move she’s using.
Naoko is YEETED and suffers a few bruises and scrapes. Oof. Meanwhile, Titania tries to catch up to the two (with WINGS) and Gilgamesh Slicer the Hunter in the face!
Literally!

Up until this point, Tawna and Hunter had been running from about the same level of 'fuel'. After all, they were both MeiCrackmon: despite their different abilities, they had about the same level of power to play with. This was true... until that single tail managed to stab deep into Tawna's side. Though the poison had little effect, Hunter didn't truly care, the appendage briefly glowing white as a rather potent strain of fractal code slipped right over to her.
The effects were near instant: the MeiCrackmon's claws expanded and gained the purple nails of a Raguelmon, her central tail - the one that had just stabbed Tawna - taking on a black color with a very sharp purple stinger at the end. With Tawna already pulling one arm off to grab at the other tail, it was little issue for Hunter to shove one of those new claws between them, and - with a surprising amount of power - simply push off the ultimate-level that tried to pin her down.
Just as she would try and stand up, though, that Manticore sting would drive home, Hunter wincing in pain as that stab drove deep. Coupled with a nasty slash over her face - one that the MeiCrackmon barely managed to move her head away from, or it would have been even worse - Hunter found herself in a pinch. Rather then let Haru go, however, the grip of that tail tightened around, as the cat pivoted on the spot, and gave a leap back towards the woods.
She was trying to get away - and with a glance over her shoulder, she'd do whatever she could to try and make that a reality! "Laser Circus!" With one tail occupied by Haru, the number of lasers fired were eight instead of ten, though the two that came from her tail now held a distinct purple color, hotter and more 'explosive' than the rest! Those were the only blasts that Hunter had centered, aiming one towards each of the ultimates - the other six cast around behind her like a net, dissuading anyone to try and simply jump or fly over to her.
In that same motion, a small portal opened in front of her, to try and immediately put her in the thick of the woods - Cosmic Journey!
Log:
Hunter has loaded Raguelmon. Her grade improves to Mega, and she acquires 'Cosmic Journey' at all levels.
At mega, the immobilizing effect of Manticore Sting is lessened, though her midsection is still heavily damaged, and face bleeding. She attempts to move away, using Laser Circus to both attack and cast a defensive net, as well as 'Cosmic Journey' to increase the distance.

A solid blow to counter the Hunter's own sting... and quickly followed by a brutal slash on the face thanks to Titania Normally this would have been a good thing, but Tawna's own worries and doubts had came true regarding the feeling of something important stolen from her. Those fears were only reassured as Tawna with horror in her eyes saw the Hunter take on very familiar aspects of Raguelmon... she feeling their strength grow as they threw her right off, and painfully too.
Haru was growing increasingly desperate, matching that of her partner. The situation was getting bad, she could tell... and that horrid grip the Hunter had on her only tightened, she letting out a pained yelp as she felt her spine being pressured. "T-Tawna... N-Naoko... HELP!" she managed to yell, though already the Hunter was doing whatever they could to make that possibility impossible.
Tawna stumbled trying to pick herself back up... She couldn't let this monster get away with Haru! She needed to Biomerge with her if they were going to have a chance to stop this... this abomination! For a moment Tawna paused... trying to will herself to Digivolve... but no change happened. She couldn't Digivolve to Raguelmon.
No.. It couldn't have been...?
The Ultimate's face was nothing more but sheer panic now, especially realizing their chance at counterattacking was now lost as the Hunter was already making an escape as they launched a volley of lasers... more ferocious than before. Tawna coldsweat as she was forced to jump back, away from the blasts as they exploded violently... realizing her mistake as she saw the Raguelmon-like Meicrackmon escape through yet another portal. "...! No!"
Tawna lost the Mega level Raguelmon form, she easily thrown off by the Hunter. She manages to get back onto her feet and evade the blasts, but is unable to follow.

Things were moving pretty fast.
Uncomfortably so. Titania managed to close in and inflict damage, evidenced by blood(?) running down the Hunter's face, but she had managed to strip Tawna of something, given how her form changed. It was evident now what that thing she did earlier did.
And this also illuminated something, you couldn't allow yourself to be hit, no matter what.
This had also turned into an uncomfortably familiar scenario for her. A rage-inducing one.
...
Titania took off, barreling to the side in order to avoid the Laser Circus before the Perfect-level began to briefly glow with a literal whirlwind of colors, and a figure appeared to her side. A woman with a rapier, wearing armor and with a golden crest, and a multicolored plumed helm.
Otherwise known as AncientIrismon--Or a figure of her, at the very least. The apparition flew with Titania, readying an attack while Titania herself growled. "I won't allow you to escape so easily! Rainbow Symphony!" That...was more of a yell than anything.
And the apparition let her attack loose. Seven lasers, all colored differently and aimed solely at the Hunter. No, really, they had been aimed away from the tail holding Haru. This also had the side effect of causing what was basically a literal cage of lasers to be made when one took Laser Circus into account!
This was also done with the hope of hitting her before she could escape into the portal. So this also meant there was a chance of the attack going wide...
Naoko meanwhile heard the cry of "Rainbow Symphony!" and opted to run for cover, this was probably not gonna end well. It's worth noting she hadn't quite gotten to where they -were- yet, but...
There wasn't any cover. And her sister still needed her help. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god.
The girl was practically frozen.
Grace of the Queen - Maniac: Every turn that passes by while a bleed effect is on an opponent allows Titania a passive regeneration.
Flying Fairy: Every three turns, Titania can toggle a piercing effect for whichever move she’s using.
To summarize, Titania dodges, gives chase, and uses this to try harming the Hunter before she can escape, otherwise she's good to go.
Invocation - Rainbow Symphony [RAM Upgrade Plus]: Titania calls upon the power of the ancient ten warriors--specifically AncientIrismon, and an image of the Ancient Bird Man appears above and behind her before unleashing her Rainbow Symphony attack, a colorful barrage of seven lasers that heat up and melt through whatever they touch. The power of the attack however is limited to which form it’s used in, meaning that if it’s used at Champion, it’s only got the power of a champion behind it and so on with Ultimate and Mega. This has a four turn cooldown, no matter what form it is used in.
Naoko is panicking.
As Titania hasn't taken damage yet, her passive regen from the bleed isn't...really doing a lot.

"Tch!"
Damn it, how was that flying one so agile? The MeiCrackmon, taking one glance over her shoulder, saw that attack move right on point. Whatever this 'Rainbow Symphony' was, the feline knew that it was going to hurt - but if she delayed her sprint, she'd be forced to forgo using the portal created by Cosmic Journey. That would have meant even more problems, so instead, the MeiCrackmon grit her teeth, ducked down, and sprinted forward.
With that last burst of speed, three lasers managed to burn right into her side, but the feline wasn't knocked off course by just that: whipping right through, and Haru in tow, Hunter would vanish right into the portal, closing a moment later.
The hectic battlefield soon fell silent...
"Damn it..." Ugh, wasn't this a joy? The moment that the feline stepped through the portal, the MeiCrackmon craned a claw back, and attempted to get a grip right over Haru's face - though this was just in an effort to keep her from crying out and giving away her position. Taking a perch on a rather sturdy branch, well out of sight of Titania, Tawna, and Naoko, the feline grit her fangs. Her free claw clutched over her stomach, blood streaming down her face, the burns singed into her flank.
Clearly, Hunter was hurt - but more than anything else, there was an 'itch', ever since she had taken hold of Raguelmon's form. Yes, there was a significant burst of power... but why did it feel incomplete? It felt like there was so much more that she could have tapped into, so why did it feel like scraping into a brick wall? That 'untapped edge' pecked at the back of her head...
... Until it 'clicked'. A small shudder of 'aha' rippled through her, as the cat looked down to that very hostage, held in her tail and claw - the red eyes of the MeiCrackmon staring into the blue of a 'Meicoomon'. She gave a low growl, the cat's hunger starting to perk:
It was her. She had the rest - and as with Tawna, Hunter shared no pretense or warning of her actions. No: her hands would simply move to grasp around Haru's sides, before lunging forth towards Haru's shoulder - to give a full bite across her torso. Hunter didn't hold back, and if she managed that bite, she wouldn't let go, either: any data that leaked from those wounds would instantly turn blue, drawn straight through to Hunter's frame.
A moment after that, a 'normal' tail arched from behind - a second effort made to stab the tamer, right in the back...

Tawna dashed forward... a vain effort to try and reach for her tamer in time before the enemy Meicrackmon could escape with them, but there was nothing she could do. All the Ultimate level could see was the Hunter escaping with their prize, the seven beautiful rays of light sent forward by Titania unable to halt them from escaping into the portal... HER OWN type of portal. The only things that were left were the girl's aviator helmet (which had fell off) plus a torn utility belt... complete with her Digivice and cards still there.
By the time she managed to get to where the pair had been... it was too late. Tawna's red-schlera widened as a look of fear shivered down her spine, she in a panic shifting her head around trying to find any sign of the Hunter and Haru... but they were just gone. Gone. "Where is she... WHERE IS SHE?!?" the feline began to screech, her voice shrill and filled with a primal fear unlike any other.
Tawna's cries were heard... but Haru? She was in no condition to scream back... not while having her mouth covered by the Raguelmon-like Meicrackmon, her screams absorbed by their palm. She was trying to scream with every bit of air in her body... but to no avail. She felt useless... weak... and ultimately, she was terrified beyond belief.
She wanted to try and push the feline off her... Try to reason with them. None of this had to happen... She didn't WANT to fight. Yet... as her captor turned to her, the girl's azure-blue eyes dilated as she quivered... Haru managing to let out a single yell as tears began to leak from her eyes, a horrific pain enveloping her entire being as she felt what were knives stab down into her flesh.
Was this hell? It felt like it... Haru's heartrate grew unstable as her breathing became pained, the shock of the pain and ensuing bloodloss being too much for her petite frame to handle.
The pain dulled away soon enough though... even as she felt another sharp implement stab into her back. Her vision had already gone blurry, and soon dark... A mercy perhaps as one by one, her senses faded away; the world around her going murky.
Her greatest regret and last thoughts...? That she was about to die alone.
A dying human was not the only one to feel pain... Tawna feeling every phantom echo of Haru's pain, she screaming bloody murder as the Ultimate level was forced to her knees... tears running down her face. Haru's tears.
And then... the pain went away. As if it never had been there. Tawna went eerily silent, her eyes widened into a pained look... not from what her body felt, but what her heart did... the horror of realizing what just happened.
Haru had passed away.

They couldn't do it. It was that simple.
Titania's Invocation had hit the Hunter but it didn't do anything to stop her from leaving with Haru. What was once rage had been quickly replaced with dread. Naoko had come running by now. "W-Where did sh--..." And as Titania landed, both tamer and Digimon glanced towards where Haru's goggles were.
Naoko was shaking right now. This was no joke or thinly-veiled jab at anything. She was actually shaking in every amount of fear that could be present in one place, every bit of anxiety dripping out of the girl. Tawna's screaming did not do anything to dissuade this. "W-What's happening? W-Where is she...?"
Titania remained silent as she watched Tawna scream in what seemed to be pain. She had been told of the bond between Tamer and 'Mon before...Was...Was this one example of it?
And then? And then, everything went silent.
Silence.
One could swear a pin was being dropped in the distance.
"T-Tawna...?"
Titania's eyes widened as she realized that look on Tawna's face. "...Naoko...I...I thi-..."
And then something hit her. A wave of...something. Something awful. Naoko had seen that look too. Naoko had discerned what that look had likely meant. Titania almost doubled over, falling to a knee in what seemed to be pain. "T-Toriya, I -know- what you're thinking..." She managed. "B-But losing your cool's...not going to help anyone..."
"Tawna. What happened?"
Naoko seemed...eerily calm for someone who looked like she was about to burst into tears. Or blow a gasket. Or...Or both, the girl slowly moving to pick up the belt, and the goggles. She was staring at them. Titania was slowly starting to be enveloped by...by something.
It looked like rust. And it didn't seem at all pleasant for her.

Haru's only cry out to the world was a short scream, from that first bite, and of course the struggle against the mega's grip - but Hunter was hardly burdened by a mere human's efforts to struggle. To the tamer, it might have felt like an agonizing amount of time, but it was a sensation that lasted perhaps a full ten seconds or so.
Ten seconds was all it took for Haru to be reduced to data in Hunter's arms, the entirety of it drawn into Hunter's core. The mega gave a low growl, feeling that energy disburse itself: the wound in her stomach started to close, and the burns on her side ached just a touch less. But, it didn't make her feel less on edge - it was more a sensation of 'that's it?!'. Even like this, the Raguelmon data didn't feel complete - maybe the form was damaged to begin with?
"I'll make it work..." Muttering to herself, and setting that blue garb up further in the tree, Hunter once more started to move, silently hiding within the canopy. To her, this was just one... but if they came out into the woods? Well, the MeiCrackmon might have two more to load. Their only saving grace was that large, burnt circle - it wasn't really possible for Hunter to approach.
Not yet, anyway.
Log:
Hunter has loaded Haru's data. However, this did not 'complete' Raguelmon's form, only lightly healing her wounds and providing about the benefit of loading a rookie.

A whistle was released a little above the hiding, mega level cat, revealing the position of the perched dragon man.
"I gotta say, that never happens." He commented; he had never actually seen a human... well, die to their own stupidity. Usually things just seemed to... work their way. "... But whatever. Onto something more important; I'm a lil' bit lost, miss." He commented, standing up. "You see, I'm looking for something. And I'm wondering if that something might be found somewhere in this big ol' bible rip off."
It was a... not-so-long shot? If that statue Owlmon and Sagittarimon had spoken of was going to be anywhere in the godforsaken desert, the one point of interest currently inhabiting it seemed like a good place to start. Armored Core's network of informers wasn't omniscient, but if such an operation had been going on for longer than a week he liked to think Owlmon would have had him and Sagittarimon fully informed by now.
"So, let me ask ya straight. Is a statue with a some big, smug looking, self righteous digimon somewhere inside this big, ugly labyrinth?"
