Tawna's face was deathly still; locked in a position of horror and realization at the circumstances that happened. It was the first time the Meicrackmon had ever felt something like this... No, second. That familiar feeling of despair when it felt like your world has come crashing down, the light of your life snuffed out before your very eyes. She would have tried to deny it, but there really was no lying to one's self or others now, for Tawna knew deep down in her Digicore what had happened.
"Haru died." they murmured in response to Naoko, almost mechanically. The feline was no stranger to death... her life had always revolved around it; yet none has ever hurt quite like this. Digimon or not, someone very dear and special to her had been taken away from her without warning... It felt unreal. Unfair even.
If there was ever anyone who deserved to die, it was her... But Haru? Haru was innocent. A delicate bloom in a world of corruption, wilted callously by the actions of another.
The Ultimate level felt disconnected from the world around her... Her senses felt dulled, unable to comprehend the intense feelings she was subject to. She knew she had the right to be angry... Furious. Berserk. Yet... her mind blanked. Wiped into a pristine silence. It was hard to be angry when you've died inside. She took a moment to breathe in a breath of air, the first since the manic fit started... The storm in her mind becoming an ominous calm, it settled on a new plan.
She refused to allow this future to happen.
There should have been no well of power to draw energy from... Yet, Tawna's form glew as it was enveloped in a cocoon of fractal code, inside her textures peeling off as her wireframe rearranged itself; the cocoon exploding off to reveal the larger form of a human-like decadent angelic figure with feline-like features.
The Rasielmon only sadly gazed at Naoko, a look of understanding on Tawna's face as she recognized all too well that the circumstances about to happen were unavoidable. She only now had one goal though...Reclaim what was hers and enact justice.
The Mega level soon calmly walked into the woods and away from Naoko and the clearly in-pain Titania, almost as if in a trance... their gold Digizoid armor taking on the color of blue slowly. What was to happen next was unavoidable, the outcome unclear... But there will be an outcome.
Tawna defied fate and has Digivolved to the Mega level, Rasielmon. She has walked into the forest, alone. She is preparing for a Element Cipher to the Water element 2 turns from now.
[PASSIVE] - Element Cipher - Rasielmon's armor radiates power magic that mimics the power of the 10 Elements to enhance her attacks. Rasielmon's attacks deal a moderate amount of extra damage by being infused with elemental properties of a single element (Rasielmon defaulting to Light and indicated by a color change of the Digizoid of her armor to match the element). She can freely change the copied element at any time once per turn, though it has a delay of taking 2 turns from the initial desire to change elemental for the change to proc (the armor changing slowly from color to color during this time). The following elements can be copied alongside corresponding color changes... Fire - Red Light - Gold Wind - Purple Thunder - White Ice - Cyan Darkness - Black Earth - Brown Wood - Green Water - Blue Metal - Gray

Haru died.
Those words seemed to hang in the air for Naoko. She simply held the goggles in her hands and stared at them. The last memory she had of her sister. Something was welling up within the girl. Something venomous, blistering, caustic in nature.
Something -painful- for Titania, who began to let out a pained wail as whatever was happening to her--the rust, began to accelerate in it's gradual covering of the Shutumon, who doubled over as she began to glow with the same light that signified a Digivolution for the duo. Yet...it wasn't the same. Something was different.
And yet it was all silent for Naoko. As Tawna digivolved to Rasielmon and Titania writhed in pain, a pain that she felt too, she found her feet moving and following the Mega level to the forest as she clutched her side. If there was to be any closure for this?
The Hunter was going to meet her end. It did not matter if she died in the process. This was something she was going to ensure.
And what's interesting?
A wish can be a very powerful impetus. An impetus to cause progress. Evolution. Warped as it may be? Naoko wished for something and the bond between the tamer and the digimon was bent on making it happen. Naoko had been spacing out. Quite a bit. But something brought her back to reality. She looked at her digivice briefly, noting that it had been glowing before shutting off entirely.
She looked like she wanted to kill someone.
And it didn't scare her.
A mechanical, strained and distorted -roar- sounded out. A roar that Naoko found herself screaming with. It was barely recognizable as Titania. It was something far, far worse that had replaced her partner. A gargantuan, rusted bird-like creature made of metal--rusted metal. Whatever it was, it began to stomp in the direction of the woods, raspy heaving that was far too strained to be called breathing emitting from it. It looked like it was supposed to have digizoid armor, yet...
Such was not the case.
Crossmon Iris had arisen.
Wrong, sure. Unnatural? Maybe.
But it had come.
And it had a wish to grant.
Naoko's anger has given rise to a mega level. Forcibly.
Prismatic Terror: Every time Titania makes use of Mystic Break, the next move used after it will have an additional effect stated below the move. The exceptions are any moves with the Invocation prefix.
Silver Mountain: Crossmon Iris is armored from HEAD TO TOE in Digizoid. 20% flat damage reduction.
You’re Mine: With each successive attack that Crossmon Iris launches against a single opponent, it grows in power. 10% increments and it caps at 30%. This resets if she targets anything else.
Avatar of Storms: As combat goes on, Crossmon Iris builds up an aura of wind around it, increasing it’s speed by ten percent each turn until it hits 30%. Certain moves are capable of being bolstered in power by forfeiting these stacks.
Combat has not resumed yet, has it?
Crossmon Iris is moving to the forest. It wants blood.

Right, Hunter just had to - "... Tch!"
Dammit, who was there? Craning her neck up, the MeiCrackmon seemed tense - only to find the sight of that rather evasive dragon type hanging from above him. Her grit fangs of frustration switched to that of annoyance. It seemed, at least for the moment, that the 'avatar' had little interest in actually fighting her - only for that dragon statue that the General had dug up earlier. She was about to spit up a response - but the feeling of two sudden mega data signals cropping up caught her attention much faster than that. 'Just like that', it seemed that the tables were turned against her, but from Hunter's hidden position, she still had time to consider her options.
"That it? I'll be honest, only those with my permission can use the path to get in further. But I'm not about to just give that up for free. Help me out and I might be a bit more easy to persuade."
Assistance or not, the MeiCrackmon couldn't simply back down from this. Slipping across to another tree as the two would approach, Hunter let out her own spike in data signal: her fur stood on end for a brief moment, a red glint crossing across her eyes. The claws tensed, and everything about her just seemed a touch more dangerous.
"Come and play with me, little kitty..."
Log:
Hunter uses 'Hunting Mode'.

Fladramon hummed at the nonresponse, crossing his arms over his chest. He couldn't feel energy, but he could hear screaming and see destruction being left in the wake of an approaching something, so he could make educated guesses. Nevermind the obvious reasons for which the kitty was trying to cut a quick deal with him.
Sadly, he had no interest in going further inside until he could confirm that what he was looking for would be found there. No reason to risk his neck fighting angry Mega level digimon, specially since for all he knew, the kitty could always choose to not hold her end of the deal and turn on him once they were done with the other two. That one seemed particularly likely, since there had to be a reason she was even here, taking down whoever entered that particular part of the bible rip off. He guessed any other entrance would have yielded somewhat similar results, forcing whoever entered the thing to contend with one digimon or another. Clearly they wanted to keep people away; did that mean that bible rip off couldn't be closed off? Or did they want some fools to come inside to take them out?
"Bit hypocritical of me to think of anyone as a fool." Mused the dragon outloud; he had gone inside as well, after all. He shifted his gaze back at the cat preparing for battle, humming.
"Sorry hotstuff; I probably didn't make myself clear." He started, "I don't care about going inside just yet. First, I need to know. Is there, or is there not, an important statue awaiting inside. Cause you and I, I can tell, we both know: Fighting other Megas is a pain in the ass. A dangerous pain in the ass that can go poorly. And I would rather not risk my neck for anything other than my goal."
That, or hard cash right then and there, really.

Post by Haru Toriya and Tawna on Aug 12, 2018 4:17:21 GMT
Tawna's emotions were a maelstrom right now, the circumstances she was forced to face impossible for her to wrap her mind completely around it. None of this felt real... but the swirling mess of futures she could witness only showed her the harsh reality of the situation here. That Meicrackmon killed her partner and Naoko's sister. The feline angel did not pause to witness Titania's twisted evolution... a creature hellbent on enacting revenge and wiping away Naoko's problems. It was a gross perversion of the bond between tamer and partner, yet one beneficial to her cause.
It wouldn't have been wrong to merely assumed Tawna seeked revenge... but her anger was derived not from their aggressor, but at their own weakness. She had failed both Haru, Naoko, and all of their friends by letting her die. She was now purposeless technically, yet she was still driven to a cause... To enact justice on a creature that she had no doubt in her mind would have been willing to commit the same atrocity a hundred times more.
The Rasielmon did not pause even as the hellish-screeching of a newly-evolved Crossmon echoed across the landscape, the angelic Digimon's pace steady and machine-like as she wandered through the forest... Her visions guiding her to where conflict would spike once more. She felt a surge of power ahead of her... but not before spotting the Armor level within the trees.
That coward. A bystander to a murder in her eyes. She did not understand his own motives, but she did understand that in a way... he was somewhat responsible for this as well. Inactivity was after all just as bad as committing the murder itself. He was not an enemy, but he was also not a friend... and while Haru was a forgiving individual, that was not something that could be a factor anymore. Tawna shot a silent stare at the blue lizard, hard to tell whether angry, or just disappointed. "... Friend or foe? What lets you decide whose whom, ash-bringer?" they quietly spoke, averting their attention back to where she could felt the Hunter's intense presence.
With the fast-approaching Crossmon coming to rampage across what was left of this forest... Tawna knew there would be no more time to talk this point onward. "Big Bang Panic."
Instead, the angelic figure stood still before raising a claw forward... The sky above them all becoming dotted with beautifully-spectral lights, shaped like stars... before they all crashing down en masse ala a meteor shower forward, destroying entire patches of the forest itself with the blasts of the astral projectiles.
It was somewhat unaimed as she had no clear image of where the Hunter was... but it would force the Hunter to act. Standing still would have been suicidal with the sheer amount of stars raining down from the heavens.
Tawna has used Big Bang Panic in a wide area forward in an attempt to force the Hunter out of hiding/attack them.
Big Bang Panic - Rasielmon summons forth astral projections of stars to rain down upon all in a wide area, dealing damage to foes while additionally reducing their attack power moderately for 3 turns, removing any status buffs they may be under. (Cooldown: 3 turns)
Cooldowns: Manticore Sting: 2 Turns Big Bang Panic - Waiting.

As Naoko followed Rasielmon, and Rusted Crossmon trailed behind--or, rather, it was shambling. Slowly, at first, but it inevitably gained footing, and began to rush after the pair, murder in it's eyeless visage.
Naoko stared blankly towards Fladramon, and then towards Rasielmon. A non-factor. As she watched the stars begin to rain down, she realized that the rusted creature hadn't...caught up yet. She also drew up her hood. It was probably for the better. As that realization passed? Crossmon had skidded to a stop behind her, planted a claw firmly into the ground, and let out another wail as the nascent Mega level brought forth the same apparition of AncientIrismon that Titania had, earlier. One would be forgiven for assuming she was going to perform Rainbow Symphony.
Yet she was not. Instead, Naoko clutched her side as the figure of AncientIrismon rose in the air, raising her rapier as violent winds began to kick up and a drizzle that soon intensified into a torrent of rain began to fall upon the forest. This was Storm Gazer.
Those against Crossmon would find themselves slowed down by the storm. Those with it? Namely, Tawna? The opposite. They were faster.
Come out so I can watch you die.
Crossmon's gaze was focused to where it could feel the presence of the Hunter. There was no more time for games.
Passives: Prismatic Terror: Every time Titania makes use of Mystic Break, the next move used after it will have an additional effect stated below the move.
Rusted Crossmon Iris uses Invocation - Storm Gazer to cause a storm to engulf the forest for four turns, slowing two foes (the Hunter, if she comes out) and speeding up itself and Tawna by 30%. Yes, both are 30%.
Invocation - Storm Gazer: Similar to the Rainbow Symphony variant of Invocation, an image of AncientIrismon appears in front of Crossmon Iris, before performing her Storm Gazer attack, causing a calamitous storm to envelop the area in which combat is taking place (if conditions allow for it.) This is advantageous for Titania and her allies in that two opponents are slowed by 30% thanks to the hazardous winds as well as the buffeting rain for four turns, while the metal bird and her friends (three targets total including herself) are sped up by 30% for a similar amount of time. This has a six turn cooldown.

"Information ain't free, toots." Stubborn to a fault, wasn't she? Either Hunter was still dedicated to the cause, or she really thought she could handle this without the Fladramon's help. The same offer was still on the table, but at this point, the mega-level-cat couldn't care less whether or not this 'avatar' would take it up. So long as he stayed out of the way, that was good enough in her books.
After all, she had much more to worry about between the combination of Titania and Tawna. By the time Tawna had made her approach to the Fladramon's position, Hunter already had retreated deeper into the forest, once more settled into her 'tracking' mode. Nothing's changed. Though they're more powerful... I have Red Mode. I know where they are. And I don't have to reveal myself to attack... tch!!
Of course, they weren't going to leave it that simple: a whipping storm blowing straight through the woods. The storm itself was buffered by the trees, Hunter spared the chilling effect - for now - but Tawna's own attack was a problem. Hunter's attention was drawn skyward to a literal meteor shower aimed at burning this forest to a crisp! Hunter had only one chance to act unseen: darting between the trees - and outdistancing a nearby explosion - the cat knew she had to act fast.
Fast, and calm. The tension in her eyes reached a peak, the cat slashing forth, a red warp tearing open, both in front of herself...
... And a few yards behind Titania and Tawna. However, Hunter's attention was not to jump through the portal - in fact, perhaps it would take a moment for either the bird or Titania to even realize it was there. Staring through, the cat's tails and her gloves gave a faint red glow, before another Laser Circus fired its way, straight through the warp. This time, the lasers were used much more aggressively:
The two prime 'purple' lasers were aimed, each for the center of an opposing mega. As for the eight red lasers, four were dedicated to each opponent, aimed for the shoulders and the sides of the 'hip' of each target. Hunter would have normally grinned, but in her focused state, she simply kept her gaze forward - ready to react at a moment's notice.
Log:
Hunter is forced to move due to Big Bang Panic. So long as Hunter resides within the woods, Storm Gazer has little effect.
The forest itself will last one more turn before Hunter is clearly visible. She uses her last moment of cover for her attack.
Hunter has used both 'Warp' and 'Laser Circus' to create a blind-spot attack on both opponents - after tracking the data signal in general, 'Warp' gives her an exact visual to accurately attack the opponents from behind!

"Neither are my services, sweet cheeks." He informed her seriously, a haze of vapor wafting off from his body. His body temperature was such the water began evaporating on contact; if he cared for the storm at all, he did not show it, staring the cat down. "I'm not risking my neck on a promise. I take half my payments in advance." He informed her, before leaping away from her. He wasn't one to try and barter; he stated his price; if she wanted his services, she knew what she had to do.
As he leaped away, he noticed the... angered, disappointed, something gaze of the other cat. Her words brought little more than a sneer to the dragon's features. As they neared one another quickly, he spoke. "Payment." Was his blunt response to her loaded question. "I wasn't paid to do any job, doll. Or even asked to." He certainly hadn't gotten any requests for assistance the few times they ran into one another. "Don't try and push responsability for this on me. You shouldn't have allowed your tamer to be captured in the first place." He said bluntly to her, the stars falling onto the field thankfully not a danger when he was this close to the other two. He did not pass by them as he did before, instead coming to a hovering pause besides the larger Mega.
He wasn't a perfect judge of character, but the predator cat getting assaulted by meteors didn't strike him as the flexible kind, and the possibility of actually having his demands met once the going got tough for her did not appeal to him; entering a battle against two megas with another, heavily injured mega as his only ally was not what he called called ideal battle conditions.
Perhaps not what some would call courageous; but courage was about doing something you feared. Selflessness and all that junk was merely an extra. If the reasons weren't good enough there was no reason to be an idiot.
"You probably don't care. But I'm looking for a statue. Kitty Kat over there is being a stubborn customer, and I'm personally not a very flexible merc myself." He told her, looking up at her. She was... considerably bigger than him; but that wasn't surprising. He was on the smaller side of things even for champ levels, let alone Megas. "I saw what she did to your tamer. She absorbed the human like data." He shrugged. "Which probably means you can take the tamer back by liberating said data." He said. "I don't care about any of that, but I do care about finding the statue."
He was facing the other side as the portals popped open. They weren't really aimed at him, in fact, they were very precisely targeting multiple parts of his possible customers... Either way, it made it somewhat easy for Fladramon to leap out of the way, flames blasting from his gauntlets and sending him out of the path at high speed.
"So yeah! That's the gist of my business here!" He shouted, "You want your tamer's data, I want to get that statue before anything happens to it." At least, that was what Owlmon and Sagittarimon had warned about. Something something bad stuff happens. The dark area was apparently doing even worse than before now; that was an impressive thing, all things considered.

Post by Haru Toriya and Tawna on Aug 12, 2018 17:32:22 GMT
Tawna merely gazed at the Fladramon with a cold stare... justified somewhat by his harsh words, but they also held truth. He was right though... He wasn't paid to do her job at all. Fine. That was fine. Her own weakness was the reason she was in this horrid mess... but she would do whatever was in her power to rectify it.
It appeared they were driven by the desire for wealth, seeking a statue of some sort... The same type as the one in Northern Prominence? Curious... She had no idea what they would want such a statue for, but the angel was not one to look at a gift-horse in the mouth. "The future is not completely clear to me... but I know of a statue. One in the Northern Prominence, shaped like Baihumon. I cannot say for certain if there is another Sovereign statue here... but I know of them." the angel calmly spoke, their cross-shaped pupils dilating at the mention of her tamer absorbed... confirming one future. That meant... there was a chance. There was a chance her partner could be saved. "... I don't know what you would want with such a statue, but if you help me reclaim that data, I will tell you everything I know and assist you in finding the statue. Just know that if I die, then so does your lead." she spoke.
She hated this creature. It was irreprehensible that they merely watched her partner die… but she had no intentions fighting him. Every moment wasted decreased the odds that her tamer had a future. For that cause, she'd put her hatred aside. She'd leave the decision on whether the Fladramon would help or not to him... There was not a moment to lose.
The angel remained deathly still as she gazed at the almost fantasy-like sight of stars raining from the heavens down in the harsh storm brewed by Titania... It doing nothing to quell the remnants of the forest being annihilated, her tail defensively coiling around Naoko. Perhaps to one watching her, it'd seem she was unfocused... but that was anything but.
Rasielmon are described as all-knowing beings, though those details are clearly embellished... However, this did not mean they were not incredibly sharp creatures. While perhaps only a span of a few seconds in real time, to Tawna she had several minutes to debate the next few moments in her mind... Pragmatic the Hunter was, but such craftiness could only aid them for so long. She was able to see the Hunter's attack before they even motioned to create the rift they'd launch it from.
"Sneak attacks from behind like that don't work on me." the Mega level boldly spoke aloud (offering even Titania a brief warning), turning around as sure enough like the future predicted... a rift would open up and fire an assault of lasers at them. Coupled with the premeditated time foreseeing the attack... it would have perhaps seemed like Tawna was dancing amid the several projectiles as she skillfully weaved through the powerful lasers in a matter of seconds, aided by the wind that surrounded them all.
If the Hunter did not react quick, she may fail to notice the direction the Rasielmon was evading toward... their hands lighting up as intense energy radiated from the gauntlets before coupling them, her golden armor having taken on a shiny-blue coloration... before unleashing a devastating blast of water, surging with a chaotic maelstrom of elements ranging from fire to thunder. The direction it was aimed at? Right back into the rift.
Tawna used a combination of Divine Omniscience and Prescience to predict and evade the Laser Circus fired through the Rift, her tail grappling Naoko to keep them safe. She has successfully changed to the Water element with Element Cipher, firing a water-infused Knowledge Stream directly into the Rift at Hunter.
[PASSIVE] Divine Omniscience - Rasielmon's most unique ability is her ability to tap into the fabric of the world around her to have a nigh-limitless span of knowledge of the future. Rasielmon naturally can see an infinite number of futures and possibilities in the span of seconds, though these carry multiple limitations and drawbacks that reduce their usefulness. For one, Rasielmon cannot tell which is the right one firsthand; the wide range of futures only allows her to make an estimated guess as to what the future can be, with details of the future being often erroneous or unpredictable in nature. The further Rasielmon attempts to peer into the future, the more distorted and numerous these errors become, decreasing her accuracy further. Additionally, this ability while allows her to “see” the future, others senses like hearing or smells are null and void. Its combat use extends only to seeing what attacks may look like due to its potential inaccuracy plus a need for Rasielmon to remain mostly still using it. She can share any of these visions with physical contact.
[PASSIVE] Prescience - A variant of Divine Omniscience that serves more as a form of hyper-awareness, improving Rasielmon’s senses and awareness of her surroundings. Compared to Divine Omniscience, while it does not allow her to see the future, it's both a lower maintenance ability and more suitable for mid-combat. The ability significantly improves her reaction speeds against incoming attacks to better evade them or reduce the damage they inflict. While a strong asset to her kit, it does not guarantee results by any means due to margin of error.
Knowledge Stream - Gathering and freely mixing energy through magic circles materializing by her claws, Rasielmon unleashes an elemental burst attack composed of all the elements. Alongwith simultaneously being all elemental typings at once, it will inflict splash damage to all around the foe. No forms of natural resistance can reduce the damage of this attack. Naoko had realized now that each party was playing seriously now, hence why she had begun to move behind Tawna for cover from...something. Except her tail had already provided that!
The wish had changed, too. As Fladramon spoke of the possibility of Haru's data being able to be saved? Naoko was suddenly glad she had her hood up. Nobody could see her face right now. Because though it was leaking tears, it also became grimly determined.
Save my sister.
As the storm continued to rage, the songbird was warned of something from behind. As the storm had given her quite the boost in speed, a quick beat of the wings sent the mega level to the side, her maw readying an attack as she whirled around to see a miasma of colors--lasers, rush by! If it could feel, it'd probably feel the sheer...awful of the lasers. Dangerously close.
With this, Crossmon turned and uttered words. Actual words. Not an incoherent wail, but words. It's voice was harsh--like knives scraping across chalk.
"Mystic BREAK."
And it fired forth a laser from it's maw, in tandem with the Knowledge Stream, into the rift. The Hunter was in for a world of hurt if she was not quick enough. And to make matters worse? With the firing of the Mystic Break, the Crossmon had now been surrounded by a green aura. To say nothing of the glimmer in it's visage.
Passives: Prismatic Terror: Every time Titania makes use of Mystic Break, the next move used after it will have an additional effect stated below the move. The exceptions are any moves with the Invocation prefix.
Silver Mountain: Crossmon Iris is armored from HEAD TO TOE in Digizoid. 20% flat damage reduction.

Naoko is shielded! Rusted Crossmon has been warned about the incoming attack from behind, and making use of it's increased speed, has barely managed to evade the Laser Circus. It responds by firing a Mystic Break into the rift!
Mystic Break: The main move of this form, Crossmon Iris fires a white hot beam of light that has a capability to -melt things into slag at best and ash at worst. One turn cooldown.

"Tch!"
Damn it - that form had the power to predict such an organized effort? If nothing else, Tawna made an objective mistake in her tactic - boldly declaring her realization of Huner's position made it relatively easy to predict their reactions. Tawna, as a MeiCrackmon, had attacked through the rift before - so why wouldn't this end up being the same? Eyes widening at this realization, the cat grit her teeth - the portal for 'Cosmic Journey' appearing at her right, out of vision through the Warp. If she couldn't outfox Rasielmon, maybe she could try and use an attack that would be much harder to respond to.
The opposite portal, after all, appeared just a yard behind Rasielmon's back. Kicking off to the right, the mega made a fierce lunge, as if pouncing onto something - that being the MeiCrackmon herself, pushing herself through the warp, in an effort to bury her claws directly against Tawna's back and shoulders. The claws themselves pulsed with a bright red energy, enough to burn should the claws find their grip - and in the same span, all three of her tails would tense, intent on trying to stab the Rasielmon at her sides!
How dare you talk down at me... I'LL TAKE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE!
Log:
With Tawna's declaration, Hunter was made aware of Rasielmon's counter-attack. As such, she prepared a Cosmic Gateway during Tawna's dodge - and as both attacks were launched, pounced through the portal, out of the way.

"Is that so." He had said at the other's words, shortly before being scattered by the lasers. Very interesting information, all around. Yes... He could work with this. It wasn't precisely what he desired, but they could work out the details once they were out of trouble... Humans tended to be slightly easier to work out a deal with than other digimon. Hopefully digimon partner's were similar enough to their tamers.
His gaze widened quickly as a portal popped right behind his new... business partner? Prospective Client? Whatever. The words of the cat digimon echoed in his mind as he swiftly reacted, his armor igniting all too suddenly, an explosion of blueish-white flames launching him forward, evaporating all the rain around him as an incredibly loud boom went off.
The distance between them was hardly anything, his previous evasive maneuvering hadn't exactly taken him more than a couple dozen meters away from the others.
To his speed, this was hardly any space at all. Wrapped in flames as he was, what promptly moved to ram into pouncing kitty's side was not rocket; it was a damn near comet; one who could punch through a mountain and keep going without losing pace.
The air around it shimmered and the shockwave left in its wake had burned the grass and trees around it to little more than charcoal.
'You've got yourself a deal, angry cat.'
Relevant Passives
[Epsilon Orionis] When exerting his full strength, Fladramon's flames can reach temperatures above 20,000 °K, equal to the surface of a blue supergiant star, effectively making them weapons of mass destruction. The searing heat of these flames makes even preternatural resistances to damage completely ineffective against them, making passive forms of damage reduction completely ineffective against them.
Engines of War Like a rusty war machine, Fladramon requires a few tests rounds before bringing himself fully up to speed. As the fight rages on and on, his flames burn hotter and his reflexes grow sharper. Once every post, Fladramon's attacking power grows by 1/10 should he take offensive action, stacking up to 5 times for a 50% maximum increase. Once he gets the engine going, he cannot stop until the battle is over, for if even a single post is spent not attacking, the stacks are dropped immediately and must be started from zero.
Charges: 1/5; 10% Boost.
Afterburner A component used to increase thrust for supersonic flight on Military Supersonic Aircrafts. Also a cool way to refer to Fladramon's ability to utilize jet propulsion to move around the battlefield in bursts of supersonic speed, granting him impressive mobility when in battle. That is merely the low end of his Afterburner ability, however; when in danger or in need of greater speed, he can exceed his limit. It can be utilized to allow Fladramon a swift, explosive and short lived burst of superonic speed instantly closing distances in the blink of an eye. 2 posts must pass between each activation of Afterburner. Cannot be activated at the same time as C- C- Combo! CD:0/2
Active skills utilized:
Fire Rocket Fladramon's signature move. Superheating his entire armor until the air around him shimmers and twists and the stone underneath him turns to magma, Fladramon blasts towards the enemy while coated in a swath of flames, the single horn at the end of his helm pointed at the enemy with the intent of piercing right through them. A incredibly powerful move in its own right, when utilized just as Afterburner is activated, it receives massive boost in power and speed, but also has Afterburner's cooldown added to its own. [3 Post Cooldown normally, 5 Post Cooldown with Afterburner.]

It was a gamble dealing with the Fladramon... He could have so easily either stayed out of the way as before, or even sided with their foe. Pragmatic and shrewd bastard wasn't he? Well, there was no use arguing against things now, especially when they managed to hit it off. An uneasy alliance... but an alliance nonetheless.
In hindsight... It was perhaps unwise having announced her awareness of the Hunter's attacks. On one hand, it offered Titania and Fladramon enough of a warning to evade the lasers... but now it seemed she had the Hunter's full attention. No damage from either her or Titania, but now the Hunter was viciously attacking her... and at speeds far more than even she could handle!
Tch! There was too much to properly evade the onslaught of physical attacks! While managing to sidestep somewhat to evade the initial claw attack... the Hunter's stings squarely landed their mark as they stabbed once more into Tawna's flesh, more painfully than before. The angel winced as she bared her teeth from the wound, but before she had a chance to react further... Fladramon already would make an entrance as they careened at the Hunter with breakneck speeds, ala a rocket.
Tawna grasped her wounded side with her hand, trying her best to keep the leaking data in her... Damn it! She couldn't let any more of her data be absorbed! It was clear they were capable of rapidly mutating at a rate that exceeded any natural predatory Digimon, and any further increase of power would reduce their chances of succeeding further! Her tail set Naoko down, the white-fur tail suddenly sprouting a pink-glowing stinger similar to Raguelmon as she injected it down into the earth below them...
The environment was while nicely crispy and a mangled mess, it was still rich in data... Whatever trees still stood around them turned to ash, the grass below their shriveling into bare Earth. This simulated forest? Now a mere wasteland from the destruction the Mega levels have caused. If everything went according to plan, the fresh wound and exposed fractal code would quickly close up as she was filled with energy... hopefully before the Hunter would have a chance to take it for their own!
While managing to evade Photon Claw, Tawna was too slow to evade Vicious Sting. Hoping to take advantage of Fladramon attacking Hunter, Tawna has used Aspect of the Ophanim to mimic Succulent Kiss, using it to stab into the area around them... absorbing all of the energy of the environment to quickly close up her wound and fractal code once more.
Aspect of the Ophanim [RAM UPGRADE] - An individual with an alter ego, this Digimon is capable of briefly calling upon the abilities of either it's Rasielmon and Raguelmon forms. When using this ability, this Digimon copies a single active ability from these two forms that turn (though cannot copy once per thread attacks), putting that ability also on cooldown. (Cooldown: 2 + Copied Ability cooldown)
Succulent Kiss - [RAM UPGRADE] - Raguelmon is a predator first and foremost, capable of consuming large amounts of data at once through the use of her stinger. By stabbing it into a foe or the terrain, she rapidly drains the target of their vitality while granting it to herself, dealing heavy damage in the process to living beings while desecrating the landscape in a 100 (250 at Super Mega) meter radius if it is tapped directly into. Due the nature of the attack, it is less effective on already barren terrain, though highly-lethal to those who are not healthy enough to survive the drain... capable of absorbing their data right then and there! Cannot stack with Power Siphon. (Cooldown: 4 turns)
Active Effects: Storm Gazer: 3 Turns
Cooldowns: Manticore Sting: Ready next turn Big Bang Panic - 2 Turns Knowledge Stream - 1 Turns Succulent Kiss - 4 Turns Aspect of the Ophanim - 6 Turns

Very suddenly, Naoko found herself underneath a -lot- of things happening at once. Fladramon showing his hand, the Hunter showing herself, and several attacks all at once. All sorts of thoughts were racing through her mind. Those of fear, those of grief, anger, a multitude of things. But. That was not important. What was important were the words she shouted.
"FIGHT HER! TAKE BACK WHAT'S OURS!"
And with another wail, Rusted Crossmon turned towards the Hunter, before being engulfed in a blinding light. "Storm Iris." It declared, before it reared back and thrust it's arms together and forward...And it's entire self, too. The green aura had also rushed into it's claws. It was poised to ram and impale it's arms into the Hunter, who had been....preoccupied with Tawna, and now Fladramon, who had come into combat with a -devastatingly- fast attack. What's worse was that with every passing moment, it seemed like there was a growing gust around the rusty bird. Just as the glimmer in it's visage grew ever brighter.
It also punctuated it's charge with a screech! Naoko meanwhile made an effort to get out of the way of all this chaos, scrambling out from under Tawna.
You’re Mine: With each successive attack that Crossmon Iris launches against a single opponent, it grows in power. 10% increments and it caps at 30%. This resets if she targets anything else. 2/3 - 20% attack power
Avatar of Storms: As combat goes on, Crossmon Iris builds up an aura of wind around it, increasing it’s speed by ten percent each turn until it hits 30%. Certain moves are capable of being bolstered in power by forfeiting these stacks. 2/3 - 20% speed increase
With the Hunter attacking Tawna, and Fladramon attacking the Hunter, Rusted Crossmon attempts to hit the Hunter with an empowered Storm Iris in tandem with Fladramon's assault.
Storm Iris: A variant on a regular Crossmon’s Kaiser Phoenix, Crossmon Iris is engulfed in light before it attempts to ram a foe with it’s metallic bulk. Needless to say? This hurts. A lot. Three turn cooldown. - Prismatic Terror Effect: Storm Iris now has a piercing effect. Why? Because Crossmon is ramming the target claws-first.
Active effects: Storm Gazer 2/4
Cooldowns:
Mystic Break: 1/1 Storm Iris: 0/3
Also, Naoko legs it. Kinda.

That's it... that's the way...
Just as planned, things were finally going in Hunter's favor. With a solid dodge with Cosmic Journey, Hunter managed to sink her 'Vicious Sting' deep into Rasielmon's flank. Had the status quo remained the same, the MeiCrackmon might have simply not let go, to try and drain as much data as she possibly could - but that asshat of a dragon finally decided to get involved, and on the wrong side! A bare glimpse in her direction was all she could manage, a slight shift changing it from a 'bloody, flaming spear' to a simple damaging shoulder check, Hunter sent careening past Rasielmon's body due to the impact. Hunter's left flank briefly went into phase, as a tight fractal code - from the tip of one of those tails - sank into Hunter's body.
This change was a bit less pronounced by Raguelmon, but immediately noticeable, as a holy ring appeared around the MeiCrackmon's neck. She gave a 'tsk', only able to steal something so light - but sometimes, it wasn't the amount of data that mattered. With this new form, her eyes settled right on that Crossmon, her jaw clicking underneath. A moment later, she let out another roar...
... Though this was far different from Hunting Game. No, this shout itself caused the air in front of her to visibly contort and ripple, an absolute cacophony of sound filling an entire cone, encompassing all three fighters, but especially the approaching metal bird. Ideally, it would have been enough to throw Crossmon slightly off track, perhaps her internal balance thrown off. If so, the following Photon Claw - aimed to strike right at the approaching bird's flank (if sent off target) or head (if still on-target, in which case Hunter would be in trouble) would be hard to detect!
Log: Hunter has absorbed Salamon X from the miniscule amount of data she was able to siphon, and earned 'Hunter's Shout' at all levels. She subsequently uses 'Hunter's Shout' and 'Photon Claw' to attempt to wear down the Crossmon in front of her.
In any case, Fladramon's charge has dealt severe damage to her side!
Hunter's Shout - Adapted Puppy Howling Hunter screams a high-pitched cry to immobilize enemies in a cone for a turn while deafening them for two turns. Deals low damage, but ignores armor and rings metal.
Refraction: Casts a shield from the mirror lenses on the back of her gloves, creating a shield that can absorb energy-based attacks (Fire, electricity, non-elemental, etc.), though is largely ineffective to physical attacks. The absorbed energy can then be released in a single blast.
