It wouldn't be long after Timothy finished speaking that a glowing portal would open itself not far from them in the stands. From within it would step forth a woman dressed all in practical black clothing wearing a long white doctors coat with an armband with a green medics cross on it pinned to her upper left arm. Her blue eyes alighting on the group as something akin to recognition sparked within their depths. "Kan..." The Doctor greeted taking in the looming man's haggard appearance with a sharp and clinical gaze clearing the distance between herself and her patient in a few broad steps as she reached into her coat pulling on a set of plastic gloves. "We really do need to cease meeting this way." Cassandra quipped her manner the definition of businesslike as she reached into her coat drawing forth her penlight before glancing up at Denryu. "General," She greeted with an incline of her head. "I need a summary of how he came to be in this condition if you please." Cassandra requested even as she flicked the light on holding it up as she motioned for Kan to follow it with his gaze a frown tugging at her lips at the sight of the clear and startling changes to the man and not just those changes that could be attributed to his injuries. While his wounds were concerning enough Cas knew all too well the signs of data-bleed between spirit and user or digimon and human due to biomerge. "And you~" She began pinning Kan with her stare her frown only deepening at the slowness of his pupils to react as she carefully cupped his head in one hand. "Where does it hurt?" She questioned running her thumb over the man's lower lip in a gesture that might have been sensual were it not for the sheer clinical detachment in the woman's gaze she pulled back eyeing the red blood staining the thumb of her medical gloves with concern.

"Well, if all you can do is hunker down here, that's fine too. Don't underestimate the damage you've sustained already - its not like I'm at a hundred percent either." Significantly less - both his Digivice and Timothy's continued to buzz with a consistent healing aura.
As for Timothy's question, he simply gave a shrug: "If the only way you had to get to where you need to go was to cross a bridge over lava, you might have to take that risk. Both the statue's composition and the effect it has on the world are variables that had to be determined - this is the only way to calculate both of them." Before the general could explain further, however, 'the resident doctor' made her appearance...
... Though with the way she addressed Kan, Denryu gave a blink. "Hm, someone you know?" As for Kan's current condition? "Put it simply, he had arrived in Super Mega and the end result was a fight. The damage to his physical body was mostly concussive and electrical - though Angel did reign herself in enough to largely avoid the neck." With that description, the General took a step back - before a vibration could be heard, both at Cassandra's and Denryu's waist.
"I'll check." Picking up the device, the general gave a 'tch'. "Actually, better look at this one." He didn't want to say it out loud, but the message across his Xros Loader was very clear:
Airspace Breach Detected. Maintaining Cloak. - DN An annoyance, at least. A few buttons and a quick message back returned another response - an image of an AceJetmon ((X) passing within about a half-mile of the ship.
Not Luminas tech. That would be the General's last line on that message string, but if that was the case, just what was going on outside?

Timothy's exchange with his bird didn't go unnoticed; kan's molten eyes were for the most part soft. He knew how it was to have a partner like this; the sort of struggles you could have. Sure he had been a spirit user for most of his digital career but he wouldn't forget that feeling. The companionship with a digimon and the flow of working with them. At least that's how it usually should go right?
He'd sigh softly and grunt as he could feel pain swell in his chest just adding onto the headache that was now becoming more persistent. It was probably because of his eyes that he had this headache, he could tell something was off with the way his vision kept swimming at this point. But not in the sort of way that was factored with passing out.
It was part of the reason why he had stopped wearing glasses before; now was it going to force him back? The portal that opened up and the individual that stepped through brought a sharp intake of breath followed by a single creeping cough.
"Doctor. We really do; Should I start eating apples or make appointments?"
He wasn't really expecting a chuckle from the doctor from that joke but it was better than thinking of the alternatives that he was presented with here. The pain would be something he'd deal with of course; it was something he was used to. Something he was so used to to the point that he should of just been ready for it.
The summary that the general gave was pretty much accurate; honestly if he had stepped through at a lower level perhaps that would of given them a proper chance to talk.
"I'll have to thank her later for not going for there then. Probably would of ended with me barely breathing rather than coughing fits."
He'd turn his head a little and those molten eyes locked onto the doctor when she addressed him. That stare; the coldness behind it and the business like manner wasn't lost upon him. To some they would of taken the next actions she had as sensual but the man knew better.
"Head and chest, coughing up blood as you can see so... Not feeling it sharply so I'm pretty sure the adrenaline is keeping most of it away."
He didn't move while she was touching him, she had a job that she needed to do and of course he'd have to follow suit with anything that she'd suggest. Though after a few long moments he'd sigh and consider just how bad this could of actually been...
The buzzing from their devices made the man shift uncomfortably and the way that the general reacted to it only further made kan uncertain of what was going on. He wasn't sure what was going on but it couldn't be good if their communication was lighting up. So he chanced it and asked...
"What happened?"

Timothy simply nodded to the general, glancing to the doctor as she entered. She and Kan seemed to know each other. Hopefully she has some way of healing Bibi faster, because from what the General described, they were gonna need all the help they can get. He really didn't want to send her out so soon afterwards, but if it was needed... It was needed. He really hoped it wasn't needed, like desperately hoped it wasn't needed. He should stay focused for now... Yeah.
Timothy listened silently to the General's reply. He hated that it made sense, it mean't he couldn't refute it too heavily. He didn't really have any counters, and that burned more than anything. There had to have been an safer way that wouldn't lead to all this chaos. "I'm guessing there's also time restraints due to the last statue breaking?"
He glanced towards the Xros Loader, reading off what it said. "What's going on?" It involved something flying, though he didn't know what it was.
Bibi pulled herself up on Timothy's lap and looked around, a doctor was here apparently. She was slowly feeling a lot better, though everything still hurt. "Are we in any danger again? I really don't feel like being in more danger right now... Gimme like... Five more minutes."

Pausing in her assessment the Doctor glanced down at her D-terminal at Denryu’s prompting. Dreadnought’s message as well as Denryu’s own text drawing a frown of concern from the woman before she flinched, her muscles spasming briefly as pain echoed through the distant connection between herself and the D-reaper. Feeling almost as though a needle had been briefly driven through her mind though more worrisome was the sense of the entities attention shifting from passive observation to active scrutiny.
“I think…” The Doctor murmured stashing her penlight away as she slotted the chip for her assistant into place in her Digivice. “That we have the D-reapers attention now.” She murmured as a Medicmon appeared in a brief flash of light beside her. The Digimon's sensors lighting up at the sight of Kan as Cassandra motioned for her assistant to scan the man as she very carefully felt along his ribs with her fingers.
"Friend of yours?" She questioned tone flat as she arched a single brow at the General as the Medicmon's scan ran their course the little Digimon tapping Cas lightly on the shoulder to show his readout confirming the woman's fears.
"Doctor initial scans are detecting he has at least three broken ribs one of which appears to have pierced his left lung, multiple fractures to his sternum and ribs, including possible spinal trauma. However the frequency of the recent data bleed he has suffered is interfering with my scans." Jegan murmured the Medicmon's tone just as mechanical and businesslike was the Tamer he was working alongside.
"Then my assessment stands. He is likewise showing signs of a concussion so we can't risk putting him under for any procedures." The Doctor assessed pulling her medical kit from her belt as she thumbed through it removing a syringe of clear substance.
"Jegan I need you to ready an IV drip. We're going to need to put him on painkiller to prevent him from going into shock. Then put him on oxygen while I manually deflate the damaged lung before we heal him." Cassandra instructed as the Medicmon opened a compartment on his chest pulling out said saline bag as Cas carefully took Kan's wrist feeling along it for the vein before inserting the needle.
"All right Kan you're going to feel a little funny. I'm hitting you with the good stuff, but you should remain conscious. However, I'm going to need to remove your shirt." The Doctor explained before injecting a hit of morphine into the bag strong enough she wagered even at his weight it should make the spirit user feel as though he was in a cloud rather sitting on stadium seats.
-Bio Scan: Equipped with short range incredibly powerful scanners Medicmon is capable of scanning a Digimon or human reading through their biological signs, data, and dna for anomalies or illnesses allowing him to safely identify them for treatment. May be used on one patient per turn and cannot take accurate readings beyond twenty-five feet. -Miracle Aid: Medicmon may act as a fully equipped mobile medical and toxicology lab for those he is assisting and boosts all allied healing abilities, skills, and cards by fifteen percent. It seemed that Cassandra had largely taken control of Kan's condition - the far-less medically adapt General stepped off to the side, allowing Dr. Cross all the room she needed to try and level out his condition. Rib fractures, a punctured lung, a data leak - in totality, it could have been worse, though Cassandra definitely had to do something for his condition.
That, of course, left the elephant in the room. Just what was that phone call about? To Timothy's question, the General gave a simple answer: "Its just some noise on the outside. Obviously, people are coming in, drawn by the new 'spawn' across the desert. But no, we're not in danger - this is the safest place you could be at the moment." It was true enough, and even played in-line with Cassandra's earlier comment. He didn't dwell into specifics - the fact that the jet belonged to Cion was even of little importance right now.
"... Though I would Kan and the doc some room here." Right, fixing a deflated lung - probably better if Timothy didn't see the part where Cassandra was going to have to thread a needle between Kan's ribs.

The questions that timothy posed were pretty damn simple; but fairly important. the Man shook his head unsure if with the group as they were could offer anything more than just two more problems. Cassandra's murmering wasn't really direct enough for kan to really catch all of it. So he was left largely out of the loop for that and he should of probably expected it. Grumbling to himself as the doctor scanned him with their assistant he was brought to the simple understanding that he was probably better left out of it if she was going to have to treat him.
The assessment that the Medicmon gave was slightly worrying; if anything it just confirmed a few things for him. Rubbing the back of his neck with one hand while the doctor continued her work. She wasn't addressing him for much of this up until the end.
"All right then."
The shopkeep grumbled a little bit and after getting hit with that morphine he'd take a moment to adjust before taking off his shirt. The bruising from earlier easily apparent but they were no where near as nasty as they were going to be in the morning.
"Might be a good idea..."
The man put a hand to his head grumbling slightly as he could feel the tug of the morphine. It was something he wasn't used to so he certainly chose the best route of just clamping his mouth shut while letting the Doctor do her work.

Wish he got his assumption confirmed... Oh well, he was pretty sure he wasn't too far off. Though apparently they had some people outside who were out to get the "spawn." Probably referring to D-Reaper Agents. Then he pointed out that he was still sitting in the work area... Crap... Didn't think about it. "Right." Timothy got up and moved he and Bibi a bit out of the Doctor's way, close enough to keep conversation with the General though. "So you're all doing this to test the statues in hopes of recreating them, then using those to hopefully reseal the D-Reaper?" He hoped he got the whole story right, it made sense to him at least so far now that he's finally calmed down and listened.
Bibi got up finally, and gave a stretch. She wasn't back to one-hundred percent, but she was at least ready enough to do battle if they needed to. She hopped out of Timothy's lap and sat down next to him. She looked around what used to be a very intact circus interior, wow, they really fought like crazy in here. She then looked to the General, "What do we do now? I'm mostly ready."
"No you're not, you're recovering still."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah."
"I'll prove it!" She hopped out of the seat, then tried to look tough, only to wince a little bit. "Nevermind."
"Now sit down for a while and just wait."
"Fine."

Doctor Cross would pause casting the General a glance at his non-response, but would soon shift her attention to Timothy as the boy seemed to let go of his anger long enough to pose the important questions. "That is more or less our intentions yes. If we could have done this in a more peaceful fashion we would have chosen to do so. Unfortunately certain factors were not in our favor." Cassandra explained as she carefully helped Kan remove his shirt setting the garment to the side.
"We'll need to put him on oxygen for this Jegan. Can you run protocol O2 for me please?" The Doctor requested as the Medicmon opened up his chest compartment once more to reveal an oxygen mask hooked to a tube.
"I'm on it Doctor." Jegan murmured helping Cas loop the oxygen mask over Kan's face.
"I need you to breath normally all right Kan? Can you do that for me? And when I tell you to breath out and hold it I need you to do so for as long as you can. We're going to lay you flat here in just a moment once the morphine fully kicks in. I'd advise you look anywhere then at what I'm doing once we do." The Doctor instructed digging through her kit as she removed a syringe and hooked it to a long thin needle. Carefully Cassandra felt along Kan's ribs pulling out a pen with her free hand to circle the spot of her would be entry point.
"If you are squeamish of needles I'd advise looking away." Cas murmured glancing at Timothy once more before those cold blue eyes slid to the masked Xros user the harshness of them softening minutely.
"General would you mind helping me to lay Kan flat and keep him still? I'll need to begin the procedure the second he's on his back. The oxygen should help his breathing despite possible fluid build up, but we need gravity working with rather then against here. Likewise Jegan once I deflate his lung away from the broken rib I need you to begin the area." The Doctor requested of both the General and her own assistant as the Medicmon gave an understanding nod his systems ready.

Timothy seemed to get the gist of it now, and with Cassandra's affirmative answer, Denryu added his own nod. "All we're doing is trying to put the ball back in our court, so to speak. There's no point simply waiting for the clock of the world to run out."
Fair enough, right? With Bibi finally up, and the group pulling away from the impromptu medical session, the Xros General gave a small chuckle towards Bibi. "Given that program, you probably won't be fighting-fit for at least twelve hours - and not peak condition for at least a day or two. Still, Angel got a better workout than she usually gets with these sort of things - hm?"
Right, Kan was more important right now. Giving a nod, the general moved to stand, crouched, behind their impromptu patient, his hands carefully resting on the man's shoulders. "Can do. Just give me the signal when you're ready." Right now, there wasn't much he could do but go along with it - but if Cas was doing what he thought she was doing, this wouldn't take too much time.

This would be honestly the first time he'd been under the care of a doctor in this fashion. He wasn't really sure what to do other than just simply sit there and let them do their job. It was a bit nerve wracking thinking about that. The spirit user exhaled softly and shifted to eye the doctor; they needed to put him on oxygen for this? It made sense even if it kind of hurt to think about that.
"all right. I can do that."
Her telling him to breathe normally followed by the instructions made it a little jarring. Though her telling him that he probably should look away from where she was going to do work made the spirit user pause. He'd dip his head in a nod and simply follow her instructions.
It was a bad idea to really argue with the doctor, in general it was just a bad idea to argue with them in general he felt. After all if he did something foolish while under their care he'd just get more fucked up right? So of course all he could do is wait, shut up and be quiet. He didn't want more problems than he had after all.
Come to think of it.. I've never had an oxygen mask on like this before. Feels a touch odd.

Timothy was starting to understand where they were coming from now. They knew they were on a limited time and they were trying to circumvent the problem entirely. Alright. So they weren't so crazy, they just... Had a plan that while he didn't enjoy, probably not many of them did for that matter, was necessary. He just had to deal with it...
Luckily for him, he wasn't worried about needles much, he was more worried about Kan's condition. "Did we all seriously go that far?" He really wished he could've helped in a more direct way, but he really didn't have much to help with there other than giving Bibi as much as support as he possibly could, which was at most mental.
Bibi simply frowned, so she was kinda out of the fight for half a day... And not at full strength for a few days... Very quickly though, that was wiped away. She had the time of her life, she couldn't wait to beat down someone else. It would just have to be a bit of a wait.
She continued sitting there, not really paying much attention anymore, there was a bit of a wait on what to do next due to Kan's state, and she didn't mind not being entirely ready right now.

"Being a spirit user complicates his condition in addition to him being reckless." The Doctor intoned and were it not for her the flatness of her voice one might have thought she was complaining rather then scolding the man she was trying to save.
"All right General help me lower him down." Cas requested as the pair of them got Kan flat on his back. It would be then that the man himself would realize why he was on oxygen as suddenly breathing would get a bit more difficult as his injured body struggled to draw in enough air along with the fluid in his lungs.
"Jegan get ready." Doctor Cross ordered as she lined up her needle. By now the morphine would be think in Kan's veins numbing him from pain. "Breath out fully Kan and hold it....now." She spoke the needle piercing the man's flesh as the Doctor carefully threaded it between the Spirit user's ribs as pulling back on the plunger as the syringe filled with fluid and excess air making Kan feel as though his lung was strangely being sucked through a tube. The technique forcing the excess air from the injured lung forcing it flat and fully away from the rib piercing at Cas snapped out a quick.
"Now Jegan." As the Medicmon bombarded Kan's torso with healing light. The rib knitting back into place, his lung healing as Cas drew the syringe back, the spot where she'd pierced his skin healing in moments as warmth and calm would sweep over the man.
"You can breath normally now Kan." Cassandra would explain as slowly the Doctor slumped back against one of the chairs with a mechanical sigh of relief. The Medicmon beside her likewise sagging as it became clear Kan was safe from the worst of it.
"Good work Jegan." The Doctor spoke and though her words were clipped her assistant seemed to light up with pride. Taking a moment to let the worst of the tension ease from her shoulder the Doctor would rock forward on her heels once more cleaning and putting away the needle for sanitation later and carefully removing the oxygen mask from Kan.
"Jegan only sped up your natural healing process. You will still be very sore and have quite a few fractures and there's nothing he can do about the concussion. It is imperative you remain awake for the next hour to three hours and do not try to fight or move around too much. I'm going to unhook your IV now and roll you onto your side. I need you to give me three deep coughs to help clear the blood and fluid from your lungs." The Doctor ordered and proceeded to do just that as she carefully unhooked the IV handing it back to Jegan to dispose of before rolling Kan onto his side and keeping a steady hand on his back as he would hopefully do as she asked and cough.
"I'd advise at least a minimum of one week of rest and under no circumstances are you to lift anything over fifteen pounds for three weeks till the bruising to your spine goes down. If you see another Doctor before then they can subscribe you ongoing painkillers to help." She added in a matter of fact manner.

Timothy's question was fair: was this too far to take the fight?
"With spirit wielders, its a crapshoot. Some can take a very high amount of damage and only be left with an exposed fractal code, while others feel the damage more 'pronounced' on their main body." The General's answer was brief and level, helping to lead Kan along with Cassandra's movement. Like Timothy, all the masked man could really do was follow along with the doctor's movement...
... Though the operation was about what he expected, minus the Medicmon's repair of the ribs. The hard (and scary-looking) part was soon over, Denryu simply helping along with the rest of the movement. Right now, there was no point interrupting the doctor, though his Digivice seemed to disagree - once more giving a vibration. Another one of Dreadnaught's alerts?
Taking a glance down at the new message, well, Denryu was glad he was wearing a mask. "... Tch. Doc, when you're done here, be on standby for Quadrant Four." Hunter's section, right. As before, the General kept the reason under wraps, but this was far worse than a mere D-Reaper interference.
Right, so the two would be stuck in here for a few hours, at least. "Well, if nothing else, we can use this one as a bit of a medical crash room..."

"I can't really call it being reckless when you get shotgunned in the chest... not like I was really trying to pick a fight when coming in here either. Super mega or not."
The man mumbled a little bit and wheezed softly when he noted that he was having trouble breathing. It was a tad frustrating as he had never really dealt with something like that before. Grunting in irritation the man slowly exhaled and simply held his breath as told. It felt awkward to say the least.
There was the strange tickle in his chest that he could barely really note and the healing light that Jegan was doing made the man consider just how badly he probably was hurt. Again.
Though upon being told that he could breath normally the man felt himself give a small wracking cough as his body put the lungs back to work. Though the doctor seemed to think that he was following pace. He sort of stared at her for a moment before being rolled onto his side. He'd go over what she told him to do before giving her three rather deep coughs. He could feel the upheaval in his body and the results spattered on the seats proper. He'd carefully wipe his mouth and grimace grumbling a little bit.
"Well thankfully I have a place I can just rest. Guess I'm not helping here am I?"
The man simply sat there seeming somewhat out of sorts. If this got bad how was he going to help anyways? He would be recovering and he bet that he couldn't hold Super mega for very long. Though he damn well could try...
