The sound of civilization echoed around the station. It was that kind of background that wasn't annoying, but rather the one that reminded you that you were in the real world. You were here, living your life, making friends, loving, feeling. The sound of daily life; like leaving the TV on because you sleep while watching you favorite novel, while it rained outside. Or like the lullaby of your dad's car when you rode in the backseat during a long trip. Yes, that sort of emotion that was unknown to the one petit digimon who had never seen anything but the Digital World. There was nothing familiar about those big looking machines, expect that they looked like Locomon, or about the unusual amount of noise in that place. Holmes was confused, but that was were his investigation had taken him, wasn't it? He had to trust his curious gut.
He looked around, amazed by all the different humans that were there, in all shapes and colours. Like Digimon, right? No one is the same and the one next to them. His mind rushed back to what made him make his way here. After his first encounter with a human after being reborn, and reaching his actual Gatchmon stage, he remembered that there were creatures that longed to be with digimon and work together. Holmes couldn't believe he had almost forgot about them, when just before leaving the Village of Begginings he had been dwelling on that one short phrase in his mind, likely said by one of them, which ended up naming him in one of his previous lifes. He knew he had to find that person, not matter what. Something told him it was too important to be ignored.
And so, following the trace of humans during his exploration, his observation skills brought him to this place, where it seemed that the sum of them skyrocketed. If he were to find something about this person, no better place than this, "the scene of the crime". But, now what? He didn't even know where to start. Or whatever he was supposed to do. In fact, with his short stature, he easily got lost in the crowd, like a rat in the middle of a conmmotion. He began to be a bit anxious, but tried not to show it as he thought of a way to get out of the sea of people.
