She could still feel the pressure of the body above her, the fangs at her neck. The gentle pausing and tug of the wind between their bodies. She had lost and that much had been certain. She had fought as hard as she could; not the best that she could.
Trying something new had bit her so hard in the ass that it had lead to her failing. It had led to her getting her body ripped apart. She could feel the gross plaque across her chest; on her neck as those fangs were still poised to take her.
She could feel the itching sensations of this terrible infection burning along her. It hurt in hundreds of ways that she couldn't explain; the short stacking breaths she was allowed seemed paltry to the gift this creature was going to give her.
She couldn't even call this one above her the same friend that had helped her pick which core to go with. She couldn't call it the same individual that she was gifted a view of her own mindscape with. But something somewhere deep told her to keep fighting.
With a breathless snarl she'd try to kick at the center of this creature that claimed to be guru. That claimed her friend; instead of laying down and just simply letting them... She should fight until her last breath right?
But at what cost would her fighting this creature bring? Was it not better to give up?
"Do... You think I'll just... Make it... that easy..?"

The beast that held the Renamon down couldn't be called 'Guru' anymore, not in the slightest.
Though there had been a pained regret but a few moments prior, the grip that the D-Reaper held on the Reppamon's head was far beyond what the weasel could hope to resist. His claws pinned down that helpless fox, fangs locked tight around her neck - mere moments away from tearing apart what had once been a dear patient. However, in that moment, K responded.
Not with a meek struggle, but with an active attempt to resist, a sharp 'kick' that managed to earn a frustrated growl from the beast. Its immediate reaction was to lock its fangs, a mere turn away from rending the Renamon below to data...
... But, at that very moment, a curious 'click' ticked on in his head. Just what was this hapless reaction? This seemed to be more than just instinct - an actual drive, when the situation seemed hopeless. The simple program of the D-Reaper could not understand what seemed like a 'foolish' prospect - and when the D-Reaper discovered something it didn't understand, it sought to fill that void: to know just how dangerous these Digimon could become.
As for that mere kick? The Reppamon adjusted his front foot, planting it right over the Renamon's chest, to pin her right down against the dirt. His fangs released, as he gave a swipe of that claw - to throw the fox a few feet away, and to turn her right over. Though, her condition was still very dire - perhaps before she even knew what had happened, she'd already feel those fangs lock again: this time, gripping the back of her nape.

There was a small pained gasp as the creature locked it's fangs against her neck. She could feel that pain lance through her body much sharply than the burning sensation on her chest or the twisted sensation on her leg. Growling with irritation she wasn't about to give up because...
She wasn't sure what was going on here; she was damn well certain that the reppamon was going to break ehr neck or something. But it seemed to almost be thinking about something? She'd have to do something to fight against this creature! But then of course as she collected her thoughts she was gifted with a solid problem.
She'd let out a gasp of pain as she felt that front foot pin her down. It was dull in comparison to the locking of fangs most certainly but it still bloody well hurt. With the release of the fangs she was given a moment of but it was dashed before she could even react. That swipe of the claw and her landing against the ground winded her. She could feel the pain spread through her chest again and the newly added pain of her neck. The D-reaper agent had not been gentle to her.
The few instances of the ground she was gifted with only added to the fact that she refused to just give in. But she was still just a rookie; no where near fast enough to do much of anything against this reppamon. She felt the fangs lock again on her body on her nape. It made it practically impossible for her to struggle past a few light kicks at the reppamon. Her arms waving in agitation as she couldn't bend far enough. However once her chest started to flare up from the agitation she instead was reduced to a coughing fit. Her right hand coming to her chest as she wheezed out breaths...

Of course, the Renamon was still struggling - the D-Reaper didn't think that this fact would simply change due to a difference in her position. Still, the kicks and the arms were for naught: the Reppamon had a firm grip over the fox's nape, and with one flick up of his head, she was plucked off the ground, left to hang by the mere scruff of fur and flesh from the back of her neck.
She could struggle, but even if she was dropped, the Reppamon would just pluck her right back up. She could kick, but K's feet would simply catch open air from this angle. With how mechanical the D-Reaper operated, any efforts to try and frustrate her captor wouldn't gain too much traction: K was simply being dragged off, limbs dangling against the peat moss of the Dark Area. But just where was she being taken? It would be difficult to raise her neck and get a good view forward, but she might feel it in her fur: the air around slowly becoming hotter and more dry, the flashes of light and the clash of combat off in the background - as well as the glowing red light of the dirt underneath.
It would be a good ten minutes of this - until, in an equally unceremonious fashion, K would feel the weight around her neck vanish. She was simply dropped off the ground, the Reppamon even taking a step back, observing from a curious distance... as the ground beneath them gave a rumble.

It shouldn't be a surprise with the change in her heart and in her mind that this renamon would fight. She who had given up not too long ago had a glimpse; ever so slight to somewhere she simply didn't want to be. Who could blame her in this decision? Was it not better to fight until the very bitter end?
So struggle she did, kick she did. Swing her arms in a manner; even going so far as to try to elbow the reppamon. Even when she was dropped she'd still struggle; even as pointless and fruitless as it was. All the while she was trying to get her bearings and finding time after time that she hadn't a clue where she was. It was hard to lift her head or struggle in the fashion that she was being carried in.
She could feel the exhaustion creeping in; the finality that it brought to her. She was wearing herself out trying to get this reppamon to at least pause; maybe she'd get lucky? Though... once she started to feel the changes in her fur the renamon paused to run a hand through it. Just what was going on? Why was it so hot here? The glowing red light was something she could easily see but that didn't change much for her other than to weakly struggle.
Grunting as she was dropped on the ground the renamon tried to stand only to find her legs weren't responding terribly well. Perhaps it was the fight from earlier, perhaps it was the struggling. But it was getting harder and harder for her to raise her head or take a breath. The aching pain in her chest making her grip the red splotch that had formed all across her front. So she did what she could which was look around; wide eyed and uncertain. When the ground gave a rumble she'd try to push herself up to no avail...
"Where....?"

The heat, of course, came from the air around then: the closer they were to the D-Reaper's field, the hotter the air became. As she was dropped onto the ground, and able to look around, K would be able to make out the source of the red light, brimming over the horizon - even for the Dark Area, the land had taken a frightening form, one that would send chills down the spines of even the most heroic Digimon.
The sounds of combat dully reigned on in the distance: electricity cracked, bullets fired, and blades clashed, but to K, perhaps it might all seem distant. After all, the lumbering form that created those rumbling footsteps didn't take long to come into K's line of view. As soon as she looked towards the direction of the source, she'd see it:
The Paratice Head - a monster the size of a several-story building, this behemoth of an agent slowly lumbered forth, its faceless head keenly focused in the Renamon's direction. The controlled Reppamon watched from a careful distance, masked eyes kept right on that fallen fox. Curiosity piqued, the D-Reaper wouldn't give the Renamon too much time to act:
Kneeling down, the beast would extend its hand, intent on simply plucking the fox up in its massive grip.

She had never been in an area like this, so complicated but so simple in it's entirity. The area she was in wasn't the source of the red light but the source of it was certainly closer than it had been not ten minutes earlier. She had never been to the dark area before either; so this change had certainly warped her perspective into a somewhat fearful one.
The sounds of combat meant to her that others were still fighting this; still trying to push it out. It wasn't surprising to her that others would; for they were likely stronger than she. A renamon who couldn't even fight two reaper clad individuals on her own. The source of the footsteps made the renamon balk a bit as she quickly tried to push herself up.
She maybe managed a moment or two of sweet defiance staring up at this several story sized creature. She had trouble figuring out where to look on this creature; what was threatening and what she could realistically deal with. Flicking her eyes back to note that the reppamon was giving her a wide berth for some reason only worried her more and more.
Shifting her attention forward she was greeted with the palm of the massive beast. It wouldn't have any trouble picking her up but that didn't stop her from launching a very weak fireball from one hand towards it's head. Weak as she was it was unlikely it'd even do much more than sting.
"N-no!"
She wasn't sure what this beast intended for her; but she didn't like it. Why had the reppamon brought her here? What was she going to do against something that big. The little one on it's own had ripped her out of mega for petermon's sake!

Just what could a mere rookie do?
The Paratice Head didn't even flinch as that small bit of fire glanced against its face, a small welt appearing on the red 'skin' underneath. Even that, though, simply bubbled away and smoothed out, as the agent itself tightened its grip around the hapless, panicked Renamon. Wherever that hand contacted her, she'd feel the same burn she did from the explosion before, that crimson mass built up on the fox's fur.
Just what did it intend for her? Well, the D-Reaper wasn't interested in her identity, her abilities, or even her strength: it had countless amounts of data on similar Digimon, after all. No, it was her current demeanor, her 'self' that was of interest to the D-Reaper: her foolish defiance, her illogical refusal of the situation at hand.
It had to understand. And to understand, it had to 'take'. Keeping the fox held between just three of its fingers, the Paratice Head kept its focus on her, raising its other hand to meet her. She'd be brought face-to-face with the palm, that yellow 'disc' held in the center. Well, no, not a disc, it was more like a 'beak' - one that opened wide across the center, revealing a dark tunnel within - one that looked alive.
And one that the Paratice Head would try and force its captor into...

She wasn't surprised to see that the large creature wasn't even phased by her attack; it likely was way out of her range to deal with in the slightest. However as she felt the hand tighten it's grip around her she let out a pained yelp and struggled to remove herself from the hand. The aching, twisted sensation that she felt on her chest was soon joined by the same sensation where-ever this creature was touching her.
Gasping for breath; shivering and shuddering in it's grip she was gifted with far more pain than she was used to. It was cutting through her exhaustion like a knife and making her practically whimper. But... something deep down welled up; something primal and angry. She looked up at the creature with tears streaming down her cheeks from the pain. There wasn't hate in her eyes, no there was just a simple message that she wouldn't stop even as her flesh felt like it was burning.
So as the Paratice head brought it's other hand to meet her and she was gifted with that palm... that strange beak that opened wide to her. Her eyes widened and struggled still but honestly what could she do here? But she still didn't relent to this beast. No she with one of her feet kicked an equally weak if not weaker ball of fire at that opening even as she was forced into it...
"Sovreigns take you!"
That final biting curse; that damnable but sudden spout of words were the last thing that she could manage before the burning sensation seemed to overwhelm her. She felt her chest aching turn to the point of where she started to cough. Just what was this red stuff doing to her?

What was that red stuff doing to her?
For the Renamon, that might have been the only question upfront on the mind. Coughing fit aside, it took little effort to force the Renamon past that beak - and just as she was able to give out those final words, she'd feel something like a vice grip around her from all angles. The beak snapped shut a moment later, trapping the fox in complete darkness as she was forced deeper through the agent's frame.
The D-Reaper, of course, defied the laws of common biology. K would be dragged along to what would be the Paratice Head's chest, and once she was finally there, she'd feel that same red mass press tight against every part of her frame. For a few moments, she'd be left to the sheer darkness, the feeling of that same burn pressed against her... but eventually, she'd see something. That of a stark green light, starting to fill the space, as well as a sudden 'coolness' to her body, like that of suddenly being dumped into a vat of ice.
What was it? The fox would be able to look down, and see it: her outer layer of data slowly being stripped away, revealing the wireframe underneath. No, she wasn't being deleted, or even taken into the beast directly... so what was it, other than terrifying?

She wasn't surprised that her next attack did absolutely nothing; in fact she had expected it. Just what was she going to gain from this struggle? A mere few moments more to life?
No.
It was something much more than that perhaps; some sort of edge somewhere that maybe she was going to be given or had if she just kept on through this. She had lived for so long that perhaps she... desired more than just living.
The complete darkness that she was trapped in along with the vice grip from all angles made her gasp in sharp pain. She could feel herself moving in some way or another. Unsure of where she was; what was going to happen or why any of this was going the way it was. The burning sensation from earlier increased to a point to where the renamon felt like screaming. The stark green light that she eventually saw along with the feeling of coolness made her uncertain.
Looking down she'd gasp in surprise as she saw the outer layer of data being stripped away. Layer by layer, bit by bit until the wireframe underneath was visible. She had heard about digimon getting loaded from time to time, how they would never come back from it or the bits that managed to escape from such an event would make their own mon. She tried to move, tried to say something, but the vice grip and the pain from this experience was making her head spin.
Most certainly the cool sensation that had washed over her still didn't make up for what she felt earlier. Deep under her wireframe the three cores stirred in fear; orbs of blue, green and red stared out of the wireframe towards what amounted to impending 'destruction'. A single thought ran through her mind, uncertainty in every syllable and in every moment that passed felt like an eternity. Fear beat in her chest and it too seeped from her cores...
"What... is happening to me?"

What was happening to her?
K would have been better off not knowing. Despite her resistance, it took little effort for her 'surface' data to be entirely stripped away, leaving the Renamon in the appearance of an intricate wireframe - though even in this state, she wasn't spared the sensation. She could still 'move', struggle, and feel the grip around her, though that red plaque no longer seemed to plague at her frame.
It did make it somewhat easier for the Renamon to look down, to see her three cores shaking and stirring within - though maybe she would have wanted to pry her eyes away. Once more, she'd feel an intense heat against her body, this time at the pit of her gut, as a red, sparking light crackled within. Tendrils of red data easily managed to slip right through that wireframe - and like a spindly web, it would stretch within, and start to surround the Renamon's cores. Once ensnared, the same red sparking would echo out from each core, struggling and shuddering to no avail.
Jesmon's confident thoughts soon dulled, as did the Examon's playful whims. Even GraceNovamon's whispers for destruction were filed out, a harsh static filling K's ears, all other senses of sound fading away.
The thoughts of a knight? Or a struggling survivor?
The buzzing would fill through her ears, as the beast prodded at her very existence.
A powerful, untapped core... and yet you show such weakness...

K stared down at herself; her 'eyes' widening dramatically as she saw this wireframe of hers be laid completely bare to the world. She had no extrenal data left that the D-reaper could strip from her. She could move if only by agonizzing inches and struggle in the grip of this creature but... What was that going to bring her now?
Her eyes locked on the three cores within her; staring quietly at them as she felt that intense heat against her. This sensation made her gasp out in pain and the renamon squirmed weakly. The red data easily slipping through the wire frame and surrounding her cores.
Jesmon was gone.
Examon was gone.
GraceNovamon was gone.
The three that had been vying for her to have them as cores were gone; she instead was left bare with the little that she had. The thousand or so years in that inn; the battles and wars she had fought the only things she could remember. No unbidden words from these individuals. She felt her senses start to fade, that static becoming the cold harsh reality she was going to likely be submitted to.
Then another voice; much like the others. But unlike anything she had heard before reached forward. It asked a pair of questions. They were simple questions; simple answers. But they were answers she felt herself give without meaning to.
"I... am.. No.. Knight. I. I... am More than just... a survivor..."
She'd gasp softly as that buzzing continued; as the beast prodded at her existence. Stating that her core was powerful but she herself was weak. Once again, unbidden did her answer come. If she was going to die she might as well... do this.
"I... never knew.. how to... do that... Ah.. Ah... Ahm..."
The pain was starting to overwhelm the poor fox; being cut off from her cores was making it very difficult for the renamon to think well enough. She'd clench her fists, and even though she couldn't cry at this moment she certainly felt like she was.
"I just... w...wan...ted... P...eace.. ag.... ain..."

A survivor who wanted peace.
That was all K was, in the end - someone who had been struggling through life, through hardship, through loss - and who never lost hope. Even now, as her cores sparked with the red light of the D-Reaper, she seemed to try and cling for whatever 'hope' she had.
The D-Reaper now understood this.
And for the D-Reaper, the knowledge of this thought was one of a very danger to them. The very same bodies of data that were of risk to the world, would do whatever they could to try and survive. It meant that it would be difficult to fully eradicate these powerful Digimon - but perhaps K would have a clue? Well, it seemed not, but the very strength of her data could be used as a weapon against her own kind!
So long as you threaten the world, the peace you strive for will never come.
Those words echoed in - and at the same point, that harsh red light would perk up once more. This time, it was at her feet and hands, at the tips of her wireframe - a new layer of 'surface data' replacing the old. Unlike before, however, this held the same consistency as the D-Reaper: a dull, greyish blue color, that felt more of a thick 'hide' than any sort of fur. The claws at the ends were twisted and gnarled, a clearly violent type. Slowly, it would progress up her arms and legs:
See the world through our eyes.

It was a simple desire really, she had suffered so much and been through so much that she simply wanted Peace.
She was willing to fight through just about everything, push herself to the limits time and time again. She could feel her cores trying to reach to her; try to communicate but the static and the all encompassing red light of the D-reapers made that impossible. But it didn't stop that faint flicker; that faint desire of hers.
She understood very little about what the D-reaper sought, understood very little about what it was going for or what it considered a risk. Why would it even care about her in the slightest? She was some innkeeper, some old soldier that fought tooth and nail to survive... Then it spoke again and the renamon felt her stomach wrench as it spoke of the same peace but.. how it would never come.
"You... d-d...do...don't know.. T-that!"
The words that echoed into her mind were met with her own view of things. But as the harsh red light perked up she was given something she wasn't expecting. Slowly did a new layer of surface data come into being. But it was nothing like her old data. It looked much like the consistency of that one creature from earlier. Or at least something similar to it; it was thick tough and if she didn't know better would take one hell of a beating. The claws at the end were twisted and gnarled, sorts meant for ripping into people time and time again. One that a soldier would recognize at a glance. She shivered and squirmed as it progressed up her arms and legs. She felt wrong, this felt wrong. She didn't want this, so she struggled and felt that terrible creeping finality.
The echo that followed made her freeze as not only did what the D-reaper said clicked with what they wanted with her... but it also made so much more sense than that. She wasn't sure if she could fight against this anymore; these creeping sensations made it nearly impossible to think straight.
"...But.... I... I can't be... That.. Please.. just... l-let me go..."
