The Dragon's Wrath [Plot Arc 3]

"Dagger grab Kan!" The Gaiamon yells out shaking the last of the sand from his hulking gleaming form with a snarl as he steps neatly between the General and Azulongmon one arm reaching out to block a lightning bolt that might have otherwise hit the human and injured rookie beside him. In the distance the Deusmon shifts giving a nod to his brother and Angel once she'd scooped up Emma and straightens. For a moment it's clear the destruction god wants to rip into, to tear the dragon to bits, but instead he coalesces into a flash of energy. Appearing in the sands next to the critically injured human as he very carefully scoops him up being sure to cradle the head and neck and not jostle the man. Going through the motions he'd seen Cassandra use a million times.
"Got him. We're ready to move out." The Deusmon calls back to his twin as he moves flickering in a form of light behind his twin, his feet shifting and dispersing dunes even as his own form crackles from the strain. Cloak's only response is a pained hiss and a nod as he jerks to catch another lightning bolt across the arm doing his best to provide the team cover.
"Good. Genera grab the injured rookie. If we're still alive and able to digivolve that means Hime is nearby and watching. Which means she's likely on standby. It's time to move out." The Gaiamon rumbled in a low growl and true to his words the second the portal hissed open he waved the group behind him through waiting until they had retreated through the gleaming circle of light before he gave one last snarl at the Dragon above and ducked through behind them. The portal closing with his retreat.

They were out of time!
Luke cursed his luck at this - Iko, at this point, had been just a few yards away, but he simply had to trust these complete strangers with the squirrel's safety at this point. Perhaps worse than that, though, was seeing his trusted mechanic struggle in an attempt to shield off the electric blast... but what could be done?
He had Isaac in his grip, and as soon as Amelie had a secure enough grip around him, Luke just gunned it. The engine roared to life as he spun on the spot, the blinding flash briefly replacing their vision with a sheer wall of light. Luke grit his teeth, a light on his display indicating that the Energy Glove - the shield around his bike - had just been blown out of commission. If that wasn't installed, it was quite possible that the vehicle, and all three of its passengers, would have been charred on the spot.
But that didn't even cross Luke's mind. As their vision returned, the roaring purple flame of the nitro's ignition blazed behind them, tearing away from the chaotic center. They came within yards of complex D-Reaper agents on both sides, prompting him - and likely Amelie - to keep their heads low.
C'mon, Iko... be safe... On the ground level, despite that blinding flash - aimed, unfortunately, in the other group's direction - Denryu and the rest seemed composed enough to make their way through the portal. With the injured squirrel in hand, the Xros General, the Renamon - then Dagger, then Cloak, would all make their way onto the main hold of the ArcBlimpmon.
"That's... yup, that's everyone!" Those were likely words to Cassandra's ears! Above the clouds and out of sight of the lower group, a large portal to a blue sky would open overhead, the cloaked warship wasting no time to push its thrust to full and lurch its way on through. What happened below?
At this point, it was just a force of nature. ... A force of nature, that would be an absolute sight to see. After punching the gas, Luke hadn't let up on the full throttle for miles, the sight of the battlefield now long in the distance. Pulling behind a sizeable dune, enough to cast some shade, the tamer finally came to a stop, stepping right off that bike - stumbling to his knees on the slippery sand below.
"Holy... freaking... shit..." Carefully setting the Impmon down on the seat, Luke would peer right around the dune - and yes, the Azulongmon had not slowed down its pace. The electrical dragon tore through sand and soil, the red mass of the D-Reaper peeling up off of the ground like a rotten orange peel. Above, through that thick cloud cover, an artificial 'golden light' began to peer through... had Luminas started to arrive at the scene? Or were they just holding position?
"Well, if you ever wanted the article of a lifetime..."

While a rough ride had been foreseen, Amelie had undoubtedly gotten more than what she had bargained for. In all honesty? The brunette was lucky that Luke had been there, or else she would have probably been fried by now.
That wasn't a good way to go, was it? Instead, they had abandoned the scene at full throttle, even if that small dash hadn't been without its costs; her friend's vehicle had gotten its energy glove wrecked while avoiding the chaos that had been spurred by the dragon's appearance.
Amy had to admit; she hadn't dared to look back at the scene until the bike had stopped, her body falling into the floor almost lifelessly in the face of the amount of adrenaline her body had been pumping. She gathered her bearings as quickly as she could, sitting in the cold sand beneath the shade while finally gazing at the battlefield.
“Mother of God…” Least to say, the scene was completely and totally unreal, something that Amelie's mind couldn't really grasp, at least at the moment. One thing was for certain, though; it seemed like the D-Reaper never stood a chance. Quickly acknowledging her peer's words, the teenager stood up, fumbling until she found a device capable of taking a photograph and praying it hasn't been fried by Azulongmon's mere presence.
“Hope the Digital World has an equivalent to a Pulitzer; you might be right in regards of this one being the article of my life.” A couple of snaps didn't manage to make this whole engagement any more believable, even though… “Who's the Impmon by the way? I don't know why, but there's something a little… familiar about him.”
Little she knew that she could be in for yet another surprise.

The Doctor wipes the blood off her face strapping a medical mask over her mouth and switching out her gloves for clean ones as she moves unsteadily towards the badly battered group as Cloak and Daggers forms give way in a spark of light. Resulting in a stumbling Kotemon and a falling Zubamon as Kan's weight suddenly becomes far too heavy for the rookie. Leaving Cas lunging to catch the large badly injured man as she brings him down in a controlled fall taking the impact herself as she carefully protects his head and neck. Her eyes darting between him, to the Mercuremon that is Emma, and to the lightning charred rookie in quick succession as she calculates who needs what treatment first and when in quick succession within her mind. The fact Emma's form though horrifically battered is holding is the one good sign Cas has seen all day and while the Doctor wants nothing more to grab her own two digimon up in her arms in that moment and hug them till they swear to never scare her like that again her attentions are needed elsewhere.
Killing the panic that curls within her gut the Doctor begins barking out orders. "Angel get Emma laid out flat on the ground and keep her head cushioned. I need to use a card to stabilize her form before it gives. She'll be easier to treat as a digimon." Cas snaps out her voice sharp, not cruel, but brooking no argument as she digs through her cards sliding one through the card reader before she grabs another in her grip. Emma's form is suffused in warm golden light whatever static might have been playing at the edges of her data smoothing out and ceasing it's flickering.
"General! Use this card on Angel and have her work on repairing Emma's Mercuremon form. We want her form as far along as possible before she releases it to minimize damage bleed and if you have any Xros partners that can heal get them on that injured rookie." The Doctor ordered hopefully snapping the man out of whatever daze he might have been in as she shoved the data reconstruction card into his hands before fumbling with her own medical kit digging through it desperately for a shot of morphine as she kept two fingers against the lightning charred skin of Kan's pulse.
"Hold on Kan. Hold on I've got you." Cassandra murmurs under her breath finally finding what she's looking for as she pricks the man's skin with the needle and he can feel a slow wash of cold relief smooth over his fried nerves.
"How can we help?" Cloak questions leaning heavily against his brother as the twins look on with wide eyes trying not to let their own fear show.
"Get the oxygen hand pump from my medical kit he's going to need help breathing." Cas ordered as the Kotemon scrambled to do just that as Cas smoothed her hands over Kan's chest checking his ribs.

Kan could feel himself only slightly; the mess that was his internal organs mixed with the data bleed along with the fact that he had been struck by what felt like the equivalent of fifty lightning bolts at once only seemed to give him a little bit of area to actually feel. His hands, his feet, his legs and chest had this dull burning sensation that blissfully overtook most of the sensations of touch.
He could feel his body shift ever so slightly from the motions of the Deusmon and he was gifted with the sight of the individual as they passed through the portal. It was something that he couldn't really compare to anything that he had seen before. He couldn't really place it either where he would of seen something like this. Perhaps in luminas in the short visits that he had over the years?
His thoughts were scattered which he could tell was bad; he couldn't concentrate which would only lead into a dizzying spiral of losing himself. He furrowed his brow and let out a somewhat surprised sound as cas lunged to catch him. He maybe managed to put his own two feet on the ground but he could also feel that he had no strength in his legs. They simply just refused to work. With a grunt the human would grip on the doctor as she looked about. The strangest thing right now is the lack of panic that he was feeling.
That he wasn't feeling.
The doctor was quick about ordering others for care and he could simply just watch her work. The man didn't even flinch at her touch; but he did reach over to firmly grip at her forearm with one of his hands. His eyes looking up at the woman.
"I can't feel my hands, my legs or my chest. The lightning might of jarred your work from earlier."
Slow drawling breaths which were marked with a few coughs here or there but the man could feel that soothing sensation from the morphine. He'd close his eyes for a moment which felt like an eternity to him before opening them rather sluggishly.
His ribs seemed to be fine, but that often more than not would be a lie wouldn't it? The human let out a short somewhat barking chuckle.
"Should of listened to the renamon and left through the portal... but I just couldn't you know...?"
The human stayed quiet for a few moments thinking quietly to himself about what he could do to fix this problem. What he could do to make efforts where the doctor didn't need to. Gritting his teeth he'd look up at her again, his pupils contracted and his breath coming in short painful rasps.
"How bad is it...?"

As Luke drove through the infested masses, and the Reaper sent out its hateful signal, he would find that even the imp he had rescued was not immune to its effects. He thrashed listlessly in Luke's arms, magenta droplets creeping down his forehead as if breaking out into a feverish sweat. A groan slithered out of his throat, quiet but with a distinctly digital echo to it. Worst of all, both the echo and the thrashing got worse as Luke came closer to the assembled Reaper agents, At their closest Isaac wiggled and flailed like a captive bagworm, adding another layer of complication to Luke's already strenuous task.
Of course, in Isaac's head, a different battle was raging . . .
"Yesterday was a pretty big day. But that doesn't make it too early to play. Can't just sit here resting your head. So come on, already! Get the heck outta bed!"Isaac's eyes snapped open, but only inky blackness greeted him. That song he had just heard was a little reverse-lullaby he had come up with for Elliot. It had been the day after the kickball incident, the first day Elliot spent waking up in a hospital bed instead of his own. Wracked with guilt and, for the first time in his life, concern over his brother, Isaac tried to come up with a stupid little song to at least try and help him feel more comfortable with the whole mess. They laughed at it, promised to never talk about it again, and that was the last Isaac had thought about it until now. Confusion gave way to rage. Isaac clenched his fist and grit his teeth as he waited for something, anything to become visible in the swirling darkness. His wish was granted, but not in the way he had hoped. The darkness parted, and Isaac stared right back at himself. Needless to say, that wasn't quite accurate. As soon as Isaac saw his mirror he looked down at his hands, scowling as he saw nothing but red gloves. "Figures," he muttered. His eyes lidded into a grumpy glare as he looked back at the other Isaac, only getting a shit-eating grin in return. "Can't even give me my body back in my dreams?"The other Isaac just laughed in response. However, while his laugh was tinged with warmth, there was something a little too off about it. Isaac could plainly make out a malicious glint in his doppelganger's eyes, and his smile curled like a tiger cornering its prey. If Isaac didn't know any better, he'd think his doppelganger was enjoying this. But he did know better. If the Reaper could even enjoy itself, that was secondary to the fulfillment of its plans. "Come on, is that any way to greet an old friend?" The being wearing Isaac's skin even sounded more like himself than he did. Impmon's voice was higher and scratchier, and hearing his old voice after all this time was an all too painful reminder of what had been left behind. "And here I thought you'd be glad. We've been taking good care of it for you, you know.""We?" Isaac asked, the word almost catching in his throat. His head clouded over at the thought of what the Reaper could have been talking about. "This had better be the Royal We. Or, like, some 'We Are Venom' kind of crap."Isaac's doppelganger reeled back in mock offense, touching a hand to his heart. "How could you forget?" he asked, a patronizing gasp stretched across his features. "I'm talking about your spirits, you dork! Come on, don't tell me you already forgot about their sacrifice. The way they're keeping me all to themselves so you don't gotta feel the strain?"He leaned down towards Isaac, lifting up one of the Impmon's floppy ears as if holding up a dead frog. "Trust me," he whispered, leaving a deep shiver down Isaac's spine. "If you think you have it bad now, just think how much closer we'd be without them."It didn't take long for Isaac to lunge at his doppelganger, but his wild strike failed to find a home. His human body, both taller and longer-limbed, simply needed to lean away from him to render it moot. Worse still, the doppelganger rested a palm on Isaac's head, a smile twitching on his face at how easily he could keep the Impmon away. Undeterred, Isaac snapped his fingers together, a small fireball appearing at the end. "Imp-!" he started, only for his breath to suddenly be stolen from him. Before Isaac could even realize what was going on, his doppelganger's hand was wrapped tightly around his throat. Any ease or amusement had fallen off of his face, replaced with a deeply furrowed brow and a hideous scowl to match. "Don't you even think of trying it," he hissed, lifting Isaac up by the neck. "You want this back in one piece, don't you? Or would you rather throw it all away just to spite me?"If Isaac's throat wasn't so dry right now, he would've spit right in his doppelganger's face. Instead he settled for glowering with all of his might. "T . . . this is a dream," he hissed. "You're not . . . real. I can do . . . whatever I want here, right?"The warm smile melted back onto the doppelganger's face as he dropped Isaac. "Well, well, well, isn't that right?" he asked, clapping mockingly. "You're right. You could be doing anything right now! You could dream that you're flying. Or you're a millionaire. Or that you're rotting alone in a hole in the ground." The way that the doppelganger's tone didn't even change as he said that may have been the worst part. "You could be dreaming about Maia right now. Heck, you could be dreaming about ten Maias!
But instead, you're right here, dreaming about me. Isn't that weird?"Isaac's scowl deepened so hard that his face was threatening to recede in on itself. However, he quickly stopped as an idea came to mind. He squeezed his eyes shut, fists clenched as he tried to focus on something, anything but this. Maia. Millions of dollars. Hell, he'd take the freaking hole! He just wanted to be anywhere but here. He kept this focus until a warm, peaceful feeling settled over his body. Did it work? Was he free? He creaked an eye open at an agonizing pace, hoping that when the darkness faded he would find the answer. Instead of freedom, Isaac found himself face to face with his doppelganger. It was leaning all too closely towards him, smile stretching ear to ear. In shock Isaac sprawled back, his doppelganger laughing uproariously in response. "Oh my god," he gasped between laughs, clutching his stomach all the while. "Did you . . . did you just try to dream me out of existence? That is just . . . wow. Oh my god. Did you seriously think that would work?"Isaac huffed, crossing his arms and turning away. He didn't want to admit that his doppelganger was right. Unfortunately, that wasn't his call to make. "I'd say that's your most pathetic idea I've seen yet. But considering you just tried to beg a god to solve all your problems for you, you might've set the bar a bit too high. How about I take the silver medal and we call it a deal, eh?"Isaac still refused to respond. The doppelganger sighed, waving a hand in front of his eyes to try and get Isaac's attention, but the Impmon was being absolutely stalwart right now. "Hey. Come on. It's no fun if you don't respond," the doppelganger said. "You can stew about how pathetic you are any time. While I'm here, at least let me in on the fun."Still more silence passed. Finally, the doppelganger sighed. "Look, I'll tell you what. How about I make this more interesting for both of us?" he asked. "If you miss your Maia so much, how about I bring her out for you?" TO BE CONTINUED
The further Luke got from the Reaper agents, the less Isaac would thrash around. In fact, by the time he and Amelie had parked, Isaac slept as peacefully as a baby.
If only they knew how not okay he truly was.

Thankfully, Amelie and Luke were granted at least a moment's respite. The journalist was allowed ample time to take her pictures, while the cyclist tended to the Impmon resting on the driver's seat. Luke hadn't noticed in transit, but for that entire duration, he had been sweating red - the D-Reaper data having eaten straight through his riding jacket. "Tch... guess that's about your limit, huh?"
Pulling off that jacket, Luke reached into the side bag of his bike, retrieving a simple rag as he answered Amelie's question. "His name's Isaac. He's had a run-in with the D-Reaper before - and we've had our hands tied trying to get him back to 'normal' ever since." Dampening that rag with a water bottle, he carefully ran the material across that sweating brow, at least getting the offending liquid off his frame.
As the light in the clouds parted them further, the tamer carefully picked up the Impmon, cradling the imp in his jacket. "I'm not going to be able to keep him stable on the bike - mind pulling us out of here on yours?" He gave a look towards the sky: "If we wait any longer, we're likely going to have to stick around as they poke us with every question they have. Not that I blame them..." Aboard the Dreadnaught, things were now moving a mile a minute. Angel was able to lay Emma carefully off to the side, the unconscious spirit wielder flashing with a bright, golden light as Cassandra used that precious card. The Renamon's ear twitched, as the general immediately swiped that 'Data Reconstruction' card. Looking down at her now-emerald-glowing hands, Angel pressed them carefully against the spirit's battered body.
"I'll handle this! Denryu, use Bakemon -"
"Can't. He, along with Demon and Kokuwamon, are healing in the Digivice..." Damn it, why now? Looking at that charred, injured squirrel in his hands, the masked general did the best he could - a careful finger pressed right against the neck. "Pulse is... steady." That was about the best he could hope for at the moment: setting Iko down next to the Mercurymon, he revised Cassandra's order. "Sixty seconds on Emma, fifteen on the squirrel. Count calmly and keep alternating between the two."
As for Kan? At the very least, he could talk, but at this rate? Swearing under his breath, Denryu took Emma's own D-Tector, and swiped the MarineAngemon card, a tense healing aura surrounding the tamer's battered body. It was all he could do.
Thankfully, Dreadnaught's focus on flight hadn't let them down. The sky outside took a much cleaner, blue color - before meeting the 'gray' of the steel walls surrounding them, the island's lower hanger opening to accept the group inside.
"Cassandra, let's get them stable enough for transport."
There was much more they can do inside, with proper medicine, then down here in the Blimpmon!

"You're fine. You're going to be just fine Kan." Cas spoke voice firm as she answered the man's question though the tenseness of her jaw as she grit her teeth and the breaks she could feel beneath her fingers spelled out a different synopsis. She hadn't even seen was his back looked like where the lightning had coursed down through his body. The Doctor however had always been rather skilled at lying.
"Hell I'll have you right as rain in no time flat." She quipped fumbling for another card as she slid the Guardian spirits card through her D-tector the two ghostly dracons appearing on either side of her head.
"Umon I need you to heal the injured rookie over there. Keep him stable. Amon...I don't really have anything for you to fight." The Doctor explained only sparing a hand long enough to point towards Iko as she motioned Cloak close the two slipping the mask for the handheld oxygen pump over Kan's face.
"I need you to keep a steady three beat with it to help him breath. His lungs appear to be un-punctured, but..." Cassandra trailed off worrying at her lip as she worked. The morphine hopefully kicked in soon knocking the man out. Fuck, hell, and all the curses in the world that Kan was so large or the drugs would have sent him into the sweet release of unconsciousness by now. She could see from the dilation of his eyes that the man was already starting to go into shock, the oxygen pump at least helping to regulate his breathing.
"I've got it Hime. Just concentrate on him." Cloak assured her pumping steady to the three count beat to help keep the man breathing.
"Emma should be stable enough to transport. Take the anti-grav device from my belt and hook it to her. Keep Angel healing her as long as possible. Get her situated in her room. She shouldn't need life support, but grab Char his scanners are sensitive enough at short range he can watch her and alert me to any changes." Cas ordered the ghost dragon spirit looping the Doctor's head like a strange halo. The Second one was circling Iko radiating warm healing light down upon the injured rookie.

The man let out a small sigh; he could tell that she was lying. If his body was anything to go by as he couldn't feel over half of it she was lying to an extreme. Even if she managed to help him out of the mess that he was currently what life would he live? He could feel parts of him sliding off, digitizing as it were. But only small parts; nothing horrendously damning. It was like the lightning bolt from the large dragon had specifically targeted the data bleed he had and was getting rid of it.
"It's fine Doc..."
The cracking sound that shortly followed however wasn't from his body; wasn't from anything that he was. It was this horrible slow groaning that he could hear; that everyone could probably hear. Blinking slowly the man reached into the only pocket that held anything of value in the digital world. His digivice.
There was a moment of uncertainty when the digivice was pulled out but as his hand touched the item in question he could also feel his body starting to slip. The morphine that the doctor had given him was starting to take effect; his large body had been fighting it yes but... it couldn't forever.
The device in question? Hairline fractures had started to appear all over the device; starting from the screen. The groaning turned into screaming of the highest order; a large chorus of voices screaming in pain. Then after a few seconds the digivice burst into blue data; those trapped within escaping with cries of pain and release. It was easy to see four of the five spirits for a brief second before they vanished. Monsters twisted in every shape until they burst apart themselves.
A single sad and tired voice; one that he had learned time and time again spoke. It had protected him to the very last even if it wasn't the strongest he had it was the one that he was connected to the most out of the batch.
I'm sorry I couldn't protect you.
But unlike the other spirits it slowly eased into blue data; much like the little bits and pieces that were coming off of kan. The man stared at where he could just feel the spirit for a moment before the world went black.
"You... did just fine..."
The man went limp, his breathing continued and his pulse itself was slow but thankfully steady. The doctor likely wouldn't get any sort of psychical response from the man anytime soon....

As interesting as this one was... journalism wasn't everything; it was true that Amy had been a just a little neglectful of the situation at hand all along, but that was ending now. She had risked hers and the safety of most beings around her enough, yet... she couldn't but feel several beads of cold sweat descending through her forehead at the mention of the Impmon's name...
Isaac. Could it be? Probably not, but if that was the case... why was the brunette having a bad feeling about this.
Slowly, she turned to face Luke. "Isaac? Hopefully, you're not referring to a spirit user who can evolve into a Devidramon and has a little brother called Elliot, right? And... 'get him to normal?' What are you referring to? Is there something abnormal with him, or something?"
As abundant as those queries were, time was of the essence; giving a quick nod at her friend's request, Amelie got her car out, the doors opening automatically not a second afterward.
"Get in. Where are we supposed to go? Terminus, Whitewater, the nearest settlement, somewhere in the Human World or... somewhere else? We can get there in the blink of an eye."
The vehicle's engines roared with confidence. It was time to get the hell out of here; this time for sure.

Well, wasn't that a pointed question.
Hearing Amelie's educated guess, Luke shot a brief glance over his shoulder, before returning his attention to attend the Impmon. "Yeah, small world, I guess." He gave a sigh; this really wasn't the time to discuss this in detail! "In short, he's stuck as an Impmon and we're working to try and get him back. I'll give you the long and short of it later."
Time was, indeed, of the essence: as the car appeared, Luke retrieved his own bike, stowing it away in the Digivice. He gave a glance towards the commotion in the distance once more, swearing under his breath as he hopped into the passenger seat. All Luke could do, in the end, was grab Isaac and save Amelie. Kan and Iko were still somewhere out in that mess, and the engineer just had to trust that the two were able to pull through.
Closing the door, clicking his seat-belt, Luke gave his answer: "Whitewater, and try and take it to a place that normally accepts teleporting vehicles." He'd seen the specs on this thing already, and knew what she had in mind! Even with Cassandra along for the ride, the group seemed short hands, only barely keeping up with the chaotic situation before them. Angel kept her attention on Emma, as the General gave a nod to her orders. It didn't take long for the anti-grav device to be set up - and as Umon took over the healing for the squirrel, the Renamon kept her attention on the Mercurymon, proceeding along with Angel as they were carted off.
Breaking off of the Xros, the Knightmon stayed behind to assist as needed - but at this point, he more-or-less looked on in both awe and horror, with what was happening to the dark spirit wielder.
"..." In all, it didn't take long for the Azulongmon's tear through the land to come to an end. With no more lives at risk at the center, the dragon's electricty tore out as ferociously as ever. Each set of blasts of the D-Reaper's energy against the dragon's frame was met with a defiant roar, the powerful storm reducing the offending attackers to mere ash. Perhaps more impressively, however, was that whenever the Sovereign let out such a blast...
... The ground did not give. Despite its ferocity, the D-Reaper did not form on the unstable ground, actual patches of corruption briefly flickering in before dissipating out. And as the D-Reaper fell - as the ground became 'pure' once more...
... The dragon surged with one last roar, before condensing back down, with a bright flash of light, reverting to its form as a statue - hairline cracks surrounding its now battered form. With the path clear, it didn't take long for Luminas' forces to descend downwards...

Well, those answers were exactly what the brunette was afraid of. Cold sweat kept on running through her brow, even if she did her best to calm down after taking a deep breath. Her expression was inscrutable at the moment, even if one thing was rather obvious at the moment; the teenager got the sense of urgency this situation had more than ever.
"Small world indeed. Okay, but I expect for you to spill the beans as soon as we get to Whitewater." She nodded immediately. "There's no time to waste; let's go."
Once everyone was inside the car, the doors proceeded to close automatically; the vehicle took to the skies for a brief moment before a gateway appeared directly in front of the group. Not losing an instant, the car went through the portal immediately.
Somewhere that normally accepts teleporting vehicles? That seemed to be simple enough, considering they were going to one of the biggest cities in the Digital World.
A certain cat doctor's office, for example! Amy just hoped he was slightly less mad after that incident on the Dark Area, however. [Exit]

Cassandra tensed her eyes going wide as parts of Viktor began to disintegrate pooling into fragments of data as the Doctor let out a sharp breath in fear. "No. No. No. No. No. You are going to make it Kan! Gods and sovereigns damn it all I'm not losing another!" Cas hissed under her breath working desperately as she slid the regeneration card through her D-tector trying to make up the loss the man was going through. Her fingers against his pulse feeling the slight rise from the strain this placed upon Kan's body as the Doctor and her card fought to restore what what being rapidly lost. The Spirits screeching around her form as the woman half hovered over the downed spirit user her teeth bared with a vicious snarl of defiance. She wouldn't let one of those corrupt fractured things latch onto her vulnerable patient. Couldn't let them.
Then the last spirit appeared rising above the others like the sun at dawn it's form already fragments, changing, returning to the cycle of the world. "He'll survive." Cas swore. That's all any of them could do now. Survive.
