"...I...have been meaning to ask, how did you wind up having...access to that as a form? I mean, people told me I became a Crescemon once...I'm still not sure how that happened. Don't even have any memory of that...But a Meicrackmon seems odd."
Coolmon moved to stand a fair bit away from K, and eased herself into a fighting stance. Antylamon were highly flexible and mobile fighters capable of altering the density of their body on a whim. This one's stance seemed evocative of that. Long arms. Long legs. A rather lanky girl.
All topped off by a pair of seemingly emotionless eyes. "To the challenger goes the first blow." Coolmon spoke. It was oddly cold--Like she was a different person entirely. And verbose, too.

"I sparred quite often with a meicrackmon; enough fights lead to surface data being exchanged to the point of where my core had a proper grasp on the form. Mixed with some data instabilities I had at the time simply lead into it developing alongside others. Such as Raguelmon."
The shutmon tilted her head a little bit and furrowed her brow quietly as the Antylamon told her about the fact that they had become a Crescemon a single time. The shutmon had run into only one or two of these individuals; they usually were fairly high minded and strong.
K could see that this individual was flexible, likely light on their feet. The long arms and long legs would also mean a long reach. Something she'd be fighting uphill against. her icy blue eyes swept over their form once or twice looking for openings in their stance. Fighting them leg over leg would be foolish, getting in too close would open her up for a good grapple attempt. But the shutmon could use her blades to sort of meet the middle...
Of course there was another option
The shutmon sprung forward her right arm coming around in a wide and rather harsh slash. It was aimed in such a manner to test the reaction speed of the other. Would they block? Dodge? Move into it to try to stop her arm? Just what kind of fighter was she dealing with? The shutmon had options depending on what they did and what type of fighter the antylamon turned out to be.

Odd. That's what Coolmon thought of that turn of events. They must have...sparred an inordinate number of times for that to have happened. Meanwhile she still had no proper explanation for what had happened to herself. It was doubtful that she ever would. There was, however...
...Opportunities abound. She'd need to stay out of the reach of those arm blades...As K sprang forward, Coolmon decided to do what she had viewed as a tried and true sort of maneuver by now with the spars she had been engaging in at the grounds. Letting the opponent go first meant you had plenty of room to dodge, usually. The Antylamon did a rather stylish looking roll as the arm of the Shutmon aimed to find purchase...
And met very little. In the span of a second, Coolmon stood and swung her arm right for K, the forearm gaining the sharpened edges of the treasure axes as she aimed to test the warrior herself!

Honestly K likely would never know the reasons for this development, nor would she know why her core seemed so malleable. But perhaps it's strength lay in the fact that it was primarily blank rather than a mess of information at the start. It simply had things fed into it which could of on it's own done a lot for her.
She didn't really have time to think about it all too much anymore; she took what she could get in combat situations. The meicrackmon form was powerful as was the raguelmon and she would both to defend her friends or family wisemon mark be damned.
The stylish roll only allowed the shutmon to keep track of her opponent, it was something you could expect with a wide slash like she opened up with. She'd quickly bring her other arm forward and angled it in such a manner where it would meet her forearm blade. A loud clang resounding of which; there was as always a brief moment of struggle but her purchase on the ground wasn't exactly the best and in this position she was pushed backwards just a touch.
This didn't stop her from taking a moment herself to pull back from the other's reach; eyes darting across their form. Taking in those treasure axes with a curious light. One of her hands darted backwards as her forearm blades switched from their 'attack' to 'sheathed' mode again.
Why was she going for the big sword on her back so soon?

So far so good, really. Coolmon was expecting resistance from the getgo, but not quite like this. She had to keep moving on her feet. After all, that was the one proper way to deal with a ninja wolf. Outrun them. Outdo them. Outgun them.
Something did pique the interest of the Antylamon, however. A brief moment dedicated to sheathing the forearm blades. That perplexed her. Greatly. But, she had to make use of this. This was maybe a once in a lifetime opening for her. The Antylamon moved in to attempt a grapple upon the Shutmon. Notably, however...
She seemed a lot more durable all of a sudden. Rigid.

K flipped her sword out and was looking rather thoughtful; she had managed to gain further attention to her forearms because of that simple motion of sheathing her arm blades. They would make for good swinging but sheathed they could also help in some defensive maneuvers.
She wasn't expecting the antylamon to try a grapple so soon, and with her arms out of place she felt those arms around her. With a snort the shutmon turned the blade inward making a stabbing motion to the back of the other digimon. She certainly was a bold one wasn't she? Would it really be a good idea to do this so early? Especially when the opponent was still armed and ready to go?
Regardless of the answers to any of those questions would change the fact that she was limited in her movement at the moment. It was a touch surprising that the other had managed anything of the sort this quickly. She just hoped that the end of this grapple she'd still be standing. After all if it was as powerful as the other made it out to be she was in a heaping helping of trouble!

See, any smart combatant would have released that grapple to get away from the big sword. Unfortunately, Coolmon was not that smart. Her more tactically sound decisions were few and FAR between! The Antylamon merely moved a small inch before the blade struck home and...It was clear that Coolmon had actually used Arm Bomber from how durable her frame seemed.
And there was a windup. The Antylamon winced and yelped as the blade stabbed into her, before she released one end of the grapple and -aimed a blow right for her center.-
She wasn't really about to get out of this grapple in good shape, but she was certainly going to use this opportunity to dish out some damage of her own!

K wasn't sure why the other hadn't moved out of the way, that sword would hurt pretty badly if she got a few stabs into it. She'd snarl in irritation however when there was that windup and follow through that launched her backwards away from the Antylamon.
That had hurt.
A lot
She felt her body twitching as she slammed into the ground, winded by such a blow. She hadn't anticipated the arm bomber to be so effect. Nor had she expected it to go off so smoothly. She had honestly expected them to try to work it in when she was closer to out so they could knock her out, but that wouldn't be much in the way of sparring if they couldn't give advice.
Wiping off some spittle the shutmon stood up using her sword as a tool to do so; her icy blue eyes locking onto the Antylamon. She'd grip the blade and after a moment the blade itself grew charged with electricity. Dancing across it's length like a demon possessed before the shutmon lept forward kicking off of the ground to show that she wasn't just that simple. She wanted to come down with a vicious strike that hopefully would knock the other back a bit so she could follow through with something... else.
"Lightning blade."

An exchange of blows was had and the universal result was that each combatant had been in the same state. Pain. Perhaps the Shutmon had some regrets about lending Coolmon that combat advice, but at the same time, what she did to actually get the Arm Bomber going was likely not worth going through simply to get one blow in. The rabbit kept her stance, and watched for what K was going to do ne-...
That was lightning going across her blade. This was a universal sign of disaster! "...Oh sh-" She wasn't necessarily about to counter, no. It was more staying on the defensive here, because lightning was not something the rabbit enjoyed being around. To that end, she leapt back!

K stared at Coolmon for a few moments, noting that they didn't act while she was lighting that blade up or taking advantage of the multiple openings that would of come from it. It was a mix of caution and naivety perhaps? That or stepping into the range of her blade spoke ill of them.
Finding that the rabbit leapt back to avoid her upcoming attack the shutmon followed after them; closing the distance was important and there was no denying that. Bringing her sword up in one hand the shutmon reached out a grasping hand to try to grab at one arm of the rabbit.
Following suit she'd bring her sword around to try to smack the rabbit across the head with the flat end of the blade. Mixed with the electricity it'd be quite a dazing experience! She was a bit hurt from the arm bomber from earlier but if K knew anything about heavy hitting attacks she also knew that they wouldn't come up for a bit.
But the question is how long would it be before the other could use it? What supplemented it? What would they do? Avoid to use it again to try to immobilize her or perhaps they'd use it for when K used something more dangerous than just a simple blade...

Where the rabbit went, it appeared that the fox would follow. The Antylamon found, very quickly, that despite the swords? Or, rather, the abundance of pointy ends? Shutmon were fast. She wasn't quite nimble enough to avoid having her arm be grasped, but she was quick enough to bring the other one up to cushion the flat end of the sword.
It's not a good idea to do that if there's electricity involved, really. But, Coolmon had some degree of a plan in this. She tried to shove the blade away with the now singed hand (that was also in pain) before she attempted to reel her head back and close the distance for a rather gnarly headbutt.

It wasn't a surprise that the rabbit type digimon was fast, nor that she was able to keep up in a sense. Perhaps it had to do with balance or experience but in the end her plan of grabbing the other and slapping her with the flat of her blade worked out all right. With one arm grasped like that she was able to make a decent hit on that arm that cushioned her blow.
But the following strike mad the shutmon grunt in pain and fall backwards, she quickly however kicked off the ground and followed in suit with switching off that electricity. Following suit? The shutmon examined her opponent from a good bit back. Narrowing her eyes slightly the shutmon shook her head slowly; she had seen what she needed to but.. she had a few questions. Holding up one hand she'd signal for the fight to effectively 'end'.
"You have a good array of options Coolmon. Even in the middle of things you keep a level head. Where did you come from if I may ask? Any formal training or mostly self taught?"
The shutmon planted her sword in the ground and leaned on it, rubbing her face from that nasty headbutt. She'd be feeling that one for a few days that was for sure! She'd have to probably get Coolmon's hand looked at or... alternitively she could do it herself.
"Also next time you try to block a blade with your hand like that, go for the hilt or arms to stop the motion. You've got the reach for it."

The lagomorph's admittedly pretty dumb gambit had sort of worked well. Sort of. It struck true. It sent K going backwards. It was something. She was ready to continue to fight, too, until the Shutmon had signaled for the fight to end. The following questions were simple to answer.
"I hail from the Village of Beginnings--Don't really come from anywhere in specific that I can remember. As such, I'm just...self-taught. I don't do much. Just practice a lot." The Antylamon nodded a few times before she promptly dedigivolved into the form she was more noted for spending time in. The form of Cutemon.
"Yep, I definitely do! Like, dang, I haven't taken a ruler to my arms in that form yet but it's crazy how far I can reach. It's like the top shelf!"

A simple burden of birth for some, while an unfortunate truth for others. To K being born at the Village of beginnings didn't mean much to her. She herself had been born in the northern expanse, each of her children coming from the village and she presumed that her husband came from the same. She'd consider quietly and simply dipped her head in thoughtful nod.
The shutmon tapped her nose thoughtfully and slid down to the white furred renamon offering a hand to the cutemon. Though she spoke quietly, tenderily. She was making an offer that she didn't make to everyone but from what she seen, the advice she had been given well... Why not?
"How would you like to receive more training, have a place to call home within the digital world and to protect it's people?"
She'd break her lips in a little grin and chuckle softly.
"You'll need more than just a ruler to see where else you can reach Coolmon."
Honestly she wasn't expecting a yes to her question but if the small rabbit like digimon agreed well... K could get into the nitty gritty of the knights of the rose. A small band of likeminded people that would do their best to protect the digital world of the growing threats... both close to home... and far out into reaches unknown.

Wait, was the Shutmon (now a white Renamon) really serious? The Cutemon's eyes kind of widened about a second after processing that offer. She thought on the offer for a good five seconds. "More training would be nice. And I do need a better home. Old Terminus is...not the best place in the world. Plus I haven't been there in weeks...Think I'd just get angry if I went back there."
Birds. They're bad.
"Well, that depends? Are we talking literally or figuratively? Also, uh...That's a yes. I'm not that good at making some things clear, sorry." The rabbit scratched the back of her head.
