Justice looked down at his notes, computer screen, and calculator in a rhythmical pattern as he finishes his homework. It had been a long day of doing research in the American section at the Shibuya School Campus grounds. This is his third week in Japan and so far he found everything to be very lively, more lively than back at home in the States. He began to notice that a lot of the folks tent to stare at him a lot, mainly because seeing an African American here in Japan was so rare to see. Usually he would be with his fellow American classmates going site-seeing across the city, but today he skipped out so he can get his assignments done so he can chill for the weekend. His grades were looking good so far, but Justice did not wanted to let them slip, not even a percentage. He sat in the back of Koma Café since there was a power cord there, probably the only one there for customers.
"Ok, a Warm Front can typically be associated with... A: Cloud cover, B: Inversion, C: Warm surface temperatures, or D: All of the above," Justice murmured to himself. It was the last question of his homework about Meteorology. He knew he heard this in class, but couldn't remember what it was. He moves his cursor over to C at first before moving it to D and clicking on it. After a brief pause, Justice chose D as his final answer and submitted his quiz. Out of 40 questions, he got 37 right. "A 92 percent, huh? Well at least it's an A." He closes his laptop and let out a relived sigh, happy that he finished all of his homework for the week. He takes out his phone and sees that it's only 4:44. With a little time to kill before heading back to the place his American class was staying at for the semester, he takes the menu that was sitting on his table to the front counter to order some fries and a drink since he doesn't know how to speak the language besides greetings and farewells.

"At least I'm not the only one who has different skin." Blake joked to himself as he was at the entrance of the Cafe. It wasn't really his intention to interact with anyone but, it's one those exceptions.
The exception he made when he was first introduced to Digimon with someone coming over to help. With the second exception. He didn't want to get into but, he was past that.
Question is, how should he approach the guy? Well, he shouldn't mention what actually goes on around in Shibuya. Considering that from the looks from it, he seemed to be more interested in trying to make the grade and may take his education quite seriously. To him, it was best to hide his D-3 for now.
He started to approach him, now even sure if he wanted company. "Hey, you new, my guy?" He spoke to him, casually.
Believe it or not, it was Blake's first time actually attempting to connect with someone for a while. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to try again.

Justice turned around to the voice that called out to him, knowing that it was meant for him and was greeted by a teenager who was about seven inches shorter than him. Lucky for Justice, he was the same skin color as him, which made Justice a little relief since besides his American classmates, he hasn't engaged in conversations with any of the locals. However seeing the scar on the teenager's face made him keep his guard up as he might me a local street punk or something.
"Oh, um yeah...kinda," he stammered off. Trying to make a good impression without coming off as awkward. "I'm from the States studying abroad here. I've been taking classes here for three weeks so far and doing adult stuff, the latter at which you wouldn't understand yet. Are you from the States as well? Because you're like the first black person I've seen here."

"Yeah, I am. Came from New Orleans, Louisiana." He answered to him to then go back to what he said before. "I actually do understand. It's just that I'm trying to familiarize myself to Shibuya before I eventually have to go to school." He answered him back.
Something tells him that this person is not the one to be messed with. His posture seemed firm. Blake then touched his own cheek to faintly feel the scar on his face. "Oh, this is just from a biking accident. I'm guessing that's the reason why you look prepared in case someone attempted to steal something from your possession." He said to him.
"Wouldn't blame you. I do the same thing except the fact I don't trust anyone on the fly." He added. To tell the truth, he can be pretty gullible which can easily have him trust you if said the right things.

"New Orleans, huh? I family down there, though I didn't quite get to visit them often because traveling's expensive, especially when you're from Chicago," Justice said to the young man. He became surprise when he told he knows what it's like to be busy.
"Well, you could be like me: going to school here without knowing the language and not knowing your way around here. He laugh at his comment, knowing that it was kind of stupid for him to study in a country without knowing the customs, but he took enjoyment out of it.This is actually the first time I've been exploring around here because I heard this was a popular place for students to hang out."
His grip on his laptop lessons as the kid explained about the scar on his face. He gives a sigh of relief. "A biking accident huh, shit," he said to him. "And yeah, I always keep my guard up against people that looks shady. Uh no offense, man. It's just I was in a-" Justice pauses, remembering the shooting at the block party back when he was twelve that killed several of his friends. He shakes his head to get the memories out of his.
He puts his laptop in his bag and relaxes his posture, knowing that the guy is alright so far "But anyway, you seem like a cool kid. I'm Justice by the way." He reaches out his fist to him for a fist bump. If it's alright with you, you think you can show me around Cat Street?"

"I'm Blake." He answered him as he gives him the fistbump. "Yeah, I can show you around but, I don't know a lot about Cat Street. I can try though."
He finds a seat to then push it where Justice was to now sit on the other side of him. And for your information." He then said something else but, it was entirely in Japanese which was "I've been here longer than you but, I didn't familiarize myself with the area." with a little smile.
He was going to let him talk but, then he heard a beep from his pocket. "Oh boy...." He muttered under his breath, looking down before looking at Justice. "I'm just going to use the bathroom. I'll be right back." He said quickly before heading his way to the lavatory
He went inside to then close the door, going to the farthest stall there was. After a couple seconds of silence, he then took out his D-3. "What do you want?" Blake asked him.
"You haven't answered in awhile." Renamon answered from the digivice.
"I was in the middle of talking to someone." Blake answered him back.
After that, it was just small whispers that came from inside the stall.

"Ah thanks Blake," he responded. "And that's alright, it can be a learning experience for the both of us, you know."
As Blake sat down, he was surprise that he can speak fluent Japanese despite being younger than him. "I have no idea what you've said, but thank you," he said, smiling with him. Before he could ask Blake on what place in Cat Town they should visit first, he heard a beeping noise coming from Blake, probably his phone. As his new friend excuses himself to the bathroom, Justice took out his phone and went on the web.
As he went scrolling past his notifications, he saw a message from an unknown contact without any number at all. Skeptical to open it, h swipes it way, thinking it was a pop up ad. A few seconds past, and the same message pops up again. He swipes it away again. After repeated attempts to get rid of the message, Justice caves in and opens up the message.
The message then covers his phone completely black. "Oh goddammit I knew it was one of them virus ads," he exclaimed. Before he could shut off his phone, a blue text was beginning to type itself on the screen. He eyes widen as words began to form without his input. He couldn't make it out since it was in Japanese.Becoming increasingly nervous, he tries to turn his phone off, but not avail. He takes the battery out, nothing; the screen was still on. This was not a virus ad he thought to himself. The text then began to translate itself to English, which each symbol slowly becoming words he recognized. Finally the text reads in complete English: Great things will come to you soon. The ominous message then cuts out and he was meted by his home screen. Freaked out by this, Justice turns his phone off and waits for Blake while trying to forget what he just saw.

A shadow of a dream, a wish manifested... from the dark to the recesses of the future...
When the self comes to realize one's own darkness... one shall not fear the cold night no more...Prologue: The Digital Shadow Appears... Zachary didn't yet start school since the news hit. It was not the most comforting to be on his own now, since he had trouble making friends as it was, but the hope was that with him in a more permanent resident he would get to make more friends and create a more stable relationship with people. He didn't know however, it would be without his parents, or in the center of Tokyo. Zachary walked along the streets of Northern Shibuya, a social hot spot for people his age. He stood out enough as he was an American technically as he moved with his blue coat flapping in the breeze behind him. He kept his hands in his pocket as he looked over the scene of color from graffiti artists. This place seemed far more lively in an artistic sense. Modern pop-art and even was reflected by the styles of people that moved around. His time with his parents and visiting so many museums gave him good insight into art and grew up with an appreciation for it in all its forms. Still, despite it, he felt alone now. He dreaded the idea of going to school here, but he had studied enough Japanese, and he was relieved to learn a majority of people here were well versed in English. He even had an app on his phone that took the text and translated it into general English, so he knew where to go. He listened to "Twister" on the sport-head phones he wore as he made his way around, still feeling on guard as he sought out a place to rest. He was a bit far from his apartment, or Sojiro's place. Looking around, he soon saw something. The Koma Cafe-- which was well wedged between a good amount of the graffiti but all just enhanced the appeal of it. It was a mix of an arcade as well as an eating place. It reminded him of Dave and Busters but on a more local scale. Curious, he made his way into the establishment. The sound of people chatting and clanging dishware could be heard as he took a moment and looked it over. He saw a variety of young people like himself, but many were already well accustomed to this place. He heard someone shout about a computer bug of some kind as he sat down, but didn't know if he should get involved or not. THat kind of thing always got him into more trouble than just minding his own business. For the moment, he tapped his phone into the free wifi of the area, and just waited. He needed a rest from the long walk anyway and thought he could see what was going on. "Can i get you anything?" a voice asked. Zachary shot his gaze up to find a nice brunette women, roughly in her 20s address him. He was grateful the woman was not in one of those maid uniforms. It gave him some sense of security he didn't run into one of 'those' places. "Um, I'd like to see a lunch menu please?" he asked hesitantly. "Just a moment. I'll get it for you." she said. As he waited, he sat back and took out his own tools. A book with cards in it, and his smart phone out. He continued to look around, interested but hesitant. Vergil @therenamonguy

As Blake got out the bathroom, he quickly pocketed his D-3 and sat back to his seat. "Sorry. That was my Dad, he just wanted to know where I was." He said to him. Blake then tilted his head as he noticed something. "You seem a bit spooked by something. Are you okay?" He asked him.
Something tells him this wouldn't be just a normal day after all. A normal day is not having to deal with anyone or not having to be in the crossfire. For Blake anyway.
Blake's D-3 started to beep again with him ignoring it. "In the middle of something." He thought to himself. He'll have time for Renamon to talk to him but, for now, it not the case. It then started to beep again with Blake coughing with his arm covering his mouth. "Sorry about that. Anyway, what was I saying?" He asked him.

Justice tilted his head upward to see that Blake had returned. He looked at his phone, remember the message that came from his phone. "Oh, I just saw something weird on Twitter," he dismissed. He didn't think that Blake should know about the message. Did somebody hacked his phone, was it a troll, he didn't know . "Sometimes when you venture into that part of the Internet, you see a lot of weird stuff, some of which that makes you question the meaning of life. And before you ask, it wasn't porn. I ain't a degenerate."
The same beeping noise that came from Blake's phone went off again. He said he just gotten off the phone with his dad, but who was calling him this time he wonder. 'Probably his girlfriend', he thought to himself.
"Oh yeah, you were going to show me around Cat Street." He got up from his chair and started to stretch. He didn't knew how long he was sitting. Hours most likely. That's what happens when you've been sitting for long periods of time. He lifted his bag over his shoulder and walked to the entrance.
Unbeknownst to the both of them, something came out of Justice's bag the moment he lifted his bag off from the chair. It fell under the table and made a faint noise that not even the both of them could hear. It was a mysterious tech glove emitting a faint orange glow from under the shadow of the table.
Justice gestures a comedic bow to signal their departure. "After you mi compañero hermano. See? you're not the only one that knows a language. My mistake was learning the wrong one before coming here."

It was easy for Zachary to eavesdrop-- only because he had a sharp sense of hearing than others. He couldn't help but hear the part about porn. Sure, everyone would say that about it-- in the end they probably peep at it when they 'needed' it. He wanted to say it out loud but he just chuckled at it and kept it to himself.
He looked at the menu and soon ordered himself a cup of hot chocolate and a sandwich to go. He wanted to enjoy things but everything seems a rather fast pace. He wanted to interact with people but he didn't know how to start. Let alone, but still, he noticed something. The second guy at the table looking at his own laptop-- wasn't Japanese. He was noticeably more American-- perhaps Hispanic at most since he heard Spanish. But that wasn't the point.
He hesitated a moment, till he felt the goggles in his coat pocket. He kept it close to him-- a gift he got from his time in Australia. It reminded him to not hesitate-- to seize the day. Carpe Diem , they say. With a deep breath, he rose up from his chair and approached them.
"Excuse me," Zachary said, daring to get into the conversation. "I'm sorry but... I couldn't help but overhear. You're from the states too? I'm from America too , well initially, and I am kind of out of my element here..."
He bit his lip, wondering if he already screwed up.

Blake chuckled slightly at his comedic bow. "At least you know an additional language." He said to him as he stood up from his seat.
"Anyways, we could hang out, I guess and try to show you around. As I said, I'm not familiar with this area so, this is probably going to be new to both of us." He continued speaking to then see someone come up to them to ask if they're from the states as well.
"Well. Yeah. I have been meeting a lot of people from America lately." He said to him. At first, he didn't want to have someone else tagging a long with him but, now thinking it would piss of Justice if he brushed him off.
"I mean, do you want to come with us? We're going to look around Cat Street for a bit." He said to Zachary.

Justice turned to see a dark-colored shaggy headed boy wearing a blue jacket. Justice initially thought that he was Japanese, hearing that he is from the Sates like the both of them started to make sense; the complexion of his skin, hearing his articulate English made it a dead giveaway. He appeared to be about the same age as Blake, but taller than him nonetheless, but still only four or five inches shorter than him. Even though he had a shady appearance, Justice could tell that he was trying to make new friends as well.
"Oh, you're from the States too," he asked him. "Well you can come with us. It's always nice to meet a new face around here." He was surprise to hear that there were more people here from America, probably around the same age as him. He crossed his arms, couldn't help but wonder why, but brushed it off as just a coincidence.
"Don't worry about it dude, I'm out of my element here as well. In fact, I've been so busy with school lately that I've haven't had the time to explore around Shibuya. Heck, this is actually my first time in this café." He extended his fist to the teen. "I'm Justice, and this over here is Blake whom I just met a few minutes ago as well."

He could tell-- he wasn't very wanted as another 'guest' to the group. It was an odd thing to ask, he could tell. Still the offer to come along had put his fears to rest as he relaxed a bit and rolled his shoulder to toss up his bag. "Sure. I appreciate it. Thanks," he replied politely and gave a bow of his head, a habit he had gotten into since coming to Japan. The other one, Justice was indeed from the states and he felt more at ease to be more open. He doubted they were malicious or anything close to bullies he had in school, so he felt a bit more open to share. "Thanks... My name is Zachary. It's nice to meet you too," he said as he reached out to shake their hand. However, the meeting of the fist threw him a bit. It took him a moment to really get it, then met him with his own fist. Zachary grew up with a more refine sense of manners thanks to his parents-- but he was no idiot when it came to social culture. He just was old fashoned that way, he supposed. "Justice?" he asked, a little thrown by the unusual name. "And I thought Zachary was rare. And nice to meet you Blake. I haven't started school yet-- I'll be at Shushin Academy in about a week or so." He looked around as they began their trek through Cat Street, observing the once again vibrant colored culter around him. "SO what brought you to Tokyo, Just?" he said, abbreviating Justice for short. @therenamonguy Vergil

"It's a pleasure to meet you Zack," he said, abbreviating it for short since he likes giving people nicknames if they had long names. He felt a calming, yet innocent aura from the teen, so he can tell that Zack was nice, albeit timid.
"Zachary, a rare name? Man, you would be surprise how much of a common name that is. My name is the one that's uncommon. So uncommon that I've only met two people who shared my name, and they were all girls." He put his hand over head, embarrassed about remember something when he was a kid. "Maybe that was the reason everyone called my name a girl's name back in grade school," he murmured. All three of them exit Kuma Café. The sun was slowly starting beginning to settle, and thankfully, the temperature was starting to dip. Justice liked the cold. He stared at the sky for a brief moment as they walked, going from bright blue to gold. He knew why the sky changed colors at sunrise and sunset was due to blue light scattered during the day becomes too diluted, and the red light normally not scattered much in the atmosphere is so spread that it's visible to the human eye. But nonetheless, it was his favorite time in the day since Shibuya, especially Cat Street, becomes much more vibrant and alive at night, something that he rarely got to see back home since he grew up in the suburbs, which was only littered with street lights.
He turned to Zachary and smirked, seeing how he's now abbreviating his name. "Well, currently right now I'm studying abroad here from my college back at home," he said, readjusting his bag as they continued to walk. "I mean originally I didn't want to, but my mom really, really insisted that I should go out to see the world for myself while still hitting the books. What about you?"
