Exploration was not really something you could see Mae doing often. The Keramon was more concerned with hiding and staying at the Library more often than not, nowadays. But, when the mood did strike her, she found she went in hard on finding things to learn about in the world.
Part of this included hitting her birthplace, the Server Woods, up. Albeit, it was very brief in nature, as she found herself venturing further and further in, until she found she wasn't in the woods anymore. Slowly, she found ruins being reclaimed by nature, ever by the second.
She had heard of this place. A labyrinth. One that would contain secrets and treasure...The former interested her more. She had very little to do with the latter. No...Through this hellhole of vines and trees, and prehistoric structures, there'd be something to glean.

"I really don't like this plan anymore..." a female Gabumon squeaked as they timidly covered themself with their pelt as a Musimon snorted at their friend's worries; a nearby Lopmon just sighing as they shook their head apprehensively.
"Aww c'mon, its not gonna kill ya! No one lives down here! Its a literal ghost town here!" the punkish looking lapine grinned as she kicked a piece of rusted scrap metal that had fell off the wall of the ruins, it overtaken mostly by nature itself. "Besides, I bet theres still some good stuff down here, so lets keep lookin'!" he commanded, the trio of Rookie level soldiering onward amid the ruins.
Considering the direction the chatter was coming from, Mae probably would notice them coming her direction... The question is, were they friendly or not?

Mae continued to slowly maneuver about until the sound of chatter registered. More than once. Okay. This was...okay. There wasn't any need to get scared or anything, right? Whoever those two were, they were coming in her direction...The Keramon gulped and tried to steel herself to face her company if they showed up.
A trio of people. Okay...Okay. Calm down. Mae simply waited for the trio to show themselves in her line of sight. Once they were visible, she tried hiding the fact she was scared out of her mind, something that was probably a failure in and of itself, and waved. "Uh...H-Hello!"

The trio of Digimon did not appear particularly hostile at a glance... If anything, they just appeared to be a buncha kids with the way they acted. Their individual responses were varied though, the Musimon gazing at Mae with heavy suspicion. "Ewww.... What are you? Some kinda clown jellyfish?" the Musimon spoke with mild disgust as they looked at Mae, briefly looking around the Keramon with a look of morbid curiosity.
The Lopmon was more considerate, giving her comrade a stink-eye before glancing back at Mae apologetically. "Musimon, don't be rude... I'm sorry, Musimon's just kinda naturally rude. Are you from around here?" the chocolate-colored Rookie quietly spoke, giving Mae an apologetic look.
If Mae was scared of these Rookies, than how frightened was the Gabumon right now? She was practically covering her face and shivering at Mae's presence before briefly peeking from behind Musimon. "Y-You aren't a mean Digimon, are you?" they timidly asked, gulping slightly as they gazed at their surroundings. "W-We're just exploring... We don't mean any harm."

You know, Mae had heard remarks like this before. She was kind of like a clown jellyfish, really, but putting it like that kind of stung. "Kiiind of...Um, no, I'm not from around here. Or there. Or...ah...Anywhere, really." A stranger in every sense of the word, even if she had hatched in the woods.
The Lopmon was sweet. That lifted Mae's spirits a little bit. Though, the Gabumon reminded her of herself...A lot. She was scared. So was the Gabumon. "Um...I strive to be a good person. I'm also exploring, and I don't wanna hurt anyone...Um...I'm also a little lost, I haven't been here before..."

Of the three, the Musimon was the one who was most suspicious of the Keramon before them. They just looked gross and weird... No wonder they didn't belong anywhere! "Man, are you a Virus or something? My pa told me to stay clear of Virus Digimon... You guys are nothing but bad news!"
Thwack! Before anyone else could react, the Lopmon had took the liberty of SLAPPING the Musimon's face with one of her long ears, an extremely-peeved look on her face. "Hey! My mom is a Virus, so don't be a jerk!" the chocolate bun huffed before glancing back at Mae. "D-Don't buy into Musimon's bullshit. I believe you are a good person. I'm Lopmon, and this over here is Gabumon..." they gently spoke as Musimon tried to get his bearings from the ringing headache he now had.
Gabumon was a bit less frightened now at least, the reptilian Digimon giving an awkward nod to Mae. "W-Well, we're out here treasure hunting... but I don't think our parents would want us here. I-I think its kinda dangerous to be out here all alone."

"Oh, yeah, I'm like, the worst news." Mae just kind of agreed with the Musimon a bit but at the same time? Not really. She more meant that SHE was bad news. Though, Lopmon did a good job of dissuading that. "Musicians speak only lies." She told the bunny with a nodnod. "I bet he doesn't even actually play music. Um...Hi, I'm Mae."
Wait a second these guys had parents? Why were they out here? "...Why didn't you come with your parents...? I mean, I don't...have any but...I think they'd be worried...It's dangerous to go anywhere here alone..." The Keramon scratched her head. This was foreign. Why wouldn't the parents want them here? Treasure hunting was definitely healthy!

"Man, you two are taking it's side? Laaame. And ouch, thats cold." Musimon spoke in exasperation at his so-called friends, though lost some of his gusto after Mae commented about his lack of musical talent. It hurt because it was true. Man, seems like theybare just a goodie-two shoes... He didn't need parents bossing him around! "Dude, our folks would like ground us for life if they caught us here! Its not like this place is as dangerous as they say! Like NO one lives here. Whats gonna happen? Us dying from choking on dust?"
"Its all his idea. He dragged along Gabumon and I felt the need to babysit him." Lopmon sighed as she shook her head. She might have been the shortest, but she was easily the most level-headed of these Rookie levels. "We should honestly just head back... Theres nothing here. I really don't want to continue because we don't know whats ahead."
"Yo! Don't be stone-cold Lopmon! I got this ~ We ain't leaving just yet! Not till we find something good!" the yellow jean-wearing Digimon loudly smirked as he shot at his companions with his fingers... both his hands and ears.
While none of these kids seemed to notice anything particularly off... Mae's Fatebreaker was rapidly put to work against the Keramon's will, and the visions shown? Not fun... Horrid depictions of one to ALL of those kids being snatched up in the maw of an emerald-scaled drake bursting out of the ruin ground assaulted Mae's mind... that is, if she didn't do something...

"It's true, though." That was the last thing Mae had said towards Musimon. So what if he was lacking in gusto? If he was going to talk shit, he'd best be prepared to receive it in full. "...This place is called the Tyrant's Labyrinth for a reason. This place -is- dangerous, dingus...And you got your friends all tangled up in this stuff..."
...Why do people...act like this? Nevermind the fact she was an it. She didn't care about that. "I'm coming with you. I don't want people to get hurt h-" As Mae spoke, she almost doubled over suddenly, putting her hands to her head as the visions flashed before her. That bit she said now about this place being dangerous was -all- true and...
They were in danger. They were in so much danger. She had to move. "W-We need to move. Now. T-There's something coming a-a-and it's going to eat you and you need to run and it's b-below us!" Mae had flipped from calm but somewhat annoyed to full-on panic.
She was hoping they'd listen to her. She knew she wasn't very...well, nice-looking. Or hadn't been the best person. But she hoped they'd listen...Mae even moved forward to start quickly ushering everyone along. At least, away from where she was sure the drake would come from. The Keramon was trembling in fear.

Man, this Keramon was really getting on his nerves... This place wasn't that dangerous! It was just all a buncha hullabaloo the adults feed them to scare them... well he wasn't scared! "Oh, like we're inclined to listen to a living hand puppet on whats dangerous or not. You probably aren't much older than us, so why should WE listen to you?" the Musimon irritantly spoke, not believing a word what Mae was saying. "I-I agree with them though... This place is scary. Even the name is scary!" Gabumon somewhat shyly spoke... The Keramon seemed nice, and honestly she really didn't want to be at a place called The Tyrant's Labyrinth any longer than she had to. Lopmon was also equally compliant with the idea of leaving, but before she could say anything... Mae seemed to recoil in pain, they looking like they were in pain. Sure enough, they were confused by the sudden shift in tone as the Keramon began attempting to push them all back. "H-Hey! Wait! Calm down! What is wrong?" the lapine brief inquired, the look of confusion on her face signifying her unawareness of the situation at hand. Musimon was to say the least unamused, he attempting to push back. "I don't know what they are yiping about! Hands off the goods weirdo!" he exclaimed... at least before a soft rumble silenced him. Mae's efforts did not go unwasted. Just as predicted, the Groundramon burst out of the ground... but their intended targets had already been moved to relative safety. Mae however would have been hit by some of the rubble that rained down if they didn't get out of the way QUICK, the trio of Rookies reacting appropriately... by screaming their heads off. "Puppet thing was right?!" "W-WHAT IS THAT THING?!" "Watch out!"Of the trio, Lopmon was the only one to do something directly to help Mae (blasting away a chunk of rock that was about to hit Mae with a Blazing Ice), she beckoning them over as the other two were trying to escape. "Hurry up, before it gets out!"The Groundramon was in the process of trying to pull their massive, heavy body out of the chasm they created... a hungry, malice-filled look in their eye at the fleeing Rookies.

"Bad! Bad things! U-Underneath us!" Mae was a panicky mess that fought right back against Musimon. Can't this jackass actually listen to her and not be talking like a moron?
"Of course I'm right! I see these things! I see them no matter what!" Mae yelled, continuing to push the kids she was trying to protect back as she was buffeted by debris and rubble. It hurt. It was not pleasant in the slightest to undergo, and Lopmon saved her from further pain.
He was staring at the fleeing rookies. Mae had an idea on how to proceed. "...Just run! I've got this! It wants to eat you three! I'll stall it!" With that, Mae looked at her hand and...drove it right into her face, ripping it open as the light of Digivolution pierced through the wound she had just inflicted and her Meicoomon form leapt out of the dissipating Keramon. And as her claw glowed a bright red, she zoomed towards the Groundramon in an attempt to land her Deathbound right on the face of the drake!
Deathbound: Meicoomon takes a big leap to try raking a big chunk of data off of her target! While this is nothing like the other user of this move’s version (it can’t snare, for one) it still hurts, plus it leaves the target with bleeding if it connects. Two turn duration on the bleed. Two turn cooldown.

If there was one way to deflate an oversized ego, it was the fear of being eaten alive. Musimon might have had his pride, but he was willing to put it aside to go with what the suicidal Keramon was wanting. "I'm going, I'm going! Lopmon get over here!" the DJ spoke calling out to Lopmon who was a bit behind due to trying to help, he holding Gabumon's hand as he tried to help her forward.
Lopmon while seemed to for a moment hesitate at the mere thought of Mae trying to distract the Groundramon, she seemed to become a bit more relaxed to see Mae's Meicoomon form burst out of their head. A horrifying display, but compared to the hungry emerald lizard that wanted to eat them? "We'll go! Get out as soon as you!" Lopmon called out to Mae, running to the others as Mae faced off against the Groundramon as it managed to finish pulling itself out of the ground... a creature whose head was at least three times as large as she was.
That cat had brass balls.
Groundramon was a perpetually angry creature... and having its face clawed by a weird cat was not helping its mood either. Their face was softer and unarmored unlike the scales on their body, letting the claws tear nicely into its face as they left behind one nasty gash. The drake recoiled slightly, letting out a bestial roar as it did what any creature its size would have done to a bug... Swat it into oblivion with one of the two large claws growing from its shoulder. Mae was fast and Groundramon was slow... but the damage this thing could do would have been VERY painful.
Groundramon was hit by Deathbound and is now bleeding from the face. It attacks Mae with Scrapless Claw.
Scrapless Claw - A brutal swing in an area directly in front of Groundramon with the claws that grow from its shoulder. Its slow, but MAN does it hurt if it connects. (Cooldown: 2 Turns)
Durations Bleed - 2 Turns
Cooldowns: Scrapless Claw - 2 Turns

Mae might have been suicidal. She might have been a lot of things. But she was not a fool. She knew exactly what she had been getting into when she digivolved and leapt at the Groundramon. It was big, sure.
But she was fast. Far faster than this thing could hope for, right? It was brief but Mae had a vision of what that swing would do. Hell, it was goddamn obvious what that thing hitting her at all would cause. A lot of pain.
More than she was already in. Mae tried to leap back, but the stress of actually using her Fatebreaker ability to change the future earlier? It had slowed her down a little. This lead to her taking the claw...Barely. It knocked her over and was probably going to hurt like a bitch in the morning, though it wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it -HURT.- Worst of all, though, was that this had left the Groundramon a little bit open.
"InHALE!" Mae quickly got to her feet and jumped up, whipping her hands forward as tendrils took the place of claws. Tendrils that began to spin violently as they unloaded a salvo of data pellets aimed for the Groundramon! The keen eyed might note that she was aiming for the face, primarily. But given this was a big, chunky boi, anywhere would work! Plus, any data that she managed to knock off the drake would go right back to her.
Mae takes a Scrapless Claw before she unloads Spider Shooter on the Groundramon. Spider Shooter: A Chrysalimon tendril emerges from Mae’s body before it begins firing gattling gun rounds from the end of it. Mae can do this with both her arms or one. One post cooldown.
If she hits, Plague'll take effect and start funneling data to heal her. Wooooooo.
Cooldowns: Deathbound 1/2 Spider Shooter: 0/1

Mae may have been a whole evolutionary level below Groundramon, but she was doing a great job at capitalizing at her few strengths over the beast. That speed and smaller size did alot towards helping her evade most of the blow. The Groundramon was satisfied enough just hitting the feline, the slight bleed being painful enough to draw their irritation.
The good news was that the kids had seemed to retreat to safety, though the bad news now was that Mae was the Groundramon's primary target and had their full attention. It might have been an animal, but it wasn't stupid to recognize Mae attacking it. It with surprising speed managed to brace itself against the barrage of shots using its shoulder claws to shield itself; the bullets barely even scratching it!
So much for that plan.
Another jolt of movement had the beast rear its claws back... Suddenly, loose debris and fragments of the ground began to be torn from their spots, collecting into a ball that rapidly grew in size! There was a bit of a wind-up, but the moment Groundramon hurled the ball of stone and earth caused the ground itself to shake from the force as it rapidly rolled forward.
Groundramon was hit by Spider Shooter, but the attack did very minimal damage due to guarding against it. Groundramon is attacking with Terra Firma.
[PASSIVE] Hard Scales - The rough scales that cover most of Groundramon's body are as hard as steel, giving it great defenses overall. Unfortunately, Groundramon is also slower than normal to counteract this.
Terra Firma - Groundramon gathers up raw material from the area to create a massive ball of debris, hurling it at foes. While it can be stopped with an equal amount of force, it will crush nearly anything in its path if not stopped. (Cooldown: 3 Turns)
Durations Bleed - 1 Turns
Cooldowns: Scrapless Claw - 1 Turns Terra Firma - 3 Turns

As Mae had landed, she had more than enough time to note that Groundramon didn't quite take much damage, if any, from her Spider Shooter. Yeah, it seemed like this was going to take much more effort than icing some Hackmon. At...At least the kids weren't here. As Groundramon then began to move much quicker than Mae had ever anticipated, it created a ball of debris and earth and stone.
Uh. Huh. Yep. Seems like that's gonna flatten her. But, she had a plan that had as much chance of working as it did getting her flattened. The plus side of this, if any, was that this plan probably had equal chances between success and failure. An earth shaking ball that probably requires an inordinate amount of force to stop...But it was pieced together, right? What if she shot a hairball at a point where it was weak...?
She had to try it. It was that or risking death. Mae opened her maw, heaved, and shot forth a hairball at the rolling ball, said hairball exploding upon contact! Did she shoot it right? WHO KNOWS! If it's stopped, good! If not? Well...
There's a ball she was gonna get crushed under. And it was going to hurt. Mae couldn't do anything to avoid that with that stunt...
Mae's gonna try shooting the attack...with her own attack. Does that work? God, who even knows?
Trichobezoar: Mae opens her mouth and fires a hairball. The hairball promptly explodes upon contact with anything. One turn cooldown.
Cooldowns:
Deathbound: 2/2 Spider Shooter: 1/1 Trichobezoar: 0/1
