Not just any Fishing trip... [Syre]

It would seem that the two sisters did indeed have something on the end of the line. As they reeled the fish in they could see the first signs of it's silvery body as it thrashed against the line in the water. Their catch slowly being reeled in closer and closer until... A dark shadow rose up from beneath the surface as a large armored head thrust out of the water tossing the fish on the end of the line high into the air as big sharp jaws SNAPPED down onto the helpless prey line and all revealing a Seadramon! The great serpent moving to dive back into the depths before it paused coughing and hacking as it tried to spit out the line and the hook that had gotten stuck in the skin of it's jaw. "What ta heck!" The rough looking Seadramon growled out as it thrashed it's head back and forth revealing it was missing an eye and likely dragging the sisters around by the pole in it's surprise.

"Mm? I think we're supposed to throw the small ones back... not that this one looks like a small one!"
Syre couldn't help but give a chuckle - as Holly reeled in, the sister looked on in anticipation. A nice-sized fish - something similar to a tuna - thrashed right along the surface of the water! Heck, that looked like it would be enough for a 'mon by herself already! She prepared to help drag the fish in, and congratulate her sister...
... Only to see a wall of water splash up, a strong bite taking the fish and the hook all at once! Remembering Holly's point from before, Syre blinked into action - locking her arms right around Holly's back, to help secure her line. Seeing just the head of the Seadramon, the cat gave a blink.
"Sorry, sorry! Holly!"
She wanted to say 'Holly, let go!', but she was already doing all she could just to brace the Meicoomon in place!

The meicoomon was actually fairly glad that they caught something smaller; so that she could show her bigger sister how to do this without much of a struggle. However when the dark shadow turned into this armored head that thrust out of the water her eyes turned as big as saucers.
"What is... That?"
She was worried about the line most certainly; but this digimon was one she hadn't seen before. A giant serpent type that had swallowed her catch whole... then followed suit by hacking and spitting up their line. The meicoomon jolted a little bit as the bigger mon started to move their head around. They couldn't brace something like this! Her grip on the pole couldn't beat whatever this thing was.
"Fiddlesticks! going to cut the l-line!"
All and all the mix of the force from the seadramon normally would of been enough to toss holly herself around but thankfully her sister was thoughtful enough to lock their arms around her back giving her just enough time to cut that line with a claw. She'd whine in frustration and stare at the Seadramon.
"I liked that lure..."
It took her maybe a moment or two to awkwardly try to wiggle out of her sisters grip staring still at that big serpent that had taken their catch... and line.
"He looks mad too..."

Cutting the line had saved the two feline siblings from ending up taking a bath in the lake, but didn't seem to do anything to ease the Seadramon's temper as he rolled and thrashed in the water frantically trying to get the hook out of his mouth while lacking hands. His frustrations soon turning violent as that giant tail swept out fit to catch the two cats if they weren't quick in leaping out of the way and toss them into the watery depths of the lake.
"Why you! How would'ya like it if I came inta your garden and started putting spiky metal things in your food!" The angry digimon spat out frost forming around the edge of his mouth which was leaking minute amounts of data from where the hook was driven through his cheek as he snarled. The scars coating his armored head indicating the digimon was no real stranger when it came to a fight.

"Y-yes, cut the line!"
That sounded good! The moment that claw slipped right across that taut cord, the tension in the line would go away, causing both Syre and Holly to stagger backwards. Disoriented, Syre shook her head, relieved that the two were no longer being dragged in by the line...
... Only to find that her dear sister was staring, almost dumbfoundly, at the line dangling from the Seadramon's fangs. What, the lure? "Holly, c'mon, we need to go! We can't - gah!"
Okay, bad to worse! The Seadramon's random flailing wasn't something Syre could keep track of, and one swing hit her hard in the side, sending her - and likely Holly - sailing right into the pond! Against the chop of the water, Syre managed to breach past the surface, gasping for breath. The Seadramon screamed, well, something in the background. But that wasn't important.
Rather, she called out: "Holly! Holly, where are you!"

Holly knew what to do when lines were stuck, she knew what to do when the rod was tangled. She knew that some lines didn't go on some rods and some rods needed special lines. But this was something way out of her depth. When they staggered backwards together holly was gifted with the sight of that seadramon. Staring in a mix of awe and curiosity. She felt bad that he was hurting but that didn't mean...
"Go where si-"
The meicoomon looked back at the wrong moment and was suddenly airborne. Blinking for a moment she felt the loud smack of the water against her body and like that she started to struggle and panic as she never learned how to swim. She panicked and flailed her arms, trying to call out but just taking in a mouthful of water causing her to sputter in frustration and irritation.
"S-fpha... Syre!"
This was bad, she hadn't a clue what to do in this situation. As she moved her tendrils and arms or legs she could feel her body move upwards bringing her head above the water. But she was kicking too much, being too forceful. She would tire herself out. She'd sputter and spit the water she inhaled coughing rather harshly.
Her side hurt for some reason, was that from that tail slap? Why would he do something like that? That was unneeded and really mean!

The water was indeed at full chop as the Seadramon struggled it's thrashing proving futile in removing the hook as it then turned deciding to take it's frustrations out on the two cats now in the water. "Let's see how you like it huh!" The Giant sea monster Digimon growled out sucking in a great breath as it reared back and took aim. Before letting out a stream of icy breath which formed into needle like arrows as it saturated the water. Then once it's attack was done it arched diving back down into the depths.
The water would slowly calm, but the dark shape of the serpant Digimon moved beneath the surface ready to lash out and strike as it eyed the two struggling figures with a narrowed angry gaze. Wasn't it just like a bunch of cats to come to his lake and try to steal his fish and hurt him. Only now he wasn't so little anymore and the cats looked more like fish bait then him cat food.

Oh no.
Oh hell no. Managing to keep her head above the surface herself, Syre looked on in horror as the Meicoomon thrashed and struggled. She... she couldn't swim! Realizing this, and seeing her sister panic, Syre's only thought in the world was swimming over to her. Kicking through the water, the Seadramon only seemed like a terrifying backdrop - one who was making this situation far worse.
She looked on as that breath was taken - a sharp spread of needles thrown over the pair of them. Gritting her teeth, Syre made a choice: she took a breath of her own, and let out a bright flash of blue fire, straight above Holly. The needles would pass through, and simply fall into the lake like heavy rain, as the BlackGatomon tensed her teeth.
The needles over her sank deep into her back - her champion-level frame able to endure much easier than the rookie's own. Working through sheer adrenaline, she'd push forward, and slip her arms under Holly's shoulders.
"Holly, Holly!" She spoke calmly, into her ear. "Take a deep breath, and hold it in. Look forward." She gave a nod: "The shore's right there. See? Its right there."
She knew the Meicoomon could 'flicker'. And so long as she'd get to the shore, Holly could take comfort in knowing that Syre could swim right after her. Syre uses Cryogenic Scorcher to protect Holly.

The seadramon was attacking them?! It was doing something all holly could do was struggle to keep herself aloft and stare at this serpent as it gave an attack. What could she do to get out of the way? Flicker? No that would just put her in water again and she couldn't...
The meicoomon let out a sharp gasp as that flash of blue fire passed over her and changed those needles as bits of heavy rain making her sputter and cringe. They were hot but it was much better than getting those to hit her. She could feel the pain from that tail slap start to ease up as her body started to fix itself. Something she knew little about but was thankful for none the less.
She felt her panic increases as that seadramon left into the depths again. Holly let out a surprised sound and almost slapped her sister as they slipped their arms under her shoulders. The calm voice made her tendrils stop flailing and she'd take a gulp; trying to hold it in.
Then the blackgatomon pointed out how close the shore was, how close that it could be. How far they were wasn't terrible; she might have to move a bit to use her flicker to get out of the water but then she'd be safer than in the water. She'd shudder and take a moment focusing herself to be closer to that bounty. The solid ground.
Pop.
She'd claw her way at the water, firmly slowly. Struggle to get closer. How far away were they? She'd chance a glance back; eyes wide and fearful as she continued forward.
"Syre...? Why is he..."
Log -Holly flickers towards the shore and then swims to try to get to the shore!
Move: Flicker: Holly is capable of a short ranged teleport that bypasses most physical boundaries without issue. While Holly might make it closer to the shore Syre would not be so lucky. Beneath her the waves grew choppy once more as the seadramon thrashed beneath the surface stirring up silt and dirt and making it difficult to see where the sea serpent was lurking until...
The creature burst from the water lunging for the BlackGatomon as it twisted to curl it's body around the cat in a tight grip as it snarled and moved to drag the little feline under. Pulling her down...down...down into the depths of the lake. "You will remove this hook." The Seadramon rumbled it's voice echoing beneath the water.
"And you will leave my lake or I WILL eat you." The Champion level digimon ordered it's tone leaving no room for argument with it's demand even as the silvery hook glinted in the silt laden waters where it had pierced through the Digimon's cheek.

Syre knew why the Seadramon was circling underneath the surface. Heck, she knew that she probably had a fight ahead of her - she couldn't outmaneuver a Seadramon in the water, after all.
None of that was immediately important. Not before Holly's safety. Thankfully, the Meicoomon took her words to heart, and managed to safely get herself back to shore: a soaked, desperate cat who was just waiting for her sister to get to shore. And Syre tried, kicking right after her, but to no avail. Seeing that shadow darken from below, the cat took a deep breath, drawing as much air as she could before she was harshly pulled under. In just the span of a few seconds, Holly would see the serpent breach, surround her sister, and pull her right into the depths of the lake, barely visible as shadows underneath the water.
Syre struggled, trying to push away at those scaled coils, those words clearly echoing into her ears. They gave a small twitch, the cat's eyes lightly stinging as she forced them open underwater, facing the serpent. He gave a simple demand: remove the hook and leave, or else. Calmly, she nodded, the cat slowly making his way forward towards the Seadramon, gritting her teeth as she gave a look at that hook. All she could see outside was the faintest bit of metal, where it had poked through.
The cat didn't have a choice: holding to that metal mask with her right hand, if allowed, she'd try and reach her left hand inside, feeling for where the hook had poked through.
Please be a simple hook...

Holly was thankful she got back to shore, she was thankful without a doubt that she hadn't sunk into the depths and that her sister was there to help her. But as she looked back, seeing her sister harshly pulled under she felt something somewhere crack. She felt her limbs jerk and the meicoomon moved towards the edge of the water.
She could feel her core beating in her chest, thundering in her ears. Her breath was coming up shore and while she couldn't see them her pupils dilated just as harshly. She'd clench her teeth and let out a small growl.
This was new. This.. This emotion. Something she had never quite felt before. It was raw, unimaginable and it hurt. It hurt to feel like this; she didn't like it. It wasn't her. It simply wasn't what she was. While she didn't touch the water she was damn near close to it.
Something further than that; there was this odd twisting. Something she could explain. More energy maybe? This wasn't fair; they could of just helped the seadramon out of this. He didn't need to attack them, nearly drown them just to make a point. She could feel her sides heave a little bit as she started to spark; her tendrils flailing uselessly at her sides.
All she could do was punch at the edge of the water, crying out for this seadramon to give her her sister back.
Why did she have to pick that lure? Why did she have to pick that hook?

"Good. You understand." The Seadramon muttered letting Syre close as he watched the cat warily with his one good eye. Carefully he opened his mouth just a touch. Just enough to let the BlackGatomon slip her paw into his mouth and feel for the other in of the lure. The bit of fishing line still trailing from it enough to give her a clue to where it was besides just the glint of metal where it had driven through the Seadramon's flesh.
Above them the noise of the angry upset Meicoomon was nothing, but muffled chaos, the likely pounding of Syre's pulse in her own ears and the sounds of the water drowning out the little kittens panic. Beneath the waves Seadramon was king. Beneath the waves he was safe and no cat could get him and once he was certain the hook had been removed he'd be rid of the Gatomon as well. He'd teach them to trespass in his waters and perhaps scare them so badly they would think twice about just stealing fish without checking first.

Of course she understood. The Seadramon couldn't have made it any more clear if he drew it up on a piece of paper and spelled it out for her!
Letting out a small bit of air to level the tension on her lungs, Syre would set out to work. She had no other choice, right now, then to trust the Seadramon's intentions. So long as he kept his word, didn't change his mind, and the two cats stayed clear of this lake, they'd all be nice and safe. Unfortunately, deep under the lake, Syre was only working through a small amount of filtered light, and the small amount the Seadramon parted his fangs wasn't helping much. She was able to feel it out, though, and eventually, felt where the hook was inside the cheek.
... A nasty, barbed hook, designed so fish couldn't so easily spit it out. Syre even gave a wince as she felt the edge of it, suddenly realizing just how much of an issue this could be: it slipped in with a 'point', but to pull out was to deal with the entire barb at the tip of the hook.
She couldn't speak to defend herself, or to explain. So she did all she could: she pulled the hook just into place, lining up at least the main metal 'stem' in line with the puncture... and she pulled.
The hook would be free.
And the sudden pain? Oh, that would be at least an eight out of then, as that barb pulled right through that cheek!

My fault My fault My fault My fault My fault My fault My fault My fault My fault
She convinced her sister to go fishing with her, she said she would explain it out. She said it would be easy, that they'd have fun. But all she ended up turning into was a liar. A filthy liar; something she couldn't stand. She felt that twisting horrid anger wrenching through her. pushing through her core. It made her gag, it made her cry out against the waves. But it did something far more than simply any emotional reaction.
It pushed this light, this overwhelmingly gentle light around her body. Crisp and taut she grew growling and howling at the water. Her hands flexed and gripped against themselves drawing out steady lines of data; her teeth gnashed and she felt her body grow. She was different. She was powerful. She could help her sister. There was so much more about this body that she didn't know, something she'd have to explore.
Just where had the bastard taken her?
The anger was starting to get the better of her; she could feel it rising up and snarling out something that sounded more guttural than not she felt that pulsating power much like her lesser form when she tried to recharge a game holder but... it was so much stronger. So much more violent.
"You don't just get to take her..."
This strength she had here wasn't simple, wasn't for her and with a over the shoulder heave she'd throw the bolt of lightning screaming at the water in a fury that she hadn't felt before. That she simply couldn't feel before.
There was nothing that made her feel like this.
There shouldn't be right?
The loud crack of thunder would split through the area as the bolt itself careened towards teh meicrackmon's best guess at where the seadramon had taken her sister. She wanted Syre back dammit!
"GIVE HER BACK YOU OVERGROWN EXCUSE FOR A FILLET"
