Despite his gruff nature the Seadramon would hold surprisingly still for Syre as she fished around in his mouth for the lure her paws finding that viciously barbed hook where it had been thrust through the serpents cheek. Feeling her grip the metal the waterborne digimon tensed, but not even his readiness spared him from the pain as he roared the agony of having the hook ripped out only doubled by the sudden wave of electricity that swept through the water. The lightning causing the sea serpents body to lock and spasm despite his attempts at care resulting in those wickedly sharp fangs coming right down on Syre's arm.
Though the Seadramon would struggle to unpry his jaws his body sparking with lingering lines of static it was likely the damage was already done as he moved to grip the BlackGatomon and attempt to fling her with all his might up and out of the now lightning ridden water and to the safety of the shore. He might not have liked the cats, but he wasn't a killer and he made it a point to keep his word.

She was expecting a reaction.
She wasn't expecting that reaction. As soon as Syre made that pull - and as soon as she felt an electrical surge, of all things, rack through her spine - Syre felt a pain she'd never forget: the Seadramon's fangs closing right into her left arm. Her resulting scream robbed her of the rest of her air, haphazardly flung upward, dragged through several yards of water before she would finally breach.
The BlackGatomon would land several yards to the left of Holly - and the moment she hit the ground, she'd curl around herself, bringing her right hand to hold over...
... Well, what was her left arm. Right above where the elbow would have been, she grit her teeth, and held her pressure over it, choking over her breath as she gasped over the pain.
"H... Holly... get dad... Holly..."
She gasped, her words stumbling over herself. This...
... Well. It wasn't what Holly needed to see to calm down.

The meicrackmon wasn't expecting anything that followed.
No she wasn't expecting to see her sister launch out of the water and land so close yet so far from her. Scrambling she'd run over to her sister; freezing as she saw that her sister was curled around herself. She'd look from place to place trying to see what was wrong; trying to think of how she could help.
She couldn't run and get her da, leave her big sister alone or trust that something wouldn't come after her. Scooping up the blackgatomon the meicrackmon started to sprint away from the pond and back towards the library...
"That looks bad Sis! Mei... Mei! If I go and get him it'll take too long I'll.. Just hang on!"
The meicrackmon was in a right state of panic, she didn't care that she forgot the tackle box or that she forgot the rod. Stingmon would understand and it was likely that they could just come back a bit later to grab the two before anyone made off with them.
Just hang on sis...

The Seadramon would peak it's eyes just over the water line watching with a narrowed gaze to ensure the cat did in fact safely land on the shore as he hacked and spat trying to rinse the lingering taste of the BlackGatomon's data out of his mouth and ease the raw stinging of his cheek. Seeing the Meicrackmon, now wasn't that a surprise which explained the lightning, scoop up the BlackGatomon and run he was satisfied that they likely wouldn't be returning.
Slinking low beneath the depths the Seadramon settled into his den to rest his mouth too sore to hunt further. Perhaps he could con Stingmon into giving him a few of his fish come thursday in addition to his usual payment for letting the bug use his lake for sport. Maybe he could even talk the other champion level into putting up some darn 'keep away' signs. Signs were hard to make when you lacked hands.

"Holly... Holly..."
Syre was out of it. Even as the MeiCrackmon plucked her up, Syre only gave a groan, tightening her grip over the remainder of her left arm. She hissed heavily through her teeth, ear twitching at the champion's reasoning... and then they took off.
The tacklebox didn't matter. The lure didn't matter. The fish didn't matter. All Syre could do was maintain, grit her teeth, and leave it all to poor Holly. She hissed through tensed fangs with each bound as the MeiCrackmon ran off... and, thankfully, the Seadramon didn't think to follow or try to attack them.
"Holly..." The BlackGatomon gave a whimper, looking right up to her. "Are you alright? He didn't... ugh... hurt you?"
Dang it, she couldn't think straight. But right when they got back to the Library? It took all of fifteen seconds for the doctor to take Syre under his own care.

"You're okay, You're okay, it'll be okay, you're okay. It's fine we're fine, we're both fine. We're better than fine..."
The meicrackmon stuttered and shivered, sprinting quietly through the open fields. They didn't go far but the distance didn't matter, it was the injury she had. Just how bad was it? They were holding themselves and was going to make it a problem if something was honestly wrong.
She was glad that the seadramon didn't follow her. She'd of had to do... something. Multiples maybe? She'd blink a little bit and shook her head a little bit at that whimper, looking down at her sister. Her sister that had stopped her from being punctured by those icicles. Who had pushed her towards the shore with words alone.
"...He didn't touch me past that tail slap at the start.... I'm fine don't worry sis it'll be okay."
She was glad that she could hand off her sister to her da. She'd stand there quietly, even taking a seat to let her da take care of her sister. Holly was fine. A little rattled, a little worried. Fearful of what could of happened. She put her head in her hands and simply started to cry...
