Wafcake63: Oh, good, I have a 1/3 chance of picking the best choice! This situation was never ideal in the first place, but it's a welcome break... Wafcake63: K-g7.

Wafcake63: Apologies for the wait on my end, too. Check means an easy decision, but... it's never easy emotionally, haha. Wafcake63: Kh6.

Mako_02: Very well then, the position seems to be wide open now. Allow me to demonstrate the full power of the Queen now. I move my Queen to d5.
Note just how many squares it attacks and pieces it threatens. This is why the Queen is deemed the most powerful piece.
1. P-e4, P-c5 2. N-f3, P-g6 3. P-c3, P-b5 4. Bxb5, P-a5 5. O-O, N-f6 6. R-e1, B-h6 7. P-d4, P-g5 8. Pxc5, R-g8 9. P-e5, R-g6 10. Pxf6, Rxf6 11. Nxg5, Kf8 12. Nxh7+, Kg7 13. Nxf6, Pxf6 14. Bxh6+, Kxh6 15. Q-d5

Wafcake63: I’m sure there’s a way to win with this ragtag group, despite the Queenly menace, but yes, the Queen certainly has a lot of options. Wafcake63: Trying my best while reminding myself nothing too much is expected... Wafcake63: Qh8.

Mako_02: Oh dear. This move doesn't really address the threats my Queen made here. She is threatening your f7 pawn and your a8 Rook. She can now capture either one freely. Now then, since the Rook is more valuable, I will capture that piece, like so. 1. P-e4, P-c5 2. N-f3, P-g6 3. P-c3, P-b5 4. Bxb5, P-a5 5. O-O, N-f6 6. R-e1, B-h6 7. P-d4, P-g5 8. Pxc5, R-g8 9. P-e5, R-g6 10. Pxf6, Rxf6 11. Nxg5, Kf8 12. Nxh7+, Kg7 13. Nxf6, Pxf6 14. Bxh6+, Kxh6 15. Q-d5, Q-h8 16. Qxa8

Wafcake63: Uh... Mako, quick question: Wafcake63: Is there... any reason for me to follow this tutorial game all the way through? Wafcake63: Will I learn something from continuing until I lose in a specific fashion? Wafcake63: Because I've been taking really long to respond, and I know it's because I can't do anything anymore, and I somehow manage to keep making even more wrong moves than the wrong ones I already make... Wafcake63: I try very hard to be a good sport, but I can't help if I'm not having fun with this match anymore ^^;

Mako_02: Oh, that's alright. If you reach a point in the game where you're not sure if you're able to win, you can resign at any time and still be a good sport about it.
Mako_02: There's nothing to be ashamed about if you choose to resign. And, to be honest, if you're not enjoying the tutorial, we can stop it here and review some of the moves you made.

Wafcake63: Thank you, Mako. I think I'd prefer to resign. Reviewing the moves will also be hard for me, but at least I'll be learning more, and I won't be able to make any more mistakes while reviewing the ones I already made. Wafcake63: I should really stop being a downer about the whole thing.
